1Review on evolution and evaluation of asphalt pavement structures and materials显示文摘The purpose of this study was to summarize the wide-range literatures on asphalt pavements, explore the evolution of road pavements, analyze typical asphalt pavement structures, highlight current trends in research and industry, and to recommend future areas of research and development. In this research, road pavement evolution was explored from the earliest roads to the modern pavements. A new method was recommended to categorize asphalt pavement materials into the three large families which may be further sub-divided according to their mechanical parameters. A unified asphalt pavement classification(UAPC) method was proposed and the worldwide asphalt pavements could be divided into six types through the new method. Based o n the UAPC method, 1087 asphalt pavement structures were classified and analyzed to explore the asphalt thickness variation. In order to evaluate asphalt pavement performance, the Chinese design specification was employed for analyzing lives of 29 high-volume pavements and 28 low-volume pavements. Through this research, it was found that:(1) in the past 100 years, asphalt pavement materials and structures had been becoming more and more strong;(2) asphalt layer thicknesses were various from 5 to 60 cm and the overall pavement thicknesses were various from 28 to 160 cm;(3) the long-life pavements in the other countries may become'shorter-life' pavements according to the prediction based on the Chinese specification.Yu Liu Peifeng Su Miaomiao Li Zhanping You Mohan Zhao 2020Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2020,7,5:6
2Au nanoclusters suppress chronic lymphocytic leukaemia cells by inhibiting thioredoxin reductase 1 to induce intracellular oxidative stress and apoptosis显示文摘Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia(CLL) is a rare blood cancer that always relapses as refractory disease and eventually leads to death. To date, therapeutic options for CLL patients are scarce and there is an urgent need to develop novel chemotherapeutics that are both effective and safe. Gold-containing compounds induce a lethal oxidative and endoplasmic reticulum stress response in cultured and primary CLL cells via inhibition of thioredoxin reductase(TrxR). However, traditional gold-containing medicines have revealed side effects during clinical applications. Therefore, safer gold-containing drugs are needed to overcome this challenge. In this study, a novel peptide templated gold cluster Au_(25)Sv_9 was synthesized and its therapeutic effect on CLL cells was evaluated. This nanocluster could induce cell apoptosis in MEC-1 cells in a dose-dependent manner which correlated with the uptake amount of clusters in cells.As expected, increasing intracellular reactive oxidative species(ROS) in MEC-1 cells was exhibited with the increase of cluster dosage. Further analyses demonstrated the underlying mechanism that the nanoclusters suppress the activity of TrxR1, increase the level of intracellular ROS, destroy the mitochondrial membrane potential and finally trigger the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway in MEC-1 cells.Furthermore, the direct interaction between Au_(25)Sv_9 clusters and TrxR1 was confirmed for the first time by isothermal titration calorimetry. 4Possible modulation of migrating diurnal tide by latitudinal gradient of zonal wind observed by SABER/TIMED显示文摘Temperature data from SABER/TIMED and Empirical Orthogonal Function(EOF) analysis are taken to examine possible modulations of the temperature migrating diurnal tide(DW1) by latitudinal gradients of zonal mean zonal wind(■). The result shows that z increases with altitudes and displays clearly seasonal and interannual variability. In the upper mesosphere and lower thermosphere(MLT), at the latitudes between 20°N and 20°S, when ■ strengthens(weakens) at equinoxes(solstices) the DW1 amplitude increases(decreases) simultaneously. Stronger maximum in March-April equinox occurs in both z and the DW1 amplitude. Besides, a quasi-biennial oscillation of DW1 is also found to be synchronous with ■. The resembling spatial-temporal features suggest that ■ in the upper tropic MLT probably plays an important role in modulating semiannual, annual, and quasi-biennial oscillations in DW1 at the same latitude and altitude. In addition, ■ in the mesosphere possibly affects the propagation of DW1 and produces SAO of DW1 in the lower thermosphere. 8Global structure and seasonal variations of the migrating 6-h tide observed by SABER/TIMED显示文摘Ten years of SABER/TIMED temperature data are used to analyze the global structure and seasonal variations of the migrating 6-h tide from the stratosphere to the lower thermosphere. The amplitudes of the migrating 6-h tide increase with altitudes. In the stratosphere, the migrating 6-h tide peaks around 35°N/S. The climatologically annual mean of the migrating 6-h tide clearly shows the manifestation of the(4, 6) Hough mode between 70 and 90 km that peaks at the equator and near 35°N/S. Above 90 km, the 6-h tide shows more than one Hough mode with the(4, 6) mode being the dominant one. The migrating 6-h tide is stronger in the southern hemisphere. Annual, semiannual, 4-, and 3-month oscillations are the four dominant seasonal variations of the tidal amplitude. In the stratosphere and stratopause, the spring enhancement of the 6-h tide at middle latitudes is the most conspicuous feature. From the mesosphere to the lower thermosphere, the tidal amplitude at low latitudes is gradually in the scale of that at middle latitudes and exhibits different temporal variations at different altitudes and latitudes. Both ozone heating in the stratosphere and the background atmosphere probably affect the generation and the seasonal variations of the migrating 6-h tide. 9Thermal transport by electrons and ions in warm dense aluminum:A combined density functional theory and deep potential study显示文摘We propose an efficient scheme that combines density functional theory(DFT)with deep potentials(DPs),to systematically study convergence issues in the computation of the electronic thermal conductivity of warm dense aluminum(2.7 g/cm^(3)and temperatures ranging from 0.5 eV to 5.0 eV)with respect to the number of k-points,the number of atoms,the broadening parameter,the exchange-correlation functionals,and the pseudopotentials.Furthermore,we obtain the ionic thermal conductivity using the Green–Kubo method in conjunction with DP molecular dynamics simulations,and we study size effects on the ionic thermal conductivity.This work demonstrates that the proposed method is efficient in evaluating both electronic and ionic thermal conductivities of materials.Qianrui Liu Junyi Li Mohan Chen 2021Matter and Radiation at Extremes2021,6,2:2

15Genetic and Breeding Progress Analysis on Five Pure Lines of Dahen Broiler显示文摘To timely modify breeding scheme and improve selection efficiency of Dahen broiler,genetic and breeding progress analysis on five pure lines was conducted. The results showed that the selection on breeding goal traits of each line was effective since 14 generations,especially the selection on growth traits did not cause adverse influence on reproductive performance. After the 6 thgeneration,main performances of each line maintained in higher level,but the breeding progress obviously declined.
