1Electromagnetic radiation early warning criterion of rock burst based on statistical theory显示文摘Rock bursts are serious natural disasters encountered worldwide in coal mining and rock engineering.In order to forecast rock bursts more effectively,a new rock burst forecasting index E,consisting of intensity and the number of pulses,is proposed,on the basis of abnormal characteristic symptoms of electromagnetic radiation(EMR) generated before rock bursts,combined with statistical theory.The index is distributed as a χ2 distribution with 2 degrees of freedom,i.e.,E~χ 2(2).Via this index,a quantitative comprehensive forecasting criterion of EMR was initially established.E values were calculated when the occurrence probability of the occurrence of a rock burst was 50%,70% and 90%.Appropriate measures should be taken when using these values on the scene.Using EMR data collected in the Nanshan Mine of the Hegang mining area,we verified that the analytical result were consistent with actual situations.This index is of theoretical importance and as a reference for forecasting rock bursts in coal mines.SONG Dazhao,WANG Enyuan,WANG Chao,XU Fule School of Safety Engineering,China University of Mining & Technology,Xuzhou 221008,China 2010Mining Science and Technology2010,20,5:7
2An 85mW 14-bit 150MS/s Pipelined ADC with a Merged First and Second MDAC显示文摘A low-power 14-bit 150MS/s analog-to-digital converter(ADC) is presented for communication applications.Range scaling enables a maximal 2-Vp-p input with a single-stage opamp adopted.Opamp and capacitor sharing between the first multiplying digital-to-analog converter(MDAC)and the second one reduces the total opamp power further.The dedicated sample-andhold amplifier(SHA) is removed to lower the power and the noise.The blind calibration of linearity errors is proposed to improve the performance.The prototype ADC is fabricated in a 130 nm CMOS process with a 1.3-V supply voltage.The SNDR of the ADC is 71.3 dB with a 2.4 MHz input and remains 68.5 dB for a 120 MHz input.It consumes 85 mW,which includes 57 mW for the ADC core,11 mW for the low jitter clock receiver and 17 mW for the high-speed reference buffer.LI Weitao LI Fule YANG Changyi LI Shengjing WANG Zhihua 2015China Communications2015,12,5:6
3Development and evaluation of lafutidine solid dispersion via hot melt extrusion:Investigating drug-polymer miscibility with advanced characterisation显示文摘In current study,immediate release solid dispersion(SD)formulation of antiulcer drug lafutidine(LAFT)was developed using hot melt extrusion(HME)technique.Amphiphilic Soluplusused as a primary solubilizing agent,with different concentrations of selected surfactants like PEG 400,Lutrol F127(LF127),Lutrol F68(LF68)were used to investigate their influence on formulations processing via HME.Prepared amorphous glassy solid dispersion was found to be thermodynamically and physicochemically stable.On the contrary,traces of crystalline LAFT not observed in the extrudates according to differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and Raman spectroscopy.Raman micro spectrometry had the lowest detection limit of LAFT crystals compared with XRD and DSC.Atomic Force microscopy(AFM)studies revealed drugpolymer molecular miscibility and surface interaction at micro level.1HeCOSY NMR spectroscopy confirmed miscibility and interaction between LAFT and Soluplus,with chemical shift drifting and line broadening.MD simulation studies using computational modelling showed intermolecular interaction between molecules.Dissolution rate and solubility of LAFT was enhanced remarkably in developed SD systems.Optimized ratio of polymer and surfactants played crucial role in dissolution rate enhancement of LAFT SD.The obtained results suggested that developed LAFT has promising potential for oral delivery and might be an efficacious approach for enhancing the therapeutic potential of LAFT.Ritesh Fule Purnima Amin 2014Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2014,9,2:4
4Resonance Rayleigh scattering study of the interaction of bleomycinA_5 with nucleic acids and its analytical application显示文摘The interaction of bleomycinA5 with nucleic acids has been investigated by using resonance Rayleigh scattering (RRS), molecular absorption and fluorescence spectra. The result shows that in near pH 2.2 buffer medium and absence of any metal ions, nucleic acids are capable of binding with bleomycinA5 (BLMA5) to form complexes which can remarkably enhance the RRS intensity and result in batho- chromic and hyperchromic molecular absorption of nucleic acids and fluorescence quenching of bleomycinA5. The RRS spectral characteristics for the binding products of bleomycinA5 with various DNA and RNA are similar, and the maximum RRS peaks are at 301 nm for ctDNA and sDNA, 370 nm for hsDNA, 310 nm for RNAtypeVI and RNAtypeIII, respectively. The increments of RRS intensity are greatly different in which DNA enhances greatly and RNA enhances lightly. In this work, the optimum condi- tions of the interaction and some influencing factors have been investigated. The reaction mechanism and a binding model for the interaction of BLMA5 with the nucleic acids are discussed. In addition, a highly sensitive, simple and rapid new method for the determination of DNA has been developed. The detection limits (3σ) are 5.7 ng/mL for ctDNA, 7.4 ng/mL for sDNA and 9.2 ng/mL for hsDNA, respectively. 5A Predictive GIS Model for Potential Mapping of Copper, Lead, and Zinc in Langping Area, China显示文摘Mineral resource potential mapping is a complex analytical process,which requires the consideration and the inte-gration of a number of spatial evidences like geological,geomorphological,and wall rock alteration.The aim of this paper is to establish mineral exploration model for copper,lead,and zinc in Lanping basin area using the capability of analytical tools of Geographic Information System(GIS) and remote sensing data to generate maps showing favorable mineralized area.The geo-exploration dataset used for the research includes copper,lead,and zinc deposits,geological maps,topographic maps,structural maps,and ETM+ imagery.Geological features indicative of potential copper,lead,and zinc were extracted from the datasets input in the predictive model.The method of weights of evidence modeling is a probability-based technique for generating mineral potential maps using the spatial distribution of indicative features with respect to the known mineral occur-rences.The method of weights of evidence probabilistic modeling provides a quantitative method for delineating areas with potential of copper,lead,and zinc mineral deposits in the Lanping Basin area.weights(W+,W-) and contrast(C=(W+) -(W-) ) calculations guide the data-driven modeling.The four most important spatial features for exploration guide for copper,lead,and zinc mineralization hosted in the Lanping Basin area are alteration zones,faults,host rocks,and lineaments.The host rocks and deep faults have the strongest spatial association with the known copper,lead,and zinc deposits.The hydrothermal alteration zones have the moderate spatial association with the copper,lead,and zinc deposits.The predicted high-favorability zones do not show the strong affinity with lineaments.The distribution of 22(copper,lead,and zinc) occur-rences in the Lanping Basin was examined in terms of spatial association with various geological phenomena.The analysis of these relationships using GIS and weights of evidence modeling has predicted areas of high and moderate mineral potential,where a little or no mining activities exist.Tarik. 7Influence of Ginkgo Biloba extract on beta-secretase in rat hippocampal neuronal cultures following chronic hypoxic and hypoglycemic conditions显示文摘BACKGROUND: Preparation of Ginkgo leaf has been widely used to improve cognitive deficits and dementia, in particular in Alzheimer's disease patients. However, the precise mechanism of action of Ginkgo leaf remains unclear. OBJECTIVE: To explore the effect of Ginkgo Biloba extract (Egb761), Ginaton, on β-secretase expression in rat hippocampal neuronal cultures following chronic hypoxic and hypoglycemic conditions. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTNG: Completely by randomized, grouping study. The experiment was performed at the Laboratory of Molecular Imaging, Southeast University between August 2006 and August 2007. MATERIALS: A total of 128 Wistar rats aged 24 hours were selected, and hippocampal neurons were harvested for primary cultures. METHODS: On day 7, primary hippocampal neuronal cultures were treated with Egb761 (0, 25, 50, 100, 150, and 200 μg/mL) under hypoxic/hypoglycemic or hypoglycemic culture conditions for 12, 24, and 36 hours, respectively. Hippocampal neurons cultured in primary culture medium served as control. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Cell viability was assayed using 3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT); fluorescence detection of β-secretase activity was performed; Western Blot was used to measure β-secretase expression. RESULTS: Cell viability under hypoxic/hypoglycemic or hypoglycemic culture conditions was significantly less than control cells (P < 0.05). Under hypoxic/hypoglycemic or hypoglycemic culture conditions, treatment with 25 μg/mL Egb761 did not alter cell viability. However, > 25 μg/mL Egb761 induced greater cell viability (P < 0.05). No differences were observed between hypoxic/hypoglycemic or hypoglycemic cells (P > 0.05). α-secretase activity was increased after 12 hours in hypoxic/hypoglycemic culture (P < 0.01). There were no significant differences between the 12-, 24-, or 36-hour Egb761 groups and the hypoxic/hypoglycemic groups (P > 0.05). β-secretase activity was greater after 12, 24, and 36 hours in hypoxic/hypoglycemic culture conditions, compared with control conditions (P < 0.05). β-secretase activity was significantly decreased in neurons treated with Egb761 for 12, 24, or 36 hours, compared with the hypoxic/hypoglycemic group (P < 0.05). β-secretase protein expression was significantly up-regulated in neurons cultured in hypoxic/hypoglycemic conditions for 12, 24, or 36 hours, compared to control cells (P < 0.05), and was decreased compared to neurons treated with Egb761 (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: β-secretase expression and activity in rat neonatal hippocampal neurons were influenced by hypoxic and hypoglycemic culture. The upper and lower crack faces are assumed to be loaded antisymmetrically by a couple of tangential point forces in opposite directions. 10Numerical Approximation and Error Analysis for the Timoshenko Beam Equations with Boundary Feedback显示文摘In this paper,the numerical approximation of a Timoshenko beam with bound- ary feedback is considered.We derived a linearized three-level difference scheme on uniform meshes by the method of reduction of order for a Timoshenko beam with boundary feedback.It is proved that the scheme is uniquely solvable,unconditionally stable and second order convergent in L_∞norm by using the discrete energy method. 11Massage treatment of chronic persistent pediatric asthma显示文摘Objective:We observed the clinical effect of massage in treating chronic persistent pediatric asthma and the changes in expression of TLR1,TLR2,and TLR4 on macrophages.Methods:One hundred sixty pediatric patients with persistent chronic asthma were col-lected,and divided into treatment and control groups of 80 each in strict accordance with the principle of random allocation.The patients in the control group received general nebulizer therapy,and the patients in the treatment group received infantile massage.Both groups of patients were observed for 3 months with respect to the following indicators:the frequency of asthmatic attacks;the frequency of respiratory tract infections(RTIs);C-ACT rating;and the PEF%of peripheral blood(PB)before and after treatment to detect macrophage TLR1,TLR2,and TLR4.Results:After treatment,the frequency of asthmatic attacks,frequency of RTIs,C-ACT rat-ing,and the PEF%and macrophage TLR1,TLR2,and TLR4 expression of fluorescence intensity in the treatment group showed a statistically significant increase when compared with the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Pediatric massage can improve the clinical symptoms of pediatric asthma by up-regulating the expression of macrophage TLR1,TLR2,and TLR4.Fuling Tian Qi Li Jianmei Cui Shuxiang Ma Hongbin Wang Xueqing Li 2014Family Medicine and Community Health2014,2,2:2
