1Prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder in China:A Nationwide Multi-center Population-based Study Among Children Aged 6 to 12 Years显示文摘This study aimed to obtain the first national estimate of the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder(ASD) in Chinese children.We targeted the population of 6 to 12-year-old children for this prevalence study by multistage convenient cluster sampling.The Modified Chinese Autism Spectrum Rating Scale was used for the screening process.Of the target population of 142,086 children,88.5%(n=125,806) participated in the study.A total of 363 children were confirmed as having ASD.The observed ASD prevalence rate was 0.29%(95% CI:0.26%-0.32%) for the overall population.After adjustment for response rates,the estimated number of ASD cases was867 in the target population sample,thereby achieving an estimated prevalence of 0.70%(95% CI:0.64%-0.74%).The prevalence was significantly higher in boys than in girls(0.95%;95% CI:0.87%-1.02% versus 0.30%;95%CI:0.26%-0.34%;P <0.001).Of the 363 confirmed ASD cases,43.3% were newly diagnosed,and most of those(90.4%) were attending regular schools,and 68.8% of the children with ASD had at least one neuropsychiatric comorbidity.Our findings provide reliable data on the estimated ASD prevalence and comorbidities in Chinese children.Hao Zhou Xiu Xu Weili Yan Xiaobing Zou Lijie Wu Xuerong Luo Tingyu Li Yi Huang Hongyan Guan Xiang Chen Meng Mao Kun Xia Lan Zhang Erzhen Li Xiaoling Ge Lili Zhang Chunpei Li Xudong Zhang Yuanfeng Zhou Ding Ding Andy Shih Eric Fombonne Yi Zheng Jisheng Han Zhongsheng Sun Yong-hui Jiang Yi Wang LATENT-NHC Study Team 2020Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,9:158

4Straw return and appropriate tillage method improve grain yield and nitrogen efficiency of winter wheat显示文摘Straw return is an important management tool for tackling and promoting soil nutrient conservation and improving crop yield in Huang-Huai-Hai Plain, China. Although the incorporation of maize straw with deep plowing and rotary tillage practices are widespread in the region, only few studies have focused on rotation tillage. To determine the effects of maize straw return on the nitrogen(N) efficiency and grain yield of winter wheat(Triticum aestivum L.), we conducted experiments in this region for 3 years. Five treatments were tested:(i) rotary tillage without straw return(RT);(ii) deep plowing tillage without straw return(DT);(iii) rotary tillage with total straw return(RS);(iv) deep plowing tillage with total straw return(DS);(v) rotary tillage of 2 years and deep plowing tillage in the 3rd year with total straw return(TS). Treatments with straw return increased kernels no. ear^(–1), thousand-kernel weight(TKW), grain yields, ratio of dry matter accumulation post-anthesis, and nitrogen(N) efficiency whereas reduced the ears no. ha^(–1) in the 2011–2012 and 2012–2013 growing seasons. Compared with the rotary tillage, deep plowing tillage significantly increased the grain yield, yield components, total dry matter accumulation, and N efficiency in 2013–2014. RS had significantly higher straw N distribution, soil inorganic nitrogen content, and soil enzymes activities in the 0–10 cm soil layer compared with the DS and TS. However, significantly lower values were observed in the 10–20 and 20–30 cm soil layers. TS obtained approximately equal grain yield as DS, and it also reduced the resource costs. 5Polymorphisms in PPARD,PPARG and APM1 associated with four types of Traditional Chinese Medicine constitutions显示文摘Based on the theory of constitution of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the human population is divided into nine constitutions including one balanced constitution (Normality) and eight unbalanced constitutions (Yang-deficiency, Yin-deficiency, Phlegm-wetness, Qi-deficiency, Wetness-heat, Blood stasis, Depressed constitution, and Inherited special constitution). Different constitutions have specific metabolic features and different susceptibility to certain diseases. However, whether a genetic basis accounts for such constitution classifica-tion is yet to be determined. Here we performed a genetic study to assess the association between genetic variations of metabolic genes in-cluding PPARD, PPARG and APM1 and the constitutions. A total of 233 individuals of the Han population in China were classified into four groups, Normality, Yang-deficiency, Yin-deficiency and Phlegm-wetness with whom 23 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the three genes were genotyped using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) method. Biased distri-bution of PPARD rs2267669 and rs2076167, APM1 rs7627128 and rs1063539 in Yang-deficiency, PPARG Pro12Ala in Yin-deficiency and PPARD rs2076167, APM1 rs266729 and rs7627128 in Phlegm-wetness were observed. The frequencies of Haplotype13 (Hap13) of PPARG in Yin-deficiency, Hap25 of APM1 in Yang-deficiency and Hap2 of PPARD and Hap14 of PPARG in Phlegm-wetness, were significantly different from those in Normality, suggesting those might be group-associated haplotypes. 7Improving the accuracy of GRACE Earth's gravitational field using the combination of different inclinations显示文摘In this paper, the GRACE Earth’s gravitational eld complete up to degree and order 120 is recovered based on the combination of di erent inclinations using the energy conservation principle. The results show that because di erent inclinations of satellite are sensitive to the geopotential coe cients with di erent degrees l and orders m, the design of GRACE exploiting 89° inclination can e ectively improve the accuracy of geopotential zonal harmonic coe cients. However, it is less sensitive to the geopotential tesseral harmonic coef- cients. Accordingly, the second group of GRACE exploiting lower inclination is required to determine high-accurately the geopotential tesseral harmonic coe cients and cover the shortage of the single group of GRACE exploiting 89o inclination. Two groups of GRACE individually exploiting 89° + (82°–84°) inclinations are the optimal combination of the Earth’s gravitational eld recovery complete up to degree and order 120. 10A shallow aftershock sequence in the north-eastern end of the Wenchuan earthquake aftershock zone显示文摘Previous studies show that mature faults are filled with fault gouge in the shallow part and thus cannot accumulate enough strain energy for earthquakes. Therefore most earthquakes are deeper than 5 km, except those events occurring on new faults or in intact rocks. From field observation, Wenchuan earthquake is found to rupture the free surface about 200 km, but the rupture may extend underground much further from teleseismic body waves inversion and aftershocks distribution. In the northeastern end of the rupture zone, deep rupture may induce stress increase near the free surface, and trigger shallow earthquakes. An Ms 5.7 aftershock occurred at Qingchuan, northeast end of Wenchuan earthquake fault on July 24, 2008, featuring thrust mechanism with a 3 km source centroid depth. The shallow focal depth is confirmed with the sPL phase recorded at station L0205. As Rayleigh wave is well only developed for source depth less than 1/5 of epicentral distance, the observed large amplitude of Rg at a distance of 15 km implied depth of 3 km or less. Dozens of aftershocks' sPL waveforms are also analyzed to confirm the source depths less than 3 km. On the other hand, no surface ruptures are found by geological survey or InSAR studies. 11Indoor Allergen Levels and Household Distributions in Nine Cities Across China显示文摘Objective Chinese allergic subjects have high levels of sensitization to house dust mite(HDM) and other indoor allergens. This study quantifies common indoor allergen levels in Chinese households. Methods Dust samples were collected from nine cities. Major allergens Der p 1 and Der f 1 from Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus and D. farinae, and specific antigens of Blomia tropicalis, Tyrophagus putrescentiae, Acarus siro, and cockroach species Blattella germanica and Periplaneta americana were measured by ELISA. Results HDM allergens were found in dust samples from bedding in 95% of the Chinese households. The median levels varied from <0.006 to 9.2 μg/g of dust, depending on the city. The percentages of households having HDM allergen levels associated with the risk of developing allergy sensitization and asthma were 65% and 25%, respectively. Specific antigens of the storage mite and cockroach were only found in samples from the southern and tropical regions of China. Levels of mite allergens were generally higher in samples from bedding compared to samples from the living room, even for storage mites, whereas levels of cockroach antigens were higher in the living room samples. Conclusion HDM allergens are present in bedding dust samples from most Chinese households. Cities in southern and central China have relatively high levels of HDM major allergens compared to cities in northern and western China. 12Average slip rate, earthquake rupturing segmentation and recurrence behavior on the Litang fault zone, western Sichuan Province, China显示文摘The Litang fault zone (LFZ) is an active fault zone within the northwestern Sichuan sub-block. Field investigation reveals new evidence for its late Quaternary offset, neoteric earthquake ruptures and surface-rupturing segmentation, from which long-term slip-rates, char-acteristic earthquake magnitudes and recurrence intervals on the fault zone are estimated. This study shows that the LFZ consists of three subordinate faults, and they are the northern Maoyaba fault, Litang fault and Kangga-Dewu fault, respectively. All of them are dominated by left-lateral strike-slip with reverse dip-slip component on different segments. Based on offset landforms and ages of relevant deposits collected from seven sites, it is estimated that the average left-lateral slip-rate on the LFZ reaches 4.0±1.0 mm/a in the past 14 ka BP, and vertical (reverse) dip-slip rate in the range of 0.1―1.8 mm/a. Three subordinate faults are independent earthquake rup-turing segments, on which the maximum moment magnitude of the characteristic earthquakes is estimated to be 7.0―7.3, and their average recurrence interval to be 500―1000 a. The latest earthquake ruptures occurred 119±2 years ago on the northern Maoyaba fault, about 1890 AD on the Litang fault, and in 1948 AD on the Kangga-Dewu fault, and this may indicate a unidirectional migration for surface rupturing earthquakes along the Litang fault zone, related to stress trigger-ing between the segments.XU Xiwei1, WEN Xueze2, YU Guihua1, ZHENG Rongzhang1, LUO Haiyuan2 & ZHENG Bin2 1. 17Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma inhibits hepatic fibrosis in rats显示文摘BACKGROUND:Hepatic fibrosis is a necessary step in the development of hepatic cirrhosis.In this study we used lentiviral vector-mediated transfection technology to evaluate the effect of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma(PPAR-γ) on rat hepatic fibrosis. METHODS:Hepatic fibrosis in rats was induced by CCl4 for 2 weeks(early fibrosis)and 8 weeks(sustained fibrosis).The rats were randomly divided into four groups:normal control, fibrosis,blank vector,and PPAR-γ.They were infected with the recombinant lentiviral expression vector carrying the rat PPAR-γgene by portal vein injection.The liver of the rats was examined histologically and hydroxyproline was assessed.In vitro primary hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)were infected with the recombinant lentiviral expression vector carrying the rat PPAR-γgene.The status of HSC proliferation was measured by the MTT assay.The protein levels of PPAR-γ,α-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA)and type I collagen expression were evaluated by the Western blotting method. RESULTS:In vitro studies revealed that expression of PPAR-γ inhibited expression ofα-SMA and type I collagen in activated HSCs(P<0.01)as well as HSC proliferation(P<0.01).In vivo experiments indicated that in the early hepatic fibrosis group,the hydroxyproline content and the level of collagen I protein in the liver in the PPAR-γtransfected group were not significantly different compared to the hepatic fibrosis group and the blank vector group;whereas the expressions of PPAR-γ andα-SMA were different compared to the hepatic fibrosis group(P<0.01).In the sustained hepatic fibrosis group,there were significant differences in the hydroxyproline content and the expression of PPAR-γ,α-SMA,and type I collagen between each group.CONCLUSION:PPAR-γcan inhibit HSC proliferation and hepatic fibrosis,and suppressα-SMA and type I collagen expression.ZhengWang,Jia-Peng Xu,Yong-Chao Zheng,Wei Chen,Yong-Wei Sun,Zhi-YongWu and Meng Luo Department of General Surgery,Renji Hospital,Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine,Shanghai 200127,China 2011Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases International2011,10,1:18
18Porphyrin-like Fe-N4 sites with sulfur adjustment on hierarchical porous carbon for different rate-determining steps in oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘We developed a strategy based on coordination polymer to synthesize singleatom site Fe/N and S-codoped hierarchical porous carbon (Fe1/N,S-PC).The as-obtained Fe1/N,S-PC exhibited superior oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) performance with a half-wave potential (Ev2,0.904 V vs.RHE) that was better than that of commercial Pt/C (E1/2,0.86 V vs.RHE),single-atom site Fe/N-doped hierarchical porous carbon (Fe1/N-PC) without S-doped (E1/2,0.85 V vs.RHE),and many other nonprecious metal catalysts in alkaline medium.Moreover,the Fe1/N,S-PC revealed high methanol tolerance and firm stability.The excellent electrocatalytic activity of Fe1/N,S-PC is attributed to the synergistic effects from the atomically dispersed porphyrin-like Fe-N4 active sites,the heteroatom codoping (N and S),and the hierarchical porous structure in the carbon materials.The calculation based on density functional theory further indicates that the catalytic performance of Fe1/N,S-PC is better than that of Fe1/N-PC owing to the sulfur doping that yielded different rate-determining steps.Konglin Wu Xin Chen Shoujie Liu Yuan Pan Weng-Chon Cheong Wei Zhu Xing Cao Rongan Shen Wenxing Chen Jun LUO Wensheng Yan Lirong Zheng Zheng Chen Dingsheng Wang Qing Peng Chen Chen Yadong Li 2018Nano Research2018,11,12:18
