| 1 | EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH AND NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF LASER SHOCK FORMING OF TA2 TITANIUM SHEET显示文摘Laser shock forming (LSF) was a new technique realized by applying an impulsive pressure generated by laser-induced shock wave on the surface of metal sheet. LSF of metal sheet was investigated with experiments and numerical simulation. The basic theories were introduced; the surface quality and deformation of the processed titanium sample (TA2) were examined; ABAQUS was used to simulate LSF and the central displacement of the shocked region was measured and compared with the simulation. Overlapped LSF treatment was experimentally carried out to produce groove and simulation. The results showed that the surface quality and the microstructure with single laser pulse had no remarkable change, and ablation was observed on the surface of the sample with overlapped pulses. The deformation observed in the numerical simulation agreeed with that observed in the experimental measurement quite well. | F. Wang Z. Q. Yao J. Hu Q.L. | 17 | Effects of Current Stressing on Shear Properties of Sn-3.8Ag-0.7Cu Solder Joints显示文摘Effects of electromigration on microstructure, shear strength, and fracture behavior of solder joints were investigated by single-ball shear samples of eutectic Sn-3.8Ag-0.7Cu (SAC) joined by Cu plates at two sides. The electromigration tests were conducted at a current density of about 1.1×103 A/cm2 and a working temperature of about 83℃. The results showed that the shear strength and flow stress decreased greatly after current stressing. Such a decrease was associated with no significant loss of the fracture strain at short electromigration but a great reduction in the fracture strain after long-term current stressing. The variation of the fracture strain with the electromigration time was shown to result from the shift of the fracture surface from the center of the solder towards the intermetallic compound (IMC) interface at the cathode. | X.J. | 18 | Synthesis and Room Temperature Ferromagnetism of Flower-shaped Mn Doped ZnO Nanostructures显示文摘Large-scale flower-shaped Mn doped ZnO nanostructures have been grown on silicon substrates by simple thermal evaporation at atmospheric pressure.The flower-shaped nanostructure makes up of many nanorods,which are rooted in one center.Analysis of X-ray diffraction,high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and Raman spectra results reveal that the products are of single phase with wurtzite structure.Elemental mapping results show that no impurity clusters exist in the doped materials.The photoluminescence spectra demonstrate that many oxygen vacancies exist in the doped materials,and the crystal quality is improved and the content of oxygen vacancies is decreased by annealing treatment.The flower-shaped Mn doped ZnO nanostructures exhibit ferromagnetic ordering above room temperature,and its magnetization is decreased by the annealing treatment,which indicates that the magnetic behavior of the doped materials may be related to the interaction between Mn doping and the oxygen vacancies. | Y.Q.
