| 1 | Current role and future perspectives of cardiac rehabilitation in coronary heart disease显示文摘Ischaemic heart disease(IHD)is a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide.While there have been major advances in this field,these patients are still a higher risk subgroup.As such,strategies to mitigate risk and tailor secondary prevention measures are of the utmost relevance.Cardiac rehabilitation(CR),encompassing several domains including exercise training,cardiovascular risk factor optimization,nutritional and psychological assessments,as well as other ancillary interventions has shown to be one of the pillars in the contemporary management of patients with IHD.Indeed,CR is associated with several benefits in this population,ranging from functional capacity to improvements in outcomes.Whilst this,there are still several issues concerning the optimal application of CR which are still not fully ascertained,such as lack of referral and completion,as well as questions related to programme design(particularly among patients with multiple comorbidities).In this review,we aim at presenting a pragmatic overview on the current role of CR in the management of individuals with IHD,while also discussing some of the caveats in the current data,as well as future concepts which could help improve the uptake and personalization of this pivotal time-tested intervention. | Eduardo M Vilela Ricardo Ladeiras-Lopes Ana Joao Joana Braga Susana Torres Sofia Viamonte José Ribeiro Madalena Teixeira José P Nunes Ricardo Fontes-Carvalho | 2021 | World Journal of Cardiology2021，13，12： | 5 |
| 2 | Color pref ere nee cool versus warm in nursing homes depends on the expected activity for interior spaces显示文摘This study explores the color preferences of elderly residents of nursing homes based on the expected activities for different rooms,activity rooms,and bedrooms and compares the results with the arousal level induced by each color.Two experime nts were con ducted,one with elderly people living in nursing homes in the Valen cian Comm unity,and the other in a laboratory with virtual reality and physiological markers(i.e.,heart rate variability).I dlviduals assessed six colors in two groups of warm and cool.Results demonstrate that preferences for warm and cool colors depend on the room type.For the activity room,warm colors were preferred over the cool colors by both genders,fitting the higher arousal levels induced by warm versus cool colors.For the bedrooms,cool colors were preferred by both genders,fitting the lower arousal levels induced by cool colors in females and the other models that suggest a U-shaped relation between the arousal level and the visible spectra of colors.Therefore,the color preferences for interior spaces in nursing homes depend on the room type and are related to the arousal level for the expected activity in them. | Ana Torres Juan Serra Jorge Llopis Anna Delcampo | 2020 | Frontiers of Architectural Research2020，9，4： | 4 |

| 5 | In vitro antioxidant,antilipoxygenase and antimicrobial activities of extracts from seven climbing plants belonging to the Bignoniaceae显示文摘Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the in vitro antioxidant capacity, to determine the antiinflammatory effect due to lipoxygenase inhibition and to test the antimicrobial activity of ethanolic extracts from leaves of seven climbing species belonging to the Bignoniaceae family. These species are Adenocalymma marginatum(Cham.) DC., Amphilophium vauthieri DC., Cuspidaria convoluta(Vell.) A. H.Gentry, Dolichandra dentata(K. Schum.) L. G. Lohmann, Fridericia caudigera(S. Moore) L. G. Lohmann,Fridericia chica(Bonpl.) L. G. Lohmann and Tanaecium selloi(Spreng.) L. G. Lohmann.Methods: The antioxidant activity was evaluated using three methods, 2,20-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazo line-6-sulfonic acid)(ABTS), 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH), and ferric reducing antioxidant power. Lipoxygenase-inhibiting activity was assayed spectrophotometrically; the result was expressed as percent inhibition. The antimicrobial activity was assessed using the agar disk diffusion method.Minimal inhibitory concentration(MIC) and minimal bactericidal/fungicidal concentration were also determined for each extract against 12 pathogenic bacterial strains of Staphylococcus aureus and seven fungal strains of the Candida genus. The identification of the major compounds present in the most promising extract was established by high-performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry.Results: C. convoluta, F. caudigera, and F. chica exhibited the best antioxidant activity by scavenging DPPH and ABTS+radicals and reducing Fe3+ion. These extracts showed a notable inhibition of lipoxygenase.F. caudigera was found to have the lower MIC value against S. aureus strains and six Candida species.The extracts of F. caudigera and C. convoluta were active even against methicillin-resistant S. aureus.C. convoluta had higher total phenol content, better antioxidant activity and superior antiinflammatory and antimicrobial activity. The main phenolic compounds found in this extract were coumaric and hydroxybenzoic acid derivatives and glycosylated and nonglycosylated flavones.Conclusion: Most of the extracts exhibited antioxidant activity as well as in vitro inhibition of lipoxygenase. The excellent antimicrobial activity of T. selloi and F. chica supports their use in traditional medicine as antiseptic agents. The extracts of F. caudigera and C. convoluta, both with notable biological activities in this study, could be used as herbal remedies for skin care.
