1EXPERIMENTS OF HYDRODYNAMICS AND STABILITY OF IMMERSED TUBE TUNNEL ON TRANSPORTATION AND IMMERSING显示文摘Effects of environment conditions, such as current, wave etc., are more important for immersed tube tunnel’s transportation and immersing. The hydrodynamics and stability of immersed tube tunnel during its towing and immersing are intersted for departments of design and construction. A serial model tests are made in towing tank and water channel for Nanjing immersed tube tunnel, and the first immersed tunnel has been designed in Yangtzi River in China. The hydrodynamic forces and rope tensions of the tunnel are measured with strain balances when it is towed by ship and immersed by winches for a different current velocity and wave height. 4VERIFICATION AND COMPARISON OF FORMULAS FOR BED LOAD TRANSPORT显示文摘WT5”BZ]Several typical formulas for bed load transport are examined based on field data in this paper. It is concluded that, the Einstein formula provides good estimates for the bed load transport rate while other ones predict much lower transport rates. The main reason for the under-prediction is that D p, the effective diameter of particles, is too large as a representative diameter of the bed material for gravel streams with partially movable bed. 7Effect of Supplementary Feeding on Growth Performance and Ruminal Fermentation in Winter Season Grazing Sheep显示文摘The experiment was conducted with twenty-four grazing sheep divided into 3 experimental groups on the basis of body weights,i.e.control,optimal and non-optimal groups to study the effect of optimized supplementation on growth performance and rumen fermentation characteristics of grazing sheep in winter.The sheep in control were grazing only,whereas the grazing sheep in the optimal were supplemented with 250 g of an optimal forage mix and 404 g of concentrate1.The animals in non-optimal were supplemented with 465 g of concentrate 2.Weight gain rate in the optimal increased by 1.2% and 15.3 % as compared to that of the non-optimal and control group,respectively.Ruminal fermentation parameters were not significantly different between the optimal and non-optimal groups,however,they were significantly improved compared to the control.These results indicated that optimized supplementation strategies in winter were beneficial for markedly improving growth performance and rumen fermentation characteristics of grazing sheep.H.L.Hu D.X. 14Foundry technology and its applications of ductile iron castings produced by water-cooled copper alloy Mold显示文摘The high efficiency mechanized foundry technology of castings produced by using water-cooled copper alloy permanent mold has been systematically studied. Through the researching a Cu-Cr-Mg alloy with high conductivity and good combined mechanical properties used for making permanent mold was developed, and the basic design principles of the water-cooled permanent mold along with the control-range of relevant foundry processing parameters were also established. A cast production line equipped with water-cooled copper alloy mold was designed and fabricated for production of ductile iron automobile gear castings, This production line can consistently make automobile gear castJngs Jn QT500-15 and QT600-5 (Chinese Standard) grades of ductile iron with up to 95% casting success rate.~*X.
