2De novo characterization of the root transcriptome of a traditional Chinese medicinal plant Polygonum cuspidatum显示文摘Various active components have been extracted from the root of Polygonum cuspidatum.However,the genetic basis for their activity is virtually unknown.In this study,25600002 short reads (2.3 Gb) of P.cuspidatum root transcriptome were obtained via Illumina HiSeq 2000 sequencing.A total of 86418 unigenes were assembled de novo and annotated.Twelve,18,60 and 54 unigenes were respectively mapped to the mevalonic acid (MVA),methyl-D-erythritol 4-phosphate (MEP),shikimate and resveratrol biosynthesis pathways,suggesting that they are involved in the biosynthesis of pharmaceutically important anthraquinone and resveratrol.Eighteen potential UDP-glycosyltransferase unigenes were identified as the candidates most likely to be involved in the biosynthesis of glycosides of secondary metabolites.Identification of relevant genes could be important in eventually increasing the yields of the medicinally useful constituents of the P.cuspidatum root.From the previously published transcriptome data of 19 non-model plant taxa,1127 shared orthologs were identified and characterized.This information will be very useful for future functional,phylogenetic and evolutionary studies of these plants.HAO DaCheng MA Pei MU Jun CHEN ShiLin XIAO PeiGen PENG Yong HUO Li XU LiJia SUN Chao 2012Science China(Life Sciences)2012,55,5:36
3Acoustic emission generated during the gas sorption-desorption process in coal显示文摘An experimental system for monitoring the acoustic signals generated in coal during gas sorption and/or desorption was designed and the acoustic signals were observed under different gas pressures. The experimental results show that signals generated by the coal during gas adsorption are attenuated over time. Also, the signals are not continuous but are impulsive. The intensity of the signals generated during gas desorption is far smaller than that observed during adsorption. The signal seen during desorption remains essentially stable. Cycles of sorption and desorption cause acoustic emission signals that exhibit a memory effect, which depends upon the maximum gas pressure the sample was exposed to in earlier cycles. Lower pressures in subsequent cycles, compared to the maximum adsorption pressure in previous cycles, cause both the energy and impulse frequency to be lower than previously. 12Skin-inspired electronics:emerging semiconductor devices and systems显示文摘Current electronics are driven by advanced microfabrication for fast and efficient information processing.In spite of high performance,these wafer-based devices are rigid,non-degradable,and unable to autonomous repair.Skin-inspired electronics have emerged as a new class of devices and systems for next-generation flexible and wearable electronics.The technology gains inspiration from the structures,properties,and sensing mechanisms of the skin,which may find a broad range of applications in cutting-edge fields such as healthcare monitoring,human-machine interface,and soft robotics/prostheses.Practical demands have fueled the development of electronic materials with skin-like properties in terms of stretchability,self-healing capability,and biodegradability.These materials provide the basis for functional sensors with innovative and biomimetic designs.Further system-level integrations and optimizations enable new forms of electronics for real-world applications.This review summarizes recent advancements in this active area and speculates on future directions.Zhong Ma Desheng Kong Lijia Pan Zhenan Bao 2020Journal of Semiconductors2020,41,4:1

14Direct contact moxibustion promotes apoptosis of gastric cancer cells in rats by regulating intestinal flora显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To examine whether direct contact moxibustion(DCM)can prevent and treat gastric cancer(GC)by regulating intestinal flora in rats.METHODS:Male Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal group,normal+DCM control group,model group,and model+DCM group.Gastric cancer rats were induced by N-methyl-N-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine(MNNG,20 mg/mL)by gavage.At the same time,the model rats and normal rats were given DCM at Zusanli(ST36),Weishu(BL21),and Zhongwan(CV12)for 16 weeks.After treatment,gastric tissues were collected to analyze the pathological changes and the apoptosis of gastric mucosa cells.In addition,the cecal stool was taken and analyzed by 16 s r RNA sequencing.RESULTS:Gastric cancer-like pathological changes and different abundance of the intestinal flora were found in the model group.DCM promoted mucosa tissue apoptosis and regulated the abnormal changes of the intestinal microflora caused by MNNG;DCM also inhibited the growth of Ruminococcaceae and Prevotellaceae flora and promoted the growth of probiotic Akkermansia.Furthermore,DCM made the composition and abundance of intestinal microflora in the GC rats tending to the normal rats.CONCLUSION:DCM stimulating Zusanli(ST36),Weishu(BL21),and Zhongwan(CV12)promoted the apoptosis of gastric mucosa and delayed the progression of gastric cancer,possibly by decreasing Ruminococcaceae and Prevotellaceae bacteria(bacteria that produce short-chain fatty acids in the intestine)and promoting the growth of probiotic Akkermansia.PAN Lijia MA Shuya WEN Jing ZHANG Xiaoqi XING Haijiao JIA Chunsheng 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,6:0

16Relationship of Microchannels and Plaque Erosion in Patients with ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction: An Optical Coherence Tomography Study显示文摘Objective:Microchannels are associated with the progression of atherosclerotic vulnerable plaques.However,in patients with culprit optical coherence tomography(OCT)-defined plaque erosion,the knowledge of microchannels and culprit lesion vulnerability is limited.The aim of this study was to investigate culprit lesion characteristics in patients with ST-segment elevated myocardial infarction(STEMI)caused by plaque erosion with and without microchannels using OCT.Methods:In all,348 STEMI patients with plaque erosion who underwent OCT of the culprit lesion at the 2nd Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University(Harbin,China)from August 2014 to December 2017 were included and divided into the microchannel group(n=116,33.3%)and no-microchannel group(n=232,66.7%).The clinical characteristics and OCT-derived plaque features were compared between both groups.Results:Among the 348 STEMI patients with plaque erosion,culprit lesions with microchannels had higher incidence of lipid plaque(59.5%vs.45.3%,P=0.012);calcification(41.4%vs.24.6%,P=0.002);spotty calcification(30.2%vs.18.1%,P=0.014);macrophages accumulation(72.4%vs.45.7%,P<0.001);and cholesterol crystals(32.8%vs.14.2%,P<0.001)than those without microchannels.In addition,minimal lumen area was smaller((1.9±0.9)mm2 vs.(2.8±2.3)mm2,P<0.001)and lumen area stenosis was greater((71.3%±13.4%)vs.(65.3%±19.3%),P=0.001)in the microchannel group than in the no-microchannel group.Conclusion:In patients with STEMI caused by plaque erosion,one-third manifested typical microchannel characteristics,and those with microchannels were associated with more severe luminal stenosis and more vulnerable plaque features than those without microchannels.Senqing Jiang Junchen Guo Yanwei Yin Chao Fang Jifei Wang Yidan Wang Fangmeng Lei Sibo Sun Xueying Pei Ruyi Jia Shaotao Zhang Lulu Li Yini Wang Lei Xing Huai Yu Huimin Liu Maoen Xu Xuefeng Ren Lijia Ma Guo Wei Jingbo Hou Jiannan Dai Bo Yu 2022Cardiology Discovery2022,2,2:0

18Enhanced design of hourglass truss sandwich structures for compressive resistance显示文摘In this article,the design of the hourglass truss sandwich structure is improved by optimizing the number of layers to enhance the compressive strength of both the core and the face sheet and then its mechanical performance. The hourglass truss structures characterized by three different numbers of layers are manufactured using an interlocking and vacuum brazing method. The effect of the layer number of the hourglass core panels on their out-of-plane compression and in-plane compression performance is investigated,and the results from calculations and experiments are in reasonable agreement. The results show that as the layer number of the hourglass core increases,the out-of-plane compressive strengths show little change,but their energy absorption properties are effectively increased. The in-plane compressive failure mechanism maps are constructed,and the specimens are designed to examine the local elastic and inelastic buckling failure modes of the face sheets. The results suggest that as the number of layers of the hourglass core increases,its maximum in-plane compressive load increases. The maximum in-plane compressive loads of the two-layer hourglass truss panels are 57%–70% higher than those of the single-layer panels. It can also be concluded that the out-of-plane and in-plane compression mechanical properties of the multilayer hourglass truss outperform those of the pyramidal truss. 19Metallogenic model of the Shuangjianzishan Ag-Pb-Zn district,Northeast China:Revealed from integrated geophysical investigation显示文摘The Shuangjianzishan deposit in Inner Mongolia is a typical Ag-Pb-Zn deposit of the southern Great Xing’an Range.Proven reserves of Ag,Pb,and Zn in this deposit have reached the scale of super-large deposits,with favorable metallogenic conditions,strong prospecting signs,and high metallogenic potential.This paper reports a study involving integrated geophysical methods,including controlled-source audio-frequency magnetotelluric,gravity,magnetic,and shallow-seismic-reflection methods,to determine the spatial distribution of ore-controlling structures and subsurface intrusive rock for a depth range of<2000 m in the Shuangjianzishan ore district.The objective of this study is to construct a metallogenic model of the ore district and provide a scientific basis for the exploration of similar deposits in the deep and surrounding regions.We used three-dimensional inversion for controlled-source audio-frequency magnetotelluric data based on the limited memory quasi-Newton algorithm,and three-dimensional physical-property inversion for the gravity and magnetic data to obtain information about the subsurface distribution of ore-controlling structures and intrusive rocks.Under seismic reflection results,regional geology,petrophysical properties,and borehole information,the geophysical investigation shows that the Dashizhai group,which contains the main ore-bearing strata in the ore district,is distributed within a depth range of<1239 m,and is thick in the Xinglongshan ore block and the eastern part of the Shuangjianzishan ore block.The mineralization is spatially associated with a fault system characterized by NE-,NW-,and N-trending faults.The magnetic and electrical models identify large,deep bodies of intrusive rock that are inferred to have been involved in mineralization,with local shallow emplacement of some intrusions.Combining the subsurface spatial distributions of ore-bearing strata,ore-controlling faults,and intrusive rock,we propose two different metallogenic models for the Shuangjianzishan ore district,which provide a scientific basis for further prospecting in the deep regions of the ore district and surrounding areas.Yihao Wu Jiangtao Han Yunhe Liu Guoqing Ma Fuxing Han Yanchen Yang Lijia Liu Lei Guo Ye Guan Yinghui Zhang Zhenyu Guo Qian Mu 2022Geoscience Frontiers2022,13,2:0
20Spin engineering of single-site metal catalysts显示文摘Single-site metal atoms(SMAs)on supports are attracting extensive interest as new catalytic systems because of maximized atom utilization and superior performance.However,rational design of configuration-optimized SMAs with high activity from the perspectives of fundamental electron spin is highly challenging.Herein,N-coordinated Fe single atoms are successfully distributed over axial carbon micropores to form dangling-FeN4 centers(d-FeN4).This unique d-FeN4 demonstrates much higher intrinsic activity toward oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)in HClO4 than FeN4 without micropore underneath and commercial Pt/C.Both theoretical calculation and electronic structure characterization imply that d-FeN4 endows central Fe with medium spin(t2g 4 eg 1),which provides a spin channel for electron transition compared with FeN4 with low spin.This leads to the facile formation of the singlet state of oxygen-containing species from triplet oxygen during the ORR,thus showing faster kinetics than FeN4.This work provides an in-depth understanding of spin tuning on SMAs for advanced energy catalysis.Zichuang Li Ruguang Ma Qiangjian Ju Qian Liu Lijia Liu Yufang Zhu Minghui Yang Jiacheng Wang 2022The Innovation2022,3,4:0
