| 1 | 虚拟耳镜检查术前评价慢性化脓性中耳炎病人的听骨链是否有价值?HRCT和虚拟耳镜检查与外科手术所见的对比显示文摘本研究的目的是评价虚拟耳镜检查及听小骨3D重建对慢性化脓性中耳炎病人听小骨术前评价中的作用。对33例伴有传导性耳聋(气-骨差距〉35dB)的慢性化脓性中耳炎病人进行前瞻性研究。所有病人均行多层螺旋CT横断面检查。利用横断面CT数据进行多平面2D重组、虚拟耳镜检查(VO)及3D重组。2名放射科医师根据3点评分系统分别对这两种技术所得影像中听骨链的不同部分进行判读,并与外科所见进行对照。这两种成像技术对听骨较大部分结构的评价具有相似的准确性。 | A.K. | 2 | Magnetotelluric investigation of lithospheric electrical structure beneath the Dharwar Craton in south India:Evidence for mantle suture and plume-continental interaction显示文摘Broad-band and long period magnetotelluric measurements made at 63 locations along -500 km long Chikmagalur-Kavali profile,that cut across the Dharwar craton (DC) and Eastern Ghat Mobile Belt (EGMB) in south India,is modelled to examine the lithosphere architecture of the cratonic domain and define tectonic boundaries.The 2-D resistivity model shows moderately conductive features that intersperse a highly resistive background of crystalline rocks and spatially connect to the exposed schist belts or granitic intrusions in the DC.These features are therefore interpreted as images of fossil pathways of the volcanic emplacements associated with the greenstone belt and granite suite formation exposed in the region.A near vertical conductive feature in the upper mantle under the Chitradurga Shear Zone represents the Archean suture between the western and eastern blocks of DC.Although thick (-200 km) cratonic (highly resistive) lithosphere is preserved,significant part of the cratonic lithosphere below the western DC is modified due to plume-continental lithosphere interactions during the CretaceouseTertiary period.A west-verging moderately conductive feature imaged beneath EGMB lithosphere is interpreted as the remnant of the Proterozoic collision process between the Indian land mass and East Antarctica.Thin (-120 km) lithosphere is seen below the EGMB,which form the exterior margin of the India shield subsequent to its separation from East Antarctica through rifting and opening of the Indian Ocean in the Cretaceous. | D. | 3 | Effect of Alstonia scholaris bark extract on testicular function of Wistar rats显示文摘Aim:To evaluate the antifertility effect of Alstonia scholaris bark extract in male rats.Methods:In male Wistar rats Alstonia scholaris bark extract was given by oral route at a dose of 200mg/day for60days,The fertility and testicular function were assessed by mating tests,sperm motility,sperm concentration,biochemical indices and testicular cell population dynamics.Results:Oral feeding with the extract at a dose of 200mg/day for the period of 60days did not cause body weight loss,while the weights of testes,epididymides,seminal vesicle and ventral prostate were significantly reduced.The production of step-19 spermatids was reduced by 79.6%in treated rats.The popu-lation of preleptotene and pachytene spermatocytes were decrased by61.9%and60.1%,respectively.Spematogo-nia and Sertoli cell population were also affected.The seminiferous tubule and Leydig cell nuclear area were reduced significantly(P<0.01)when compared to the controls..Reduced sperm count and motility yesulted in a total supprs-sion of fertility.A significant fall in the protein and sialic acid content of the testes,epididymides,seminal vesicle and ventral prostate as well as glycogen content of testes were also noticed.The fructose content in the seminal vesicle was lowered whereas the testicular cholesterol was elevated as compared with the controls.The following com-pounds were obtained from the extract with chromatographic separation over Si-gel column;α-amyrin,β-amyrin,lupiol acetate,venenative,rhazine and yohimbine,Conclusion:At the dose level employed,Alstonia scholaris bark extract has a significant antifertility effect in male rast;the primary site of action may be post meiotic germ cells(Step19spermatids). | R. | 11 | 酒糟鼻与抑郁症共病:国家流动医疗保险调研和国家医院流动医疗状况调研的一项分析(门诊数据由美国国家健康统计中心收集1995—2002年资料)显示文摘Background: Psychogenic factors have been considered to be important in the exacerbation and possibly the onset of rosacea. However, there are very few studies that have reported conclusive findings. Objectives: To examine the association between rosacea and major depressive disease, a common and usually treatable psychiatric disorder. Methods: Data from 1995 to 2002, collected by the National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey and the outpatient component of the National Hospital Ambulatory Care Survey, which are both nationally representative surveys of healthcare visits in the U.S.A., were studied. The basic sampling unit in both surveys is the patient visit or encounter. A ‘ Rosacea’ variable was created by grouping all rosacea (ICD- 9-CM code 695.3) visits and a ‘ Depressi-on’ variable was created by grouping the patient visits related to major depressive disorder (ICD- 9-CM codes 296.2, 296.3 and 311). As alcohol abuse has been implicated in rosacea, and alcohol can confound symptoms of depression, an ‘ Alcohol’ variable was created by grouping all ICD- 9-CM codes related to alcohol dependence and abuse (codes 303, 303.0, 303.9 and 305.0). All analyses were conducted using the Complex Samples module of SPSS version 13, to account for the multistage probability sampling design used to collect the data. Results: The weighted data were representative of over 608 million dermatology visits between 1995 and 2002. Logistic regression analysis using ‘ Rosacea’ as the dependent variable and age, sex, ‘ Alcohol’ and ‘ Depression’ as independent variables revealed that the odds ratio for depressive disease in the rosacea group was 4.81 (95% confidence interval 1.39- 16.62). The association between ‘ Alcohol’ and ‘ Rosacea’ was not significant. Conclusions: The comorbidity between major depressive disease and rosacea may have important clinical implications.
