First dark matter search results from the PandaX-Ⅰ experiment显示文摘We report on the first dark-matter(DM)search results from PandaX-I,a low threshold dual-phase xenon experiment operating at the China JinPing Underground Laboratory. In the 37-kg liquid xenon target with 17.4 live-days of exposure,no DM particle candidate event was found. This result sets a stringent limit for low-mass DM particles and disfavors the interpretation of previously-reported positive experimental results. The minimum upper limit,3.7×10-44cm2,for the spin-independent isoscalar DM-particle-nucleon scattering cross section is obtained at a DM-particle mass of 49 GeV/c2at 90%confidence level. | XIAO MengJiao XIAO Xiang ZHAO Li CAO XiGuang CHEN Xun CHEN YunHua CUI XiangYi FANG DeQing FU ChangBo GIBONI Karl L. | 3 | Dark matter direct search sensitivity of the PandaX-4T experiment显示文摘The Panda X-4T experiment, a 4-ton scale dark matter direct detection experiment, is being planned at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. In this paper we present a simulation study of the expected background in this experiment. In a 2.8-ton fiducial mass and the signal region between 1-10 keV electron equivalent energy, the total electron recoil background is found to be 4.9 × 10^(-5) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). The nuclear recoil background in the same region is 2.8 × 10^(-7) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). With an exposure of 5.6 ton-years, the sensitivity of Panda X-4 T could reach a minimum spin-independent dark matter-nucleon cross section of 6 × 10^(-48) cm^2 at a dark matter mass of 40 Ge V/c^2. | HongGuang Zhang Abdusalam Abdukerim Wei Chen Xun Chen YunHua Chen XiangYi Cui BinBin Dong DeQing Fang ChangBo Fu Karl Giboni Franco Giuliani LinHui Gu XuYuan Guo ZhiFan Guo Ke Han ChangDa He ShengMing He Di Huang XingTao Huang Zhou Huang Peng Ji XiangDong Ji YongLin Ju ShaoLi Li Yao Li Heng Lin HuaXuan Liu JiangLai Liu YuGang Ma YaJun Mao KaiXiang Ni JinHua Ning XiangXiang Ren Fang Shi AnDi Tan AnQing Wang Cheng Wang HongWei Wang Meng Wang QiuHong Wang SiGuang Wang XiuLi Wang XuMing Wang Zhou Wang MengMeng Wu ShiYong Wu JingKai Xia MengJiao Xiao PengWei Xie BinBin Yan JiJun Yang Yong Yang ChunXu Yu JuMin Yuan JianFeng Yue Dan Zhang Tao Zhang Li Zhao QiBin Zheng JiFang Zhou Ning Zhou XiaoPeng Zhou | 2019 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2019,62,3: | 6
The genome and gene editing system of sea barleygrass provide a novel platform for cereal domestication and stress tolerance studies显示文摘The tribe Triticeae provides important staple cereal crops and contains elite wild species with wide geneticdiversity and high tolerance to abiotic stresses. Sea barleygrass (Hordeum marinum Huds.), a wildTriticeae species, thrives in saline marshlands and is well known for its high tolerance to salinity and waterlogging. Here, a 3.82-Gb high-quality reference genome of sea barleygrass is assembled de novo, with 3.69Gb (96.8%) of its sequences anchored onto seven chromosomes. In total, 41 045 high-confidence (HC)genes are annotated by homology, de novo prediction, and transcriptome analysis. Phylogenetics, nonsynonymous/synonymous mutation ratios (Ka/Ks), and transcriptomic and functional analyses provide genetic evidence for the divergence in morphology and salt tolerance among sea barleygrass, barley, andwheat. The large variation in post-domestication genes (e.g. IPA1 and MOC1) may cause interspecies differences in plant morphology. The extremely high salt tolerance of sea barleygrass is mainly attributed tolow Na+ uptake and root-to-shoot translocation, which are mainly controlled by SOS1, HKT, and NHX transporters. Agrobacterium-mediated transformation and CRISPR/Cas9-mediated gene editing systems weredeveloped for sea barleygrass to promote its utilization for exploration and functional studies of hubgenes and for the genetic improvement of cereal crops. | Liuhui Kuang Qiufang Shen Liyang Chen Lingzhen Ye Tao Yan Zhong-Hua Chen Robbie Waugh Qi Li Lu Huang Shengguan Cai Liangbo Fu Pengwei Xing Kai Wang Jiari Shao Feibo Wu Lixi Jiang Dezhi Wu Guoping Zhang | 2022 | Plant Communications2022,3,5: | 2
Droplet Manipulation and Crystallization Regulation in Inkjet-Printed Perovskite Film Formation显示文摘Emerging organic–inorganic metal halide perovskite materials have become the focus of the optoelectronics research community owing to their excellent photoelectric properties.Nevertheless, challenges still exist for transferring the lab-made devices to largearea industrial modules.Inkjet printing(IJP)technology provides a promising way to fill the gap because of its precise droplet control and uniform large-scale deposition functions.Hence,an in-depth understanding of inkjet-printed perovskite films in terms of droplet manipulation and crystallization regulation is critical for upscaling the perovskite devices to commercial usage. In this review,we give an overview of inkjet-printed high-quality perovskite films and provide guidelines on inkjet-printing large-scale highperformance perovskite devices.First,we analyze theories of droplet formation and perovskite nucleation/crystallization dynamics and then focus on summarizing the perovskite film-formation strategies via IJP,in the aspects of ink engineering, the printing process, and posttreatment.Furthermore,we review the recent advances of inkjet-printed perovskite films on optoelectronic devices, such as perovskite solar cells, perovskite light-emitting diodes, and perovskite photodetectors. Finally,we highlight the“Trilogy Strategies,”including ink engineering, printing process, and posttreatment for printing high-quality perovskite films. | Yajie Cheng Hangjuan Wu Junjie Ma Pengwei Li Zhenkun Gu Shuangquan Zang Liyuan Han Yiqiang Zhang Yanlin Song | 2022 | CCS Chemistry2022,4,5: | 1
Envelope protection for aircraft encountering upset condition based on dynamic envelope enlargement显示文摘Upset condition encountered by an aircraft in flight could pose great threat to flight safety, which is of chief importance in civil aviation. The causal factors have the nonlinear and multiple characteristics, and as a result the conventional envelope protection system cannot successfully do with the condition. So dynamic envelope based on differential manifold theory, which can take more coupling factors into account, is proposed as a basis to design a novel envelope protection system. Then the relationship between the dynamic envelope and the control coefficient or pilot command is obtained, and the result shows that the dynamic envelope can be enlarged with the change of control coefficient. Furthermore, quantification of flight security is realized via defining relative distance between flight state and dynamic envelope, which can detect whether there is a risk for an aircraft in flight. Finally, an envelope protection system based on dynamic envelope enlargement is proposed on the basis. NASA's Generic Transport Model encountering hazard gust wind in climbing phase is taken as an example to verify the system's feasibility. The result shows that the system can give a better operation encountering upset condition and to a certain extent reduce the number of accidents or incidents. | Wuji ZHENG Yinghui LI Dengcheng ZHANG Chi ZHOU Pengwei WU | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2018,31,7: | 1
Restored intestinal integrity, nutrients transporters, energy metabolism, antioxidative capacity and decreased harmful microbiota were associated with IUGR piglet's catch-up growth before weanling显示文摘Background:Intrauterine growth restriction(IUGR)is a major inducer of higher morbidity and mortality in the pig industry and catch-up growth(CUG)before weanling could significantly restore this negative influence. But there was limited knowledge about the underlying mechanism of CUG occurrence. Methods:Eighty litters of newborn piglets were divided into normal birth weight(NBW)and IUGR groups according to birth weight. At 26 d,those piglets with IUGR but over average body weight of eighty litters of weaned piglets were considered as CUG,and the piglets with IUGR still below average body weight were considered as NCUG.This study was conducted to systemically compare the intestinal difference among NBW,CUG and NCUG weaned piglets considering the crucial role of the intestine for piglet growth. Results:The results indicated that the m RNA expression of nutrients(amino acids, glucose, and fatty acids)transporters, and mitochondrial electron transport chain(ETC)I were upregulated in CUG piglets'gut with improved morphology compared with those NCUG,as well as the ratio of P-AMPK/AMPK protein expression which is the indicator of energy metabolism.Meanwhile,CUG piglet's gut showed higher antioxidative capacity with increased SOD and GSHPx activity, decreased MDA levels,as well as higher m RNA expressions of Nrf2,Keap1,SOD,and GSH-Px.Furthermore,inflammatory parameters including TNF-α,IL-1β,IL-6,and IL-12 factors, and the activation of MAPK and NF-κB signaling pathways were significantly elevated in the NCUG intestine, while the protein expression of ZO-1,Occludin and Claudin-1 was reduced. The alpha diversity of fecal microbiota was higher in CUG piglets in contrast with NCUG piglets, and the increased beneficial bacteria and decreased pathogenic bacteria was also observed in CUG piglets. Conclusions:CUG piglet's intestine showed comprehensive restoration including higher nutrients transport, energy metabolism, antioxidant capacity, and intestinal physical barrier, while lower oxidative stress, inflammatory response, and pathogenic microbiota. | Chang Cui Caichi Wu Jun Wang Ziwei Ma Xiaoyu Zheng Pengwei Zhu Nuan Wang Yuhua Zhu Wutai Guan Fang Chen | 2023 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2023,14,1: | 1
Enhanced photon communication through Bayesian estimation with an SNSPD array显示文摘Laser communication using photons should consider not only the transmission environment’s effects, but also the performance of the single-photon detector used and the photon number distribution.Photon communication based on the superconducting nanowire single-photon detector(SNSPD)is a new technology that addresses the current sensitivity limitations at the level of single photons in deep space communication. The communication’s bit error rate(BER)is limited by dark noise in the space environment and the photon number distribution with a traditional single-pixel SNSPD,which is unable to resolve the photon number distribution. In this work,an enhanced photon communication method was proposed based on the photon number resolving function of four-pixel array SNSPDs.A simulated picture transmission was carried out,and the error rate in this counting mode can be reduced by 2 orders of magnitude when compared with classical optical communication. However,in the communication mode using photon-enhanced counting, the four-pixel response amplitude for counting was found to restrain the communication rate, and this counting mode is extremely dependent on the incident light intensity through experiments, which limits the sensitivity and speed of the SNSPD array’s performance advantage. Therefore,a BER theoretical calculation model for laser communication was presented using the Bayesian estimation algorithm in order to analyze the selection of counting methods for information acquisition under different light intensities and to make better use of the SNSPD array’s high sensitivity and speed and thus to obtain a lower BER.The counting method and theoretical model proposed in this work refer to array SNSPDs in the deep space field. | XIANG LI JINGROU TAN KAIMIN ZHENG LABAO ZHANG LIJIAN ZHANG WEIJI HE PENGWEI HUANG HAOCHEN LI BIAO ZHANG QI CHEN RUI GE SHUYA GUO TAO HUANG XIAOQING JIA QINGYUAN ZHAO XUECOU TU LIN KANG JIAN CHEN PEIHENG WU | 2020 | Photonics Research2020,8,5: | 1

Insights into the biosynthesis of septacidin L-heptosamine moiety unveils a VOC family sugar epimerase显示文摘L-Heptopyranoses are important components of bacterial polysaccharides and biological active secondary metabolites like septacidin(SEP),which represents a group of nucleoside antibiotics with antitumor, antifungal, and pain-relief activities. However, little is known about the formation mechanisms of those L-heptose moieties. In this study,we deciphered the biosynthetic pathway of the L,L-gluco-heptosamine moiety in SEPs by functional characterizing four genes and proposed that SepI initiates the process by oxidizing the 4’-hydroxyl of L-glycero-α-D-manno-heptose moiety of SEP-328(2)to a keto group.Subsequently,SepJ(C5 epimerase)and SepA(C3 epimerase)shape the 4’-keto-L-heptopyranose moiety by sequential epimerization reactions. At the last step,an aminotransferase SepG installs the 4’-amino group of the L,L-gluco-heptosamine moiety to generate SEP-327(3).An interesting phenomenon is that the SEP intermediates with 4’-keto-L-heptopyranose moieties exist as special bicyclic sugars with hemiacetal-hemiketal structures.Notably,L-pyranose is usually converted from D-pyranose by bifunctional C3/C5 epimerase.SepA is an unprecedented monofunctional L-pyranose C3 epimerase.Further in silico and experimental studies revealed that it represents an overlooked metal dependent-sugar epimerase family bearing vicinal oxygen chelate(VOC)architecture. | Meng Chen Zhengyan Guo Jinyuan Sun Wei Tang Min Wang Yue Tang Pengwei Li Bian Wu Yihua Chen | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,2: | 0
STUDY ON APPLICATION OF POTASSIUM TITANATE WHISKER MATERIALS IN PREPARATION OF PHOTOCATALYST显示文摘The K2Ti4O9 whiskers were chosen for the catalyst carrier, TiO2/potassium titanate photocatalyst was prepared by Sol-gel method. The product was characterated by X-ray diffraction and SEM. EDS shows that, the main peck included Ti, O, and K in potassium titanate whisker. The main peak of K disappeared and the peaks of Ti, O stayed after whisker was covered. It directed that the surface of sample was covered by TiO2. XRD shows that diffraction peak appeared, which was corresponded to the peak of anatase TiO2. In the reaction device of photochemistry, using middle-pressure mercury lamp as illumination, rhodamine B as simulant pollutant, the photocatalytic performance of TiO2/potassium titanate was studied. Under the same conditions, the lower pH, the larger illuminance, the higher temperature, the greater aeration quantum and the lower initial concentration of rhodamine B, the higher decoloration rate was got. Under our experiment conditions: pH 6, the illuminance of 250W, the temperature of 313K, and the aeration quantum of 2.0L/min. When the concentration of rhodamine B was 8mg/L The photocatalyst of TiO2/potassium titanate was 0.01g/L. The decoloration rate of TiO2/potassium titanate dealt with the rhodamine B reach over 95% in 160min, and compare with TiO2, the decoloration rate of rhodamine B was improved 0.50~1.91 multiple. TiO2/potassium titanate can be used to treatment of dye wastewater. | HUO Pengwei LI Songtian WU Chundu YAN Yongsheng WANG Lingling | 2007 | Chinese Journal of Reactive Polymers2007,16,1: | 0
An improved evaluation of the neutron background in the PandaX-Ⅱ experiment显示文摘In dark matter direct detection experiments, neutron is a serious source of background, which can mimic the dark matter-nucleus scattering signals. In this paper,we present an improved evaluation of the neutron background in the PandaX-II dark matter experiment by a novel approach.Instead of fully relying on the Monte Carlo simulation, the overall neutron background is determined from the neutron-induced high energy signals in the data.In addition, the probability of producing a dark-matter-like background per neutron is evaluated with a complete Monte Carlo generator, where the correlated emission of neutron(s)andγ(s)in the(α,n)reactions and spontaneous fissions is taken into consideration. With this method, the neutron backgrounds in the Run 9(26-ton-day)and Run 10(28-ton-day)data sets of PandaX-II are estimated to be(0.66±0.24)and(0.47±0.25)events,respectively. | QiuHong Wang Abdusalam Abdukerim Wei Chen Xun Chen YunHua Chen XiangYi Cui YingJie Fan DeQing Fang ChangBo Fu LiSheng Geng Karl Giboni Franco Giuliani LinHui Gu XuYuan Guo Ke Han ChangDa He Di Huang Yan Huang YanLin Huang Zhou Huang Peng Ji XiangDong Ji YongLin Ju YiHui Lai Kun Liang HuaXuan Liu JiangLai Liu WenBo Ma YuGang Ma YaJun Mao Yue Meng Parinya Namwongsa KaiXiang Ni JinHua Ning XuYang Ning XiangXiang Ren ChangSong Shang Lin Si AnDi Tan AnQing Wang HongWei Wang Meng Wang SiGuang Wang XiuLi Wang Zhou Wang MengMeng Wu ShiYong Wu JingKai Xia MengJiao Xiao PengWei Xie BinBin Yan JiJun Yang Yong Yang ChunXu Yu Jumin Yuan Dan Zhang HongGuang Zhang Tao Zhang Li Zhao QiBin Zheng JiFang Zhou Ning Zhou XiaoPeng Zhou | 2020 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2020,63,3: | 0
Constraining self-interacting dark matter with the full dataset of PandaX-II显示文摘Self-interacting dark matter(SIDM)is a leading candidate proposed to solve discrepancies between predictions of the prevailing cold dark matter theory and observations of galaxies. Many SIDM models predict the existence of a light force carrier that mediates strong dark matter self-interactions.If the mediator couples to the standard model particles,it could produce characteristic signals in dark matter direct detection experiments. We report searches for signals of SIDM models with a light mediator using the full dataset of the PandaX-II experiment, basing on a total exposure of 132 tonne-days.No significant excess over background is found, and our likelihood analysis leads to a strong upper limit on the dark matter-nucleon coupling strength. We further combine the PandaX-II constraints and those from observations of the light element abundances in the early universe, and show that direct detection and cosmological probes can provide complementary constraints on dark matter models with a light mediator. | Jijun Yang Abdusalam Abdukerim Wei Chen Xun Chen Yunhua Chen Chen Cheng Xiangyi Cui Yingjie Fan Deqing Fang Changbo Fu Mengting Fu Lisheng Geng Karl Giboni Linhui Gu Xuyuan Guo Ke Han Changda He Shengming He Di Huang Yan Huang Ran Huo Yanlin Huang Zhou Huang Xiangdong Ji Yonglin Ju Shuaijie Li Qing Lin Huaxuan Liu Jianglai Liu Xiaoying Lu Wenbo Ma Yugang Ma Yajun Mao Yue Meng Nasir Shaheed Kaixiang Ni Jinhua Ning Xuyang Ning Xiangxiang Ren Changsong Shang Guofang Shen Lin Si Andi Tan Anqing Wang Hongwei Wang Meng Wang QiuHong Wang Siguang Wang Wei Wang Xiuli Wang Zhou Wang Mengmeng Wu Shiyong Wu Weihao Wu Jingkai Xia Mengjiao Xiao Xiang Xiao Pengwei Xie Binbin Yan Yong Yang Chunxu Yu Hai-Bo Yu Jumin Yuan Ying Yuan Xinning Zeng Dan Zhang Tao Zhang Li Zhao Qibin Zheng Jifang Zhou Ning Zhou Xiaopeng Zhou | 2021 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2021,64,11: | 0
Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector. Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements, such as its low-energy threshold, high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors, and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors. In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable, assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition, approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected. This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter, which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle. Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better, depending on the central value, and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. | 18 | Ladder-Type Thienoacenaphthopyrazine-Based Molecules:Synthesis,Properties, and Application to Construct High-Performance Polymer for Organic Solar Cells显示文摘We present a new design strategy to synthesize ladder-type thienoacenaphthopyrazine(TAP)-based monomers through two different coupling reactions from starting material 5,6-dibromoacenaphthylene-1,2-dione.By bringing varous electron-deficient groups together(such as five-membered aromatic rings, pyrazine, fluorine, and thiadiazols),this new family of molecules exhibits good stability in ambient conditions and easily tunes the electronic, photophysical and film-forming properties of polymers. The unique molecular shape with its extendedπ-conjugated backbone perpendicular to the polymer chain, offers a remarkable platform for the development of a semiconducting polymer with rare geometry. The planar and enlarged conjugated backbone enables TAP-based copolymers PTAP1 and PTAP2 to exhibit distinguishing solubility properties that are different from small-molecule-based polymers, indicating the advantages of novel ladder-type monomers.Their insolubility in chloroform supports orthogonal solvent processing to fabricate layer-by-layer organic solar cells(LBL-OSCs).Owing to its shorterπ–πstacking distance, higher hole mobility, and more favorable phase separation caused bymultifluorine substitution, polymer PTAP1-based LBL-OSC exhibits the highest efficiency of 17.14%by using Y6-BO as the electron acceptor while the efficiency for the PTAP2-based device is 14.20%.This high efficiency indicates the tremendous potential of these novel building units. | Pengwei Han Man Lin Qiuju Jiang Haijun Ning Mingbin Su Li Dang Feng He Qinghe Wu | 2023 | CCS Chemistry2023,5,6: | 0
Oxygen-vacancy-containing cerium oxide nanoparticle-decorated nanonetwork-structured carbon toward high-performance lithium–sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries have been regarded as promising next-generation energy-storage devices owing to their inherently high theoretical energy density.Unfortunately, the poor capacity and cycling life caused by severe polysulfide shuttle effect and sluggish redox kinetics in sulfur cathodes greatly impede the practical application of Li-S batteries.Herein,a new class of nanonetworkstructured carbon decorated with oxygen-vacancy-containing cerium oxide nanoparticles(NSC-CeO_(2−x)),in which carbon skeleton is composed of highly conductive carbon nanotube core welded by hybrid carbon shell, has been developed via one-step heating treatment of hybrid molecular brush and further employed as functional interlayer to modify separator of Li-S battery.Owing to the synergistic effect of the highly active CeO_(2−x)nanoparticles and the threedimensional carbon nanonetwork in enhancing the preservation of the soluble polysulfides and boosting the redox kinetics of sulfur species, the NSC-CeO_(2−x)significantly promotes the electrochemical performance of sulfur cathode. As a result, the as-constructed Li-S batteries exhibit an ultrahigh initial sulfur utilization of 92.9%and an extremely large capacity of 751mA h g^(−1) at a high rate of 5 C.Remarkably,a stable capacity of 728 mA h g^(−1)over 300 cycles at 1 C is also achieved. | Chuanfa Li Pengwei Ma Shenghao Lin Zongheng Cen Junlong Huang Yin Cui Shimei Li Shaohong Liu Ruowen Fu Dingcai Wu | 2023 | SusMat2023,3,1: | 0
