1LASER LIFT-OFF OF GaN THIN FILMS FROM SAPPHIRE SUBSTRATES显示文摘Gallium Nitride film was successfully separated from sapphire substrate by laser radiation. The absorption of the 248nm radiation by the GaN at the interface results in rapid thermal decomposition of the interfacial layer, yielding metallic Ga and N2 gas. The substrate can be easily removed by heating above the Ga melting point (29℃). X-ray diffraction, atomic force microscopy and Photoluminescence of CaN before and after lift-off process have been performed, which demonstrated that the separation and transfer process do not alter the structural quality of the GaN films. 2FE SIMULATION OF CENTER CRACK OCCURRENCE IN TUBE ROUNDS DURING TWO-ROLL ROTARY ROLLING PROCESS显示文摘With the aid of FE (finite element) code MSC.Superform 2005, 2-D coupled thermo-mechanical simulation of center-crack occurrence in round billet during 2-roll rotary rolling process was presented using Oyane ductile fracture criteria. A simple modeling is put forward based on the spiral motion of the workpiece as an essential characteristic in movement. The influence of the feed angle and the entry cone angle of the main roll on the process was taken into account in the modeling. The soundness for simplifying the 3-D rotary rolling into a 2-D problem was discussed. By adopting the parameters of Diescher piercer in 140mm mandrel mill of Bao Steel, the distribution and development of strain / stress were analyzed, and the eigen value of ductile fracture as well. The critical percentage of diameter reduction was obtained from the simulation. The result showed a good agreement with the experimental value, and therefore was of widely guiding significance to the practical process for rationally formulating the deformation parameters of steel tube piercing.S.Z. 3Superelasticity and Tunable Thermal Expansion across a Wide Temperature Range显示文摘Materials that undergo a reversible change of crystal structure through martensitic transformation(MT)possess unusual functionalities including shape memory, superelasticity, and low/negative thermal expansion. These properties have many advanced applications, such as actuators, sensors, and energy conversion, but are limited typically in a narrow temperature range of tens of Kelvin. Here we report that, by creating a nano-scale concentration modulation via phase separation, the MT can be rendered continuous by an in-situ elastic confinement mechanism. Through a model titanium alloy, we demonstrate that the elastically confined continuous MT has unprecedented properties, such as superelasticity from below 4.2 K to 500 K, fully tunable and stable thermal expansion, from positive, through zero, to negative, from below 4.2 K to 573 K, and high strength-to-modulus ratio across a wide temperature range.The elastic tuning on the MT, together with a significant extension of the crystal stability limit, provides new opportunities to explore advanced materials.Y.L. 5回转筒颗粒表面流的分子动力学模拟和连续理论显示文摘在考虑颗粒非弹性接触、滑动摩擦和滚动摩擦基础上发展了分子动力学模拟的算法,实现了中高速(Fr=0.1~0.2)回转筒内颗粒流的离散模拟.回转筒内颗粒流由表面活性层和下部柱塞流区组成,颗粒在活性层的停留时间约为柱塞流区的1/3~1/2,对称线上活性层和柱塞流区的厚度比为0.57~0.61,因而推断颗粒流动处于Rolling-Cascading过渡模式.对称线上MD模拟的速度分布与正电子放射性测量实验结果十分吻合.在模拟和实验结果基础上发展了连续理论:柱塞流区内颗粒运动并非完全随着筒壁刚体转动,而是存在着塑性蠕变,这种速度变化过程符合指数函数规律;而活性层内颗粒流动则符合简单的Couette切变流动分布.最后探讨了颗粒温度和颗粒相对浓度分布的内在机理.李水清 姚强 陈冰 张宣 Ding Y.D. 2006科学通报2006,51,19:3

7<110> Fiber Texture Evolution of Ferrite Wires during Drawn-torsion and Drawn-annealing-torsion Process显示文摘In this paper, the texture and microstructure evolution of drawn-torsion and drawn-annealing-torsion ferrite wires are studied by electron back scattering diffraction (EBSD) in order to investigate the special torsion texture evolution. Compared to the simulation results, the stable texture components {110}< 110 > and {110}<112> in both drawn-torsion and drawn-annealing-torsion wires display different evolution processes. The texture of the drawn-annealing-torsion wire fits to the Taylor model. A special texture evolution is found in drawn-torsion wires, related to the grain shape, and the heterogeneous deformation.
