| 1 | TENSILE STRENGTH AND CREEP RESISTANCE OF Mg-9Al-1Zn BASED ALLOYS WITH CALCIUM ADDITION显示文摘Small amount of calcium addition to the Mg-9A1-0.8Zn-0.2Mn (AZ91) alloy resulted in the obvious influence on mechanical properties. The yield strength of the alloys increased with the increase of Ca addition and maximum strength was obtained from the alloy containing 0.15% of Ca. The creep resistance at the temperatures between 150-200℃ was also significantly increased with Ca addition. The creep rate (at 200℃, 50MPa) of the alloy with00.15% of Ca addition was one order of magnitude lower than that of the base alloy (AZ91). Microstructural observations revealed that the addition of calcium refined the microstructure and enhanced the thermal stability of the β precipitates, which accounted for the improvement of creep resistance at high temperatures. | Y.S. | 2 | INTERACTION OF PRECIPITATION AND RECRYSTALLIZATION IN RAPIDLY SOLIDIFIED Cu-Cr-Zr-Mg ALLOY显示文摘In this paper; the recrystallization process during aging for a rapidly solidified Cu-Cr-Zr-Mg alloy has been investigated. It is found that the discotinuous crystallization process has been partially retarded by the ultra-fine and dispersed precipitation upon aging after deformation. Thus, a phenomenon of combined in situ and discontinuous recrystallization has been observed in the rapidly solidified Cu-Cr-Zr-Mg alloy.On the nucleation and growth of recrystallization, the precipitated phases are coarscned and dissolved in the front of grain boundaries following a re-precipitation in the recrystallization area,which results in the much more dispersed precipitates. | Liu, P. | 5 | ATOMIC SCALE MECHANISM OF RESTRAINED EMBRITTLEMENT IN AMORPHOUS Fe_(78)B_(13)Si_9 ALLOY BY ELECTRIC PULSE RAPID ANNEALING显示文摘The direct observations of the atomic arrangements in both conventional furnace annealed and electric pulse rapid annealed Fe78B13Si9 amorphous alloy have been conducted by the lattice imaging technique in a higt resolution electron microscope. The results showed that the embrittlement of the alloy was related to the extent of atomic rearrangements during the annealing processes. The embrittlement of the alloy after 1hour conventional furnace annealing at about 270℃ is caused by the sufficient atomic rearrangements which are characterized by the growth of some bct Fe3B-like atomic short range ordering regions already existed in the as-quenched structure. Electric pulse rapid annealing can effectively retard the above-mentioned atomic rearrangements and thus restrain the embrittlement. | 6 | CRYSTAL STRUCTURE AND ELECTROCHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF Zr(Mn_(1-x)Ni_x)_2(0.40≤x≤0.75) HYDROGEN STORAGE ALLOYS显示文摘The crystal structure, phase abundance and the electrochemical properties of Zr(Mn1-x Nix)2 (0.40 ≤x≤0.75) alloys were investigated by means of XRD, Rietveld refinement method and electrochemical measurements. The alloys are multiphase. C15 Laves phase occurs as a main phase accompanying with C14 phase and other minor phases, indicating that Ni element is C15-stabilized element for ZrMn2 alloy. The phase abundance and lattice parameters of Laves phase are influenced significantly by Ni substitution. The Zr(Mn0.45 Ni0.55)2 alloy with the highest amount of C15 phase exhibits the maximum electrochemical capacity of 242m Ah/g. For the model, a comparison between CaO-based flux and Mg-based flux was made and the results show that the desulfurization rate of the Mg-based flux is far more than that of CaO-based flux. On the basis of the model calculation, on comparison of CaO-CaF2 flux and calcium aluminate flux, the desulfurization rates of the two fluxes are close to each other.
