2Profile improvement during CO_2 flooding in ultra-low permeability reservoirs显示文摘Gas flooding such as CO2 flooding may be effectively applied to ultra-low permeability reservoirs, but gas channeling is inevitable due to low viscosity and high mobility of gas and formation heterogeneity. In order to mitigate or prevent gas channeling, ethylenediamine is chosen for permeability profile control. The reaction mechanism of ethylenediamine with CO2, injection performance, swept volume, and enhanced oil recovery were systematically evaluated. The reaction product of ethylenediamine and CO2 was a white solid or a light yellow viscous liquid, which would mitigate or prevent gas channeling. Also, ethylenediamine could be easily injected into ultra-low permeability cores at high temperature with protective ethanol slugs. The core was swept by injection of 0.3 PV ethylenediamine. Oil displacement tests performed on heterogeneous models with closed fractures, oil recovery was significantly enhanced with injection of ethylenediamine. Experimental results showed that using ethylenediamine to plug high permeability layers would provide a new research idea for the gas injection in fractured, heterogeneous and ultra-low permeability reservoirs. 3Secretory/releasing proteome-based identification of plasma biomarkers in HBV-associated hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘For successful therapy, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) must be detected at an early stage. Herein, we used a proteomic approach to analyze the secretory/releasing proteome of HCC tissues to identify plasma biomarkers. Serum-free conditioned media (CM) were collected from primary cultures of cancerous tissues and surrounding noncancerous tissues. Proteomic analysis of the CM proteins permitted the identification of 1365 proteins. The enriched molecular functions and biological processes of the CM proteins, such as hydrolase activity and catabolic processes, were consistent with the liver being the most important metabolic organ. Moreover, 19% of the proteins were characterized as extracellular or membrane-bound. For validation, secretory proteins involved in transforming growth factor-β signaling pathways were validated in plasma samples. Alphafetoprotein (AFP), metalloproteinase (MMP)1, osteopontin (OPN), and pregnancy-specific beta-1-glycoprotein (PSG)9 were significantly increased in HCC patients. The overall performance of MMP1 and OPN in the diagnosis of HCC remained greater than that of AFP. In addition, this study represents the first report of MMP1 as a biomarker with a higher sensitivity and specificity than AFP. Thus, this study provides a valuable resource of the HCC secretome with the potential to investigate serological biomarkers. 4Pose Planning for the End-effector of Robot in the Welding of Intersecting Pipes显示文摘All-position robots are widely applied in the welding of complicated parts.Welding of intersecting pipes is one of the most typical tasks.The welding seam is a complicated saddle-like space curve,which puts a great challenge to the pose planning of end-effector.The special robots designed specifically for this kind of tasks are rare in China and lack sufficient theoretical research.In this paper,a systematic research on the pose planning for the end-effectors of robot in the welding of intersecting pipes is conducted. First,the intersecting curve of pipes is mathematically analyzed.The mathematical model of the most general intersecting curve of pipes is derived,and several special forms of this model in degraded situations are also discussed.A new pose planning approach of bisecting angle in main normal plane(BAMNP) for the welding-gun is proposed by using differential geometry and the comparison with the traditional bisecting angle in axial rotation plane(BAARP) method is also analytically conducted.The optimal pose of the welding-gun is to make the orientation posed at the center of the small space formed by the two cylinders and the intersecting curve to help the welding-pool run smoothly.The BAMNP method can make sure the pose vertical to the curve and center between the two cylinders at the same time,therefore its performance in welding-technique is superior to the BAARP method.By using the traditional BAARP method,the robot structure can become simpler and easier to be controlled,because one degree of freedom(DOF) of the robot can be reduced.For the special case of perpendicular intersecting,an index is constructed to evaluate the quality of welding technique in the process of welding.The effect of different combination of pipe size on this index is also discussed.On the basis of practical consideration,selection principle for BAARP and BAMNP is described.The simulations of those two methods for a serial joint-type robot are made in MATLAB,and the simulation results are consistent to the analysis.The mathematical model and the proposed new pose-planning method will lay a solid foundation for future researches on the control and design of all-position welding robots.LIU Yu ZHAO Jing LU Zhenyang CHEN Shujun 2011Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,2:7
5Abnormal Metabolic Connectivity in Rats at the Acute Stage of Ischemic Stroke显示文摘Stroke at the acute stage is a major cause of disability in adults, and is associated with dysfunction of brain networks. However, the mechanisms underlying changes in brain connectivity in stroke are far from fully elucidated. In the present study, we investigated brain metabolism and metabolic connectivity in a rat ischemic stroke model of middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO)at the acute stage using18 F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography. Voxel-wise analysis showed decreased metabolism mainly in the ipsilesional hemisphere, and increased metabolism mainly in the contralesional cerebellum. We used further metabolic connectivity analysis to explore the brain metabolic network in MCAO.Compared to sham controls, rats with MCAO showed most significantly reduced nodal and local efficiency in the ipsilesional striatum. In addition, the MCAO group showed decreased metabolic central connection of the ipsilesional striatum with the ipsilesional cerebellum, ipsilesional hippocampus, and bilateral hypothalamus. 7Changes in plant diversity on the Chinese Loess Plateau since the Last Glacial Maximum显示文摘Changes in biodiversity during periods of global warming are of broad public concern.To study the effect of the warming process on the ecosystem,we carried out pollen analyses on samples from seven selected sections at Qingyang,Ningxian,Yangling,Binxian,Baoji,Yanshi,and Lingbao on the Chinese Loess Plateau in order systematically to evaluate changes in plant diversity since the Last Glacial Maximum(LGM).The plant richness indices(Simpson’s diversity index and rarefaction analysis)indicated that the plant diversity of each section increased during the process of warming from the LGM to the Holocene Optimum,especially at Baoji and Lingbao.These results are consistent with many long-timescale geological records,which show that warming can increase biodiversity;therefore,the popular viewpoint that warming leads to biodiversity loss or species extinction needs to be re-examined.Shujun Zhao Zhongli Ding 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,31:3
8Proteomics study of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia reveals the Fc fragment of the IgG-binding protein as a serum biomarker and implicates potential therapeutic targets显示文摘Macrolide and corticosteroid resistance has been reported in patients with Mycoplasma pneumoniae(MP)pneumonia(MPP).MP clearance is difficult to achieve through antibiotic treatment in sensitive patients with severe MPP(SMPP).SMPP in children might progress to airway remodeling and even bronchiolitis/bronchitis obliterans.Therefore,identifying serum biomarkers that indicate MPP progression and exploring new targeted drugs for SMPP treatment require urgency.In this study,serum samples were collected from patients with general MPP(GMPP)and SMPP to conduct proteomics profiling.The Fc fragment of the IgG-binding protein(FCGBP)was identified as the most promising indicator of SMPP.Biological enrichment analysis indicated uncontrolled inflammation in SMPP.ELISA results proved that the FCGBP level in patients with SMPP was substantially higher than that in patients with GMPP.Furthermore,the FCGBP levels showed a decreasing trend in patients with GMPP but the opposite trend in patients with SMPP during disease progression.Connectivity map analyses identified 25 possible targeted drugs for SMPP treatment.Among them,a mechanistic target of rapamycin kinase(mTOR)inhibitor,which is a macrolide compound and a cell proliferation inhibitor,was the most promising candidate for targeting SMPP.To our knowledge,this study was the first proteomics-based characterization of patients with SMPP and GMPP.Jinrong Liu Rongfang Shen Lin Feng Shujun Cheng Jun Chen Ting Xiao Shunying Zhao 2022Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,3:3
9Extranodal involvement in young patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma: distribution, prognostic value and treatment options显示文摘Objective: Extranodal involvement represents a peculiar presentation of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL). Previous studies have suggested that older patients are more prone to extranodal involvement. This study retrospectively addressed the distribution, prognostic value and treatment options of extranodal involvement in young patients with DLBCL.Methods: A total of 329 patients were enrolled according to the inclusion requirements. The effects of gender,extranodal involvement, age-adjusted international prognostic index(aa IPI), rituximab infusion and radiotherapy on patient outcomes were evaluated.Results: Among these patients, 59% presented extranodal involvement in 16 anatomic sites. More than one instance was linked to many poorer clinical characteristics and poorer survival compared with either nodal disease or one instance. In patients with one extranodal lesion, multivariate analysis revealed that the site of extranodal involvement, but not the aa IPI or rituximab infusion, was independently related to the outcome, and radiotherapy had a negative influence on survival.Conclusions: Extranodal involvement is common in younger patients and exhibits a ubiquitous distribution.The site of extranodal involvement is of strong prognostic significance. 10Longitudinal Compression Behavior of Functionally Graded Ti–6Al–4V Meshes显示文摘The compressive deformation behavior in the longitudinal direction of graded Ti–6Al–4V meshes fabricated by electron beam melting was investigated using experiments and finite element methods(FEM).The results indicate that the overall strain along the longitudinal direction is the sum of the net strain carried by each uniform mesh constituent and the deformation behavior fits the Reuss model well. The layer thickness and the sectional area have no effect on the elastic modulus, whereas the strength increases with the sectional area due to the edge effect of each uniform mesh constituent. 11One-pot synthesis of arginine modified hydroxyapatite carbon microsphere composites for efficient removal of U(Ⅵ) from aqueous solutions显示文摘Uranium was not only the main source of nuclear energy but also one of the long-lived radionuclide.Herein, a novel arginine modified hydroxyapatite carbon microsphere composites(defined as C@HAp/Arg) obtained promptly via a one-step mild hydrothermal method, was applied to remove U(Ⅵ) from aqueous solutions. Based on the characterization of transmission electron microscopy(TEM), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), X-ray diffraction(XRD)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), the synthesized C@HAp/Arg presented globular morphology and abundant functional groups(e.g., —COO^-), which were beneficial to its combination with U(Ⅵ). The interaction mechanism and removal capability of U(Ⅵ) on C@HAp/Arg were studied by batch adsorption technique and spectroscopy analysis. The results implied that U(Ⅵ) can form strong surface complexes on C@HAp/Arg. The kinetics adsorption of U(Ⅵ) followed pseudo-second-order kinetic model with high removal efficiency($95% within 5h at pH 5.0). The adsorption isotherms were well fitted by Langmuir model, implying that U(Ⅵ) uptake on C@HAp/Arg was monolayer coverage. It was found that the maximum adsorption capacities of CSs, C@HAp and C@HAp/Arg toward U(Ⅵ) were calculated to be 23.16,72.09 and 569.66 mg/g, respectively, at 298.15 K and pH 5.0, and thermodynamic parameters revealed that the adsorption processes of U(Ⅵ) were spontaneous and endothermic. In addition, effect of co-existed ions and CO_3^(2-)concentrations demonstrated that U(Ⅵ) adsorption on C@HAp/Arg was weakly interfered by foreign ions and carbonate concentrations. More importantly, the adsorption performance of U(Ⅵ) on C@HAp/Arg was still over $87% after five cycles. 12Electrical properties of yttrium calcium oxyborate crystal annealed at high temperature and low oxygen partial pressure显示文摘The yttrium calcium oxyborate crystal(YCa_(4)O(BO_(3))_(3),YCOB)has been actively studied for hightemperature piezoelectric sensing applications.In this work,the stability of electric properties of YCOB crystal annealed in critical conditions(high-temperatures of 900-1100℃ with a low oxygen partial pressure of 4×10^(-6) atm for 24 h)was investigated and the recovery mechanism for the electrical resisitivity,dielectric permittivity and dielectric loss were studied,taking advantage of the X-ray photoelectron spectra and the first principle calculations.The electrical resistivity of the annealed YCOB crystal was slightly decreased when compared to the pristine counterpart,being(2-5)×10^(7) Ω·cm at 850C.The dielectric permittivity and dielectric loss were found to increase after annealing,showing recoverable behaviours after thermal treatment above 650℃ in air.The calculated vacancy formation energy indicates that the oxygen vacancy is the dominant defects in YCOB.The formation of oxygen vacancy weakens the chemical bonding strength between B(Ca or Y)and O atoms,introduces extra donor levels in the band gap,which excites the electrons to conduction band more easily thus enhances the electrical conductivity and dielectric loss.The recovered electrical properties are believed to be associated with the reduced vacancy defects at elevated temperatures in air.Shiwei Tian Lili Li Feifei Chen Chao Jiang Fapeng Yu Yanlu Li Xiulan Duan Zhengping Wang Shujun Zhang Xian Zhao 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,3:2

17Dose,Plasma Level,and Treatment Outcome Among Methadone Patients in Shanghai,China显示文摘The purpose of this study was to investigate the blood levels of methadone in participants receiving methadone for the treatment of opioid dependence.After stabilization on methadone for four weeks,blood samples from 95 participants were collected between treatment weeks 4 and 12,before and after receiving doses of methadone,and its blood levels were measured.A multiple linear regression model was used to examine me association between methadone blood levels and the outcomes of methadone maintenance treatment(MMT).Outcome differences between participants who had high(>2) or low(<2) peak-to-trough ratios were also compared using an independent sample /-test.The blood level of methadone was not correlated with the clinical outcome of MMT with the moderate range of doses given.However,the retention of patients who had a free peak-to-trough ratio >2 was significantly poorer than those whose ratio was <2.Thus,monitoring plasma methadone levels is unlikely to be effective for guiding dosing decisions in situations where compliance with MMT is already very high or when the methadone dose is no longer the dominant factor in determining the clinical outcome.However,monitoring plasma methadone levels is still helpful for guiding the dosage for patients with a rapid metabolism.Haifeng Jiang Maureen Hillhouse Jiang Du Shujun Pan Ang Alfonso Jun Wang Zhirong Zhou Weijun Yuan Walter Ling Min Zhao 2016Neuroscience Bulletin2016,32,6:1
18A joint call for actions to advance taxonomy in China显示文摘Taxonomy plays an important role in understanding the origin, evolution, and ecological functionality of biodiversity. There are large number of unknown species yet to be described by taxonomists, which together with their ecosystem services cannot be effectively protected prior to description. Despite this, taxonomy has been increasingly underrated insufficient funds and permanent positions to retain young talents. Further, the impact factordriven evaluation systems in China exacerbate this downward trend, so alternative evaluation metrics are urgently necessary. When the current generation of outstanding taxonomists retires,there will be too few remaining taxonomists left to train the next generation.
