2Cooperative adaptive bidirectional control of a train platoon for efficient utility and string stability显示文摘This paper proposes cooperative adaptive control schemes for a train platoon to improve efficient utility and guarantee string stability. The control schemes are developed based on a bidirectional strategy, i.e., the information of proximal(preceding and following) trains is used in the controller design. Based on available proximal information(prox-info) of location, speed, and acceleration, a direct adaptive control is designed to maintain the tracking interval at the minimum safe distance. Based on available prox-info of location, an observer-based adaptive control is designed to achieve the same target, which alleviates the requirements of equipped sensors to measure prox-info of speed and acceleration. The developed schemes are capable of on-line estimating of the unknown system parameters and stabilizing the closed-loop system, the string stability of train platoon is guaranteed on the basis of Lyapunov stability theorem. 3Clinical disease registries in acute myocardial infarction显示文摘Disease registries,containing systematic records of cases,have for nearly 100 years been valuable in exploring and understanding various aspects of cardiology. This is particularly true for myocardial infarction,where such registries have provided both epidemiological and clinical information that was not readily available from randomised controlled trials in highlyselected populations. Registries,whether mandated or voluntary,prospective or retrospective in their analysis,have at their core a common study population and common data definitions. 7Rail fastener detection of heavy railway based on deep learning显示文摘Image detection based on machine learning and deep learning currently has a good application prospect for railway fault diagnosis,with good performance in feature extraction and the accuracy of image localization and good classification results.To improve the speed of locating small target objects of fasteners,the YOLOv5 framework model with faster algorithm speed is selected.To improve the classification accuracy of fasteners,YOLOv5-based heavy-duty railway rail fastener detection is proposed.The anchor size is modified on the original basis to improve the attention to small targets of fasteners.The CBAM(Convolutional Block Attention Module)module and TPH(Transformer Prediction Head)module are introduced to improve the speed and accuracy issues.The rail fasteners are divided into 6 categories.Experiment comparisons show that before the improvement,the MAP@0.5 value of all categories are close to the peak of 0.989 after the epoch of 150,and the F1 score approaches 1 with confidence in the interval(0.2,0.95).The improved mAP@0.5 value approached the highest value of 0.991 after the epoch of 75,and the F1 score approached 1 with confidence in the interval(0.01,0.95).The experiment results indicate that the improved YOLOv5 model proposed in this paper is more suitable for the task of detecting rail fasteners.Yuan Cao Zihao Chen Tao Wen Clive Roberts Yongkui Sun Shuai Su 2023High-Speed Railway2023,1,1:1

19Concept development and testing of the UK’s first hydrogenhybrid train(HydroFLEX)显示文摘In October 2018,Porterbrook and the University of Birmingham announced the HydroFLEX project,to demonstrate a hydrogen-hybrid modified train atRail Live 2019.The concept of modifying a Class 319 Electric Multiple Unit was developed,with equipment including a fuel cell stack,traction battery,24 V control system and hydrogen storage elements to be mounted inside one of the carriages.This was followed by procurement of a fuel cell stack,traction batteries,and control equipment,which was then installed inside the train,being fixed to the seat rails.One substantial change from the concept was the provision of considerably more hydrogen storage than the minimum necessary,providing the train with more potential to be further modified to allow for higher speed mainline testing.After the Rail Live exhibition where HydroFLEX was demonstrated,numerous modifications were performed to increase the reliability and power of the HydroFLEX train,primarily concerned with modifying the base train logic,with the aim of a successfulmainline test.Supporting this effort was a multitude of documentation concerning safety,operations,and approvals to gain approvals from the relevant approvals bodies.The project demonstrated the feasibility of using hydrogen fuel cells as an autonomous fuel for railway propulsion systems,which has the potential for full decarbonisation.Charles Calvert Jeff Allan Peter Amor Stuart Hillmansen Clive Roberts Paul Weston 2021Railway Engineering Science2021,29,3:1
