| 1 | Electromagnetic radiation early warning criterion of rock burst based on statistical theory显示文摘Rock bursts are serious natural disasters encountered worldwide in coal mining and rock engineering.In order to forecast rock bursts more effectively,a new rock burst forecasting index E,consisting of intensity and the number of pulses,is proposed,on the basis of abnormal characteristic symptoms of electromagnetic radiation(EMR) generated before rock bursts,combined with statistical theory.The index is distributed as a χ2 distribution with 2 degrees of freedom,i.e.,E~χ 2(2).Via this index,a quantitative comprehensive forecasting criterion of EMR was initially established.E values were calculated when the occurrence probability of the occurrence of a rock burst was 50%,70% and 90%.Appropriate measures should be taken when using these values on the scene.Using EMR data collected in the Nanshan Mine of the Hegang mining area,we verified that the analytical result were consistent with actual situations.This index is of theoretical importance and as a reference for forecasting rock bursts in coal mines. | SONG Dazhao,WANG Enyuan,WANG Chao,XU Fule School of Safety Engineering,China University of Mining & Technology,Xuzhou 221008,China | 2010 | Mining Science and Technology2010,20,5: | 7 |

| 3 | Massage treatment of chronic persistent pediatric asthma显示文摘Objective:We observed the clinical effect of massage in treating chronic persistent pediatric asthma and the changes in expression of TLR1,TLR2,and TLR4 on macrophages.Methods:One hundred sixty pediatric patients with persistent chronic asthma were col-lected,and divided into treatment and control groups of 80 each in strict accordance with the principle of random allocation.The patients in the control group received general nebulizer therapy,and the patients in the treatment group received infantile massage.Both groups of patients were observed for 3 months with respect to the following indicators:the frequency of asthmatic attacks;the frequency of respiratory tract infections(RTIs);C-ACT rating;and the PEF%of peripheral blood(PB)before and after treatment to detect macrophage TLR1,TLR2,and TLR4.Results:After treatment,the frequency of asthmatic attacks,frequency of RTIs,C-ACT rat-ing,and the PEF%and macrophage TLR1,TLR2,and TLR4 expression of fluorescence intensity in the treatment group showed a statistically significant increase when compared with the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Pediatric massage can improve the clinical symptoms of pediatric asthma by up-regulating the expression of macrophage TLR1,TLR2,and TLR4. | Fuling Tian Qi Li Jianmei Cui Shuxiang Ma Hongbin Wang Xueqing Li | 2014 | Family Medicine and Community Health2014,2,2: | 2 |

| 7 | In situ construction of Co/N/C-based heterojunction on biomass-derived hierarchical porous carbon with stable active sites using a Co-N protective strategy for high-efficiency ORR,OER and HER trifunctional electrocatalysts显示文摘The facile designs and fabrication of noble metal-free electrocatalysts are highly required to achieve multifunctional catalytic activity with excellent stability in Zn-air batteries,fuel cells and water splitting systems.Herein,a heterostructure engineering is applied to construct the high performance Co,Ncontaining carbon-based multifunctional electrocatalysts with the feature of isotype(i.e.n-n type Co_(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC)and anisotype(i.e.p-n type Co_(2)O_(3)-BHPC)heterojunctions for ORR,OER and HER.The nn type Co_(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC,in which biomass(e.g.mushroom)-derived hierarchical porous carbon(BHPC)incorporated with nonstoichiometric active species Co_(2)N_(0.67),is fabricated by using an in situ protective strategy of macrocyclic central Co-N_(4) from CoTPP(5,10,15,20-tetrakis(phenyl)porphyrinato cobalt)precursor through the intermolecularπ-πinteractions between CoTPP and its metal-free analogue H_(2) TPP.Meanwhile,an unprotected strategy of macrocyclic central Co-N_(4) from CoTPP can afford the anisotype Co_(2)O_(3)-BHPC p-n heterojunction.The as-prepared n-n type Co_(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC heterojunction exhibited a higher density of Co-based active sites with outstanding stability and more efficient charge transfer at the isotype heterojunction interface in comparison with p-n type Co_(2)O_(3)-BHPC heterojunction.Consequently,for ORR,Co_(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC exhibits the more positive onset and half-wave potentials of 0.93 and 0.86 V vs.RHE,respectively,superior to those of the commercial 20 wt%Pt/C and most of Cobased catalysts reported so far.To drive a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2),Co_(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC also shows the lower overpotentials of 0.34 and 0.21 V vs.RHE for OER and HER,respectively.Furthermore,the Zn-air battery equipped with Co_(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC displays higher maximum power density(109 mW cm^(-2))and charge-discharge cycle stability.Interestingly,the anisotype heterojunction Co_(2)O_(3)-BHPC as trifunctional electrocatalyst reveals evidently photoelectrochemical enhancement compared with the photostable Co_(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC.That is to say,isotype heterojunction material(n-n type Co^(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC)is equipped with better electrocatalytic performance than anisotype one(p-n type Co_(2)O_(3)-BHPC),but the opposite is true in photoelectrochemical catalysis.Meanwhile,the possible mechanism is proposed based on the energy band structures of the Co_(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC and Co_(2)O_(3)-BHPC and the cocatalyst effects.The present work provides much more possibilities to tune the electrocatalytic and photoelectrochemical properties of catalysts through a facile combination of heterostructure engineering protocol and macrocyclic central metal protective strategy. | Xuehui Lv Zuoxu Xiao Haoyuan Wang Xinlong Wang Lulu Shan Fuling Wang Chuangyu Wei Xiangjie Tang Yanli Chen | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3: | 1 |

| 15 | Personnel protection strategy for healthcare workers in Wuhan during the COVID-19 epidemic显示文摘Objective:To identify the effectiveness of a personnel protection strategy in protection of healthcare workers from SARS-CoV-2 infection.Design:During the COVID-19 pandemic,943 healthcare staff sent from Guangzhou to Wuhan to care for patients with suspected/confirmed COVID-19 received infection precaution training before their mission and were equipped with Level 2/3 personal protective equipment(PPE),in accordance with guidelines from the National Health Commission of China.We conducted a serological survey on the cumulative attack rate of SARS-CoV-2 among the healthcare workers sent to Wuhan and compared the seropositive rate to that in local healthcare workers from Wuhan and Jingzhou.Results:Serial tests for SARS-CoV-2 RNA and tests for SARS-CoV-2 immunoglobulin M and G after the 6-8 week mission revealed a zero cumulative attack rate.Among the local healthcare workers inWuhan and Jingzhou of Hubei Province,2.5%(113 out of 4495)and 0.32%(10 out of 3091)had RT-PCR confirmed COVID-19,respectively.The seropositivity for SARS-CoV-2 antibodies(IgG,IgM,or both IgG/IgM positive)was 3.4%(53 out of 1571)in local healthcare workers from Wuhan with Level 2/3 PPE working in isolation areas and 5.4%(126 out of 2336)in healthcare staff with Level 1 PPE working in non-isolation medical areas,respectively.Conclusions and relevance:Our study confirmed that adequate training/PPE can protect medical personnel against SARS-CoV-2. | Fan Fan Hou Fuling Zhou Xin Xu Daowen Wang Gang Xu Tao Jiang Sheng Nie XiaoyanWu Chanjun Ren Guangyu Wang Johnson Yiu-Nam Lau Xinghuan Wang Kang Zhang | 2020 | Precision Clinical Medicine2020,3,3: | 0 |
| 16 | Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector.Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements,such as its low-energy threshold,high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors,and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors.In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable,assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition,approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected.This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter,which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle.Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better,depending on the central value,and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. | 17 | Tracing surface seawater mixing and nutrient transport by^(222)Rn on the northern coast of Beibu Gulf,China显示文摘The transport and diffusion of substances in seawater are limited by the mixing motion of water bodies,while the main forms of mixing in offshore water bodies are advection and eddy diffusion.The eddy diffusion process of water indicates the possible transport direction of dissolved substances.However,the complex environment in the coastal zone makes it difficult to quantitatively assess the water diffusion process.^(222)Rn is a useful tool to trace the diffusion process of water bodies.However,studies on the^(222)Rn distribution and its behavior in the Beibu Gulf are scarce.In this study,the activity distribution characteristics of^(222)Rn in surface seawater of the Guangxi shelf area of the Beibu Gulf were measured.Based on the one-dimensional,steady-state model,the vorticity diffusion coefficient of^(222)Rn in the horizontal direction was calculated as(0.42−2.13)×10^(8) m^(2)/d,and the offshore fluxes of^(222)Rn under the influence of water mixing were calculated as 2.00×10^(12) Bq/d.Correspondingly,the horizontal transport fluxes of silicate,phosphate,nitrite and nitrate were 6.28×10^(−3)mol/(m^(2)·d),0.10×10^(−3)mol/(m^(2)·d),0.20×10^(−3)mol/(m^(2)·d)and 4.15×10^(−3)mol/(m^(2)·d),respectively.These results indicate that the study of eddy current diffusion in offshore marine water facilitates a deeper understanding of the water mixing process and nutrient transport and migration. | Hao Wang Qiangqiang Zhong Fule Zhang Suiyuan Chen Hongyan Bao Jing Lin Dekun Huang Tao Yu | 2023 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2023,42,8: | 0 |
| 18 | Effect of Qingkailing injection on rat embryonic neuronal apoptosis and mitochondrial membrane potential显示文摘BACKGROUND: The decrease of mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) is an irreversible marker of neuronal apoptosis during ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury of brain tissue. Qingkailing injection is proved to have protective effect on neuronal ischemic injury. Whether inhibiting the decrease of MMP can inhibit apoptosis when I/R injury of brain tissue occurs is unclear. OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of Qingkailing injection on rat embryonic hippocampal neuronal apoptosis, MMP and mitochondrial activity after hypoxia/hypoglycemia and reoxygenation, and make a comparison of therapeutic effect on I/R injury between Qingkailing injection and nimodipine. DESIGN: Observation and controlled trial. SETTING: Peripheral Vascular Center, Dongzhimen Hospital, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine; the Key Laboratory of Chinese Internal Medicine of Ministry of Education and Beijing Key Laboratory, Dongzhimen Hospital, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. MATERIALS: Eight Wistar rats at embryonic 18 days, provided by Breeding Farm of Experimental Animals, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (Permission No. SCXK-11-00-0006) were employed in this trial. Qingkailing injection (Pharmaceutical Factory of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Batch No. 213710A, 10 mL each, baicalin 50 g and total nitrogen 25 mg included) and nimodipine (ICN company, USA) were also used. METHODS: This experiment was carried out in the Key Laboratory of Chinese Internal Medicine of Ministry of Education, Dongzhimen Hospital, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Beijing Key Laboratory from January 2003 to December 2005. ①The pregnant rats were anesthetized and fetal rats were isolated for culturing fetal rat hippocampal neurons. The neurons cultured for 10 days were used for experiment. The neurons were divided into 5 groups: model group, control group, nimodipine group, Qingkailing high-dose group and Qingkailing low-dose group. Hypoxia/hypoglycemia and reoxygenation models served as model group, and they were used to simulate reperfusion injury, i.e. glucose-free Earle’s solution was used to replace DMEM medium containing serum, then neurons were placed in the hypoxic container, afterwards, which was filled with 0.95 volume fraction of N2 and 0.05 volume fraction of CO2. Oxygen volume in the container was less than 0.01 volume fraction. The container was placed at 37 ℃ for 5 hours. Hypoxia/hypoglycemia treatment was not given to the control group. 10 μmol/L nimodipine was added to the medium in the nimodipine group when hypoxia/ hypoglycemia occurred. Final concentration of 15 and 30 mL/L Qingkailing injection was added to the Qingkailing low-dose group and Qingkailing high-dose group respectively 12 hours before experiment, and the other procedures were the same as model group. ②Morphological changes were observed under a fluorescence microscope immediately after cell culture. Neurons were collected at the 3rd, 12th and 24th hours after culture in each group. Mitochondrial activity was detected by MTT assay, neuronal apoptosis rate and MMP were detected with flow cytometry , and necrotic neurons were observed under a fluorescence microscope and necrosis rate was calculated. ③ Analysis of variance was used for comparison of difference of measurement data. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Comparison of neuronal mitochondrial activity, apoptosis rate, morphological change, necrosis rate and MMP. RESULTS: ① Mitochondrial activity (absorbance, A) at hypoxia/hypoglycemia 5 hours and reoxygenation 3,12 and 24 hours: Mitochondrial activity was respectively(0.513±0.063),(0.507±0.042) and(0.499±0.075) in the Qingkailing high-dose group and (0.464±0.088),(0.415±0.047) and(0.392±0.063) in the Qingkailing low-dose group , which was significantly higher than that in the model group , respectively [(0.328±0.117),(0.276±0.033),(0.203±0.051),P < 0.05-0.01]. Mitochondrial activity in the nimodipine group(0.539±0.026,0.527±0.052,0.513±0.038) was higher than that in the model group (P < 0.05) ,and mitochondrial activity was close between Qingkailing groups and nimodipine group (P > 0.05). ② Neuronal apoptosis rate at hypoxia/hypoglycemia 5 hours and reoxygenation 3,12 and 24 hours: neuronal apoptosis rate was (11.61±2.55)%,(17.99±3.71)%,(21.22±8.90)% in the Qingkailing high-does group and (14.72±3.36)%,(27.79±5.97)%,(23.01±5.14)% in the Qingkailing low-dose group, which was significantly lower than that in the model group [(19.06±5.01)%,(45.73±11.57)%,(49.85±10.19)%,P < 0.05-0.01]. Neuronal apoptosis rate in the nimodipine group [(8.05±2.64)%,(13.90±4.88)%,(16.24±4.19)%] was lower than that in the model group(P < 0.05). Neuronal apoptosis was close between Qingkailing groups and nimodipine group (P > 0.05). ③ Neuronal morphological detection at hypoxia/hypoglycemia 5 hours and reoxygenation: Considerable apoptotic cells and a few necrotic cells appeared. Apoptotic and necrotic cells were increased with the elongation of time of reoxygenation, but significantly reduced after adding Qingkailing injection and nimodipine. ④ Detection of apoptosis rate at hypoxia/hypoglycemia 5 hours and reoxygenation 3,12 and 24 hours: neuronal apoptosis rate was (3.77±0.49)%,(2.94±0.43)%,(5.02±0.86)% in the Qingkailing high-dose group and (4.36±0.41)%,(4.72±0.59)%,(6.51±0.79)% in the Qingkailing low-dose group, which was significantly lower than that in the model group [(6.83±1.53)%,(7.57±1.33)%,(11.49±1.50)%,P < 0.05-0.01]. Neuronal apoptosis rate in the nimodipine group was (2.44±0.61)%,(2.97±0.46)%,(4.35±0.53)%,which was lower than that in the model group (P < 0.05). Neuronal apoptosis rate was close between Qingkailing groups and nimodipine group (P > 0.05). ⑤Detection of MPP at hypoxia/hypoglycemia 5 hours and reoxygenation 3,12 and 24 hours: MPP was (88.17±6.16),(73.14±7.68),(69.59±6.03)in the Qingkailing high-dose group and (79.68±6.07),(66.95±8.11),(64.83±5.01)in the Qingkailing low-dose group, which was significantly higher than that of model group [(41.91±9.64),(29.12±5.11),(20.41±6.54),P < 0.05-0.01]. MPP in the nimodipine group was 95.26±9.32,87.41±8.83,81.22±8.02, which was higher than that in the model group (P < 0.05). MPP was close between Qingkailing groups and nimodipine group (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: Qingkailing injection can inhibit hypoxia/hypoglycemia and reoxygenation-induced decrease of MPP and mitochondrial activity. It can also inhibit apoptosis, and has protective effect on hippocampal neurons. | 20 | A low-power DC offset calibration method independent of IF gain for zero-IF receiver显示文摘A novel low-power DC offset calibration(DCOC) method independent of intermediate frequency(IF) gain for zero-IF receiver applications has been reported. The conventional analog DCOC method consumes greater power and affects the performance of the receiver. The conventional mixed-signal method requires enhanced memory to store the calibration results at different receiver gains as the DC offset is relative to the radio frequency(RF) and IF gain. A novel algorithm is presented to make the DCOC process independent of IF gain, which significantly reduces the memory area. With the proposed circuit, the receiver calibrates only once so settle-time and power consumption of the IF circuit is lowered.
