1MICROSTRUCTURE AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF NOVEL 718 SUPERALLOY显示文摘Recently, a novel 718 superalloy with remarkable structural stability at 680℃ has been designed and fabricated by CISRI (Central Iron and Steel Research Institute) etc. Phase identification of novel 718 alloy under the above-mentioned heat-treatment condition was performed using optical microscopy (OM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Results show that the novel 718 alloy has outstanding structural stability at 680℃. The novel 718 alloy possess excellent structural stability and good mechanical properties, which is attributed to ?’-phase strengthening and also to the specific sandwich structure of the γ’ + γ’’ strengthening phase.J.H. 2EFFECT OF OVERLAPPING TREATMENT ON MICROSTRUCTURE OF LASER-CLAD WC/Ni60A COMPOSITE COATING显示文摘The effect of overlapping treatment on microstructure of laser clad WC/Ni60A composite coating was studied with XRD, SEM, TEM and SAED etc. The results show that during the overlapping treatment the existence of the residual heat and edge angle effect on the substrate has changed the composition and microstructure of the coating by raising the fusion temperature and increasing the dilution degree of the coating.C.Z. 4RESEARCH ON THE FORMATION MECHANISM OF INTERNAL CRACK IN THE CONTINUOUS CASTING SLAB显示文摘In view of the periodic bending deformation of solid-liquid interface in the solidification process for continuous casting slab, the variation of temperature gradient and dendritic spacing in the front edge of the solid-liquid interface, and the nucleation and propagation process of crack were studied. It is shown that the bending deformation of the interface results in the temperature field change in the front edge of solid-liquid interface, and the occurrence of temperature gradient along drawing direction results in the growth of secondary dendrites. The initial crack formed during the middle and final stage of solidification may extend to the surface of the casting slab and become an internal crack. 5Efficient statistical analysis method of power/ground (P/G) network显示文摘In this paper,we propose an incremental statistical analysis method with complexity reduction as a pre-process for on-chip power/ ground (P/G) networks. The new method exploits locality of P/G network analyses and aims at P/G networks with a large number of strongly connected subcircuits (called strong connects) such as trees and chains. The method consists of three steps. First it compresses P/ G circuits by removing strong connects. As a result,current variations (CVs) of nodes in strong connects are transferred to some remain-ing nodes. Then based on the locality of power grid voltage responses to its current inputs,it effciently calculates the correlative resistor (CR) matrix in a local way to directly compute the voltage variations by using small parts of the remaining circuit. Last it statistically recovers voltage variations of the suppressed nodes inside strong connects. This new method for statistically compressing and expanding strong connects in terms of current or voltage variations in a closed form is very effcient owning to its property of incremental analysis. Experimental results demonstrate that the method can effciently compute low-bounds of voltage variations for P/G networks and it has two or three orders of magnitudes speedup over the traditional Monte-Carlo-based simulation method,with only 2.0% accuracy loss.Zuying Luo Sheldon X.D. 6Influence of Re on the Properties of a NiCoCrAlY Coating Alloy显示文摘MCrAlY can serve as stand-alone overlay coatings or bond coats in thermal barrier coating systems, and its properties play a vital role in determining the performance of these coating systems. In order to further understand the behavior of MCrAlY coatings, several NiCoCrAlY model alloys with different levels of Re (0.3 wt%, 6 wt%, and 9 wt%) were investigated. Microstructural observation showed the addition of Re promoted the precipitation of Cr-rich phases, such as α-Cr and σ. The presence of α-Cr lowered the coecient of thermal expansion (CTE) of the coating alloys, which could reduce the CTE mismatch at the scale-metal interface. The solid solution strengthening effect of Re is responsible for an increase in Rockwell hardness of the coating alloys. But the isothermal oxidation resistance at 1100oC was deteriorated due to the precipitation of brittle α-Cr phase, a phase of inferior oxidation resistance compared with β-NiAl and γ-Ni.J.J. Liang H. 7Influence of Co Content on Raman and Photoluminescence Spectra of Co Doped ZnO Nanowires显示文摘Co doped ZnO nanowires with different Co contents have been fabricated by a chemical vapor deposition method. X-ray diffraction results show that all the samples are of single phase and crystallize in wurtzite ZnO structure. The lattice parameter a increases with increasing Co content, while the parameter c has no obvious change with increasing Co. Raman spectra show that the nonpolar E2(High) mode becomes broad and weak with the doping of Co, which indicates that the incorporation of Co causes structural disorder in the crystalline columnar ZnO lattice. The photoluminescence spectra exhibit that the position of the ultraviolet emission shifts to short wavelength and the intensity decreases with increasing Co. The green emission is affected by two contrary factors. It is increased by the introduced defects, but suppressed by the interaction between Co doping and native defects and the later affects it more significantly.Y.Q. Chang P.W. Wang S.L. Ni Y. Long X.D. 8Morphology Control and Optical Absorption Properties of Ag Nanoparticles by Ion Implantation显示文摘Ion implantation is a powerful method for fabricating nanoparticles in dielectric.For the actual application of nanoparticle composites,a careful control of nanoparticles has to be achieved.In this letter,the size,distribution and morphology of Ag nanoparticles are controlled by controlling the ion current density,ion implantation sequence and ion irradiation dose.Single layer Ag nanoparticles are formed by Ag+ion implantation at current density of 2.5μA/cm2.By Ag and Cu ions sequential implantation,the size of single layer Ag nanoparticles increases.While,by Cu and Ag ions sequential implantation,uniform Ag nanoparticles with wide distribution are formed.The morphology of Ag nanoparticles changes to hollow and sandwiched nanoparticles by Cu+ion irradiation to doses of 3×1016 and 5×1016 ions/cm2.The optical absorption properties of Ag nanoparticles are also tailored by these ways.G.X. 10Growth and Cycles in China's Unbalanced Development: Resource Misallocation, Debt Overha ng, Economic Inequality, and the Importance of Structural Reforms显示文摘The recent China's growth slowdown is both cyclical and secular, driven by external and internal factors. In this article, I highlight several key internal factors that have hindered China's growth in recent years. These include worsening misallocation of resources and declining growth of total factor productivity, plus rising household income inequality and debt overhang in the face of tightened liquidity constraint. All of these show the urgency for deepening reforms in China's key macroeconomic landscapes in order to remove institutional barriers and distortions deep-rooted in the nation's economic and financial structure, and to correct fundamental imperfections of its socialeconomic system. 1 argue that such refonns are of critical importance for China's pursuit of healthy and sustainable growth and of balanced and adequate development going forward.Kevin X.D. 11Tackle China's Economic Complexities by Deepening Reform and Opening Up: Macroeconomic Outlook, Policy Simulations, and Reform Implementation—A Summary of the Annual SUFE Macroeconomic Report (2018-2019)显示文摘Faced with complicated external and internal challenges, China's economy continues to see sluggish growth in 2018. Rapid accumulation of household debts, exacerbation in income inequality, tightened real sector liquidity, escalated trade tensions with the US, and weakened external demand pose key problems in China's macroeconomic landscape. The status quo is exacerbated by soaring uncertainty and weakening confidence in the face of persistent resource misallocations and institutional distortions, which cast more shadow on the already dampened consumer sentiment, sluggish private investment growth, and fallen foreign reserves. This summary report highlights the urgency of deeper structural reforms for tackling the various internal and external problems. Based on the IAR-CMM model, with both cyclical and secular factors taken into consideration, our baseline forecast of real GDP growth rate is 6.4%(6.1% using more reliable instead of the official data) in 2019. Alternative scenario analyses and policy simulations are conducted to assess the consequences of possible downside risks and the corresponding policy options needed to ensure the assumed growth targets. These analyses lead us to conclude that comprehensively deepening reform and opening up, which should be both rule-of-law based and market-oriented, with well-designed and well-conceived strategies that properly weigh short-, medium-, and long-term benefits and costs, should continue to be set as the guidance for China's transformation into a phase with sustainable and high-quality growth.Kevin X.D. 17EFFECTS OF Zn CONCENTRATION ON WETTABILITY OF Sn-Zn ALLOY ON Cu AND ON THE INTERFACIAL MICROSTRUCTURE BETWEEN Sn-Zn ALLOY AND Cu显示文摘The potential of using a hypoeutectic, instead of eutectic, Sn-Zn alloy as a lead-free solder has been discussed. The nonequilibrium melting behaviors of a series of Sn-Zn alloys were examined by differential thermal analysis. It was found that at a heating rate of 5℃ / min, Sn-6.5Zn exhibited no melting range. Dipping and spreading tests were carried out to characterize the wettability of Sn-Zn alloys on Cu. Both tests exhibited that Sn-6.5Zn has significantly better wettability on Cu than Sn-9Zn. The reaction layers formed during the spreading tests were examined. When the Zn concentration fell between 2.5wt%-9wt%, two reaction layers were formed at the interface, a thick and flat Cu5Zn8 adjacent to Cu and a thin and irregular Cu-Zn-Sn layer adjacent to the alloy. Only a Cu6Sn5 layer was formed when the Zn concentration decreased to 0.5wt%.
