| 2 | Continuous Detonation Engine and Effects of Different Types of Nozzle on Its Propulsion Performance显示文摘The rotating propagation of a continuous detonation engine(CDE) with different types of nozzles is investigated in three-dimensional numerical simulation using a one-step chemical reaction model.Flux terms are solved by the so-called monotonicity-preserving weighted essentially non-oscillatory(MPWENO) scheme.The simulated flow field agrees well with the previous experimental results.Once the initial transient effects die down,the detonation wave maintains continuous oscillatory propagation in the annular chamber as long as fuel is continuously injected.Using a numerical flow field,the propulsion performance of a CDE is computed for four types of nozzles,namely the constant-area nozzle,Laval nozzle,diverging nozzle and converging nozzle.The gross specific impulse of the CDE ranges 1 540-1 750 s and the mass flux per square meter ranges 313-330 kg/(m2·s) for different nozzles.Among these four types of nozzles,Laval nozzle performs the best,and these parameters are 1 800 N,1 750 s and 313 kg/(m2·s).A nozzle can greatly improve the propulsion performance. | Shao Yetao Liu Meng Wang Jianping | 2010 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2010,23,6: | 26 |
| 3 | Controllable synthesis of nitrogen-doped porous carbon from metal-polluted miscanthus waste boosting for supercapacitors显示文摘High-value reclamation of metal-polluted plants involved in phytoremediation is a big challenge.In this study,nitrogen-doped nanoporous carbon with large specific area of 2359.1 m^(2)g^(-1) is facilely fabricated from metal-polluted miscanthus waste for efficient energy storage.The synergistic effect of KOH,urea and ammonia solution greatly improve the nitrogen quantity and surface area of the synthesized carbon.Electrodes fabricated with this carbon exhibit the excellent capacitance performance of 340.2 F g^(-1) at 0.5 A g^(-1) and a low combined resistance of 0.116Ω,which are competitive with most of previously reported carbon-based electrodes.In addition,the as-obtained carbon electrode shows a high specific capacitance retention of over 99.6%even after 5000 cycles.Furthermore,the symmetric supercapacitor fabricated using the synthesized carbon achieves a superior energy density of 25.3 Wh kg^(-1)(at 400 W kg^(-1))in 1 mol L^(-1) Na_(2)SO_(4)aqueous solution.This work provides an efficient route to upcycle metal-polluted plant waste for supercapacitor applications. | Zuo Chen Man Zhang Yuchen Wang Zhiyu Yang Di Hu Yetao Tang Kai Yan | 2021 | Green Energy & Environment2021,6,6: | 4 |

| 5 | Highly efficient production of 2,5-dihydroxymethylfuran from biomass-derived 5-hydroxymethylfurfural over an amorphous and mesoporous zirconium phosphonate catalyst显示文摘The development of high-efficiency and low-cost catalysts is very crucial for the MeerweinPonndorf-Verley (MPV) reduction of biomass-derived 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) into 2,5-dihydroxymethylfuran (DHMF). In this work, an amorphous and mesoporous zirconium phosphonate catalyst (Zr-DTMP), which is a zirconium-containing organic-inorganic nanohybrid, was successfully designed and synthesized by the simple assembly of zirconium tetrachloride (ZrCl4) and diethylene triaminepenta(methylene phosphonic acid)(DTMP). Satisfactorily, when Zr-DTMP was employed for the MPV reduction of HMF in the presence of 2-butanol (secBuOH), DHMF yield could be achieved as 96.5% in 3 h under a relatively mild reaction temperature of 140℃. Systematic investigations indicated that this high catalytic activity should be mainly due to the cooperative role of enhancive Lewis acid site (Zr4+) and Lewis base site (O2-) in activating the carbonyl group of HMF and dissociating the hydroxyl group of secBuOH, respectively. Additionally, Zr-DTMP showed excellent catalytic stability, when it was successively used 5 recycles, its surface characteristics and textural properties still remained almost unchanged, and so, the catalytic activity was not obviously affected. X-ray contrast medium and Microfil (Microfil compounds fill and opacify microvascular and other spaces of non-surviving animals and post-mortem tissue under physiological injection pressure) were injected into the cisterna magna of the rabbit, and perineural routes of cerebrospinal fluid outflow into the lymphatic system were visualized. Under a surgical operating microscope, Microfil was found within the subarachnoid space and along the olfactory nerves. At the nasal mucosa, a lymphatic network was identified near the olfactory nerves, which crossed the nasopharyngeal region and finally emptied into the superficial and deep cervical lymph nodes. Under a light microscope, Microfil was visible around the olfactory nerves and within lymphatic vessels. These results suggested that cerebrospinal fluid drained from the subarachnoid space along the olfactory nerves to nasal lymphatic vessels, which in turn, emptied into the cervical lymph nodes. | 17 | Bone morphogenetic protein 4 (BMP4) promotes hepatic glycogen accumulation and reduces glucose level in hepatocytes through mTORC2 signaling pathway显示文摘Liver is an important organ for regulating glucose and lipid metabolism.Recent studies have shown that bone morphogenetic proteins(BMPs)may play important roles in regu-lating glucose and lipid metabolism.Inour previous studies,we demonstrated that BMP4 signif-icantly inhibits hepatic steatosis and lowers serum triglycerides,playing a protective role against the progression of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).However,the direct impact of BMP4 on hepatic glucose metabolism is poorly understood.Here,we investigated the regulatory roles of BMP4 in hepatic glucose metabolism.Through a comprehensive analysis of the 14 types of BMPs,we found that BMP4 was one of the most potent BMPs in promoting hepatic glycogen accumulation,reducing the level of glucose in hepatocytes and effecting the expression of genes related to glucose metabolism.Mechanistically,we demonstrated that BMP4 reduced the hepatic glucose lewels through the activation of mTORC2 signaling pathway in vitro and in wivo.Collectively,our findings strongly suggest that BMP4 may play an essential role in regulating hepatic glucose metabolism.This knowledge should aid us to understand the molecular pathogenesis of NAFLD,and may lead to the development of novel therapeutics by exploiting the inhibitory effects of BMPs on hepatic glucose and lipid metabolism. | Liqin An Qiong Shi Ying Zhu Hao Wang Qi Peng Jinghong Wu Yu Cheng Wei Zhang Yanyu Yi Zihao Bao Hui Zhang Yetao Luo Jiaming Fan | 2021 | Genes & Diseases2021,8,4: | 1 |

| 20 | The acid dissolution characteristics of cadmium fixed by a novel Ca-Fe-Si composite material显示文摘Ca-Fe-Si material(CIS),a novel composite material rich in calcium,iron,manganese and silicon showed marvelous immobilization properties for heavy metal(loid)s in soils.To elucidate the acid stability of Cd fixed by CIS(CIS-Cd)and the underlying immobilizationmechanisms,the acid dissolution characteristics of CIS-Cdwere investigated by using acid titration method and X-ray diffraction(XRD)technique.The results showed that CIS-Cd had distinctive acid buffering capacity in different pH ranges.Based on the titration curve between dissolution rate of CIS-Cd and pH,CIS-Cd can be divided into non acid-stable Cd(9.4%),moderately acid-stable Cd(22.5%)and acid-stable Cd(68.1%).XRD analysis of CIS-Cd at different pH intervals and the correlation curves of dissolution rates of Cd and concomitant elements indicated that non acid-stable Cdwas mainly bound by carbonate,silicate and sulfate(CdCO_(3),Cd_(2)SiO_(4) and CdSO_(4))or co-precipitated with the corresponding calcium salts.Moderately acid-stable Cd was mainly bound by magnesium-aluminum-silicon containing minerals or electrically bound bymanganese iron minerals.Acid-stable Cd remaining undissolved at pH<2.42 included CdFe_(2)O_(4) and ferromanganese minerals strongly bound Cd.It was by multilateral fixation mechanisms that Ca-Fe-Si material possessed marvelous immobilization capability for Cd and strong resilience to environmental acidification as well.The findings implicated that proper combination of calcium-iron-silicon containing minerals could develop novel promising amendments with high efficiency in heavy metal(loid)s immobilization and strong resilience to environmental change. | Aijun Yao Xiang Guo Man Zhao Shizhong Wang Yetao Tang Rongliang Qiu | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,5: | 0 |
