| 1 | Assessment on Agricultural Drought Risk Based on Variable Fuzzy Sets Model显示文摘Drought is one of the major natural disasters causing huge agricultural losses annually. Regional agricultural drought risk assessment has great significance for reducing regional disaster and agricultural drought losses. Based on the fuzzy characteristics of agricultural drought risk, variable fuzzy sets model was used for comprehensively assessing agricultural drought risk of Liaoning Province in China. A multi-layers and multi-indices assessment model was estab-lished according to variable fuzzy sets theory, and agricultural drought risk of all 14 prefecture-level cities was respec-tively estimated in terms of dangerousness, vulnerability, exposure and drought-resistibility. By calculating the combi-nation weights of four drought risk factors, agricultural drought risk grade of each city was obtained. Based on the as-sessment results, the spatial distribution maps of agricultural drought risk were drawn. The results shows that eastern cities have lower drought dangerousness than western cities in Liaoning Province totally. Most cities are located in low drought vulnerability region and high drought exposure region. Because of frequent and severe drought since 2000, most cities are located in lower drought-resistibility region. Comprehensive agricultural drought risk presents apparent spatial characteristics, escalating from the east to the west. Drought dangerousness is the most important factor influencing comprehensive agricultural drought risk. | 2 | Risk analysis of dynamic control of reservoir limited water level by considering flood forecast error显示文摘Flood control forecast operation mode is one of the main ways for determining the upper bound of dynamic control of flood limited water level during flood season. The floodwater utilization rate can be effectively increased by using flood forecast information and flood control forecast operation mode. In this paper, Dahuofang Reservoir is selected as a case study. At first, the distribution pattern and the bound of forecast error which is a key source of risk are analyzed. Then, based on the definition of flood risk, the risk of dynamic control of reservoir flood limited water level within different flood forecast error bounds is studied. | 3 | An Ant Colony Algorithm Based on Cross-Layer Design for Routing and Wavelength Assignment in Optical Satellite Networks显示文摘This paper introduces an ant colony routing and wavelength assignment algorithm based on cross-layer design(CL-ACRWA),which can overcome the adverse effects of Doppler wavelength shift on data transmission in optical satellite networks. Firstly, a cross-layer optimization model is built, which considers the Doppler wavelength shift, the transmission delay as well as wavelength-continuity constraint. Then an ant colony algorithm is utilized to solve the cross-layer optimization model, resulting in finding an optimal light path satisfying the above constraints for every connection request. The performance of CL-ACRWA is measured by the communication success probability, the convergence property and the transmission delay. Simulation results show that CL-ACRWA performs well in communication success probability and has good global search ability as well as fast convergence speed. | 5 | Forest Fire Susceptibility Modeling Using a Convolutional Neural Network for Yunnan Province of China显示文摘Forest fires have caused considerable losses to ecologies, societies, and economies worldwide. To minimize these losses and reduce forest fires, modeling and predicting the occurrence of forest fires are meaningful because they can support forest fire prevention and management. In recent years, the convolutional neural network(CNN) has become an important state-of-the-art deep learning algorithm, and its implementation has enriched many fields. Therefore, we proposed a spatial prediction model for forest fire susceptibility using a CNN. Past forest fire locations in Yunnan Province, China, from 2002 to 2010, and a set of 14 forest fire influencing factors were mapped using a geographic information system. Oversampling was applied to eliminate the class imbalance, and proportional stratified sampling was used to construct the training/validation sample libraries. A CNN architecture that is suitable for the prediction of forest fire susceptibility was designed and hyperparameters were optimized to improve the prediction accuracy. Then, the test dataset was fed into the trained model to construct the spatial prediction map of forest fire susceptibility in Yunnan Province.Finally, the prediction performance of the proposed model was assessed using several statistical measures—Wilcoxon signed-rank test, receiver operating characteristic curve,and area under the curve(AUC). The results confirmed the higher accuracy of the proposed CNN model(AUC 0.86)than those of the random forests, support vector machine,multilayer perceptron neural network, and kernel logistic regression benchmark classifiers. The CNN has stronger fitting and classification abilities and can make full use of neighborhood information, which is a promising alternative for the spatial prediction of forest fire susceptibility. | 6 | Transcriptome analysis reveals long noncoding RNAs involved in fiber development in cotton (Gossypium arboreum)显示文摘Long noncoding RNAs(lnc RNAs)play important roles in various biological regulatory processes in yeast,mammals,and plants.However,no systematic identification of lnc RNAs has been reported in Gossypium arboreum.In this study,the strand-specific RNA sequencing(ss RNA-seq)of samples from cotton fibers and leaves was performed,and lnc RNAs involved in fiber initiation and elongation processes were systematically identified and analyzed.We identified 5,996 lnc RNAs,of which 3,510 and 2,486 can be classified as long intergenic noncoding RNAs(linc RNAs)and natural antisense transcripts(lnc NAT),respectively.Linc RNAs and lnc NATs are similar in many aspects,but have some differences in exon number,exon length,and transcript length.Expression analysis revealed that 51.9%of linc RNAs and 54.5%of lnc NATs transcripts were preferentially expressed at one stage of fiber development,and were significantly highly expressed than protein-coding transcripts(21.7%).During the fiber and rapid elongation stages,rapid and dynamic changes in lnc RNAs may contribute to fiber development in cotton.This work describes a set of lnc RNAs that are involved in fiber development.The characterization and expression analysis of lnc RNAs will facilitate future studies on their roles in fiber development in cotton. | Changsong Zou Qiaolian Wang Cairui Lu Wencui Yang Youping Zhang Hailiang Cheng Xiaoxu Feng Mtawa Andrew Prosper Guoli Song | 2016 | Science China(Life Sciences)2016,59,2: | 9 |

| 8 | Atomic process of oxidative etching in monolayer molybdenum disulfide显示文摘The microscopic process of oxidative etching of two-dimensional molybdenum disulfide(2D MoS_2) at an atomic scale is investigated using a correlative transmission electron microscope(TEM)-etching study.MoS_2 flakes on graphene TEM grids are precisely tracked and characterized by TEM before and after the oxidative etching. This allows us to determine the structural change with an atomic resolution on the edges of the domains, of well-oriented triangular pits and along the grain boundaries. We observe that the etching mostly starts from the open edges, grain boundaries and pre-existing atomic defects.A zigzag Mo edge is assigned as the dominant termination of the triangular pits, and profound terraces and grooves are observed on the etched edges. | 11 | Immunodiagnostic efficacy of detection of Schistosoma japonicum human infections in China:a meta analysis显示文摘Objective:To assess the diagnostic efficacy of the currently most widely used indirect hemagglutination assay(IHA) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) for detection of Schistosoma japonicum human infections.Methods:A comprehensive search was undertaken from China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang Database.VIP Database,PubMed. Cochrane Library,Science Citation Index Expanded.Proquest,and the inclusion and exclusion criteria were strictly settled.The funnel plot was used to assess the publication bias.Cochran’s Q test was employed to measure the homogeneity between studies,a summary receiver operating characteristic(SROC) curve was used to compare the diagnostic accuracy between the IHA and ELISA qualitatively by means of the Weighted Least Square method,the Ordinary Least Square method and the Robust regression method,and the diagnostic odds ratio(DOR) was drawn to compare the accuracy quantitatively.Results:Out of 785 publications,19 papers were eventually selected for analysis.Literature finality assessment indicated that minor publication bias existed in studies pertaining IHA test,but no bias was found in literatures regarding ELISA test.The heterogeneity test showed a heterogeneity between studies was present(χ~2 =466.07 and 34.67. both P values<0.0001).The areas under the SROC curves of IHA were all higher than that of ELISA test using the three methods(Weighted Least Square method:0.766 vs.0.695.Ordinary Least Square method:0.826 vs.0.741.Robust regression:0.815 vs.0.715).The TPR* values for IHA and EUSA were 0.710.0.759.0.749.and 0.650.0.686 and 0.666.respectively,and OR values were 5.997.9.937.8.893.and 3.432.4.784 and 3.959.respectively.The DOR of IHA was 9.41(95% CI:4.88-18.18).and 4.78(95%CI:3.21-7.13) for ELISA.Conclusions:All above results revealed that the diagnostic performance of IHA is better than that of ELISA.However,taking into account their unsatisfactory diagnostic value in areas with low infection intensity,a search for a better diagnostic test that can be applied in field situations in China should be given high priority. | Wei Wang Youzi Li Hongjun Li Yuntian Xing Guoli Qu Jianrong Dai Yousheng Liang | 2012 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2012,5,1: | 4 |
| 12 | Quantitative research of diagenesis:its effect on pore evolution of the Fuyu oil reservoir in the north Qijia region显示文摘From observing cores of 18 wells,identifying 175 ordinary thin sections and 61 thin casting sections,energy spectrum analyses of 37 samples,homogenization temperature measurement of fluid inclusions of 11 samples,we determine the types of diagenesis and pores of the Fuyu oil reservoir in the north Qijia region.We classified the pores and measured their plane porosity using CIA 2000,the software of rock image analysis,calculated the effect of different kinds of diagenesis on porosity,studied the controlling actions of diagenesis to pore evolution quantitatively,combined with burial history,thermal history and their diagenetic environments.Our results show that mechanical compaction and carbonate cementation are the major destructive diagenesed,developed during early diagenesis stages.The reduction in porosity by mechanical compaction and carbonate cementation are about 25% and 8%,while the destructive intensity of siliceous cementation and clay mineral cementation is relatively much smaller,i.e.,the reduction of porosity is about 2% and 0.2% Dissolution is constructive diagenesis,the increment of porosity is about 6%.There are four diagenesis evolution stages,during which the porosity reduced from 30%~38% to 2%~20%.Mechanical compaction and early cementation are the main diageneses in the early diagenesis stages,when porosity was reduced to 2%~10%.Dissolution is the main diagenesis of an A I substage of the middle diagenesis stage,when porosity increased 1%~8%.The dissolution of the A Ⅱ substage of the middle diagenesis stage affected by late cementation,raised porosity 1%~5%.The porosity varied slightly during the middle stage B. | HAO Guoli SHAN Xuanlong LIU Wanzhu WANG Qingbin | 2010 | Mining Science and Technology2010,20,5: | 4 |

| 18 | Biogenic C-doped titania templated by cyanobacteria for visible-light photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B显示文摘Cyanobacteria, which occurred in eutrophic water harvest solar light to carry out photosynthesis with high efficiency. In this work, cyanobacteria(Microcystis sp.) were used as biotemplate to synthesize titania structure. The synthesized titania sample had similar morphology to that of the original template in spite of the fragile unicellular structures and extremely high water content of cyanobacterial cells. Incorporation of biogenic C, as well as the morphology inherited from biotemplate improved visiblelight absorbance of the titania structure. The sample exhibited higher visible-light photocatalytic activity than commercial titania photocatalyst Degussa P25 for Rhodamine B(RhB) degradation. Compared with those C-doped titania photocatalysts prepared by other methods, cyanobacteria templated titania photocatalyst offer some potential for competitive advantages. The reported strategy opened up a new use for the cyanobacteria. | 20 | Extraction,Isolation and Structural Characterization of Polysaccharides from a Red Alga Gloiopeltis furcata显示文摘Three kinds of polysaccharides:GFW,GFH and GFA,were sequentially extracted from a red alga Gloiopeltis furcatawith 25℃and 85℃water,and 60℃ 4%NaOHwater solution.Based on the defatted alga,the yields of the polysaccharide were57.9%,2.5%and 2.6%,respectively.Their monosaccharide compositions,average molecular weights and structural characters weredetermined by gas chromatography(GC),high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)or13C-NMR spectroscopy.The results showed that GFW,GFH and GFA were all composed of D-galactose(Gal)and3,6-anhydro-L-galactose(AnG),and particularly GFA also contained xylose(Xyl).The average molecular weights of GFW,GFHand GFA were 22.6 kD,26.5 kD and 49.8 kD,respectively,with the respective sulfate content 31.2%,25.1%and 22.7%.The data ofFTIR and13C-NMR confirmed the sulfate ester location at C6 of galactose.It is concluded that all the three polysaccharides extractedfrom Gloiopeltis furcata were sulfated galactans,two being sulfated-agarose,and one being xylose-containing sulfated galactan. | YU Guangli HU Yannan YANG Bo ZHAO Xia WANG Peipei JI Guoli WU Jiandong GUAN Huashi | 2010 | Journal of Ocean University of China2010,9,2: | 3 |
