| 1 | Etiology and therapeutic management of neonatal jaundice in Iran:a systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘Background Jaundice is a life-threatening disorder in the neonates.In the present study,we aimed to assess systematically available evidence on causes and management of jaundice in Iranian newborn patients.Methods We searched the databases of PubMed,Web of Sciences,Scopus and Google Scholar for English articles published since inception until May 2019.A search was also done for Persian articles in Magiran and Scientific Information Database.Studies were evaluated based on predefined criteria by two reviewers.Data analysis was performed by STATA software.Results A total of 33 articles were finally included.The overall pooled prevalence of causes of jaundice among Iranian neonates was as follows:ABO blood groups incompatibility,16.9%[95%confidence interval(CI)10.9-22.8];Rh blood group incompatibility,4%(95%CI 2.5-5.5);ABO and Rh blood groups incompatibility,3.6%(95%CI 0-7.7);glucose6-phosphate dehydrogenase(G6PD)deficiency,6.3%(95%CI 5.1-7.5);infection,6.6%(95%CI 5.2-8.1);hypothyroidism,4.2%(95%CI 0.1-8.3);infant of diabetic mother:2.3%(95%CI 0.1-4.5);unknown,50.7%(95%CI 33.4-68);cephalohematoma,0.6%(95%CI 0.3-0.9).Regarding treatment of icterus,seven and eight articles were found on phototherapy and exchange transfusion,respectively.In five studies,all patients underwent phototherapy,but rate of exchange transfusion use was between 6.6%and 50.9%.Conclusions According to the results,unknown factors were the most common causes of icterus in Iranian neonates,followed by ABO blood groups incompatibility,infections and G6PD deficiency.By the way,phototherapy and exchange transfusion were found as therapeutic choices of neonatal jaundice. | Yadollah Zahed Pasha Shaghayegh Alizadeh-Tabari Ermia Zahed Pasha Mohammad Zamani | 2020 | World Journal of Pediatrics2020，16，5： | 23 |
| 2 | Sessile serrated adenomas:Demographic,endoscopic and pathological characteristics显示文摘AIM:To study the demographic and endoscopic characteristics of patients with sessile serrated adenoma(SSA) in a single center.METHODS:Patients with SSA were identified by review of the pathology database of Mayo Clinic Arizona from 2005 to 2007.A retrospective chart review was performed to extract data on demographics,polyp characteristics,presence of synchronous adenomatous polyps or cancer,polypectomy methods,and related complications.RESULTS:One hundred and seventy-one(2.9%) of all patients undergoing colonoscopy had a total of 226 SSAs.The mean(SE) size of the SSAs was 8.1(0.4) mm;42% of SSAs were ≤ 5 mm,and 69% were ≤ 9 mm.Fifty-one per cent of SSAs were located in the cecum or ascending colon.Approximately half of the patients had synchronous polyps of other histological types,including hyperplastic and adenomatous polyps.Synchronous adenocarcinoma was present in seven(4%) cases.Ninety-seven percent of polyps were removed by colonoscopy.CONCLUSION:Among patients with colon polyps,2.9% were found to have SSAs.Most of the SSAs were located in the right side and were safely managed by colonoscopy. | Suryakanth R Gurudu Russell I Heigh Giovanni De Petris Evelyn G Heigh Jonathan A Leighton Shabana F Pasha Isaac B Malagon Ananya Das | 2010 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2010，16，27： | 7 |

| 5 | 采用燃烧技术制备CuO纳米粒子:一种高效且环境友好的用于芳族醛合成芳族腈催化剂(英文)显示文摘CuO nanoparticles were synthesized using an energy-efficient and rapid solution combustion technique with malic acid employed as a fuel. The combustion-derived CuO nanoparticles were used as catalysts in a one-pot synthesis of aromatic nitriles from aromatic aldehydes and hydroxylamine hydrochloride. The catalyst was characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray analysis, transmission electron microscopy, and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface area analysis. The catalytic activity of the CuO nanoparticles in the synthesis of aromatic nitriles from aromatic aldehydes was evaluated. The present protocol offers the advantages of a clean reaction, simple methodology, short reaction duration (1-2 min), and high yield (85%-98%). The catalytic activity of the CuO nanoparticles was found to be higher than that of bulk CuO powder under the same conditions. The catalyst can also be recovered and reused up to four times with no significant loss of catalytic activity. | 10 | Association of post-traumatic stress disorder and work performance: A survey from an emergency medical service, Karachi, Pakistan显示文摘BACKGROUND: The purpose of the study was to explore the association between posttraumatic stress disorder(PTSD) and work performance of emergency medical services personnel in Karachi, Pakistan.METHODS: Emergency medical service personnel were screened for potential PTSD using Impact of Event Scale-Revised(IES-R). Work performance was assessed on the basis of fi ve variables: number of late arrivals to work, number of days absent, number of days sick, adherence to protocol, and patient satisfaction over a period of 3 months. In order to model outcomes like the number of late arrivals to work, days absent and days late, negative binomial regression was applied, whereas logistic regression was applied for adherence to protocol and linear for patient satisfaction scores.RESULTS: Mean scores of PTSD were 24.0±12.2. | 11 | New chiral reverse phase HPLC method for enantioselective analysis of ketorolac using chiral AGP column显示文摘A simple, specific, precise, sensitive and rapid reverse phase-HPLC method was developed for determination of ketorolac enantiomers, a potent nonnarcotic analgesic in pharmaceutical formulations. The method was developed on a chiral AGP column. Mobile phase was 0.1 M sodium phosphate buffer (pH 4.5): Isopropanol (98:2, v/v), at a flow rate of 1 mL/min with run time of 15 min. Ultraviolet detection was made at 322 nm. The linearity range was 0.02-10 mg/mL for each of the enantiomers. The mobile phase composition was systematically studied to find the optimum chromatographic conditions.
