| 1 | 华夏南部可能存在Grenville期造山作用:来自基底变质岩中锆石U-Pb定年及Lu-Hf同位素信息显示文摘对华夏地块南部粤中增城和赣南鹤仔3个基底变质岩的地球化学和碎屑锆石年代学研究表明,它们的原岩都是形成于晚新元古代的沉积岩.3个变质沉积岩都主要由新元古代早期(1.0~0.9Ga)的碎屑物质组成,并混有少量中元古代和新元古代中晚期(0.8~0.6Ga)的碎屑物,说明沉积物主要来源于一个遭受过Gondwana大陆聚合事件影响的Grenville期造山带.碎屑锆石的Hf同位素成分显示这些Grenville期锆石可能是造山旋回早期形成的弧与古老大陆碰撞产生的岩浆结晶的.结合华夏地块其他地区~1.0Ga年龄锆石的分布及形态学特征,本文认为华夏地块的南缘很可能曾经存在或者极其靠近一个Grenville期的造山带.而这期造山作用的时代与东印度以及东南极的Grenville造山带一致,且同样受到Gondwana大陆聚合事件的影响.因此,从Rodinia超大陆裂解到Gondwana超大陆聚合期间,华南地块很可能位于澳大利亚西部而与东印度和东南极相邻. | 王丽娟 于津海 O’Reilly S.Y. | 2 | Grenvillian orogeny in the Southern Cathaysia Block:Constraints from U-Pb ages and Lu-Hf isotopes in zircon from metamorphic basement显示文摘Metamorphic basement rocks in the Cathaysia Block are composed mainly of meta-sediments with different ages. New zircon U-Pb geochronological results from the meta-sedimentary rocks exposed in the Zengcheng and Hezi areas, southern Cathaysia Block, show that they consist dominantly of early Neoproterozoic (1.0―0.9 Ga) materials with minor Paleo- to Mesoproterozoic and late Neoproterozoic (0.8―0.6 Ga) components, suggesting that the detritus mostly come from a Grenvillian orogen. The youngest detrital zircon ages place a constraint on the deposition time of these sediments in Late Neoproterozoic. Zircon Hf isotopic compositions indicate that the Grenvillian zircons were derived from the reworking of Mesoproterozoic arc magmatic rocks and Paleoproterozoic continental crust, implying an arc-continent collisional setting. Single-peak age spectra and the presence of abundant euhedral Grenvillian zircons suggest that the sedimentary provenance is not far away from the sample location. Thus, the Grenvillian orogen probably preexisted along the southern margin of the Cathaysia Block, or very close to the south. Similarity in the ages of Grenvillian orogeny and the influence of the assembly of Gondwana in South China with India and East Antarctic are discussed, with suggestion that South China was more likely linked with the India-East Antarctica continents in Early Neoproterozoic rather than between western Laurentia and eastern Australia. | WANG LiJuan YU JinHai S.Y. | 4 | Sleep deprivation increase the expression of inducible heat shock protein 70 in rat gastric mucosa显示文摘AIM To .investigate if sleep deprivation is able to increase the expression of inducible heat shock protein 70 in gastric mucosa and its possible role in mucosal defense.METHODS Rats for sleep disruption were placed inside a computerized rotating drum, gastric mucosa was taken from rats with 1, 3 and 7 d sleep deprivation. RT-PCR,immunohistochemistry and Western blotting were used to determine the expression of heat shock protein 70.Ethanol (500 mL@ L 1, I.g.) was used to induce gastric muceea damage.RESULTS RT-PCR, Western blotting and immunostaining confirmed that the sleep deprivation as a stress resulted in significantly greater expression of inducible heat shock protein 70 in gastric mucosa of rats. After the 500mL@ L-1 ethanol challenge, the ulcer area found in the rats with 7 d sleep deprivation (19.15 ± 4.2) mm2 was significantly lower (P<0.01) than the corresponding control (53.7 ± 8.1) mm2.CONCLUSION Sleep deprivation as a stress, in addition to lowering the gastric mucosal barrier, is able to stimulate the expression of inducible heat shock protein 70 in gastric mucosa of rats, the heat shock protein 70 may play an important role in gastric mucosal protection. | Xi-Zhong Shen Marcel W.L. | 5 | Spectrum of NSD1 gene mutations in southern Chinese patients with Sotos syndrome显示文摘Background Sotos syndrome is an overgrowth syndrome with characteristic facial gestalt and mental retardation of variable severity. Haploinsufficiency of the NSD1 gene has been implicated as the major cause of Sotos syndrome, with a predominance of microdeletions reported in Japanese patients. This study was conducted to investigate into the spectrum of NSD1 gene mutations in southern Chinese patients with Sotos syndrome. Methods Thirty-six Chinese patients with Sotos syndrome and two patients with Weaver syndrome were subject to molecular testing. Results NSD1 gene mutations were detected in 26 (72%) Sotos patients. Microdeletion was found in only 3 patients, while the other 23 had point mutations (6 frameshift, 8 nonsense, 2 spice site, and 7 missense). Of these, 19 mutations were never reported. NSD1 gene mutations were not found in the two patients with Weaver syndrome. Conclusions Most cases of Sotos syndrome are caused by NSD1 gene defects, but the spectrum of mutations is different from that of Japanese patients. Genotype-phenotype correlation showed that patients with microdeletions might be more prone to congenital heart disease but less likely to have somatic overgrowth. | 6 | Mass-balance ecosystem model of the East China Sea显示文摘Using the Ecopath mass-balance trophodynamic model,this paper analyzed the trophic levels,flows,food web structure and ecosystem maturity of the East China Sea,and identified ecologically important functional groups in the ecosystem.The model is based on fishery resource surveys of the East China Sea in 2000,studies on diet composition and global databases such as FishBase and the Sea Around Us Project Database.The results showed that trophic levels of the functional groups are between 2.86 and 4.37,with an average of 3.32.Anchocy(Engraulis japonicus),small fishes and benthic crustaceans such as shrimps and crabs are important groups in terms of the trophic structure and flow dynamics in the East China Sea.Energy flows of most groups are between specific trophic levels,except file fish(Thamnaconus spp.),pomfret(Pampus spp.) and cephalopods.Trophic transfer efficiency of levels Ⅱ,Ⅲ,IV and more than V are 11.8%,21.1%,17.4% and 22.1-22.5%,respectively.Effects of fishery-the largest ‘consumer’ of the ecosystemare much stronger than those exerted by biological groups in the system.The model suggests that the current fishery can further reduce the complexity of the ecosystem.Evaluations of the system indices suggest that maturity of the ecosystem is low.The conclusion of this model indicates that it was the overfishing that caused the ecosystem of the East China Sea declined,which should be taken into account as a critical reference for fisheries management in the future. | Jiahua Cheng William W.L. | 7 | Effect of a High Magnetic Field on the Shape of the γ' Precipitates in Cast Nickel-based Superalloy K52显示文摘The shape change of the γ' precipitates of cast Ni-based superalloy K52 after aging treatment under a high magnetic field was investigated. The results show that duplex γ' precipitates are present in the γ' matrix after aging treatment with or without the magnetic field. One is the coarse particles with average size of 500 nm; the other is fine spherical γ' precipitates with average of 100 nm in diameter. The application of a 10T magnetic field only results in the shape of the coarse γ' particles changing from spherical to cuboidal when the alloys subjected to the same heat treatments. This shape change was mainly discussed based on the strain energy increase caused by the difference in magnetostriction between the γ' matrix and γ' precipitates. The fine γ' particles still keep spherical. Further TEM observations shows that a number of γ' particles in nano-scale precipitate in the coarse γ' particles in the specimens treated without the magnetic field. | 13 | MECHANISM ANALYSIS OF THICKNESS EFFECT ON MIXED MODE Ⅰ/Ⅱ FRACTURE OF LC4-CS ALUMINUM ALLOY显示文摘Mixed mode I//II fracture experiments of LC4-CS aluminum alloy were conducted by using tension-shear specimens with thicknesses of 2, 4, 8 and 14mm. Fracture mechanisms of thickness effect on mixed mode I//II fracture were first examined from fracture surface morphology to correlate with the macroscopic fracture behavior and stress state. It is found that specimen thickness has a strong influence on mixed mode fracture. As thickness varies from thin to thick the macroscopic fracture surfaces appear the characteristics of plane stress state (2mm, 4mm-thick specimen), three-dimensional stress state (8ram-thick specimens), and plane strain state (14mm-thick specimens), respectively. The specimens of all kinds of thicknesses are typical of tensile type failure under mode I loading condition and shear type failure under mode II loading condition. Two distinct features coexist on the fracture surfaces under mixed mode loading conditions, and the corresponding proportion varies with loading mixity. Void-growth processes are the failure mechanism in both predominately tensile and shear-type fractures. The size and depth of dimples on the fracture surface vary greatly with thickness. Archimedes method using water immersion technique is used to measure the sintering performances of sam- ples. The static thermal corrosion rates of samples are measured by weight loss. SEM is em- ployed for the observation of material microstructure, and phase structure of the sample surface after corrosion is determined by XRD. The experimental results indicate that a suitable MnO2 additive content is 2%, while the sintering performance is the best, and the static thermal corro- sion rate is the lowest. Because of MnO2 dopant enriching at crystal boundary, the corrosion reaction of molten salt to crystal grain creates Mn2AlO4 phase, which is denser than NiFe2O4 phase, and prevents the cryolite molten salt to penetrate into the inert anode, thus reducing the corrosion. | W.L.
