1Effect of scanning strategy on grain structure and crystallographic texture of Inconel 718 processed by selective laser melting显示文摘Two types of scanning strategies were adopted to study the effect of scanning strategy on grain structure and crystallographic texture of selective laser melted(SLM) Inconel 718. The results show that bidirectional scanning without and with a 90?-rotation for every layer produced the bimodal grain structure and the directional columnar grain structure, respectively. Controlling the heat flux direction between the successive layers via scanning strategy enabled the formation of such different grain structures. Furthermore, when the 90?-rotation was applied, the competitive grain growth mechanism became more pronounced and the strong cube texture developed.H.Y. Wan Z.J. Zhou C.P. Li G.F. Chen G.P. 3INVESTIGATION OF LASER BEAM WELDING PROCESS OF AZ61 MAGNESIUM-BASED ALLOY显示文摘Laser welding process of AZ61 magnesium alloys is investigated using a special CO2 laser experimental system. The effect of processing parameters including laser power, welding speed, and protection gas flow at the top and bottom is researched. The results show that an ideal weld bead can be formed by choosing the processing parameters properly. An optimized parameter range is obtained by a large number of experiments. Among them, laser power and welding speed are the two main parameters that determine the weld width and dimensions. The protect gas flow rate has a slight effect on the weld width, but it directly effects the surface color of the weld. The test results for typical welds indicate that the microhardness and tensile strength of the weld zone are better than that of the base metal. A fine-grained weld region has been observed and no obvious heat-affected zone is found. The weld zone mainly consists of small |á-Mg phase, (|á+ Al12Mg17), and other eutectic phases. The small grains and the eutectic phases in the joint are believed to play an important role in the increase of the strength of welds for AZ61 magnesium alloys.H.Y. Wang Z.J. 4Interface Structure of Ag/SnO_2 Nanocomposite Fabricated by Reactive Synthesis显示文摘The electric contact material of Ag/SnO2 composite was achieved by reactive synthesis method. The compositions and microstructure of Ag/SnO2 composite were analyzed and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and high-resolution electron microscopy (HRTEM). The structural feature was typical of the particle reinforced composites. The HRTEM images revealed that the observed Ag/SnO2 interface was absence of the precipitated phase and the lattice contrast across the interface was clear and sharp. The average particle size of SnO2 in composite was near 50 nm and it was well dispersed in spherical shape. The thermodynamic mechanism of reactive synthesis method was also discussed. The electronic density distribution analysis of the interface showed the charges of Ag atoms transmitted to O atoms and the conductivity of the material was also affected. No extra compounds expected such as AgxOy formed at interface. The distribution of electrons was of inequality near the interface which explained why the mechanical property of the metal/ceramic materials was improved but the machining property declined.Jingchao Chen Jing Feng B. 6REAL-TIME FLOOD FORECASTING MODELING OF 1D UNSTEADY CHANNEL FLOW AND KALMAN FILTER显示文摘WT5”BZ]The model of 1D unsteady channel flow combined with the Kalman filter for real-time channel flood forecasting was attempted in this study. The suitable upstream and downstream boundary conditions were suggested. The system equation was given by the linearization of the finite-difference equations of the mass conservation and momentum equations as well as the boundary conditions. In the Kalman filter updating model, because the number of measurement variable is less then that of state-space variables, the measurement error covariance matrix could be estimated in real time through the innovation sequence, and the system error covariance matrix needs to be estimated preliminarily. 7Clinical significance of VEGF, ER and AR expression in seminoma显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF),estrogen receptor(ER) and androgen receptor(AR) in the genesis and development of seminoma.Methods:The expression of VEGF,ER and AR was assayed by means of immuno-histochemical technique in 16 cases of seminoma and 10 cases of prostatic cancer (Pca).Results:The VEGF expression positive rate was significantly higher(P<0.05) in seminoma than in Pca,being 14/16(87.5%) and (4/10,40%),respectively.The AR expression positive rate was lower(P>0.05) in seminoma (9/16,56.2%) than in Pca(9/10,90%).The ER expression was negative in all the seminoma and Pca patients .Conclusion:In Seminoma,the expression of VEGF is significantly increased,which may play a role in the genesis and development of the neoplasm.J.Z. 8SIMULATION OF THE CHANGE OF SINTERING NECK BETWEEN TWO GRAINS IN TWO DIMENSIONS显示文摘A modified two-sphere model of sintering neck has been proposed, wherein three diffusion mechanisms including surface diffusion, grain-boundary diffusion and coupled surface and grain-boundary diffusion are assumed. Sintering neck is appropriately simulated using the modified model. The dynamic change of sintering neck is presented using the simulation. The variational shape of sintering neck in surface diffusion mechanism is continuous, whereas in grain-boundary diffusion mechanism, besides the variational shape of sintering neck being continuous, the center distance between the particles is also assumed to contract. 9MONTE CARLO SIMULATION STUDY OF SURFACE ELECTRONIC EXCITATION OF NOBLE METALS显示文摘In this work we present a numerical simulation of REELS-spectrum for noble metals, Au and Ag. The calculation is based on an electron-surface inelastic scattering model previously developed. The differential inelastic cross section is obtained from an inhomogeneous electron self-energy in the surface region, which provides full information of the dependency of the total and differential cross section on the kinetic energy, the distance from the surface and the moving direction of electrons, accommodating the formulation to the practical situation in surface electron spectroscopes. A novel Monte Carlo simulation code of electron interaction with a surface incorporating the local scattering mean free path has been developed. The comparison of the simulated REELS-spectra with the experimental measurements shows a remarkable agreement on the spectrum shape, which then confirms that the present model for electron-surface inelastic scattering is quite reasonable. The simulation has further shown the component to surface excitation due to the individual scattering processes along trajectory part, i.e., the loss in vacuum before reflection, the loss in vacuum after reflection and loss in metal events.H.M. 11A NOVEL METHOD FOR EVALUATING PLANE STRESS DYNAMIC FRACTURE TOUGHNESS OF 0Cr18Ni10Ti STAINLESS STEEL WELDED JOINTS显示文摘A novel method was proposed for the evaluation of Mode I dynamic fracture tough- ness(DFT)under plane stress and small scale yielding conditions for welded joints of stainless steel(SS),OCr18Ni10Ti.In a hybrid experimental-numerical approach, the experiments were carried out on the Hopkinson pressure bar apparatus,and three dimensional(3D)transient numerical simulations were performed by a finite element (FE)computer program.Macroscopical plastic deformation was observed at the load- ing and supporting points,on the specimens,after the test,which could cause a large error if omitted in the numerical simulation.Therefore,elastic-viscoplastic analysis was performed on the specimen by adopting the Johnson-Cook(J-C)model to describe the rate-dependent plastic flow behavior of the material.The material heterogeneity in the mismatched welded joints,induced by the difference in the base metal(BM)and the weld metal(WM)in yield stress,has also been taken into consideration by using the J-C models separately.Good accordance was obtained between the experimental and the computational results by the present approach.The relationship between plane stress DFT and loading rate was also obtained on the order of 10~6 MPa.m^(1/2).s^(-1).Z.J. 12CONSTITUTIVE RELATIONSHIP OF IN718 ALLOY FOR THERMOVISCOPLASTIC AND MICROSTRUCTURE EVOLUTION COUPLED ANALYSIS显示文摘The interaction between thermomechanical parameters and microstructure evolution is so intense that it must be considered during the finite element method (FEM) simulation of the hot plastic working process, for materials that are difficult to deform. Taking the microstructure evolution into account, a novel type of constitutive relationship has been put forward for the IN718 alloy. The microstructure evolution model was first established for the dominant microstructure evolution processes. Then the microstructure evolution models and the method to determine the local flow stress of the corresponding microstructure for current thermomechanical parameters and deformation history were presented. Once the local flow stresses of different structures and their volume contributions were defined, the apparent flow stress of the material could be determined as the weighted sum of the local flow stresses and volume contributions. To validate the proposed method, a thermoviscoplastics and microstructure evolution coupled analysis for a forging process of a critical IN718 disk forging was performed.
