| 1 | Osteonecrosis of the femoral head: An update in year 2012显示文摘Osteonecrosis is a phenomenon involving disruption to the vascular supply to the femoral head, resulting in articular surface collapse and eventual osteoarthritis. Although alcoholism, steroid use, and hip trauma remain the most common causes, several other etiologies for osteonecrosis have been identified. Basic science research utilizing animal models and stem cell applications continue to further elucidate the pathophysiology of osteonecrosis and promise novel treatment options in the future. Clinical studies evaluating modern joint-sparing procedures have demonstrated significant improvements in outcomes, but hip arthroplasty is still the most common procedure performed in these affected younger adults. | 4 | 纳米技术和可持续发展混凝土:独特的新兴组合(英文)显示文摘在混凝土中加入少量的、至少在一个维度内为纳米尺度(<100 nm)的材料,就可能实现某种性能的提升,达到普通材料无法实现的效果。纳米二氧化硅、纳米碳酸钙、纳米碳管和纤维在改进混凝土性能方面受到越来越多的关注。涂料中二氧化钛纳米粒子可以捕获和分解有机和无机污染物,并使外露的混凝土表面实现自清洁。纳米技术和纳米材料可以使钢筋抗腐蚀能力增强。总的来讲,纳米技术能够使混凝土结构的使用周期中实现包括物质和能量消耗的最小化,同时减少建筑物对环境的负面影响,最终实现建筑物使用中的舒适性和友好性。尽管纳米材料和纳米技术在混凝土结构中有较好的前景,但目前对此类新型材料的对混凝土长期性能了解较少,特别是对其毒性方面的了解更少。随着公众对建筑物各方面安全性越来越关注,需要制定相应的毒性测试分析方法,建立更安全的生产工艺,并在混凝土结构中使用更环保的纳米材料。对纳米技术应用于建筑工业中是否能够真正意义上实现可持续发展进行了综述。 | Anjan K CHATTERJEE | 2015 | 硅酸盐学报2015,43,10: | 10 |

| 6 | Identification of parameter to assess cracking resistance of asphalt mixtures subjected to aging and moisture conditioning显示文摘This study comprehensively evaluated different parameters based on tensile strength testing to assess the cracking resistance of asphalt mixtures subjected to aging and moisture conditioning.For this purpose,two sources of aggregates were selected to produce hot and warm mix asphalt mixtures.Asphalt mixtures were subjected to short term and long term aging,three levels of moisture conditioning(freeze thaw cycles),and tested at two temperatures(15℃and 25℃).The load-displacement data was used to determine the fracture work density,fracture energy,toughness index,cracking resistance index,cracking tolerance index,and rate dependent cracking index.It was noticed that moisture conditioning increased the variability of the different parameters.The cracking tolerance index and rate dependent cracking index parameter had a much higher coefficient of variation(Co V)with a maximum value close to 50%.Indirect tensile strength,fracture energy,and fracture work density appropriately captured the effect of moisture on cracking resistance of mixtures.The cracking resistance index,cracking tolerance index,and rate dependent cracking index increased with an increase in the moisture conditioning level.The Statistical analysis showed that tensile strength,fracture work density,and fracture energy were significantly influenced by different aging and moisture conditions evaluated.Fracture energy showed better association with fatigue life of asphalt mixtures subjected to three freeze-thaw cycles compared to tensile strength.Further,the fatigue life prediction models showed that both indirect tensile strength and fracture energy significantly influence the fatigue life of asphalt mixtures subjected to aging and moisture conditioning. | Bhaskar Pratim Das Anjan Kumar Siddagangaiah | 2022 | Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2022,9,2: | 3 |
| 7 | Endosymbiotic pathogen-inhibitory gut bacteria in three Indian Major Carps under polyculture system: A step toward making a probiotics consortium显示文摘The gastrointestinal(GI)microbiome in fish plays significant roles in health and disease resistance.This investigation was accomplished to enumerate,characterize and identify the potential probiotic bacteria from three Indian Major Carps(IMCs),viz.,rohu(Labeo rohita),catla(Catla catla)and mrigal(Cirrhinus mrigala)using culture dependent methods.Altogether,105 pathogen-inhibitory bacteria(out of 1216 isolates)were detected from three IMCs by double layer assay.16S rRNA partial gene sequence analyses and BLAST search in the NCBI GenBank unveiled that 94.29%of the pathogen inhibitory bacteria were bacilli(99 strains)and Bacillus licheniformis by far the most common(28%).The primarily selected 27 pathogen-inhibitory strains(cumulative inhibition score≥13)produced extracellular enzymes,while 15 of them produced all the six exo-enzymes studied(amylase,protease,lipase,cellulase,phytase and xylanase).Gut stability of the strains became apparent by their ability to grow in fish mucus and tolerance to diluted bile-juice.Finally,14 strains were noticed asγ-hemolytic and susceptible to the commonly used antibiotics.Further,intra-peritoneal injection withγ-hemolytic strains did not induce any pathological signs or mortalities in fish,and thus were considered as safe.These 14γ-hemolytic isolates were represented by the genus Bacillus(13)and Stenotrophomonas(1),which might form probiotic consortia for prospective use in carp culture. | Koushik Ghosh Anjan Mukherjee Dipanjan Dutta Sudeshna Banerjee Eva Marie Breines Ellinor Hareide Einar Ringø | 2021 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2021,6,2: | 2 |
