2Wind-induced instabilities and monitoring of wind turbine显示文摘This paper presents real-time monitoring data and analysis results of the non-stationary vibrations of an operational wind turbine. The advanced time-frequency spectrum analysis reveals varied non-stationary vibrations with timevarying frequencies, which are correlated with certain system natural modes characterized by finite element analysis. Under the effects of strong wind load, the wind turbine system exhibits certain resonances due to blade passing excitations. The system also exhibits certain instabilities due to the coupling of the tower bending modes and blade flapwise mode with blade passing excitations under the variation of wind speed. An analytical model is used to elaborate the non-stationary and instability phenomena observed in experimental results. 8The role of cellular and molecular neuroimmune crosstalk in gut immunity显示文摘The gastrointestinal tract is densely innervated by the peripheral nervous system and populated by the immune system.These two systems critically coordinate the sensations of and adaptations to dietary,microbial,and damaging stimuli from the external and internal microenvironment during tissue homeostasis and inflammation.The brain receives and integrates ascending sensory signals from the gut and transduces descending signals back to the gut via autonomic neurons.Neurons regulate intestinal immune responses through the action of local axon reflexes or through neuronal circuits via the gut-brain axis.This neuroimmune crosstalk is critical for gut homeostatic maintenance and disease resolution.In this review,we discuss the roles of distinct types of gut-innervating neurons in the modulation of intestinal mucosal immunity.We will focus on the molecular mechanisms governing how different immune cells respond to neural signals in host defense and inflammation.We also discuss the therapeutic potential of strategies targeting neuroimmune crosstalk for intestinal diseases.Daping Yang Nicole Almanzar Isaac M.Chiu 2023Cellular & Molecular Immunology2023,20,11:1

10SPONGE:A GPU-Accelerated Molecular Dynamics Package with Enhanced Sampling and AI-Driven Algorithms显示文摘SPONGE(Simulation Package tOward Next GEneration molecular modeling)is a software package for molecular dynamics(MD)simulation of solution and surface molecular systems.In this version of SPONGE,the all-atom potential energy functions used in AMBER MD packages are used by default and other all-atom/coarse-grained potential energy functions are also supported.SPONGE is designed to extend the timescale being approached in MD simulations by utilizing the latest CUDA-enabled graphical processing units(GPU)and adopting highly efficient enhanced sampling algorithms,such as integrated tempering,selective integrated tempering and enhanced sampling of reactive trajectories.It is highly modular and new algorithms and functions can be incorporated con veniently.Particularly,a specialized Python plugin can be easily used to perform the machine learning MD simulation with MindSpore,TensorFlow,PyTorch or other popular machine learning frameworks.Furthermore,a plugin of Finite-Element Method(FEM)is also available to handle metallic surface systems.All these advanced features increase the power of SPONGE for modeling and simulation of complex chemical and biological systems.Yu-Peng Huang Yijie Xia Lijiang Yang Jiachen Wei Yi Isaac Yang Yi Qin Gao 2022Chinese Journal of Chemistry2022,40,1:1

16Impact of climate change on outdoor design conditions and implications to peak loads显示文摘This study exams the impact of climate change on outdoor design conditions and peak loads of five Chinese cities over the five major climate zones for the winter and summer conditions.The design dry-bulb temperature(DDBT)and the coincident wet-bulb temperature(CWBT)for two 30-year periods;1971–2000 and 1984–2013 were analysed.It was found that the DDBT of the period 1984–2013 was higher than that of the period 1971–2000,whereas the CWBT and the corresponding outdoor enthalpy of the period 1984–2013 was lower than that of 1971–2000 at the various cumulative frequencies.This trend implies that the increment in conductive heat gain through the building envelope due to the rising temperature can be lower than the reduction in fresh air load due to the lower outdoor air enthalpy.In this case,the peak cooling loads may reduce in all five cities under study,and this is different from the widely held view that global warming will lead to more stringent outdoor design conditions,higher peak cooling loads and larger heating,ventilation and air conditioning(HVAC)plants than the current or historical status.The implications to the“free-cooling”of HVAC systems with enthalpy control are discussed as well.Xujie Huo Liu Yang Danny Hin Wa Li Isaac Lun Siwei Lou Yuan Shi 2022Building Simulation2022,15,12:0
