| 3 | Episodic crustal anatexis and the formation of Paiku composite leucogranitic pluton in the Malashan Gneiss Dome, Southern Tibet显示文摘The Paiku composite leucogranitic pluton in the Malashan gneiss dome within the Tethyan Himalaya consists of tourmaline leucogranite,two-mica granite and garnet-bearing leucogranite.Zircon U-Pb dating yields that(1)tourmaline leucogranite formed at28.2±0.5 Ma and its source rock experienced simultaneous metamorphism and anatexis at 33.6±0.6 Ma;(2)two-mica granite formed at 19.8±0.5 Ma;(3)both types of leucogranite contain inherited zircon grains with an age peak at^480 Ma.These leucogranites show distinct geochemistry in major and trace elements as well as in Sr-Nd-Hf isotope compositions.As compared to the two-mica granites,the tourmaline ones have higher initial Sr and zircon Hf isotope compositions,indicating that they were derived from different source rocks combined with different melting reactions.Combined with available literature data,it is suggested that anatexis at^35 Ma along the Himalayan orogenic belt might have triggered the initial movement of the Southern Tibetan Detachment System(STDS),and led to the tectonic transition from compressive shortening to extension.Such a tectonic transition could be a dominant factor that initiates large scale decompressional melting of fertile high-grade metapelites along the Himalayan orogenic belt.Crustal anatexis at^28 Ma and^20 Ma represent large-scale melting reactions associated with the movement of the STDS. | GAO LiE ZENG LingSen HOU KeJun GUO ChunLi TANG SuoHan XIE KeJia HU GuYue WANG Li | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,28: | 23 |

| 8 | Local and long-range transport influences on PM_(2.5) at a cities-cluster in northern China,during summer 2008显示文摘Hourly PM2.5 concentrations were observed simultaneously at a cities-cluster comprising 10 cities/towns in Hebei province in China from July 1 to 31,2008. Among the 10 cities/towns, Baoding showed the highest average concentration level(161.57(jig/m3) and Yanjiao exhibited the lowest(99.35(jig/m3). These observed data were also studied using the joint potential source contribution function with 24-h and72-h backward trajectories, to identify more clearly the local and countrywide-scale long-range transport sources. For the local sources, three important influential areas were found, whereas five important influential areas were defined for long-range transport sources. Spatial characteristics of PM2.5 were determined by multivariate statistical analyses. Soil dust, coal combustion, and vehicle emissions might be the potential contributors in these areas. The results of a hierarchical cluster analysis for back trajectory endpoints and PM2.5 concentrations datasets show that the spatial characteristics of PM2.5 in the cities-cluster were influenced not only by local sources, but also by long-range transport sources. Different cities in the cities-cluster obtained different weighted contributions from local or long-range transport sources. The arc voltageis increased by flux SiO2 whilst flux TiO2 does not have effect on the arc voltage. The aim of the investigation is to determine the adsorption behavior of azo dyes in aqueous solution on DG06, GSE17200, and GSE17201 soils using C. I. Acid Red 14 (AR14) as example. The experimental results indicate that the Freundlich model expresses the adsorption isotherm better than the Langmuir model and the pseudo-second-order model achieves adsorption of AR14 on the three soils well. Based on the pseudo- second-order model, the adsorption thermodynamic of AR14 on DG06 soil have been studied and the thermodynamics parameter of ΔG0 is determined and ΔG0 value shows the adsorption process of AR14 on DG06 is mainly physical in nature. Furthermore, the effects of temperature, pH and salinity (NaCl) on adsorption have been investigated. | 12 | Evaluation system for CO_2 emission of hot asphalt mixture显示文摘The highway construction industry plays an important role in economic and development,but is also a primary source of carbon emission. Accordingly, with the global climate change, energy conservation and reduction of carbon emissions have become critical issues in the highway construction industry. However, to date, a model for the highway construction industry has not been established. Hence, to implement a low-carbon construction model for highways, this study divided asphalt pavement construction into aggregate stacking, aggregate supply, and other stages, and compiled a list of energy consumption investigation. An appropriate calculation model of CO_2 emission was then built. Based on the carbon emission calculation model, the proportion of carbon emissions in each stage was analyzed. The analytic hierarchy process was used to establish the system of asphalt pavement construction with a judgment matrix, thereby enabling calculation of the weight coefficient of each link. In addition, the stages of aggregate heating, asphalt heating, and asphalt mixture mixing were defined as key stages of asphalt pavement construction. Carbon emissions at these stages accounted for approximately 90% of the total carbon emissions. Carbon emissions at each stage and their impact on the environment were quantified and compared. The energy saving construction schemes as well as the environmental and socioeconomic benefits were then proposed. Through these schemes, significant reductions in carbon emissions and costs can be achieved. The results indicate that carbon emissions reduce by 32.30% and 35.93%, whereas costs reduce by 18.58% and 6.03%. | 13 | Effect of Jiawei Shenfu decoction on tumor necrosis factor-alpha and nuclear factor-kappa B in patients who have chronic heart failure with syndromes of deficiency of heart Yang显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To examine the clinical efficacy of Jiawei Shenfu decoction on tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-cα) and nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-KB) levels in patients who have chronic heart failure with syndromes of deficiency of heart Yang.METHODS:A total of 63 patients with syndromes of deficiency of heart Yang (chronic heart failure)were enrolled.Patients were randomly divided into the control group and Jiawei Shenfu group.All patients received standard medications for treatment of chronic heart failure.Patients in the Jiawei Shenfu group were additionally provided Jiawei Shenfu decoction one dose daily.Treatments continued for 4 consecutive weeks.The primary endpoint was the change in plasma B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP),NF-KB,and TNF-cα levels during 4 weeks of treatment.RESULTS:At the 4-week follow-up,a significant reduction in BNP levels compared with baseline was observed in both groups,but the Jiawei Shenfu decoction group showed a significantly greater reduction than did the control group.The Jiawei Shenfu group also showed superior performance regarding the Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire score,the Chinese medicine syndrome score,heart rate,left ventricular ejection fraction,and 6-min walking distance compared with the control group.The degree of changes in NF-KB and TNF-α levels in the Jiawei Shenfu group was more significant than that in the control group.CONCLUSION:Routine medicine combined with Jiawei Shenfu decoction for patients with heart Yang deficiency syndrome in chronic heart failure can improve the left ventricular ejection fraction and cardiac function,and reduce BNP levels.The mechanism may be related to inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokines and the NF-KB-induced kinase pathway,leading to amelioration of the inflammatory response. | Yu Mei Guo Hangyuan Ye Lingling Bian Jiaping Ma Lijuan Zheng Chunli | 2019 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2019,39,3: | 6 |

| 15 | Process intensification and energy saving of reactive distillation for production of ester compounds显示文摘Reactive distillation(RD) process is an innovative hybrid process combining reaction with distillation, which has recently come into sharp focus as a successful case of process intensification. Considered as the most representative case of process intensification, it has been applied for many productions, especially for production of ester compounds. However, such problems existing in the RD system for ester productions are still hard to solve,as the removal of the water which comes from the esterification, and the separation of the azeotropes of ester–alcohol(–water). Many methods have been studying on the process to solve the problems resulting in further intensification and energy saving. In this paper, azeotropic–reactive distillation or entrainer enhanced reactive distillation(ERD) process, reactive extractive distillation(RED) process, the method of co-production in RD process, pressure-swing reactive distillation(PSRD) process, reactive distillation–pervaporation coupled process(RD–PV), are introduced to solve the problems above, so the product(s) can be separated efficiently and the chemical equilibrium can be shifted. | 16 | Correlation between expression of human telomerase subunits and telomerase activity in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘AIM: To investigate telomerase activity and hTERT, TP-1 expression and their relationships in esophageal squamouscell carcinoma (ESCC).METHODS: Telomerase activity was measured in 60 ESCCtissues using telomeric repeat amplification protocol (TRAP)assay by silver staining. In situ hybridization was used for detecting hTERT and TP-lmRNA.RESULTS: The telomerase activity was detected in 83.3 % of ESCC tissues. The difference of telomerase activity was significant between well and poorly cancer differentiated lesions (P<0.05). The positive rate of telomerase activity was higher in patients with lymphatic metastasis than in patients without lymphatic metastasis. In cancer tissues hTERT mRNA expression was 75 % and TP-1 mRNA expression was 71.7 %. The expression of hTERT, TP-1 mRNA in well and poorly differentiated carcinoma was not significant. The expression of hTERT mRNA was correlated with telomerase activity, but TP-1 mRNA expression was not correlated with it.CONCLUSION: Telomerase activity and hTERT, TP-1 mRNA expression are up-regulated in ESCC. Telomerase activity in ESCC is correlated with lymphatic metastasis and cancer differentiation. Telomerase activity may be used as a prognostic marker in ESCC. hTERT mRNA expression is correlated with telomerase activity. Major parameters that affect the joint property significantly were identified as pulsed peak current, base current, pulse on time,and frequency by pre-experiments. A sample was established according to central composite design. Based on the sample,response surface methodology(RSM) and artificial neural networks(ANN) were employed to predict the tensile strength of the joints separately. With RSM, a significant and rational mathematical model was established to predict the joint strength.With ANN, a modified back-propagation algorithm consisting of one input layer with four neurons, one hidden layer with eight neurons, and one output layer with one neuron was trained for predicting the strength. | 20 | Neoproterozoic magmatism in eastern Himalayan terrane显示文摘Geochronological investigation on gneisses of granitic to leucogranitic compositions in Cuona,south Tibet,reveal that their protoliths formed at 808.8 ± 7.9-816.4 ± 3.4 Ma and 855.8 ± 7.0 Ma,respectively.Zircon rims from the granitic gneiss record a metamorphic age of 739.4 ± 4.3 Ma.Lu-Hf isotopic analyses on zircon grains with Neoproterozoic ages yield negative ε_(Hf)(t) values from-9.0 to-4.2,and the corresponding two-stage Hf model ages are 1965-2228 Ma.Whole-rock geochemical data indicate that all granitic gneisses are K-riched calc-alkali series.These new data together with literature data show that(1) the Himalayan terrane experienced an episode of Neoproterozoic magmatism at 850-800 Ma;(2) the Neoproterozoic magma of granitic compositions were derived from partial melting of ancient crusts,possibly due to the thermal perturbation related with the breakup of the Rodinia supercontinent. | Yuhua Wang Lingsen Zeng Li-E Gao Chunli Guo Kejun Hou Lifei Zhang Wei Wang Huiyi Sun | 2017 | Science Bulletin2017,62,6: | 5 |
