1QoS Guided Min—Min Heuristic for Grid Task Scheduling显示文摘Task scheduling is an integrated component of computing. With the emergence of Grid and ubiquitous computing, new challenges appear in task scheduling based on properties such as security, quality of service, and lack of central control within distributed administrative domains. A Grid task scheduling framework must be able to deal with these issues. One of the goals of Grid task scheduling is to achieve high system throughput while matching applications with the available computing resources. This matching of resources in a non-deterministically shared heterogeneous environment leads to concerns over Quality of Service (QoS). In this paper a novel QoS guided task scheduling algorithm for Grid computing is introduced. The proposed novel algorithm is based on a general adaptive scheduling heuristics that includes QoS guidance.The algorithm is evaluated within a simulated Grid environment. The experimental results show that the new QoS guided Min-Min heuristic can lead to significant performance gain for a variety of applications. 3Current position of ALPPS in the surgical landscape of CRLM treatment proposals显示文摘The Authors summarize problems,criticisms but also advantages and indications regarding the recent surgical proposal of associating liver partition and portal vein ligation(PVL)for staged hepatectomy(ALPPS)for the surgical management of colorectal liver metastases.Looking at published data,the technique,when compared with other traditional and well established methods such as PVL/portal vein embolisation(PVE),seems to give real advantages in terms of volumetric gain of future liver remnant.However,major concerns are raised in the literature and some questions remain unanswered,preliminary experiences seem to be promising.The method has been adopted all over the world over the last 2 years,even if oncological long-term results remain unknown,and benefit for patients is questionable.No prospective studies comparing traditional methods(PVE,PVL or classical 2 staged hepatectomy)with ALPPS are available to date.Technical reinterpretations of the original method were also proposed in order to enhance feasability and increase safety of the technique.More data about morbidity and mortality are also expected.The real role of ALPPS is,to date,still to be established.Large clinical studies,even if,for ethical reasons,in well selected cohorts of patients,are expected to better define the indications for this new surgical strategy.Marcello Donati Gregor A Stavrou Karl J Oldhafer 2013World Journal of Gastroenterology2013,19,39:16
4Validation of the Rockall scoring system for outcomes from non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding in a Canadian setting显示文摘AIM: To validate the Rockall scoring system for predicting outcomes of rebleeding, and the need for a surgical procedure and death. METHODS: We used data extracted from the Registry of Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding and Endoscopy including information of 1869 patients with non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding treated in Canadian hospitals. Risk scores were calculated and used to classify patients based on outcomes. For each outcome, we used χ2 goodness-of-fit tests to assess the degree of calibration, and built receiver operating characteristic curves and calculated the area under the curve (AUC) to evaluate the discriminative ability of the scoring system. RESULTS: For rebleeding, the χ2 goodness-of-fit test indicated an acceptable fit for the model [χ2 (8) = 12.83, P = 0.12]. For surgical procedures [χ2 (8) = 5.3, P = 0.73] and death [χ2 (8) = 3.78, P = 0.88], the tests showed solid correspondence between observed proportions and predicted probabilities. The AUC was 0.59 (95% CI: 0.55-0.62) for the outcome of rebleeding and 0.60 (95% CI: 0.54-0.67) for surgical procedures, representing apoor discriminative ability of the scoring system. For the outcome of death, the AUC was 0.73 (95% CI: 0.69-0.78), indicating an acceptable discriminative ability. 5Catalytic domain of PDC-E2 contains epitopes recognized by antimitochondrial antibodies in primary biliary cirrhosis显示文摘AIM:To search for further immunodominant peptides of the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex E2-component (PDC-E2) recognized by antimitochondrial antibodies (AMA) in primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC). METHODS:Sera from 95 patients with PBC were tested by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay against 33 synthetic overlapping peptides (25 amino acids; aa) covering the entire length of the E2-subunit of PDC-E2. Furthermore,the inner lipoyl peptide 167-184 was used in an unlip oylated and a lipoylated form as well as coupled to ovalbumin. Sera from 11 AMA negative/ANA posit ive PBC patients,63 patients with other liver disorders and 22 healthy blood donors served as controls.RESULTS:Of the 95 PBC-sera,74% reacted with the peptide 475-499 and 58% with the pept ide 407-431 located within the catalytic domain of PDC-E2. Patients with other disorders or healthy controls were positive in only up to 18%. Antibodies to the unlipoylatedand lip oylated pept ide 167-184 within the inner lipoyl domain were found in only 5% and 11% of the PBC sera,respectively; using ovalbumin-coupled peptides,the incidence increased up to 57% (unlipoylated form). 6Genetic testing in congenital heart disease:A clinical approach显示文摘Congenital heart disease(CHD) is the most common type of birth defect. Traditionally, a polygenic model defined by the interaction of multiple genes and environmental factors was hypothesized to account for different forms of CHD. It is now understood that the contribution of genetics to CHD extends beyond a single unified paradigm. For example, monogenic models and chromosomal abnormalities have been associated with various syndromic and non-syndromic forms of CHD. In such instances, genetic investigation and testing may potentially play an important role in clinical care. A family tree with a detailed phenotypic description serves as the initial screening tool to identify potentially inherited defects and to guide further genetic investigation. The selection of a genetic test is contingent upon the particular diagnostic hypothesis generated by clinical examination. Genetic investigation in CHD may carry the potential to improve prognosis by yielding valuable information with regards to personalized medical care, confidence in the clinical diagnosis, and/or targeted patient followup. Moreover, genetic assessment may serve as a tool to predict recurrence risk, define the pattern of inheritance within a family, and evaluate the need for further family screening. In some circumstances, prenatal or preimplantation genetic screening could identify fetuses or embryos at high risk for CHD. 9儿童原发性限制型心肌病三例的临床特征及遗传分析显示文摘目的研究3例儿童原发性限制型心肌病( restrictive cardiomyopathy, RCM)的临床特征及心肌病理改变,并进行心肌肌节蛋白基因突变分析,以期发现遗传致病基础。方法采集和分析3例RCM患儿及其父母的临床资料。同时选择100名健康儿童作为正常对照。病例1和病例2接受心肌活检,标本行常规组织学和电镜检查。聚合酶链式反应(PCR)扩增RCM患儿肌钙蛋白I、肌钙蛋白T、β肌球蛋白重链、肌动蛋白基因编码外显子及附近上下游序列,直接双向测序并进行分析。如发现突变,则进一步检测该突变在患儿父母及正常对照儿童中的分布情况。结果3例患儿病情呈进行性加重。病例1合并小型膜周部室间隔缺损,病例2合并室间隔中下段轻度肥厚。组织学检查提示病例1存在广泛的心肌细胞排列紊乱和轻度纤维化,电镜显示肌节数量减少,线粒体显著增大变形;病例2心肌细胞轻度肥厚和间质纤维化,电镜检查显示z线排列紊乱,间距不规则。遗传分析分别在病例1和病例3中发现了肌钙蛋白I基因R204H、R192H杂合突变,在病例2中发现了肌钙蛋白T基因100—101delNE杂合突变,所有突变所在蛋白序列均高度保守。所有突变只出现在患儿,而父母及100名正常对照儿童中均未检测到相同突变。结论3例RCM患儿确诊后病情均进展迅速。3例患儿进行遗传分析均发现了致病突变,其中2个为肌钙蛋白I基因突变,1个为肌钙蛋白T基因突变。研究结果有助于加深对儿童原发性RCM发病机制的认识。杨世伟 陈彦 李军 殷杰 秦玉明 Gregor Andelfinger 汪道武 曹克将 2013中华心血管病杂志2013,41,4:6

14Predictors of disease severity in ulcerative colitis patients from Southwestern Ontario显示文摘AIM:To understand the demographic characteristics of patients in Southwestern Ontario,Canada with ulcerative colitis(UC)in order to predict disease severity. METHODS:Records from 1996 to 2001 were exam- ined to create a database of UC patients seen in the London Health Sciences Centre South Street Hospital Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinic.To be included, patients'charts were required to have information of their disease presentation and a minimum of 5 years of follow-up.Charts were reviewed using standardized data collection forms.Disease severity was generated during the chart review process,and non-endoscopic Mayo Score criteria were collected into a composite. RESULTS:One hundred and two consecutive patients'data were entered into the database.Demographic analyses revealed that 51%of the patients were male, the mean age at diagnosis was 39 years,13.7%had a first degree relative with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD),61.8%were nonsmokers and 24.5%were ex-smokers.In 22.5%of patients the disease was limited to the rectum,in 21.6%disease was limited to the sigmoid colon,in 22.5%disease was limited to the left colon,and 32.4%of patients had pancolitis. Standard multiple regression analysis which regressed a composite of physician global assessment of disease severity,average number of bowel movements,and average amount of blood in bowel movements on year of diagnosis and age at time of diagnosis was significant,R 2=0.306,F(7,74)=4.66,P<0.01. Delay from symptoms to diagnosis of UC,gender, family history of IBD,smoking status and disease severity at the time of diagnosis didnot significantly predict the composite measure. 15氟利昂F113分子在飞秒激光作用下的多光子电离解离动力学显示文摘大气臭氧层因吸收太阳紫外光,是人类必不可少的保护伞.氟利昂在太阳光辐射下解离生成破坏臭氧的游离态氯原子,是破坏大气臭氧层的主要元凶之一.本文利用飞行时间质谱技术和离子速度成像技术研究了氟利昂F113(三氟三氯乙烷)分子在800 nm飞秒光作用下的多光子电离解离动力学.利用飞行时间质谱探测技术,得到了三氟三氯乙烷在该波长飞秒激光作用下发生多光子电离解离产生的碎片质谱.通过荷质比对碎片质谱进行了详细的标定和分析.在质谱上未发现母体离子,所有观察到的离子都是由于激光脉冲作用下产生的碎片.三个最主要的碎片离子是CFCl_2^+,CF_2Cl^+,C_2F_3Cl_2^+.通过飞行时间质谱标定,发现并归属了多个解离通道.三个主要的解离机理分别为:1)C-Cl键断裂直接生产氯自由基的通道C_2F_3Cl_3^+→C_2F_3Cl_2^++Cl;2)C-C键断裂C_2F_3Cl_2^+→CFCl_2^++CF_2Cl;3)C-C键断裂C_2F_3Cl_3^+→CF_2Cl^++CFCl_2.利用离子速度成像技术对这三个主要通道产生的碎片离子进行成像,得到了C_2F_3Cl_2^+,CFCl_2^+和CF_2Cl^+离子的速度影像.由C-Cl键断裂产生的碎片离子C_2F_3Cl_2^+的速度分布由两个高斯分布曲线拟合,而由C-C键断裂产生的碎片离子CFCl_2^+和CF_2Cl^+可以用一个高斯曲线拟合.通过影像分析得到了解离碎片的平动能分布和角向分布各向异性参数等详尽的动力学信息.结合高精度密度泛函理论计算对解离动力学进行了进一步的分析和讨论.深入认识氟利昂的解离动力学可为进一步控制破坏臭氧层提供理论参考和实验依据.刘玉柱 陈云云 郑改革 金峰 Gregor Knopp 2016物理学报2016,65,5:4
16服务器负载均衡架构之应用层负载均衡——服务器集群的高扩展性和高可用性显示文摘本文的第一部分介绍了传输层服务器负载均衡的解决方案,例如基于TCP/IP的负载均衡器等等,并分析了这些方案的优缺点。TCP/IP层的负载均衡将TCP连接分散到服务器集群中众多真实的服务器上。通常情况下,特别是对于静态的网站而言,采用这种方案就可以满足需求了。不过,动态网站常常需要更高层(相对传输层来说)的负载均衡技术。例如,如果服务器端的应用必须处理缓存或者应用会话数据,那么如何有效进行会话保持就要作为考虑重点了。在第二部分中,我将讨论如何在应用层实现服务器负载均衡,以满足众多动态网站的需求。Gregor Roth 李明 2009程序员2009,,1:3

19Hazard Footprint-Based Normalization of Economic Losses from Tropical Cyclones in China During 1983–2015显示文摘Loss normalization is the prerequisite for understanding the effects of socioeconomic development,vulnerability, and climate changes on the economic losses from tropical cyclones. In China, limited studies have been done on loss normalization methods of damages caused by tropical cyclones, and most of them have adopted an administrative division-based approach to define the exposure levels. In this study, a hazard footprint-based normalization method was proposed to improve the spatial resolution of affected areas and the associated exposures to influential tropical cyclones in China. The meteorological records of precipitation and near-surface wind speed were used to identify the hazard footprint of each influential tropical cyclone. Provincial-level and national-level(total)economic loss normalization(PLN and TLN) were carried out based on the respective hazard footprints, covering loss records between 1999–2015 and 1983–2015, respectively.Socioeconomic factors—inflation, population, and wealth(GDP per capita)—were used to normalize the losses. A significant increasing trend was found in inflation-adjusted losses during 1983–2015, while no significant trend was found after normalization with the TLN method.
