| 1 | Postmarketing safety evaluation: depside salt injection made from Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae)显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To systematically examine the postmarketing safety of depside salt injection made from Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae),identifythe potential risk factors, and ensure its clinical safety.METHODS: We examined a comprehensive series of studies on the production process, quality standards, pharmacology, population pharmacokinetics, and safety evaluation of depside salt injection made from Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae). Data from Ⅰ-Ⅳ clinical drug trials, hospital information systems(HIS), and spontaneous reporting systems(SRS) were also analyzed.RESULTS: The effective components of salvianolic acid salt content reached almost 100%, and the magnesium lithospermate B content reached morethan 80%. The median lethal dose(LD50) calculated by the Bliss method was 1.49 g/kg, with 95%confidence intervals of 1.29-1.72 g/kg. Long-term tests on Beagle dogs indicated that doses of less than 80 mg/kg were safe and doses of 320 mg/kg were toxic. Adverse drug reactions(ADRs) included digestive disorders; drug-induced erythrocyte deformation in lung, liver, spleen, kidney, bone marrow, intestinal mucosa, lymph nodes, and other tissues; megakaryocytes in lung, liver, and spleen resulting from mild hemolysis; and mild hyperplasia in bone marrow hematopoietic tissue. Other studies indicated no irritative effect of the injection on local tissues and blood vessels, and no allergic reactions, erythrocyte coagulation, or hemolysis. SRS data showed that the most common ADRs were headache, head distention, dizziness, facial flushing, skin itching, thrombocytopenia, and the reversibility of elevated Aspartate transaminase. HIS data indicated no damage to renal function from using depside salt injection made from Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae) at a dosage higher than the recommended dose.CONCLUSION: This study analyzes the clinical characteristics of ADRs from depside salt injection made from Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae),and discusses the factors influencing such reactions. | 3 | Efficacy and safety of chemotherapy combined with bevacizumab in Chinese patients with metastatic colorectal cancer:A prospective,multicenter,observational,non-interventional phaseⅣtrial显示文摘Objective:Bevacizumab has an important and evolving role in improving outcomes in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC)worldwide and was approved in China in 2010.However,there are limited real-world data on the efficacy and safety of chemotherapy regimens combined with bevacizumab in Chinese patients with mCRC.This observational,phase IV trial study aimed to obtain more experience on the efficacy and safety of bevacizumab combined with chemotherapy in Chinese mCRC patients.Methods:Between September 2013 and November 2016,patients with histologically confirmed mCRC were enrolled in a prospective,multicenter,observational,non-interventional phase IV trial at 26 centers across China.Eligible patients received different chemotherapeutic regimens combined with bevacizumab.The efficacy and safety data in the intention-to-treat study population were analyzed.Results:A total of 611 patients were included in the efficacy analysis.The median overall survival and median progression-free survival was 18.00 and 10.05 months,respectively.The objective response rate was 21.00%and disease control rate was 89.40%.In subgroup analyses,the survival differences were observed according to metastatic status,duration of treatment and elevation in blood pressure.A total of 613 patients were evaluable for safety assessments.And 569(92.82%)patients reported at least one adverse event(AE),and 151(24.63%)experienced grade 3 or higher AEs.The incidence of bevacizumab-associated AEs of special interest was reported in 31(5.06%)patients with hypertension(n=12),abscesses and fistulae(n=7),bleeding(n=6),proteinuria(n=3),gastrointestinal perforation(n=2)and venous thrombotic events(n=1).Conclusions:This observational phase IV trial broadens our experience and knowledge of bevacizumab in the Chinese population and provides a good indication of its overall efficacy and safety.Bevacizumab in combination with chemotherapy offers clinical benefits to Chinese patients with mCRC and has an acceptable and manageable safety profile. | Fenghua Wang Guanghai Dai Yanhong Deng Yong Tang Wei Wang Zuoxing Niu Feng Bi Liangjun Zhu Zengqing Guo Jin Yan Bing Hu Min Tao Shujun Yang Suzhan Zhang Lu Wen Ruihua Xu | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,4: | 2 |
| 4 | A Preliminary Study on the Theory of Polar Coordinates Digital Photogrammetry and the Coordinate System of Spatial Information显示文摘The development of new aeronautics and astronautics technologies has been constrained by strict mathematical rules for data processing among the diverse methods used to obtain spatial information.The acquisition of spatial information has been affected by various choices including the applied technologies(e.g.,push broom sensors),techniques(e.g.,zoom imaging),and equipment settings(e.g.,swing angle,aerial platform attitude,camera angle)in terms of the convergence,efficiency,and accuracy of the data.Based on the principle of the bionic machine parallax angle and pyramidal projection of the aerial space platform to the surface,this study explored solutions for high-resolution image sparsity,ill-conditioned singularity,and non-convergence by building a set of mathematical models to process the polar coordinates of the parallax angular vector.This study also formed a polar information theory for initial spatial information.This method improved the ranges of accuracy,efficiency,and anti-interference in close-range photogrammetry and the free net bundle adjustment model by several orders of magnitude.The open source code was made globally available more than 3 years ago,and has received positive reactions.The method’s effectiveness was verified using aerophotogrammetry and absolute network adjustment model experiments,and its performance was better than that of the Cartesian coordinate processing method.Finally,the higher-order solution characteristics of various applications and spaceflight platforms were provided,which are expected to provide a foundation for construction of a new polar coordinate system for aerospace multi-scale all-attitude spatial information acquisition,organization,management,storage,processing,and application. | Lei YAN Ruihua ZHANG Yanbiao SUN | 2018 | Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2018,1,1: | 2 |
| 5 | Antibacterial evaporator based on reduced graphene oxide/polypyrrole aerogel for solar-driven desalination显示文摘Solar-driven water evaporation is a sustainable method to purify seawater.Nevertheless,traditional volumetric water-evaporation systems suffer from the poor sunlight absorption and inefficient light-to-thermal conversion.Also,their anti-bacterial and antifouling performances are crucial for the practical application.Herein,we introduce reduced graphene oxide(RGO)with broadband absorbance across the entire solar spectrum,and polypyrrole(PPy),an antibacterial polymer with efficient solar absorption and low thermal conductivity,to develop integrated RGO/PPy aerogel as both the solar absorber and evaporator for highly efficient solar-driven steam generation.As a result,the RGO/PPy aerogel shows strong absorption and good photothermal performance,leading to an evaporation rate of 1.44 kg·m^(−2)·h^(−1)and high salt rejection(up to 99.99%)for real seawater,with photothermal conversion efficiency>90%under one sun irradiation.The result is attributed to the localized heat at the air-water interface by the RGO/PPy and its porous nature with functional groups that facilitates the water evaporation.Moreover,the RGO/PPy demonstrates excellent durability and antibacterial efficiency close to 100%for 12 h,crucial characteristics for longterm application.Our well-designed RGO/PPy aerogel with efficient water desalination performance and antibacterial property provides a straightforward approach to improve the solar-driven evaporation performance by multifunctional materials integration,and offers a viable route towards practical seawater desalination. | Mengru Zhang Fan Xu Wenjie Liu Yaqi Hou Liyun Su Xin Zhang Ruihua Zhang Lijun Zhou Xiaomei Yan Miao Wang Xu Hou Yang Cao | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,4: | 2 |

| 11 | Hormone-like activities of Kuntai capsule in the uteri of ovariectomized rats and immature rabbits显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the hormone-like activities of Kuntai capsule(KTC) in the uteri of ovariectomized rats and immature rabbits.METHODS: Following bilateral ovariectomy, rats were randomly divided into six groups including sham group, control group, estradiol valerate group, KTC 0.24, 0.6, and 1.5 g/kg groups. The rats were treated with 0.5% CMC-Na, estradiol valerate and KTC(0.24, 0.6, and 1.5 g/kg), respectively for 28 consecutive days. Then the estrous cycle, uterine changes and pathological changes were examined.Serum levels of estradiol(E2), and progesterone(P4)were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). Protein levels of estradiol receptor(ER), progesterone receptor(PR), vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF), proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) and nuclear-associated antigen-67(Ki-67) in uterine tissues were detected by western blot. Immature rabbits were estrogen-primed prior to intragastric administration with KTC for 6 d consecutively. Then, the uteri underwent hematoxylin-eosin staining to observe endometrial transformation.RESULTS: Compared with the control group, 0.6and 1.5 g/kg KTC markedly decreased the uterine organ coefficient and endometrial thickness(P <0.05). The serum level of P4 was increased in the KTC 0.6 g/kg group(P < 0.05). There were no significant variations in the serum level of E2 in the KTC groups compared with the control group. ERβ, but not ERα, was markedly upregulated after KTC administration(P < 0.05). Furthermore, 1.5 g/kg KTC significantly decreased the protein level of PRA(P <0.05) and 0.6 g/kg KTC increased the protein level of PRB in the uteri(P < 0.05). VEGF was highly expressed after treatment with 0.24 and 0.6 g/kg KTC,and Ki-67 was markedly reduced in ovariectomized rats treated with 1.5 g/kg KTC. No difference was found in the expression of PCNA. | 16 | Ultrafast photocarrier and coherent phonon dynamics in type-II Dirac semimetal PtTe2 thin films probed by optical spectroscopy显示文摘We report the ultrafast photocarrier dynamics and coherent phonon excitation in type-II Dirac semimetal platinum ditelluride(PtTe2)thin films via femtosecond(fs)pump-probe spectroscopy at room temperature.Quantitative analysis revealed that the incoherent electronic relaxation consists of two components:a subpicosecond fast relaxation process and a slow component with a time constant of hundreds of picoseconds(ps).Furthermore,the launch of a coherent acoustic phonon(CAP)in the 20 nm film but absence in the 6.8 nm film uncovers the dominant role of temperature gradient in producing a strain wave.The sound velocity and Young’s modulus in the thick PtTe_(2) are determined to be 1.736 km/s and 29.5 GPa,respectively.In addition,the coherent optical phonon(COP)with a frequency of 4.7 THz corresponding to Te atoms out-of-plane A1g vibration has been well resolved in all films,which is ascribed to displacive excitation of coherent phonon(DECP).The observation of a strong probe-wavelength dependent COP amplitude reveals the resonant feature of the optical excitation-induced atomic displacement in PtTe2.Our findings provide deep insight into the excitation and dynamics of CAP and COP as well as the photocarriers’recovery pathway and lifetimes in PtTe_(2).Our study also demonstrates that the COP spectroscopy is a powerful tool to reveal the modulation of frequency-dependent optical constants induced by atomic vibrations,which may find applications in the fields of optoelectronics and ultrafast photonics. | Peng Suo Shengnan Yan Ruihua Pu Wenjie Zhang Di Li Jiaming Chen Jibo Fu Xian Lin Feng Miao Shi-Jun Liang Weimin Liu Guohong Ma | 2022 | Photonics Research2022,10,3: | 0 |
