12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 2Highly energetic and flammable metallic glasses显示文摘Energetic materials are solids that release a large amount of energy in combustion. The evaluation depends on both combustion heat and ignition temperature. Conventional non-metallic materials have low ignition temperature but small combustion heat,whereas metals have large combustion heat but high ignition temperatures. We show that many metallic glasses, combining the merits of both metals and non-metals, have large combustion heat, approximately twice that of the non-metals, and low ignition temperature that is several hundreds of Kelvin lower than that of the metals. The ease in igniting metallic glass results from the low thermal conductivity of the materials and the storage of energy in their liquid-like atomic structure. Metallic glass ribbons outweigh metallic nanoparticles due to their high production efficiency, low cost and nontoxicity. 3Relationship between full-thickness macular hole and retinal break/lattice degeneration显示文摘Background: The purpose is to investigate the relationship between full-thickness macular hole(MH) and retinal break(RB) and/or lattice degeneration.Methods: Patients diagnosed as full-thickness MH and referred to Dr. Lin Lu from January 2009 to December 2013 were evaluated. All patients underwent general ophthalmologic examinations, fundus examination and optical coherence tomography(OCT). The RB and/or lattice degeneration were recorded.Results: Totally 183 eyes of 167 patients were included. The sex ratio of men to women was 1:2.88. A total of 17 eyes were pseudophakic and 166 eyes were phakic. RB and/or lattice degeneration were found in 62 eyes(33.88%). The prevalence of RB and/or lattice degeneration was similar between men and women(P=0.344>0.05). There was no statistical difference between the pseudophakic eyes and phakic eyes(P=0.138>0.05). All of the RB and/or lattice degeneration were located near or anterior to the equator. The inferior quadrants and the vertical meridian were af ected more often than the superior quadrants and the horizontal meridian.Conclusions: We identified a high incidence of RB/lattice degeneration in cases of full-thickness MH. 4Facile Synthesis of FePS3 Nanosheets@MXene Composite as a High-Performance Anode Material for Sodium Storage显示文摘Searching for advanced anode materials with excellent electrochemical properties in sodium-ion battery is essential and imperative for next-generation energy storage system to solve the energy shortage problem.In this work,two-dimensional(2D)ultrathin FePS3 nanosheets,a typical ternary metal phosphosulfide,are first prepared by ultrasonic exfoliation.The novel 2D/2D heterojunction of FePS3 nanosheets@MXene composite is then successfully synthesized by in situ mixing ultrathin MXene nanosheets with FePS3 nanosheets.The resultant FePS3 nanosheets@MXene hybrids can increase the electronic conductivity and specific surface area,assuring excellent surface and interfacial charge transfer abilities.Furthermore,the unique heterojunction endows FePS3 nanosheets@MXene composite to promote the diffusion of Na^+ and alleviate the drastic change in volume in the cyclic process,enhancing the sodium storage capability.Consequently,the few-layered FePS3 nanosheets uniformly coated by ultrathin MXene provide an exceptional reversible capacity of 676.1 mAh g^−1 at the current of 100 mA g^−1 after 90 cycles,which is equivalent to around 90.6% of the second-cycle capacity(746.4 mAh g^−1).This work provides an original protocol for constructing 2D/2D material and demonstrates the FePS3@MXene composite as a potential anode material with excellent property for sodium-ion batteries.Yonghao Ding Yu Chen Na Xu Xintong Lian Linlin Li Yuxiang Hu Shengjie Peng 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,4:2
5Subsurface reconstruction and saturation of surface bonds显示文摘Surface reconstructions and stabilization mechanisms have been great challenges for insulators. Based on accurate determination of the long-sought atomic structure of the spinel(1 1 1) surface, here we show that the surface is stabilized by an unconventional mechanism. In general, solid surfaces have unsaturated chemical bonds and are prone to atomic reconstruction to saturate them. The spinel(1 1 1) surface,however, has the surface bonds fully saturated, while the unsaturated bonds remain only in the subsurface. It undergoes a reconstruction that keeps the topmost atomic layer unchanged, but has the subsurface atoms completely rearranged. Such a reconstruction results in a perfect compensation of the surface polarity and a large reduction in the surface energy. 6A Role for Transmembrane Protein 16C/Slack Impairment in Excitatory Nociceptive Synaptic Plasticity in the Pathogenesis of Remifentanil-induced Hyperalgesia in Rats显示文摘Remifentanil is widely used to control intraoperative pain. However, its analgesic effect is limited by the generation of postoperative hyperalgesia. In this study, we investigated whether the impairment of transmembrane protein 16C(TMEM16C)/Slack is required for a-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionic receptor(AMPAR) activation in remifentanil-induced postoperative hyperalgesia. Remifentanil anesthesia reduced the paw withdrawal threshold from 2 h to 48 h postoperatively,with a decrease in the expression of TMEM16C and Slack in the dorsal root ganglia(DRG) and spinal cord.Knockdown of TMEM16C in the DRG reduced the expression of Slack and elevated the basal peripheral sensitivity and AMPAR expression and function. Overexpression of TMEM16C in the DRG impaired remifentanilinduced ERK1/2 phosphorylation and behavioral hyperalgesia. AMPAR-mediated current and neuronal excitability were downregulated by TMEM16C overexpression in the spinal cord. 9A periodic DFT study on adsorption of small molecules(CH4,CO,H2O,H2S,NH3)on the WO3(001) surface-supported Au显示文摘Gas molecules(such as CH4,CO,H2O,H2S,NH_3)adsorption on the pure and Au-doped WO3(001)surface have been studied by Density functional theory calculations with generalized gradient approximation.Based on the the calculation of adsorption energy,we found the most stable adsorption site for gas molecules by comparing the adsorption energies of different gas molecules on the WO3(001)surface.We have also compared the adsorption energy of five different gas molecules on the WO3(001)surface,our calculation results show that when the five kinds of gases are adsorbed on the pure WO3(001)surface,the order of the surface adsorption energy is CO>H2S>CH4>H2O>NH3.And the results show that NH3 is the most easily adsorbed gas among the other four gases adsorbed on the surface of pure WO3(001)surface.We also calculated the five different gases on the Au-doped WO3(001)surface.The order of adsorption energy was found to be different from the previous calculation:CO>CH4>H2S>H2O>NH3.These results provide a new route for the potential applications of Au-doped WO3 in gas molecules adsorption.Long Lin Jingtao Huang Weiyang Yu Chaozheng He Hualong Tao Yonghao Xu Linghao Zhu Pengtao Wang Zhanying Zhang 2020Communications in Theoretical Physics2020,72,3:1

12Manganese enhances the antitumor function of CD8^(+)T cells by inducing type I interferon production显示文摘The presence of cytosolic DNA at tumor sites and the activation of the cGAS-STING pathway have been implicated in the activation of antitumor immune responses.1,2,3 Manganese (Mn) is a necessary trace element for intracellular activities. It plays important roles in development, digestion, reproduction, antioxidant defense, energy production, immunity, and neuronal activity regulation.4 Mn was reported to enhance cGAS-STING activation through increased sensitivity to dsDNA during viral infections.5 However, it is unclear whether Mn can enhance antitumor immune functions. Here, we revealed that Mn2+ could inhibit the development of murine hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) through immune modulations. It upregulated IFN-γ and TNF-α production in splenic and tumor-infiltrating CD8+ T cells. Moreover, Mn2+ significantly increased type I interferon (IFN) production and type I IFN-stimulated gene (ISG) expression in tumor-bearing mice. Further analysis revealed that myeloid cells could upregulate type I IFN production and increase costimulatory molecule expression upon Mn2+ stimulation. In vivo depletion of CD8+ T cells or treatment of IFNAR KO mice diminished the antitumor activity of Mn2+, suggesting that the antitumor function of Mn2+ is dependent on both CD8+ T cells and type I IFN signaling.
