| 3 | THE APPARENT VISCOSITY OF SEMI-SOLID AZ91D ALLOY AT STEADY STATE显示文摘The Rheological behavior of semi-solid AZ91D at steady state is studied using a Couettetype viscometer in the present paper. The results show that the apparent viscosity ofsemi-solid AZ91D at the steady state increases with the solid fraction increasing, andgoes up sharply when the solid fraction reaches a certain value, which is called criticalfraction. In addition, the apparent viscosity of semi-solid AZ91D at the steady statetakes on a distinct downtrend with the shearing rate increasing, which indicates astrong shear thinning property. In addition, the critical solid fraction becomes higherunder larger shearing rate, owing to the more globular shape of the solid particles.Based on the present experiment results, an empirical equation is built as that, relatingthe steady state apparent viscosity of semi-solid AZ91D with the solid fraction fs andshearing rate γ at the same time: ηapp=10. 74exp(6.95fs)γ-0.86. | Z.S. | 5 | PREPARATION STUDY OF SEMI-SOLID 60Si2Mn SPRING STEEL SLURRY显示文摘The nondendritic semi-solid slurry preparation of 60Si2Mn spring steel is studied in this paper. The experiments show that when stirred for 2 minutes under the test condition, the semi-solid slurry with 50%-60% fraction solid phase and spherical primary austenite in the size of 100-300μm can be obtained and is easy to be discharged from the little bottom hole of the stirring chamber. The more homogeneous temperature field and solute distribution of the 60Si2Mn spring steel melt appear because of the electromagnetic stirring, which restrains the formation of large primary austenitic dendrites and create a base to form spheroidized structure. The stronger temperature fluctuation in the melt with many rosette primary austenites caused by stirring and the remelting of the secondary arm roots in the same time are the most important reasons for deposition of spheroidized primary austenites. | W.M. | 6 | SURFACE ANALYSIS OF ALUMINUM ALLOYS INFLUENCED BY SULFATE- REDUCING BACTERIA显示文摘The morphology and chemical compositions of surface and corrosion phases for two aluminum alloys(7075 and 2024 ) in the aqueous mediums containing sulfate reducing bacteria(SRB) were studied by the methods of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive x ray analysis (EDXA). The results showed that serious pitting corrosion took place when aluminum alloys were exposed in the mediums containing SRB, whereas no pitting corrosion were found on the surfaces of aluminum alloys only exposed in blank mediums non containing SRB. It was demonstrated with EDXA that corrosion of aluminum alloys exposed in the solutions containing SRB, whereas the corrosion in the solution non containing microorganisms was attributed to the presence of chloride ions(Cl ). | X. | 7 | STUDY ON PROPERTIES OF PULSE ELECTRODEPOSITED RE-Ni-W-P-SiC COMPOSITE COATINGS显示文摘The effects of pulse frequency f and duty cycle r on the deposition rate,composition,morphology,and hardness of pulse electrodeposited RE(rare earth)-Ni-W-P-SiC composite coatings have been studied. The results indicate that pulse current can improve the deposition rate of RE-Ni-W-P-SiC composite coatings;W,P,and SiC contents in the coating decrease with the increase of pulse frequency and reach the lowest value at f=33Hz,whereas the RE content in the composite coatings increases with the increase of pulse frequency. SiC content decreases with the increase of duty cycle,W content reaches the lowest value,and P content reaches the highest value at r=0.4;pulse current and RE can lead to smaller size of the crystalline grains;however,the effects of different pulse frequency and duty cycle on the morphologies of RE-Ni-W-P-SiC composite coatings are not obvious. The hardness of RE-Ni-W-P-SiC composite coatings is the highest when the duty cycle is at 0.6 and 0.8 and pulse frequency is at 50Hz. | 9 | Clinical significance of VEGF, ER and AR expression in seminoma显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF),estrogen receptor(ER) and androgen receptor(AR) in the genesis and development of seminoma.Methods:The expression of VEGF,ER and AR was assayed by means of immuno-histochemical technique in 16 cases of seminoma and 10 cases of prostatic cancer (Pca).Results:The VEGF expression positive rate was significantly higher(P<0.05) in seminoma than in Pca,being 14/16(87.5%) and (4/10,40%),respectively.The AR expression positive rate was lower(P>0.05) in seminoma (9/16,56.2%) than in Pca(9/10,90%).The ER expression was negative in all the seminoma and Pca patients .Conclusion:In Seminoma,the expression of VEGF is significantly increased,which may play a role in the genesis and development of the neoplasm. | J.Z. | 11 | Characterization of high-pressure die-cast hypereutectic Al-Si alloys based on microstructural distribution and fracture morphology显示文摘The fracture behavior of high-pressure die-cast hypereutectic(HPDC) Al-Si alloys was investigated using a high-resolution laboratory CT and synchrotron X-ray tomography with a particular focus on the influence of HPDC microstructure. Results showed that microstructure of the alloy was mainly comprised of primary silicon particles(PSPs), Al dendrites, Cu-rich phases and pores. Most of the coarse PSPs, Cu-rich phases and pores were located in the center of the specimen. The rapid solidification of HPDC led to a heterogeneous microstructural feature. Elemental Cu was enriched in the frontiers of solid-liquid interface, causing the formation of large size dendritic arms. The pores were formed in the interdendrites which endured high stress intensity under high applied stress. Microcracks were originated from pores and further connected Cu-rich phases causing intergranular fracture. PSPs worked as obstacles causing piling-up dislocations in the phase interface. In the regions where large size of PSPs enriched in, PSPs ruptured rather than debonded from matrix, indicating transgranular fractures of PSPs. | 12 | RELATIONSHIP AMONG EVAPORATION FLUX OF GROUNDWATER, DEPTH OF WATER TABLE AND NEGATIVE PRESSURE HEAD IN BARE SOIL显示文摘Evaporation of ground water is a part of moisture circulation in the field. And it is a main natural form in which water transmits from the ground water to the soil water and atmosphere water. According to the simulated experiments, we study the relationship among the evaporation, depth of groundwater table and negative pressure. By theoretical analysis of the experimental results, the main conclusions are drawn as follows. There are two abrupt points in every Q H curve. The locations of the abrupt points are separately in step with the height of top of the capillary fringe and the height of maximal capillary rise in the soil section. When the depth of ground water table H is small, the evaporation flux of ground water is large. While the depth of water table exceeds the maximal capillary rise of media in vadose zone, the capillary rise breaks up and evaporation flux of groundwater is small. The water content ratio in ground surface tends to be zero and the surface of soil tends to be drought. These conclusions show that the maximal capillary rise of media in vadose zone is an important value in regulating rational depth of ground water to reduce the evaporation of ground water and to increase effective quantity of water resources. In the meantime, these conclusions are of important theoretical and practical significance to reduce the evaporation of ground water, to prevent and cure the salinization of soil, and to make full use of and protect water resources in the northern plains in China. | Qian, J.Z. | 20 | FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF VISCOUS FLOW PAST A ROTATING SPHERE显示文摘Viscous flow past a rotating sphere with a constant rotating speed about an axis aligned with the free stream was investigated numerically by solving the three dimensional Navier Stokes equations using the finite element method. To elucidate the character of this flow in the near wake, the flow structures at different Reynolds numbers and rotating speeds are examined. The axisymmetric and non axisymmetric flow structures were observed at Re=200 and 250, respectively, which rotate as a whole around the rotating axis steadily. At Re=300, the vortex shedding appears and the wake becomes more complicated. At low rotating speeds, the flow is dominated by the vortex shedding at higher Reynolds numbers. As the rotating speed increases, the rotating effect gets stronger and the interaction between the rotating action and the vortex shedding results a swirling vortex pattern in the near wake of the sphere. | Wang, Y.X.
