1Intra-familial prevalence of hepatitis B virologic markers in HBsAg positive family members in Nahavand, Iran显示文摘AIM: To determine the prevalence of hepatitis B in Nahavand and evaluate the HBsAg positive prevalence in families with a member who was confirmed to have HBV infection.METHODS: This study was performed in two phases. In the first phase, 1 824 subjects in Nahavand city were selected. The interviewers visited the houses of chosen families to fill the questionnaire and take the blood samples.All subjects signed an informed consent before interviews and blood sampling. The samples were evaluated for HBV virologic markers. In the second phase, 115 HBsAg-positive cases were enrolled and evaluated for HBV virologic markers.RESULTS: The prevalence of positive HBsAg in Nahavand was 2.3%. The most frequent relatives of index cases were sons and daughters (32.2% and 23.5% respectively).Twelve (11%) of all family members were HBsAg positive.Fifty (56.2%) were isolated HBsAb positive and only one person (2.5%) was isolated HBcAb positive. The higher rates of HBsAg marker were detected in the brothers (1-25%) and fathers (1-12.5%). The infection rate in husbands and wives of index cases was 10%. 2Influence of friction stir processing conditions on corrosion behavior of AZ31B magnesium alloy显示文摘The present study aims to investigate the effect of friction stir processing(FSP)conditions on the corrosion characteristic of AZ31B magnesium alloy.Specimens made of AZ31B alloy were friction stir processed under various processing conditions,and their microstructure and corrosion behavior were studied.The corrosion behavior was studied by potentiodynamic polarization,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS),and immersion test in 3.5%sodium chloride(NaCl)solution.The results showed a substantial improvement in the corrosion resistance of the friction stir processed AZ31B alloy.The improvement is likely a result of more stable corrosion products and microstructure refinement formed after friction sir processing.Hamed Seifiyan Mahmoud Heydarzadeh Sohi Mohammad Ansari Donya Ahmadkhaniha Mohsen Saremi 2019Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2019,7,4:6
3Multiplex qPCR for serodetection and serotyping of hepatitis viruses: A brief review显示文摘The present review describes the current status of multiplex quantitative real time polymerase chain reaction(q PCR) assays developed and used globally for detection and subtyping of hepatitis viruses in body fluids. Several studies have reported the use of multiplex q PCR for the detection of hepatitis viruses, including hepatitis A virus(HAV), hepatitis B virus(HBV), hepatitis C virus(HCV), hepatitis D virus(HDV), and hepatitis E virus(HEV). In addition, multiplex q PCR has also been developed for genotyping HBV, HCV, and HEV subtypes. Although a single step multiplex q PCR assay for all six hepatitis viruses, i.e., A to G viruses, is not yet reported, it may be available in the near future as the technologies continue to advance. All studies use a conserved region of the viral genome as the basis of amplification and hydrolysis probes as the preferred chemistries for improved detection. Based on a standard plot prepared using varying concentrations of template and the observed threshold cycle value, it is possible to determine the linear dynamic range and to calculate an exact copy number of virus in the specimen. 4INTERMOLECULAR INTERACTION OF A NEUTRAL POLYMERIC BONDING AGENT CONTAINING N-VINYLPYRROLIDONE UNITS WITH AMMONIUM PERCHLORATE AND KETO-RDX显示文摘The interaction of a new neutral polymeric bonding agent(NPBA) containing N-Vinylpyrrolidone units with two types of oxidizers(ammonium perchlorate and Keto-RDX) was investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR). NPBA forms a layer of film on the surface of oxidizers. 54-羟基壬烯醛在糖尿病大鼠白内障中的代谢及发病中的作用显示文摘目的研究脂质过氧化代谢产物4-羟基壬烯醛(HNE)在糖尿病性白内障中的代谢过程以及发病中的作用。方法实验研究。采用两因素析因设计:处理因素为两水平(正常对照组和糖尿病组),时间因素为三水平(30、45、70d)。对于不同时期的正常与糖尿病大鼠晶状体采用下列方法进行处理:(1)使用一定量的带有放射活性的HNE与这些晶状体一起培养,测定HNE在品状体的代谢;(2)分光光度计法测定醛脱氢酶(ALDH)活性;(3)免疫印迹法检测ALDH和HNE-蛋白质加合物的表达。采用两因素析因设计定量资料方差分析对资料进行统计学处理。结果HNE在正常对照组的晶状体的代谢主要是与谷胱甘肽(GSH)结合形成GS-HNE(约45%),其次为经ALDH氧化成HNA(约9.1%);但糖尿病组晶状体的HNE与GSH结合径路受到抑制,GS—HNE形成减少,与正常组相比30d时减少约64%(F=49.59,P〈0.001);而糖尿病组晶状体的ALDH氧化径路代偿增强,HNA形成增多,70d比30d增多约1.7倍(F=11.51,P=0.0442)。糖尿病组的晶状体ALDH活性增高,免疫印迹法显示ALDH较正常对照组增多,HNE-蛋白质加合物较对照组减少。结论糖尿病性白内障中HNE与GSH的结合径路受到抑制,而氧化径路代偿性增强,揭示了结合径路的损伤可能与白内障发生有密切关系,氧化径路的代偿增强可能对防止糖尿病性白内障的发生有一定的意义。肖天林 Mohammad hoeb Naseem .Ansari 2009中华眼科杂志2009,45,3:4
6Graph-theoretic defense mechanisms against false data injection attacks in smart grids显示文摘This paper addresses false data injection, which is one of the most significant security challenges in smart grids. Having an accurately estimated state is of great importance for maintaining a stable running condition of smart grids. To preserve the accuracy of the estimated state, bad data detection(BDD) mechanisms are utilized to remove erroneous measurements due to meter failures or outside attacks. In this paper we use a graph-theoretic formulation for false data injection attacks in smart grids and propose defense mechanisms to mitigate this type of attacks. To this end, we discuss characteristics of a typical smart grid graph such as planarity. Then we propose three different approaches to find optimal protected meters set: a fast and efficient heuristic algorithm that works well in practice, an approximation algorithm that provides guarantee for the quality of the protected set, and an exact algorithm that finds the optimal solution. 8Optimization of a continuous ultrasound assisted oxidative desulfurization(UAOD) process of diesel using response surface methodology(RSM) considering operating cost显示文摘A continuous-flow ultrasound-assisted oxidative desulfurization(UAOD)of partially hydro-treated diesel has been investigated using hydrogen peroxide-formic acid as simple and easy to apply oxidation system.The effects of different operating parameters of oxidation stage including residence time(2–24 min),formic acid to sulfur molar ratio(10–150),and oxidant to sulfur molar ratio(5–35)on the sulfur removal have been studied using response surface methodology(RSM)based on Box–Behnken design.Considering the operating costs of the continuous-flow oxidation stage including chemical and electrical energy consumption,the appropriate values of operating parameters were selected as follows:residence time of 16 min,the formic acid to sulfur molar ratio of 54.47,and the oxidant to sulfur molar ratio of 8.24.In these conditions,the sulfur removal and the volume ratio of the hydrocarbon phase to the aqueous phase were 86.90%and 4.34,respectively.By drastic reduction in the chemical consumption in the oxidation stage,the volume ratio of the hydrocarbon phase to the aqueous phase was increased up to 10.Therefore,the formic acid to sulfur molar ratio and the oxidant to sulfur molar ratio were obtained 23.64 and 3.58,respectively,which lead to sulfur removal of 84.38%with considerable improvements on the operating cost of oxidation stage in comparison with the previous works.Mohammad Dana Mohammad Amin Sobati Shahrokh Shahhosseini Aminreza Ansari 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,5:2
9Sinapic acid ameliorates D-galactosamine/lipopolysaccharideinduced fulminant hepatitis in rats:Role of nuclear factor erythroidrelated factor 2/heme oxygenase-1 pathways显示文摘BACKGROUND Sinapic acid(SA)has been shown to have various pharmacological properties such as antioxidant,antifibrotic,anti-inflammatory,and anticancer activities.Its mechanism of action is dependent upon its ability to curb free radical production and protect against oxidative stress-induced tissue injuries.AIM To study the hepatoprotective effects of SA against lipopolysaccharide(LPS)/Dgalactosamine(D-GalN)-induced acute liver failure(ALF)in rats.METHODS Experimental ALF was induced with an intraperitoneal(i.p.)administration of 8μg LPS and 800 mg/kg D-GalN in normal saline.SA was administered orally once daily starting 7 d before LPS/D-GalN treatment.RESULTS Data showed that SA ameliorates acute liver dysfunction,decreases serum levels of alanine transaminase(ALT),and aspartate aminotransferase(AST),as well as malondialdehyde(MDA)and NO levels in ALF model rats.However,pretreatment with SA(20 mg/kg and 40 mg/kg)reduced nuclear factor kappalight-chain-enhancer of activated B cells(NF-κB)activation and levels of inflammatory cytokines(tumor necrosis factor-αand interleukin 6).Also,SA increased the activity of the nuclear factor erythroid-related factor 2/heme oxygenase-1(Nrf2/HO-1)signaling pathway.CONCLUSION In conclusion,SA offers significant protection against LPS/D-GalN-induced ALF in rats by upregulating Nrf2/HO-1 and downregulating NF-κB.Mushtaq Ahmad Ansari Mohammad Raish Yousef A Bin Jardan Ajaz Ahmad Mudassar Shahid SheikhFayaz Ahmad Nazrul Haq Mohammad Rashid Khan Saleh A Bakheet 2021World Journal of Gastroenterology2021,27,7:2
10Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Quinazolonethiazoles as New Potential Conquerors towards Pseudomonas Aeruginosa显示文摘Novel quinazolonthiazoles were designed and synthesized as new potential antimicrobial agents by facile multi-step procedure from o-aminobenzoic acids and 2-acetylthiazole.A series of biological evaluation showed that compound 7d was the most effective quinazolonethiazole with superior activity to reference drugs chloramphenicol and norfloxacin.This active molecule displayed unob-vious bacterial resistance against P.aeruginosa,the low toxicity to normal hepatocytes,suitable pharmacokinetics and drug-likeness.The preliminary biological interaction suggested that quinazolonethiazole 7d might induce bacterial death by disturbing the membrane permeability,whilst preventing bacteria from growth by integrating into DNA and binding with topoisomerase IV.These findings provided significant background for the further development of quinazolonethiazoles as new potential drugs in combating drug-resistant pathogens.Jie Wang Narsaiah Battini Mohammad Fawad Ansari Cheng-He Zhou 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,5:2
