| 1 | A new global zenith tropospheric delay model IGGtrop for GNSS applications显示文摘Tropospheric delay is one of the main sources of measurement error in global navigation satellite systems.It is usually compensated by using an empirical correction model.In this paper,temporal and spatial variations of the global zenith tropospheric delay(ZTD) are further analyzed by ZTD time series from global International GNSS Service stations and annual ZTDs derived from global National Centers for Environmental Prediction reanalysis data,respectively.A new ZTD correction model,named IGGtrop,is developed based on the characteristics of ZTD.Experimental results show that this new 3D-grid-based model that accommodates longitudinal as well as latitudinal variations of ZTD performs better than latitude-only based models(such as UNB3,EGNOS,and UNB3m).The global average bias and RMS for IGGtrop are about-0.8 cm and 4.0 cm,respectively.Bias values for UNB3,EGNOS,and UNB3m are 2.0,2.0,and 0.7 cm,respectively,and respective RMS values 5.4,5.4,and 5.0 cm.IGGtrop shows much more consistent prediction errors for different areas than EGNOS and UNB3m,In China,the performance of IGGtrop(bias values from-2.0 to 0.4 cm and RMS from 2.1 to 6.4 cm) is clearly superior to those of EGNOS and UNB3m.It is also demonstrated that IGGtrop biases vary little with height,and its RMS values tend to decrease with increasing height.In addition,IGGtrop generally estimates ZTD with greater accuracy than EGNOS and UNB3m in the Southern Hemisphere. | LI Wei YUAN YunBin OU JiKun LI Hui LI ZiShen | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,17: | 32 |

| 6 | Effects of minor Sc on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu-Zr based alloys显示文摘Five kinds of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu-Zr based alloys with different Sc additions were prepared by ingot metallurgy. The effects of minor Sc on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu-Zr based alloys were investigated using tensile tests, optical microscopy (OM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results show that the ultimate tensile strength and yield strength are improved by 94 and 110 MPa, respectively, and the elongation to failure remains at a reasonable extent (11.1%) in the Al-Zn-Mg-Cu-Zr based alloy with 0.21 wt.% Sc addition after solution heat treatment at 475°C for 40 min and then aged at 120°C for 24 h. The addition of minor Sc induces the formation of Al3(Sc,Zr) particles, which are highly effective in refining the cast microstructures, retarding recrystallization, and pinning dislocations. | 7 | Yaw attitude of eclipsing GPS satellites and its impact on solutions from precise point positioning显示文摘During the period when a GPS satellite,the Earth and the Sun are approximately collinear,the phenomenon of eclipsing the satellite occurs,when the satellite yaw attitude deviates from its nominal case,i.e. the body X-axis cannot point towards the Sun for Block II&IIA or away from it for Block IIR satellites. The yaw attitude of the eclipsing satellites has a significant influence on both the satellite clock estimation at each International GNSS Service (IGS) Analysis Center (AC) and for users of the precise point positioning (PPP) implementations. It is known that,during the eclipsing periods,inconsistent yaw attitude models among the ACs will contribute to the errors of the IGS combined clock products. As for the PPP user,the influence of the eclipsing satellite is two-fold. First,as the satellite clocks are always kept fixed during PPP implementation,the above-mentioned problematic IGS clocks will inevitably be passed on to the PPP estimates. Second,the improper yaw attitude modeling of the eclipsing satellite will cause a correction bias exceeding 1 dm for the two kinds of attitude-related systematic errors,namely the phase wind-up and satellite antenna phase center offset,which will further deteriorate the accuracy of the PPP solutions. | 10 | Hydrogen isotope geochemistry of lherzolitic shergottite in Martian meteorite GRV99027 from the Grove Mountains in Antarctica显示文摘Hydrogen isotopic composition was measured using an ion microprobe for lherzolitic shergottite in Martian meteorite GRV 99027 from the Grove Mountains in Antarctica. The D/H ratios of phosphate whitlockites were analyzed and water concentrations of tested points were calculated. The result show that their δ D values vary from +1300‰ to +4700‰, and water contents from 0.04 wt% to 0.43 wt%. Comparing the results with the hydrogen isotopic compositions of whole rock, hydrous miner- als and phosphates in SNC meteorites indicates that water highly enriched in deuterium is a unique feature of Martian meteorites, especially the phosphates prominent. It is interpreted as the result of isotopic exchange between magmatic water and Martian crustal fluids. The high D/H ratios observed in GRV 99027 phosphates indicate that they have hydrogen isotopic compositions similar to those of apatite in other Martian meteorites. | 11 | Monitoring the ionosphere based on the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China显示文摘The Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS) is becoming important for monitoring the variations in the earth's ionosphere based on the total electron content(TEC) and ionospheric electron density(IED). The Crustal Movement Observation Network of China(CMONOC), which includes GNSS stations across China's Mainland, enables the continuous monitoring of the ionosphere over China as accurately as possible. A series of approaches for GNSS-based ionospheric remote sensing and software has been proposed and developed by the Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics(IGG) in Wuhan. Related achievements include the retrieval of ionospheric observables from raw GNSS data, differential code biases estimations in satellites and receivers, models of local and regional ionospheric TEC,and algorithms of ionospheric tomography. Based on these achievements, a software for processing GNSS data to determine the variations in ionospheric TEC and IED over China has been designed and developed by IGG. This software has also been installed at the CMONOC data centers belonging to the China Earthquake Administration and China Meteorological Administration. | 12 | In situ SIMS oxygen isotope analyses: Evidence for the formation of aluminum-rich chondrules from ordinary chondrites显示文摘Aluminum-rich chondrules(ARCs),which share mineralogic and chemical properties with both Ca,Al-rich inclusions(CAIs)and ferromagnesian chondrules,play an important role in revealing their temporal and petrogenetic relationships.In this work,seven ARCs were found in three ordinary chondrites GRV 022410(H4),GRV 052722(H3.7)and Julesburg(L3.6).They contain bulk Al2O3~17%-33%and exhibit igneous textures composed of olivine,high-and low-Ca pyroxene,plagioclase,spinel and glass.In situ SIMS analyses show that ARCs have oxygen isotopic compositions(δ18O=–6.1‰–7.1‰;δ17O=–4.5‰–5.1‰)close to ferromagnesian chondrules but far more depleted in 16O than CAIs(δ18O=-40‰;δ17O=-40‰).Most ARCs plot close to the terrestrial mass fractionation(TF)line,and a few between the TF and carbonaceous chondrite anhydrous mixing(CCAM)lines.Plagioclase,nepheline and glass suffered O-isotopic exchanges during the metamorphism processes in the parent body.Spinel,olivine and pyroxene represent the primary O-isotopic compositions of ARCs,and define a fitted line with a slope of^0.7±0.1.Compared with the results of previous studies,shallower slope as well as more depleted16O compositions further demonstrates that ARCs in ordinary chondrites are not a simple mixing product of ferromagnesian chondrules and CAIs.Instead,they probably experienced higher-degree oxygen isotope exchange with a 16O-poor nebular gas reservoir during multiple melting episodes. | JIANG Yun HSU WeiBiao GUAN YunBin WANG Ying | 2015 | Science China Earth Sciences2015,58,10: | 4 |

| 20 | Preparation and Anti-ultraviolet Aging Performance of Organic Layered Double Hydroxides/Bitumen Composites显示文摘Layered double hydroxides(LDHs) with the physical property of high ultraviolet(UV)reflectance were used to enhance the anti-UV aging performance of bitumen. In view of the poor compatibility of LDHs with bitumen, three organic anions, namely, sodium dodecyl benzenesulfonate(SDBS), sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) and sodium dodecyl sulfonate(SDSO), were used as modifiers to prepare organic LDHs(OCLDHs) through regeneration process, and the crystal structure, chemical composition, morphological feature and UV shielding capability of synthesized OCLDHs were analyzed. Then the OCLDHs were added into bitumen to evaluate the storage stability and anti-UV aging property of OCLDHs/bitumen composites.The results show that the organic anions are inserted into the interlayers of LDHs, the intercalation expands the interlayer distance of LDHs, makes the particle shapes become more irregular and complicated, and enhances the absorption ability within the range from 200 to 300 nm while has little influence on the UV reflection ability.Result of high temperature storage stability indicates the organic modification ameliorates the compatibility of LDHs with bitumen. Compared with LDHs, OCLDHs decrease the deteriorations of bitumen’s properties during UV exposure test, exhibiting better effect in enhancing anti-UV aging performance of bitumen.
