| 2 | Nano-hydroxyapatite accelerates vascular calcification via lysosome impairment and autophagy dysfunction in smooth muscle cells显示文摘Vascular calcification(VC)is a common characteristic of aging,diabetes,chronic renal failure,and atherosclerosis.The basic component of VC is hydroxyapatite(HAp).Nano-sized HAp(nHAp)has been identified to play an essential role in the development of pathological calcification of vasculature.However,whether nHAp can induce calcification in vivo and the mechanism of nHAp in the progression of VC remains unclear.We discovered that nHAp existed both in vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs)and their extracellular matrix(ECM)in the calcified arteries from patients.Synthetic nHAp had similar morphological and chemical properties as natural nHAp recovered from calcified artery.nHAp stimulated osteogenic differentiation and accelerated mineralization of VSMCs in vitro.Synthetic nHAp could also directly induce VC in vivo.Mechanistically,nHAp was internalized into lysosome,which impaired lysosome vacuolar H+-ATPase for its acidification,therefore blocked autophagic flux in VSMCs.Lysosomal re-acidification by cyclic-3′,5′-adenosine monophosphate(cAMP)significantly enhanced autophagic degradation and attenuated nHAp-induced calcification.The accumulated autophagosomes and autolysosomes were converted into calcium-containing exosomes which were secreted into ECM and accelerated vascular calcium deposit.Inhibition of exosome release in VSMCs decreased calcium deposition.Altogether,our results demonstrated a repressive effect of nHAp on lysosomal acidification,which inhibited autophagic degradation and promoted a conversion of the accumulated autophagic vacuoles into exosomes that were loaded with undissolved nHAp,Ca^(2+),Pi and ALP.These exosomes bud off the plasma membrane,deposit within ECM,and form calcium nodules.Vascular calcification was thus accelerated by nHAP through blockage of autophagic flux in VSMCs. | Qi Liu Yi Luo Yun Zhao Pingping Xiang Jinyun Zhu Wangwei Jing Wenjing Jin Mingyao Chen Ruikang Tang Hong Yu | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,2: | 5 |

| 13 | Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector.Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements,such as its low-energy threshold,high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors,and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors.In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable,assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition,approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected.This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter,which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle.Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better,depending on the central value,and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. | 14 | Spatio-temporal Variation of Water Heat Flux Using MODIS Land Surface Temperature Product over Hulun Lake,China During 2001–2018显示文摘Heat flux is important for studying interactions between atmosphere and lake.The heat exchange between air-water interfaces is one of the important ways to govern the temperature of the water surface.Heat exchange between the air-water interfaces and the surrounding environment is completed by solar radiation,conduction,and evaporation,and all these processes mainly occur at the air-water interface.Hulun Lake was the biggest lake which is also an important link and an indispensable part of the water cycle in Northeast China.This study mapped surface energy budget to better understand spatial and temporal variations in Hulun Lake in China from 2001 to 2018.Descriptive statistics were computed to build a historical time series of mean monthly heat flux at daytime and nighttime from June to September during 2001–2018.Remote sensing estimation methods we used was suitable for Hulun Lake(R2=0.81).At month scale,shortwave radiation and latent heat flux were decrease from June to September.However,the maximum sensible heat flux appeared in September.Net longwave radiation was the largest in August.The effective heat budget showed that Hulun Lake gained heat in the frost-free season with highest value in June(686.31 W/m2),and then steadily decreased to September(439.76 W/m2).At annual scale,net longwave radiation,sensible heat flux and latent heat flux all show significant growth trend from 2001 to 2018(P<0.01).Wind speed had the well correlation on sensible heat flux and latent heat flux.Water surface temperature showed the highest coefficient in sensitivity analysis. | ZHAO Boyu DU Jia SONG Kaishan Pierre-Andre JACINTHE XIANG Xiaoyun ZHOU Haohao YANG Zhichao ZHANG Liyan GUO Pingping | 2020 | Chinese Geographical Science2020,30,6: | 0 |

[Methods] Colon cancer cells treated with different concentrations of EriB were detected by CCK-8 assay;cell scratch assay and crystal violet staining were used to detect the invasion and migration of colon cancer cell;cell apoptosis was detected by Annexin V/PI double staining, and cell cycle was detected by PI staining;Western Blotting was used to detect epithelial-mesenchymal transition and apoptosis-related proteins in colon cancer cells treated with EriB. [Results] After EriB treatment, the proliferation, migration and apoptosis of colon cancer cells were significantly inhibited, and the ratio of P-ERK1/2 to ERK was significantly decreased.
