1Review on evolution and evaluation of asphalt pavement structures and materials显示文摘The purpose of this study was to summarize the wide-range literatures on asphalt pavements, explore the evolution of road pavements, analyze typical asphalt pavement structures, highlight current trends in research and industry, and to recommend future areas of research and development. In this research, road pavement evolution was explored from the earliest roads to the modern pavements. A new method was recommended to categorize asphalt pavement materials into the three large families which may be further sub-divided according to their mechanical parameters. A unified asphalt pavement classification(UAPC) method was proposed and the worldwide asphalt pavements could be divided into six types through the new method. Based o n the UAPC method, 1087 asphalt pavement structures were classified and analyzed to explore the asphalt thickness variation. In order to evaluate asphalt pavement performance, the Chinese design specification was employed for analyzing lives of 29 high-volume pavements and 28 low-volume pavements. Through this research, it was found that:(1) in the past 100 years, asphalt pavement materials and structures had been becoming more and more strong;(2) asphalt layer thicknesses were various from 5 to 60 cm and the overall pavement thicknesses were various from 28 to 160 cm;(3) the long-life pavements in the other countries may become'shorter-life' pavements according to the prediction based on the Chinese specification.Yu Liu Peifeng Su Miaomiao Li Zhanping You Mohan Zhao 2020Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2020,7,5:6
2Au nanoclusters suppress chronic lymphocytic leukaemia cells by inhibiting thioredoxin reductase 1 to induce intracellular oxidative stress and apoptosis显示文摘Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia(CLL) is a rare blood cancer that always relapses as refractory disease and eventually leads to death. To date, therapeutic options for CLL patients are scarce and there is an urgent need to develop novel chemotherapeutics that are both effective and safe. Gold-containing compounds induce a lethal oxidative and endoplasmic reticulum stress response in cultured and primary CLL cells via inhibition of thioredoxin reductase(TrxR). However, traditional gold-containing medicines have revealed side effects during clinical applications. Therefore, safer gold-containing drugs are needed to overcome this challenge. In this study, a novel peptide templated gold cluster Au_(25)Sv_9 was synthesized and its therapeutic effect on CLL cells was evaluated. This nanocluster could induce cell apoptosis in MEC-1 cells in a dose-dependent manner which correlated with the uptake amount of clusters in cells.As expected, increasing intracellular reactive oxidative species(ROS) in MEC-1 cells was exhibited with the increase of cluster dosage. Further analyses demonstrated the underlying mechanism that the nanoclusters suppress the activity of TrxR1, increase the level of intracellular ROS, destroy the mitochondrial membrane potential and finally trigger the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway in MEC-1 cells.Furthermore, the direct interaction between Au_(25)Sv_9 clusters and TrxR1 was confirmed for the first time by isothermal titration calorimetry. 4Impact of switching frequencies on the TID response of SiC power MOSFETs显示文摘Different switching frequencies are required when SiC metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors(MOSFETs)are switching in a space environment.In this study,the total ionizing dose(TID)responses of SiC power MOSFETs are investigated under different switching frequencies from 1 kHz to 10 MHz.A significant shift was observed in the threshold voltage as the frequency increased,which resulted in premature failure of the drain-source breakdown voltage and drain-source leakage current.The degradation is attributed to the high activation and low recovery rates of traps at high frequencies.The results of this study suggest that a targeted TID irradiation test evaluation method can be developed according to the actual switching frequency of SiC power MOSFETs.Sheng Yang Xiaowen Liang Jiangwei Cui Qiwen Zheng Jing Sun Mohan Liu Dang Zhang Haonan Feng Xuefeng Yu Chuanfeng Xiang Yudong Li Qi Guo 2021Journal of Semiconductors2021,42,8:2
5Adversarial Attacks on Content-Based Filtering Journal Recommender Systems显示文摘Recommender systems are very useful for people to explore what they really need.Academic papers are important achievements for researchers and they often have a great deal of choice to submit their papers.In order to improve the efficiency of selecting the most suitable journals for publishing their works,journal recommender systems(JRS)can automatically provide a small number of candidate journals based on key information such as the title and the abstract.However,users or journal owners may attack the system for their own purposes.In this paper,we discuss about the adversarial attacks against content-based filtering JRS.We propose both targeted attack method that makes some target journals appear more often in the system and non-targeted attack method that makes the system provide incorrect recommendations.We also conduct extensive experiments to validate the proposed methods.We hope this paper could help improve JRS by realizing the existence of such adversarial attacks.Zhaoquan Gu Yinyin Cai Sheng Wang Mohan Li Jing Qiu Shen Su Xiaojiang Du Zhihong Tian 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,9:2
6Thermal transport by electrons and ions in warm dense aluminum:A combined density functional theory and deep potential study显示文摘We propose an efficient scheme that combines density functional theory(DFT)with deep potentials(DPs),to systematically study convergence issues in the computation of the electronic thermal conductivity of warm dense aluminum(2.7 g/cm^(3)and temperatures ranging from 0.5 eV to 5.0 eV)with respect to the number of k-points,the number of atoms,the broadening parameter,the exchange-correlation functionals,and the pseudopotentials.Furthermore,we obtain the ionic thermal conductivity using the Green–Kubo method in conjunction with DP molecular dynamics simulations,and we study size effects on the ionic thermal conductivity.This work demonstrates that the proposed method is efficient in evaluating both electronic and ionic thermal conductivities of materials.Qianrui Liu Junyi Li Mohan Chen 2021Matter and Radiation at Extremes2021,6,2:2

14Genetic and Breeding Progress Analysis on Five Pure Lines of Dahen Broiler显示文摘To timely modify breeding scheme and improve selection efficiency of Dahen broiler,genetic and breeding progress analysis on five pure lines was conducted. The results showed that the selection on breeding goal traits of each line was effective since 14 generations,especially the selection on growth traits did not cause adverse influence on reproductive performance. After the 6 thgeneration,main performances of each line maintained in higher level,but the breeding progress obviously declined.
