Quantitative characterization of reservoir space in the Lower Silurian Longmaxi Shale, southern Sichuan,China显示文摘Based on the drilling data of the Upper Ordovician Wufeng Shale and the Lower Silurian Longmaxi Shale in southern Sichuan Basin, the construction of matrix pores and the development condition of fractures in a marine organic-rich shale are quantitatively evaluated through the establishment of the reservoir petrophysical models and porosity mathematical models. Our studies show that there are four major characteristics of the Longmaxi Shale confirmed by the quantitative characterization:(1)the pore volume of per unit mass is the highest in organic matter, followed in clay minerals, finally in brittle minerals;(2)the porosity of the effective shale reservoir is moderate and equal to that of the Barnett Shale, and the main parts of the shale reservoir spaces are interlayer pores of clay minerals and organic pores;(3)the porosity of the organic-rich shale is closely related to TOC and brittle mineral/clay mineral ratio, and mainly increases with TOC and clay mineral content;(4)fractures are developed in this black shale, and are mainly micro ones and medium-large ones.In the Longmaxi Shale, the fracture density increases from top to bottom, reflecting the characteristics with high brittle mineral content, high Young’s modulus, low Poisson's ratio and high brittleness at its bottom. | WANG YuMan DONG DaZhong YANG Hua HE Ling WANG ShiQian HUANG JinLiang PU BoLing WANG ShuFang | 2014 | Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,2: | 36

International consensus statement on robotic hepatectomy surgery in 2018显示文摘The robotic surgical system has been applied in liver surgery. However, controversies concerns exist regarding a variety of factors including the safety, feasibility, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness of robotic surgery. To promote the development of robotic hepatectomy, this study aimed to evaluate the current status of robotic hepatectomy and provide sixty experts' consensus and recommendations to promote its development. Based on the World Health Organization Handbook for Guideline Development, a Consensus Steering Group and a Consensus Development Group were established to determine the topics, prepare evidence-based documents, and generate recommendations. The GRADE Grid method and Delphi vote were used to formulate the recommendations. A total of 22 topics were prepared analyzed and widely discussed during the 4 meetings. Based on the published articles and expert panel opinion, 7 recommendations were generated by the GRADE method using an evidence-based method, which focused on the safety, feasibility, indication, techniques and cost-effectiveness of hepatectomy. Given that the current evidences were low to very low as evaluated by the GRADE method, further randomized-controlled trials are needed in the future to validate these recommendations. | Rong Liu Go Wakabayashi Hong-Jin Kim Gi-Hong Choi Anusak Yiengpruksawan Yuman Fong Jin He Ugo Boggi Roberto I Troisi Mikhail Efanov Daniel Azoulay Fabrizio Panaro Patrick Pessaux Xiao-Ying Wang Ji-Ye Zhu Shao-Geng Zhang Chuan-Dong Sun Zheng Wu Kai-Shan Tao Ke-Hu Yang Jia Fan Xiao-Ping Chen | 2019 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2019,25,12: | 23
Methods for Shale Gas Play Assessment: A Comparison between Silurian Longmaxi Shale and Mississippian Barnett Shale显示文摘Based on field work, organic geochemical analyses and experimental testing, a six-property assessment method for shale gas is proposed. These six properties include organic matter properies, lithofacies, petrophysical properties, gas content, brittleness and local stress field. Due to the features of continuous distribution over a large area and low resource abundance in shale plays, a sweet spot should have these following properties:(a) TOC>2%;(b) brittle minerals content(>40%) and clay minerals(<30%);(c) Ro(>1.1%);(d) porosity(>2%) and permeability(>0.000 1 m D), and(e) effective thickness(30–50 m). Applying these criteria in the Sichuan Basin, the Silurian Longmaxi shale consists of four prospecting sweet spots, including blocks of Changning, Weiyuan, Zhaotong and Fushun-Yongchuan. Although these four blocks have some similarities, different features were usually observed. After comprehensive analyses using the six-property assessment method, the Fushun-Yongan Block ranks the most favorable sweet spot, followed by the Weiyuan Block. For the other two blocks, the Changning Block is better than the Zhaotong Block. By comparing with the Mississippian Barnett shale, characteristics that are crucial for a high-yielding in the Sichuan Basin include a high content of organic matter(TOC>2.5%), a moderate thermal maturity(Ro=0.4%–2%), a high content of brittle minerals(quartz: 30%–45%), a high gas content(>2.5 m3?t-1), and types I and II1 kerogen. | Songqi Pan Caineng Zou Zhi Yang Dazhong Dong Yuman Wang Shufang Wang Songtao Wu Jinliang Huang Qun Liu Dule Wang Ziyuan Wang | 2015 | Journal of Earth Science2015,26,2: | 10
The Rice'NUTRITION RESPONSE AND ROOT GROWTH' (NRR) Gene Regulates Heading Date显示文摘Dear Editor, As one of the most important developmental traits, flowering time has been extensively investigated in the long-day plant Arabidopsis.Multiple factors are involved, including photoperiod and/or temperature (Amasino,2010).Flowering locus T (FT) is known to be an important integrator of different flowering pathways (Taoka et al.,2011).Genes of the CONSTANS (CO) family also play key roles in regulating flowering time. The CO protein consists of a zinc finger and a CCT domain shared by a group of plant-specific transcription factors that regulate photoperiodic flowering response and circadian rhythms in Arabidopsis. In the case of short-day plants such as rice, previous studies have also revealed a number of genes that control heading date, such as the CO ortholog Heading date 1 (Hdl) and,at its downstream,Heading date 3a (Hd3a),an ortholog of FT (Kojima et al.,2002;Komiya et al.,2008).Although the main photoperiodic flowering regulators are highly conserved between Arabidopsis and rice, there are genes that act differently relating to the daylength property of rice, such as Early heading datel (Ehdl),Indeterminate1 (OslD1),the MADS-box gene OsMADS51 (Doiet al.,2004;Kim et al.,2007;Park et al.,2008),and Ghd7 (Xue et al.,2008). | Yuman Zhang Ge Zhang Na Xiao Lina Wang Yaping Fu Zongxiu Sun Rongxiang Fang Xiaoying Chen | 2013 | Molecular Plant2013,6,2: | 3
Lower limit of thermal maturity for the carbonization of organic matter in marine shale and its exploration risk显示文摘Based on the drilling data of the Silurian Longmaxi Formation in the Sichuan Basin and periphery, SW China, the Ro lower limits and essential features of the carbonization of organic matter in over-high maturity marine shale were examined using laser Raman, electrical and physical property characterization techniques. Three preliminary conclusions are drawn:(1) The lower limit of Ro for the carbonization of Type I-II1 organic matter in marine shale is 3.5%; when the Ro is less than 3.4%, carbonization of organic matter won't happen in general; when the Ro ranges from 3.4% to 3.5%, non-carbonization and weak carbonization of organic matter may coexist; when the Ro is higher than 3.5%, the carbonization of organic matter is highly likely to take place.(2) Organic-rich shale entering carbonization phase have three basic characteristics: log resistivity curve showing a general 'slender neck' with low-ultralow resistance response, Raman spectra showing a higher graphite peak, and poor physical property(with matrix porosity of only less than 1/2 of the normal level).(3) The quality damage of shale reservoir caused by the carbonization of organic matter is almost fatal, which primarily manifests in depletion of hydrocarbon generation capacity, reduction or disappearance of organic pores and intercrystalline pores of clay minerals, and drop of adsorption capacity to natural gas. Therefore, the lower limit of Ro for the carbonization of Type I-II1 organic matter should be regarded as the theoretically impassable red line of shale gas exploration in the ancient marine shale formations. The organic-rich shale with low-ultralow resistance should be evaluated effectively in area selection to exclude the high risk areas caused by the carbonization of organic matter. The target organic-rich shale layers with low-ultralow resistance drilled during exploration and development should be evaluated on carbonization level of organic matter, and the deployment plan should be adjusted according to the evaluation results in time. | WANG Yuman LI Xinjing CHEN Bo WU Wei DONG Dazhong ZHANG Jian HAN Jing MA Jie DAI Bing WANG Hao JIANG Shan | 2018 | Petroleum Exploration and Development2018,45,3: | 2
Lycium barbarum polysaccharides ameliorate canine acute liver injury by reducing oxidative stress, protecting mitochondrial function, and regulating metabolic pathways显示文摘The development of acute liver injury can result in liver cirrhosis, liver failure, and even liver cancer, yet there is currently no effective therapy for it.The purpose of this study was to investigate the protective effect and therapeutic mechanism of Lycium barbarum polysaccharides(LBPs)on acute liver injury induced by carbon tetrachloride(CCl_(4)).To create a model of acute liver injury, experimental canines received an intraperitoneal injection of 1 mL/kg of CCl_(4)solution.The experimental canines in the therapy group were then fed LBPs(20 mg/kg).CCl_(4)-induced liver structural damage, excessive fibrosis, and reduced mitochondrial density were all improved by LBPs,according to microstructure data.By suppressing Kelch-like epichlorohydrin(ECH)-associated protein 1(Keap1),promoting the production of sequestosome 1(SQSTM1)/p62,nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2),and phaseⅡdetoxification genes and proteins downstream of Nrf2,and restoring the activity of anti-oxidant enzymes like catalase(CAT),LBPs can restore and increase the antioxidant capacity of liver. To lessen mitochondrial damage,LBPs can also enhance mitochondrial respiration, raise tissue adenosine triphosphate(ATP)levels, and reactivate the respiratory chain complexes I–V.According to serum metabolomics, the therapeutic impact of LBPs on acute liver damage is accomplished mostly by controlling the pathways to lipid metabolism.9-Hydroxyoctadecadienoic acid(9-HODE),lysophosphatidylcholine(Lyso PC/LPC),and phosphatidylethanolamine(PE)may be potential indicators of acute liver injury. This study confirmed that LBPs,an effective hepatoprotective drug, may cure acute liver injury by lowering oxidative stress, repairing mitochondrial damage, and regulating metabolic pathways. | JIANJIA HUANG YUMAN BAI WENTING XIE RONGMEI WANG WENYUE QIU SHUILIAN ZHOU ZHAOXIN TANG JIANZHAO LIAO RONGSHENG SU | 2023 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2023,24,2: | 2
Geological Conditions and Prospect Forecast of Shale Gas Formation in Qiangtang Basin, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau显示文摘The presence of shale gas has been confirmed in almost every marine shale distribution area in North America. Formation conditions of shale gas in China are the most favorable for marine, organic-rich shale as well. But there has been little research focusing on shale gas in Qiangtang Basin, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, where a lot of Mesozoic marine shale formations developed. Based on the survey results of petroleum geology and comprehensive test analysis data for Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, for the first time, this paper discusses characteristics of sedimentary development, thickness distribution, geochemistry, reservoir and burial depth of organic-rich shale, and geological conditions for shale gas formation in Qiangtang Basin. There are four sets of marine shale strata in Qiangtang Basin including Upper Triassic Xiaochaka Formation(T3x), Middle Jurassic Buqu Formation(J2b), Xiali Formation(J2x) and Upper Jurassic Suowa Formation(J3s), the sedimentary types of which are mainly bathyal-basin facies, open platform-platform margin slope facies, lagoon and tidal-flat facies, as well as delta facies. By comparing it with the indicators of gas shale in the main U.S. basins, it was found that the four marine shale formations in Qiangtang Basin constitute a multi-layer distribution of organic-rich shale, featuring a high degree of thickness and low abundance of organic matter, high thermal evolution maturity, many kinds of brittle minerals, an equivalent content of quartz and clay minerals, a high content of feldspar and low porosity, which provide basic conditions for an accumulation of shale gas resources. Xiaochaka Formation shale is widely distributed, with big thickness and the best gas generating indicators. It is the main gas source layer. Xiali Formation shale is of intermediate thickness and coverage area, with relatively good gas generating indicators and moderate gas formation potential. Buqu Formation shale and Suowa Formation shale are of relatively large thickness, and covering a small area, with poor gas generating indicators, and limited gas formation potential. The shale gas geological resources and technically recoverable resources were estimated by using geologic analogy method, and the prospective areas and potentially favorable areas for Mesozoic marine shale gas in Qiangtang Basin are forecast and analyzed. It is relatively favorable in a tectonic setting and indication of oil and gas, shale maturity, sedimentary thickness and gypsumsalt beds, and in terms of mineral association for shale gas accumulation. But the challenge lies in overcoming the harsh natural conditions which contributes to great difficulties in ground engineering and exploration, and high exploration costs. | YU Yuanjiang ZOU Caineng DONG Dazhong WANG Shejiao LI Jianzhong YANG Hua LI Denghua LI Xinjing WANG Yuman HUANG Jinliang | 2014 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2014,88,2: | 2

Unconventional Petroleum Sedimentology:A Key to Understanding Unconventional Hydrocarbon Accumulation显示文摘The commercial exploitation of unconventional petroleum resources(e.g.,shale oil/gas and tight oil/gas)has drastically changed the global energy structure within the past two decades.Sweet-spot intervals(areas),the most prolific unconventional hydrocarbon resources, generally consist of extraordinarily high organic matter(EHOM)deposits or closely associated sandstones/carbonate rocks. The formation of sweet-spot intervals(areas)is fundamentally controlled by their depositional and subsequent diagenetic settings, which result from the coupled sedimentation of global or regional geological events, such as tectonic activity, sea level(lake level)fluctuations, climate change, bottom water anoxia, volcanic activity, biotic mass extinction or radiation, and gravity flows during a certain geological period.Black shales with EHOM content and their associated high-quality reservoir rocks deposited by the coupling of major geological events provide not only a prerequisite for massive hydrocarbon generation but also abundant hydrocarbon storage space. The Ordovician-Silurian Wufeng-Longmaxi shale of the Sichuan Basin,Devonian Marcellus shale of the Appalachian Basin,Devonian-Carboniferous Bakken Formation of the Williston Basin, and Triassic Yanchang Formation of the Ordos Basin are four typical unconventional hydrocarbon systems selected as case studies herein. In each case, the formation of sweet-spot intervals for unconventional hydrocarbon resources was controlled by the coupled sedimentation of different global or regional geological events, collectively resulting in a favorable environment for the production, preservation, and accumulation of organic matter,as well as for the generation, migration, accumulation, and exploitation of hydrocarbons.Unconventional petroleum sedimentology, which focuses on coupled sedimentation during dramatic environmental changes driven by major geological events,is key to improve the understanding of the formation and distribution of sweet-spot intervals(areas)in unconventional petroleum systems. | Caineng Zou Zhen Qiu Jiaqiang Zhang Zhiyang Li Hengye Wei Bei Liu Jianhua Zhao Tian Yang Shifa Zhu Huifei Tao Fengyuan Zhang Yuman Wang Qin Zhang Wen Liu Hanlin Liu Ziqing Feng Dan Liu Jinliang Gao Rong Liu Yifan Li | 2022 | Engineering2022,,11: | 1

Bi/BiVO_(4)/NiFe-LDH heterostructures with enhanced photoelectrochemical performance for streptomycin detection显示文摘Streptomycin(STR)plays an essential role in bacterial infection treatments.Selectivity and sensitivity of photoelectrochemical(PEC)sensors are the two most important parameters, which can be measured using the photosensitivity of its active material. We prepared a novel PEC sensor to detect STR using Bi/BiVO4/LDH(layered double hydroxides)heterostructures as an active material, which is photoactive in the visible light wavelength range. The simultaneous presence of LDH and Bi/BiVO4 enhanced the material photocurrent response, which was linear to the STR concentrations in the 0.01–500 nmol/L range. The STR detection limit by this sensor was 0.0042 nmol/L.Our novel PEC-based sensing strategy includes using an ultra-sensitive and highly selective sensor for STR detection.Additionally, the two-pot synthesis of Bi/BiVO4/LDH developed in this work is environmentally friendly. | Liqin Yang Jun Zhao Caijun Wang Zheng Wang Cuijuan Xing Hao Guo Yuman Wang Zhiju Zhao Zhangji Hu Zhenyu Cai | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,11: | 1

| 20 | Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector. Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements, such as its low-energy threshold, high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors, and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors. In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable, assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition, approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected. This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter, which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle. Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better, depending on the central value, and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment.
