2Distributional responses to climate change for alpine species of Cyananthus and Primula endemic to the Himalaya-Hengduan Mountains显示文摘Global warming increases the vulnerability of plants, especially alpine herbaceous species, to local extinction. In this study, we collected species distribution information from herbarium specimens for ten selected Cyananthus and Primula alpine species endemic to the Himalaya-Hengduan Mountains(HHM).Combined with climate data from WorldClim, we used Maximum Entropy Modeling(MaxEnt) to project distributional changes from the current time period to 2070. Our predictions indicate that, under a wide range of climate change scenarios, the distributions of all species will shift upward in elevation and northward in latitude; furthermore, under these scenarios, species will expand the size of their range. For the majority of the species in this study, habitats are available to mitigate upward and northward shifts that are projected to be induced by changing climate. If current climate projections, however, increase in magnitude or continue to increase past our projection dates, suitable habitat for future occupation by alpine species will be limited as we predict range contraction or less range expansion for some of the species under more intensified climate scenarios. Our study not only underscores the value of herbarium source information for future climate model projections but also suggests that future studies on the effects of climate change on alpine species should include additional biotic and abiotic factors to provide greater resolution of the local dynamics associated with species persistence under a warming climate.Xie He Kevin S. 3Novel fibrin-fibronectin matrix accelerates mice skin wound healing显示文摘Plasma fibrinogen(F1)and fibronectin(pFN)polymerize to form a fibrin clot that is both a hemostatic and provisional matrix for wound healing.About 90%of plasma F1 has a homodimeric pair ofγchains(γγF1),and 10%has a heterodimeric pair ofγand more acidicγ′chains(γγ′F1).We have synthesized a novel fibrin matrix exclusively from a 1:1(molar ratio)complex ofγγ′F1 and pFN in the presence of highly active thrombin and recombinant Factor XIII(rFXIIIa).In this matrix,the fibrin nanofibers were decorated with pFN nanoclusters(termedγγ′F1:pFN fibrin).In contrast,fibrin made from 1:1 mixture ofγγF1 and pFN formed a sporadic distribution of“pFN droplets”(termedγγF1+pFN fibrin).Theγγ′F1:pFN fibrin enhanced the adhesion of primary human umbilical vein endothelium cells(HUVECs)relative to theγγF1+FN fibrin.Three dimensional(3D)culturing showed that theγγ′F1:pFN complex fibrin matrix enhanced the proliferation of both HUVECs and primary human fibroblasts.HUVECs in the 3Dγγ′F1:pFN fibrin exhibited a starkly enhanced vascular morphogenesis while an apoptotic growth profile was observed in theγγF1+pFN fibrin.Relative toγγF1+pFN fibrin,mouse dermal wounds that were sealed byγγ′F1:pFN fibrin exhibited accelerated and enhanced healing.This study suggests that a 3D pFN presentation on a fibrin matrix promotes wound healing.Carlos Poblete Jara Ou Wang Thais Paulino do Prado Ayman Ismail Frank Marco Fabian Han Li Licio A.Velloso Mark A.Carlson William Burgess Yuguo Lei William H.Velander Eliana P.Araújo 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,4:5

6Deciphering the epitranscriptome: A green perspective显示文摘The advent of high-throughput sequencing technologies coupled with new detection methods of RNA modifications has enabled investigation of a new layer of gene regulation the epitranscriptome. With over 100 known RNA modifications, understanding the repertoire of RNA modifications is a huge undertaking. This review summarizes what is known about RNA modifications with an emphasis on discoveries in plants. RNA ribose modifications, base methylations and pseudouridylation are required for normal development in Arabidopsis, as mutations in the enzymes modifying them have diverse effects on plant development and stress responses. These modifications can regulate RNA structure,turnover and translation. Transfer RNA and ribosomal RNA modifications have been mapped extensively and theirfunctions investigated in many organisms, including plants.Recent work exploring the locations, functions and targeting of N^6-methyladenosine(m^6A), 5-methylcytosine(m^5C), pseudouridine(Ψ), and additional modifications in mRNAs and nc RNAs are highlighted, as well as those previously known on t RNAs and r RNAs. 7LSTM RNN:detecting exploit kits using redirection chain sequences显示文摘While consumers use the web to perform routine activities,they are under the constant threat of attack from malicious websites.Even when visiting‘trusted’sites,there is always a risk that site is compromised,and,hosting a malicious script.In this scenario,the injected script would typically force the victim’s browser to undergo a series of redirects before reaching an attacker-controlled domain,which,delivers the actual malware.Although these malicious redirection chains aim to frustrate detection and analysis efforts,they could be used to help identify web-based attacks.Building upon previous work,this paper presents the first known application of a Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)network to detect Exploit Kit(EK)traffic,utilising the structure of HTTP redirects.Samples are processed as sequences,where each timestep represents a redirect and contains a unique combination of 48 features.The experiment is conducted using a ground-truth dataset of 1279 EK and 5910 benign redirection chains.Hyper-parameters are tuned via K-fold cross-validation(5f-CV),with the optimal configuration achieving an F1 score of 0.9878 against the unseen test set.Furthermore,we compare the results of isolated feature categories to assess their importance.Jonah Burgess Philip O’Kane Sakir Sezer Domhnall Carlin 2021Cybersecurity2021,4,1:4
8甘肃中部地区禾谷镰孢的变异研究显示文摘为掌握禾谷镰孢在甘肃中部地区的分布及变异情况,从根部表现有坏死和叶鞘发褐的小麦幼苗的不同部位.小麦地土壤及玉米籽粒.玉米茎秆上分离禾谷镰孢,并以形态学为基础,参照Nelson分类系统进行鉴定.结果表明,在分离到的43个镰刀菌菌株中,有14 个菌株经鉴定为禾谷镰孢,均从玉米茎秆上分离到,小麦根部.小麦叶鞘.小麦地土壤.玉米籽粒中分离到的镰刀菌中未见禾谷镰孢.将禾谷镰孢在特定条件下培养后,发现14 个禾谷镰孢菌株产生子囊壳的数量不同,为2-90个.在以Fg16为引物的PCR 反应中,随机选取的11个禾谷镰孢菌株都产生0.41kb的PCR 产物,而6个对照菌株都产生0.50kb的片段,证明引物Fg16可以区分禾谷镰孢菌株群体的遗传多态性.以Tri13为引物的PCR 反应显示,11个禾谷镰孢菌株以及3 个中国对照菌株都产生脱氧雪腐镰刀菌烯醇(DON)毒素,而3个澳大利亚对照菌株产生雪腐镰刀菌烯醇(NIV)毒素.李金花 纪莉景 柴兆祥 Knight T E Burgess L W 2009草业学报2009,18,1:3

12肝细胞(HepG2)表面apoE代谢与蛋白多糖的影响显示文摘目的 探讨肝细胞表面载脂蛋白E(apoE)的代谢及蛋白多糖对其的影响。方法 采用抗apoE单克隆抗体(7C9)特异性结合方法,分析肝素、硫酸软骨素和软骨素酶及xyloside 对HepG2细胞表面apoE结合与解离的影响。结果 HepG2细胞在含β-D-xyloside的培养液中生长,细胞表面apoE可减少45%,而apoE分泌则增加4.3倍;与肝素酶(3 U/ml)或肝素(l mg/ml)一起孵育可分别减少细胞表面apoE 25.0%和30.5%,而与软骨素ABC酶(1.5 U/ml)孵育可减少细胞表面apoE 40%;硫酸软骨素A和B可分别减少细胞表面apoE 23.6%和15.3%,硫酸软骨素C则没有影响作用;氨基多糖减少细胞表面apoE后,可增加LDL对HepG2细胞表面的结合1.8倍。结论 肝细胞表面apoE主要(约40%)通过硫酸软骨素蛋白多糖、小部分(约23%)通过硫酸乙酰肝素蛋白多糖与细胞表面连接;细胞表面apoE水平降低可增加LDL与细胞表面的结合。梁平 Jim W. 13Colorectal cancer biomarkers: To be or not to be?
