1Deceptive jamming suppression in multistatic radar based on coherent clustering显示文摘This paper proposes a suppression method of the deceptive false target(FT) produced by digital radio frequency memory(DRFM) in a multistatic radar system. The simulated deceptive false targets from DRFM cannot be easily discriminated and suppressed with traditional radar systems. Therefore, multistatic radar has attracted considerable interest as it provides improved performance against deception jamming due to several separated receivers. This paper first investigates the received signal model in the presence of multiple false targets in all receivers of the multistatic radar. Then, obtain the propagation time delays of the false targets based on the cross-correlation test of the received signals in different receivers. 2Review on evolution and evaluation of asphalt pavement structures and materials显示文摘The purpose of this study was to summarize the wide-range literatures on asphalt pavements, explore the evolution of road pavements, analyze typical asphalt pavement structures, highlight current trends in research and industry, and to recommend future areas of research and development. In this research, road pavement evolution was explored from the earliest roads to the modern pavements. A new method was recommended to categorize asphalt pavement materials into the three large families which may be further sub-divided according to their mechanical parameters. A unified asphalt pavement classification(UAPC) method was proposed and the worldwide asphalt pavements could be divided into six types through the new method. Based o n the UAPC method, 1087 asphalt pavement structures were classified and analyzed to explore the asphalt thickness variation. In order to evaluate asphalt pavement performance, the Chinese design specification was employed for analyzing lives of 29 high-volume pavements and 28 low-volume pavements. Through this research, it was found that:(1) in the past 100 years, asphalt pavement materials and structures had been becoming more and more strong;(2) asphalt layer thicknesses were various from 5 to 60 cm and the overall pavement thicknesses were various from 28 to 160 cm;(3) the long-life pavements in the other countries may become'shorter-life' pavements according to the prediction based on the Chinese specification.Yu Liu Peifeng Su Miaomiao Li Zhanping You Mohan Zhao 2020Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2020,7,5:6
3Au nanoclusters suppress chronic lymphocytic leukaemia cells by inhibiting thioredoxin reductase 1 to induce intracellular oxidative stress and apoptosis显示文摘Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia(CLL) is a rare blood cancer that always relapses as refractory disease and eventually leads to death. To date, therapeutic options for CLL patients are scarce and there is an urgent need to develop novel chemotherapeutics that are both effective and safe. Gold-containing compounds induce a lethal oxidative and endoplasmic reticulum stress response in cultured and primary CLL cells via inhibition of thioredoxin reductase(TrxR). However, traditional gold-containing medicines have revealed side effects during clinical applications. Therefore, safer gold-containing drugs are needed to overcome this challenge. In this study, a novel peptide templated gold cluster Au_(25)Sv_9 was synthesized and its therapeutic effect on CLL cells was evaluated. This nanocluster could induce cell apoptosis in MEC-1 cells in a dose-dependent manner which correlated with the uptake amount of clusters in cells.As expected, increasing intracellular reactive oxidative species(ROS) in MEC-1 cells was exhibited with the increase of cluster dosage. Further analyses demonstrated the underlying mechanism that the nanoclusters suppress the activity of TrxR1, increase the level of intracellular ROS, destroy the mitochondrial membrane potential and finally trigger the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway in MEC-1 cells.Furthermore, the direct interaction between Au_(25)Sv_9 clusters and TrxR1 was confirmed for the first time by isothermal titration calorimetry. 6Femtosecond laser fabrication of nanograting-based distributed fiber sensors for extreme environmental applications显示文摘The femtosecond laser has emerged as a powerful tool for micro-and nanoscale device fabrication. Through nonlinear ionization processes, nanometer-sized material modifications can be inscribed in transparent materials for device fabrication. This paper describes femtosecond precision inscription of nanograting in silica fiber cores to form both distributed and point fiber sensors for sensing applications in extreme environmental conditions. Through the use of scanning electron microscope imaging and laser processing optimization,high-temperature stable, Type II femtosecond laser modifications were continuously inscribed,point by point, with only an insertion loss at 1 d B m~(-1) or 0.001 d B per point sensor device.High-temperature performance of fiber sensors was tested at 1000℃, which showed a temperature fluctuation of ±5.5℃ over 5 days. The low laser-induced insertion loss in optical fibers enabled the fabrication of a 1.4 m, radiation-resilient distributed fiber sensor. The in-pile testing of the distributed fiber sensor further showed that fiber sensors can execute stable and distributed temperature measurements in extreme radiation environments. 10Protocatechuic acid and quercetin attenuate ETEC-caused IPEC-1 cell inflammation and injury associated with inhibition of necroptosis and pyroptosis signaling pathways显示文摘Background:Necroptosis and pyroptosis are newly identified forms of programmed cell death,which play a vital role in development of many gastrointestinal disorders.Although plant polyphenols have been reported to protect intestinal health,it is still unclear whether there is a beneficial role of plant polyphenols in modulating necroptosis and pyroptosis in intestinal porcine epithelial cell line(IPEC-1)infected with enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli(ETEC)K88.This research was conducted to explore whether plant polyphenols including protocatechuic acid(PCA)and quercetin(Que),attenuated inflammation and injury of IPEC-1 caused by ETEC K88 through regulating necroptosis and pyroptosis signaling pathways.Methods:IPEC-1 cells were treated with PCA(40μmol/L)or Que(10μmol/L)in the presence or absence of ETEC K88.Results:PCA and Que decreased ETEC K88 adhesion and endotoxin level(P<0.05)in cell supernatant.PCA and Que increased cell number(P<0.001)and decreased lactate dehydrogenases(LDH)activity(P<0.05)in cell supernatant after ETEC infection.PCA and Que improved transepithelial electrical resistance(TEER)(P<0.001)and reduced fluorescein isothiocyanate-labeled dextran(FD4)flux(P<0.001),and enhanced membrane protein abundance of occludin,claudin-1 and ZO-1(P<0.05),and rescued distribution of these tight junction proteins(P<0.05)after ETEC infection.PCA and Que also declined cell necrosis ratio(P<0.05).PCA and Que reduced mRNA abundance and concentration of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin(IL)-6 and IL-8(P<0.001),and down-regulated gene expression of toll-like receptors 4(TLR4)and its downstream signals(P<0.001)after ETEC infection.PCA and Que down-regulated protein abundance of total receptor interacting protein kinase 1(t-RIP1),phosphorylated-RIP1(p-RIP1),p-RIP1/t-RIP1,t-RIP3,p-RIP3,mixed lineage kinase domain-like protein(MLKL),p-MLKL,dynamin-related protein 1(DRP1),phosphoglycerate mutase 5(PGAM5)and high mobility group box 1(HMGB1)(P<0.05)after ETEC infection.Moreover,PCA and Que reduced protein abundance of nod-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3),nod-like receptors family CARD domain-containing protein 4(NLRC4),apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a CARD(ASC),gasdermin D(GSDMD)and caspase-1(P<0.05)after ETEC infection.Conclusions:In general,our data suggest that PCA and Que are capable of attenuating ETEC-caused intestinal inflammation and damage via inhibiting necroptosis and pyroptosis signaling pathways.Kan Xiao Mohan Zhou Qingqing Lv Pengwei He Xu Qin Dan Wang Jiangchao Zhao Yulan Liu 2023Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2023,14,4:0

12Mapping Multi-factor-mediated Chromatin Interactions to Assess Dysregulation of Lung Cancer-related Genes显示文摘Studies on the lung cancer genome are indispensable for developing a cure for lung cancer.Whole-genome resequencing,genome-wide association studies,and transcriptome sequencing have greatly improved our understanding of the cancer genome.However,dysregulation of longrange chromatin interactions in lung cancer remains poorly described.To better understand the three-dimensional(3D)genomic interaction features of the lung cancer genome,we used the A549 cell line as a model system and generated high-resolution chromatin interactions associated with RNA polymerase II(RNAPII),CCCTC-binding factor(CTCF),enhancer of zeste homolog 2(EZH2),and histone 3 lysine 27 trimethylation(H3K27me3)using long-read chromatin interaction analysis by paired-end tag sequencing(ChIA-PET).Analysis showed that EZH2/H3K27me3-mediated interactions further repressed target genes,either through loops or domains,and their distributions along the genome were distinct from and complementary to those associated with RNAPII.Cancer-related genes were highly enriched with chromatin interactions,and chromatin interactions specific to the A549 cell line were associated with oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes,such as additional repressive interactions on FOXO4 and promoter–promoter interactions between NF1 and RNF135.Knockout of an anchor associated with chromatin interactions reversed the dysregulation of cancer-related genes,suggesting that chromatin interactions are essential for proper expression of lung cancer-related genes.These findings demonstrate the 3D landscape and gene regulatory relationships of the lung cancer genome.Yan Zhang Jingwen Zhang Wei Zhang Mohan Wang Shuangqi Wang Yao Xu Lun Zhao Xingwang Li Guoliang Li 2023Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,3:0
13Oncolytic adenoviruses expressing checkpoint inhibitors for cancer therapy显示文摘Despite the remarkable success of immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs),primary resistance to ICIs causes only subsets of patients to achieve durable responses due to the complex tumor microenvironment(TME).Oncolytic viruses(OVs)can overcome the immunosuppressive TME and promote systemic antitumor immunity in hosts.Engineered OVs armed with ICIs would likely have improved effectiveness as a cancer therapy.According to the diverse immune cell landscapes among different types of tumors,we rationally and precisely generated three recombinant oncolytic adenoviruses(OAds):OAd-SIRPα-Fc,OAd-Siglec10-Fc and OAd-TIGIT-Fc.These viruses were designed to locally deliver SIRPα-Fc,Siglec10-Fc or TIGIT-Fc fusion proteins recognizing CD47,CD24 or CD155,respectively,in the TME to achieve enhanced antitumor effects.Our results suggested that OAd-SIRPα-Fc and OAd-Siglec10-Fc both showed outstanding efficacy in tumor suppression of macrophage-dominated tumors,while OAd-TIGIT-Fc showed the best antitumor immunity in CD8+T-cell-dominated tumors.Importantly,the recombinant OAds activated an inflammatory immune response and generated long-term antitumor memory.In addition,the combination of OAd-Siglec10-Fc with anti-PD-1 significantly enhanced the antitumor effect in a 4T1 tumor model by remodeling the TME.In summary,rationally designed OAds expressing ICIs tailored to the immune cell landscape in the TME can precisely achieve tumor-specific immunotherapy of cancer.Daoyuan Xie Yaomei Tian Die Hu Yuanda Wang Yuling Yang Bailing Zhou Rui Zhang Zhixiang Ren Mohan Liu Jie Xu Chunyan Dong Binyan Zhao Li Yang 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,12:0
14Novel Autoantibodies Related to Cell Death and DNA Repair Pathways in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus显示文摘Systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)is a complex autoimmune syndrome characterized by various co-existing autoantibodies(autoAbs)in patients’blood.However,the full spectrum of autoAbs in SLE has not been comprehensively elucidated.In this study,a commercial platform bearing 9400 antigens(ProtoArray)was used to identify autoAbs that were significantly elevated in the sera of SLE patients.By comparing the autoAb profiles of SLE patients with those of healthy controls,we identified 437 IgG and 1213 IgM autoAbs that the expression levels were significantly increased in SLE(P<0.05).Use of the ProtoArray platform uncovered over 300 novel autoAbs targeting a broad range of nuclear,cytoplasmic,and membrane antigens.Molecular interaction network analysis revealed that the antigens targeted by the autoAbs were most significantly enriched in cell death,cell cycle,and DNA repair pathways.A group of autoAbs associated with cell apoptosis and DNA repair function,including those targeting APEX1,AURKA,POLB,AGO1,HMGB1,IFIT5,MAPKAPK3,PADI4,RGS3,SRP19,UBE2S,and VRK1,were further validated by ELISA and Western blot in a larger cohort.In addition,the levels of autoAbs against APEX1,HMGB1,VRK1,AURKA,PADI4,and SRP19 were positively correlated with the level of anti-dsDNA in SLE patients.Comprehensive autoAb screening has identified novel autoAbs,which may shed light on potential pathogenic pathways leading to lupus.Hui Luo Ling Wang Ding Bao Li Wang Hongjun Zhao Yun Lian Mei Yan Chandra Mohan Quan-Zhen Li 2019Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2019,17,3:0
15Sub-percent precision measurement of neutrino oscillation parameters with JUNO显示文摘JUNO is a multi-purpose neutrino observatory under construction in the south of China.This publication presents new sensitivity estimates for the measurement of the △m_(31)^(2),△m_(21)^(2),sin^(2)θ_(12),and sin^(2)θ_(13) oscillation parameters using reactor antineutrinos,which is one of the primary physics goals of the experiment.The sensitivities are obtained using the best knowledge available to date on the location and overburden of the experimental site,the nuclear reactors in the surrounding area and beyond,the detector response uncertainties,and the reactor antineutrino spectral shape constraints expected from the TAO satellite detector.It is found that the △m_(21)^(2) and sin^(2)θ_(12) oscillation parameters will be determined to 0.5%precision or better in six years of data collection.In the same period,the △m_(31)^(2) parameter will be determined to about 0.2%precision for each 16A Machine Learning Made Catalog of FR-Ⅱ Radio Galaxies from the FIRST Survey显示文摘We present an independent catalog(FRIIRGcat)of 45,241 Fanaroff–Riley TypeⅡ(FR-Ⅱ)radio galaxies compiled from the Very Large Array Faint Images of the Radio Sky at Twenty-centimeters(FIRST)survey and employed the deep learning method.Among them,optical and/or infrared counterparts are identified for 41,425 FR-Ⅱs.This catalog spans luminosities 2.63×10^(22)≤L_(rad)≤6.76×10^(29)W Hz^(-1)and redshifts up to z=5.01.The spectroscopic classification indicates that there are 1431 low-excitation radio galaxies and 260 high-excitation radio galaxies.Among the spectroscopically identified sources,black hole masses are estimated for 4837 FR-Is,which are in 10^(7.5)■M_(BH)■10^(9.5)M_(⊙).Interestingly,this catalog reveals a couple of giant radio galaxies(GRGs),which are already in the existing GRG catalog,confirming the efficiency of this FR-I catalog.Furthermore,284new GRGs are unveiled in this new FR-I sample;they have the largest projected sizes ranging from 701 to1209 kpc and are located at redshifts 0.31Bao-Qiang Lao Xiao-Long Yang Sumit Jaiswal Prashanth Mohan Xiao-Hui Sun Sheng-Li Qin Ru-Shuang Zhao 2024Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2024,24,3:0
17α-myosin heavy chain lactylation maintains sarcomeric structure and function and alleviates the development of heart failure显示文摘The sarcomeric interaction ofα-myosin heavy chain(α-MHC)with Titin is vital for cardiac structure and contraction.However,the mechanism regulating this interaction in normal and failing hearts remains unknown.Lactate is a crucial energy substrate of the heart.Here,we identify thatα-MHC undergoes lactylation on lysine 1897 to regulate the interaction ofα-MHC with Titin.We observed a reduction ofα-MHC K1897 lactylation in mice and patients with heart failure.Loss of K1897 lactylation inα-MHC K1897R knock-in mice reducesα-MHC–Titin interaction and leads to impaired cardiac structure and function.Furthermore,we identified that p300 and Sirtuin 1 act as the acyltransferase and delactylase ofα-MHC,respectively.Decreasing lactate production by chemical or genetic manipulation reducesα-MHC lactylation,impairsα-MHC–Titin interaction and worsens heart failure.By contrast,upregulation of the lactate concentration by administering sodium lactate or inhibiting the pivotal lactate transporter in cardiomyocytes can promoteα-MHC K1897 lactylation andα-MHC–Titin interaction,thereby alleviating heart failure.In conclusion,α-MHC lactylation is dynamically regulated and an important determinant of overall cardiac structure and function.Excessive lactate efflux and consumption by cardiomyocytes may decrease the intracellular lactate level,which is the main cause of reducedα-MHC K1897 lactylation during myocardial injury.Our study reveals that cardiac metabolism directly modulates the sarcomeric structure and function through lactate-dependent modification ofα-MHC.Naijin Zhang Ying Zhang Jiaqi Xu Pengbo Wang Boquan Wu Saien Lu Xinxin Lu Shilong You Xinyue Huang Mohan Li Yuanming Zou Mengke Liu Yuanhui Zhao Guozhe Sun Wenbin Wang Danxi Geng Jingwei Liu Liu Cao Yingxian Sun 2023Cell Research2023,33,9:0

19Fungal diversity notes 1151-1276:taxonomic and phylogenetic contributions on genera and species of fungal taxa显示文摘Fungal diversity notes is one of the important journal series of fungal taxonomy that provide detailed descriptions and illustrations of new fungal taxa,as well as providing new information of fungal taxa worldwide.This article is the 11th contribution to the fungal diversity notes series,in which 126 taxa distributed in two phyla,six classes,24 orders and 55 families are described and illustrated.Taxa in this study were mainly collected from Italy by Erio Camporesi and also collected from China,India and Thailand,as well as in some other European,North American and South American countries.Taxa described in the present study include two new families,12 new genera,82 new species,five new combinations and 25 new records on new hosts and new geographical distributions as well as sexual-asexual reports.The two new families are Eriomycetaceae(Dothideomycetes,family incertae sedis)and Fasciatisporaceae(Xylariales,Sordariomycetes).The twelve new genera comprise Bhagirathimyces(Phaeosphaeriaceae),Camporesiomyces(Tubeufiaceae),Eriocamporesia(Cryphonectriaceae),Eriomyces(Eriomycetaceae),Neomonodictys(Pleurotheciaceae),Paraloratospora(Phaeosphaeriaceae),Paramonodictys(Parabambusicolaceae),Pseudoconlarium(Diaporthomycetidae,genus incertae sedis),Pseudomurilentithecium(Lentitheciaceae),Setoapiospora(Muyocopronaceae),Srinivasanomyces(Vibrisseaceae)and Xenoanthostomella(Xylariales,genera incertae sedis).The 82 new species 20A Cosmic Microscope to Probe the Universe from Present to Cosmic Dawn:Dual-element Lowfrequency Space VLBI Observatory显示文摘A space-based Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) program, named as the Cosmic Microscope, is proposed to involve dual VLBI telescopes in the space working together with giant ground-based telescopes (e.g., Square Kilometre Array, FAST, Arecibo) to image the low radio frequency Universe with the purpose of unraveling the compact structure of cosmic constituents including supermassive black holes and binaries, pulsars, astronomical masers and the underlying source, and exoplanets amongst others. The operational frequency bands are 30, 74, 330 and 1670 MHz, supporting broad science areas. The mission plans to launch two 30-m-diameter radio telescopes into 2 000 km×90 000 km elliptical orbits. The two telescopes can work in flexibly diverse modes,(i) Space-ground VLBI. The maximum space-ground baseline length is about100 000 km; it provides a high-dynamic-range imaging capacity with unprecedented high resolutions at low frequencies (0.3 mas at 1.67 GHz and 20 mas at 30 MHz) enabling studies of exoplanets and supermassive black hole binaries (which emit nanoHz gravitational waves),(ii) Space-space single-baseline VLBI. This unique baseline enables the detection of flaring hydroxyl masers, and more precise position measurement of pulsars and radio transients at mas level.(iii) Single dish mode, where each telescope can be used to monitor transient bursts and rapidly trigger follow-up VLBI observations. The large space telescope will also contribute in measuring and constraining the total angular power spectrum from the Epoch of Reionization.
