1A rapid advice guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of 2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV) infected pneumonia(standard version)显示文摘In December 2019, a new type viral pneumonia cases occurred in Wuhan, Hubei Province;and then named '2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV)' by the World Health Organization(WHO) on 12 January 2020. For it is a never been experienced respiratory disease before and with infection ability widely and quickly, it attracted the world’s attention but without treatment and control manual. For the request from frontline clinicians and public health professionals of 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia management, an evidence-based guideline urgently needs to be developed. Therefore, we drafted this guideline according to the rapid advice guidelines methodology and general rules of WHO guideline development;we also added the first-hand management data of Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University. This guideline includes the guideline methodology, epidemiological characteristics, disease screening and population prevention, diagnosis, treatment and control(including traditional Chinese Medicine), nosocomial infection prevention and control, and disease nursing of the 2019-nCoV. Moreover, we also provide a whole process of a successful treatment case of the severe 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia and experience and lessons of hospital rescue for 2019-nCoV infections. 5Spatiotemporal variations of PM_(2.5) and PM_(10) concentrations between31 Chinese cities and their relationships with SO_2,NO_2,CO and O_3显示文摘The variations of mass concentrations of PM_(2.5),PM_(10),SO_2,NO_2,CO,and O_3 in 31 Chinese provincial capital cities were analyzed based on data from 286 monitoring sites obtained between March 22,2013 and March 31,2014.By comparing the pollutant concentrations over this length of time,the characteristics of the monthly variations of mass concentrations of air pollutants were determined.We used the Pearson correlation coefficient to establish the relationship between PM_(2.5),PM_(10),and the gas pollutants.The results revealed significant differences in the concentration levels of air pollutants and in the variations between the different cities.The Pearson correlation coefficients between PMs and NO_2 and SO_2 were either high or moderate(PM_(2.5) with NO_2:r=0.256-0.688,mean r=0.498;PM_(10) with NO_2:r = 0.169-0.713,mean r = 0.493;PM2.5 with SO_2:r= 0.232-0.693,mean r=0.449;PM_(10) with SO_2:r = 0.131-0.669,mean r=0.403).The correlation between PMs and CO was diverse(PM_(2.5):r = 0.156-0.721,mean r=0.437;PM_(10):r=0.06-0.67,mean r= 0.380).The correlation between PMs and O_3 was either weak or uncorrelated(PM_(2.5):r--0.35 to 0.089,mean r=-0.164;PM_(10):r=-0.279 to 0.078,mean r=-0.127),except in Haikou(PM2.5:r=0.500;PM_(10):r-0.509).Yangyang Xie Bin Zhao Lin Zhang Rong Luo 2015Particuology2015,13,3:56
6Effects of rh BNP after PCI on non-invasive hemodynamic in acute myocardial infarction patients with left heart failure显示文摘Objective: To investigate the effects of exogenous recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide(rh BNP) after primary percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) on non-invasive hemodynamic in acute myocardial infarction patients with left ventricular failure. Methods: A number of 96 acute myocardial infarction patients accompanied with heart failure after PCI hospitalized in the People's Hospital of Sanya during February 2012 to October 2015 were selected. They were randomly divided into the therapy group(n = 50) and control group(n = 46). On the basis of routine treatment, patients in the therapy group were treated with intravenous rh BNP(1.5 μg/kg was intravenous injection with uniform speed of 3 min, followed by continuous infusion 0.007 5 μg/kg·min for 72 h), while the control group received conventional treatment. Bio Z-2011 non-invasive hemodynamic real-time monitoring system was used to monitor the hemodynamic parameters changes and the leves of plasma pro-BNP, serum creatinine, serum potassium, serum sodium and urine volume of each group before and after treating for 30 min, 1 h, 3 h, 6 h, 12 h, 24 h, 48 h, 72 h. Results: Patients in the therapy group showed no effect on heart rate, while after 30 min of intravenous injection of rh BNP, CO, CI, SV, and SI increased significantly and LVET and TFC reduced at the same time, which had certain effect on blood pressure(SBP/DBP). Compared with the control group, the therapy group showed a faster and more effective improvement on haemodynamics. 7Efficacy and safety of bevacizumab plus chemotherapy in Chinese patients with metastatic colorectal cancer:a randomized phase Ⅲ ARTIST trial显示文摘The efficacy and safety of bevacizumab with modified irinotecan,leucovorin bolus,and 5-fluorouracil intravenous infusion(mIFL) in the first-line treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC) has not been well evaluated in randomized clinical trials in Chinese patients.We conducted a phrase Ⅲ trial in which patients with previously untreated mCRC were randomized 2:1 to the mIFL [irinotecan(125 mg/m2),leucovorin(20 mg/m2) bolus,and 5-fluorouracil intravenous infusion(500 mg/m2) weekly for four weeks every six weeks] plus bevacizumab(5 mg/kg every two weeks) group and the mIFL group,respectively.Co-primary objectives were progression-free survival(PFS) and 6-month PFS rate.In total,214 patients were enrolled.Our results showed that addition of bevacizumab to mIFL significantly improved median PFS(4.2 months in the mIFL group vs.8.3 months in the bevacizumab plus mIFL group,P < 0.001),6-month PFS rate(25.0% vs.62.6%,P < 0.001),median overall survival(13.4 months vs.18.7 months,P = 0.014),and response rate(17% vs.35%,P = 0.013).Grades 3 and 4 adverse events included diarrhea(21% in the mIFL group and 26% in the bevacizumab plus mIFL group) and neutropenia(19% in the mIFL group and 33% in the bevacizumab plus mIFL group).No wound-healing complications or congestive heart failure occurred.Our results suggested that bevacizumab plus mIFL is effective and well tolerated as first-line treatment for Chinese patients with mCRC.Clinical benefit and safety profiles were consistent with those observed in pivotal phase Ⅲ trials with mainly Caucasian patients.Zhong-Zhen Guan Jian-Ming Xu Rong-Cheng Luo Feng-Yi Feng Li-Wei Wang Lin Shen Shi-Ying Yu Yi Ba Jun Liang Dong Wang Shu-Kui Qin Jie-Jun Wang Jing He Chuan Qi Rui-Hua Xu 2011Chinese Journal of Cancer2011,30,10:48

9Component analysis of Chinese medicine and advances in fuming-washing therapy for knee osteoarthritis via unsupervised data mining methods显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To analyze the component law of Chinese medicines in fuming-washing therapy for knee osteoarthritis(KOA), and develop new fuming-washing prescriptions for KOA through unsupervised data mining methods.METHODS: Chinese medicine recipes for fuming-washing therapy for KOA were collected and recorded in a database. The correlation coefficient among herbs, core combinations of herbs, andnew prescriptions were analyzed using modified mutual information, complex system entropy cluster, and unsupervised hierarchical clustering, respectively.RESULTS: Based on analysis of 345 Chinese medicine recipes for fuming-washing therapy, 68 herbs occurred frequently, 33 herb pairs occurred frequently, and 12 core combinations were found.Five new fuming-washing recipes for KOA were developed.CONCLUSION: Chinese medicines for fuming-washing therapy of KOA mainly consist of wind-dampness-dispelling and cold-dispersing herbs, blood-activating and stasis-resolving herbs,and wind-dampness-dispelling and heat-clearing herbs. The treatment of fuming-washing therapy for KOA also includes dispelling wind-dampness and dispersing cold, activating blood and resolving stasis, and dispelling wind-dampness and clearing heat. 12Cluster analysis for syndromes of real-world coronary heartdisease with angina pectoris显示文摘Syndromes of coronary heart disease with angina pectoris were analyzed to provide guidance forclinical practice and to improve accuracy of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) diagnoses and efficacy of TCMtreatment. A total of 860 cases with coronary heart disease with angina pectoris were selected from TCM ClinicalResearch Information Sharing System for TCM clinics and research. Syndromes were automatically extractedwith the cluster method and were analyzed to provide objective evidence for clinical studies. Final syndromeclassifications were recognized and confirmed by clinical experts. Popular syndromes included Qi and blooddeficiency, blood stasis and obstruction collaterals, liver depression and spleen deficiency, and Qi stagnation andblood stasis. Syndromes Qi and blood deficiency and blood stasis and obstruction collaterals accounted for 28.61%of total syndromes, whereas liver depression and spleen deficiency and Qi stagnation and blood stasis accountedfor 26.44%. 14A Rabbit Model of Hormone-induced Early Avascular Necrosis of the Femoral Head显示文摘Objective To establish an experimental model of early stage avascular necrosis of the femoral head(ANFH) caused by corticosteroid in adult rabbits and to observe the pathological changes with various imaging techniques.Methods ANFH was induced by a combination of hypersensitivity vasculitis caused by injection of horse serum and subsequent administration of a high dose of corticosteroid.The pathological changes were detected with digital radiography(DR),computed tomography(CT),magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),ink artery infusion angiography,hematoxylin-eosin staining,and immunohistochemistry.Results The imageological and pathological changes corresponded to the clinical characteristics of early stage ANFH.DR showed bilaterally increased bone density,an unclear epiphyseal line,and blurred texture of cancellous bone.CT showed spot-like low-density imaging of cancellous bone,thinner cortical bone,osteoporosis,and an unclear epiphyseal line.MRI showed bone marrow edema and spot-like high signals in T2-weighted imaging in cancellous bone.Ink artery infusion angiography showed fewer obstructed blood vessels in the femoral head.HE staining of pathological sections showed fewer trabeculae and thin bone,an increased proportion of empty osteocyte lacunae,decreased hematopoiesis,thrombosis,and fat cell hypertrophy.Immunohistochemistry showed attenuated expression of vascular endothelial growth factor in osteoblasts and chondrocytes,and on the inner membrane of blood vessels.Conclusion Experimental rabbit model of early stage ANFH caused by corticosteroid can be successfully established and provide the foundation for developing effective methods to treat early stage ANFH.QIAN WEN LI MA YAN-PING CHEN LIN YANG WEI LUO AND XIAO-NING WANG 2008Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2008,21,5:24

Soil microbes play major roles in soil nutrient cycling and were affected by intercropping plants. This experiment was carried out to evaluate the changing of rhizosphere microbial community composition, and the relationship between microbial community and soil enzymatic activities, soil nutrients in maize/peanut intercropping system under the following three treatments: maize(Zea mays L.) and peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.) were intercropped without any separation(NS), by half separation(HS) using a nylon net(50 μm) and complete separation(CS) by using a plastic sheet, respectively. The soil microbial communities were assessed by phospholipid fatty acid(PLFA). We found that soil available nutrients(available nitrogen(Avail N) and available phosphorus(Avail P)) and enzymatic activities(soil urase and phosphomonoesterase) in both crops were improved in NS and HS treatments as compared to CS. Both bacterial and fungal biomasses in both crops were increased in NS followed by HS. Furthermore, Gram-positive bacteria( G+) in maize soils were significant higher in NS and HS than CS, while the Gram-negative(G–) was significant higher in peanut soil. The ratio of normal saturated to monounsaturated PLFAs was significantly higher in rhizosphere of peanut under CS treatment than in any other treatments, which is an indicator of nutrient stress. Redundancy analysis and cluster analysis of PLFA showed rhizospheric microbial community of NS and HS of both plants tended to be consistent. The urase and Avail N were higher in NS and HS of both plants and positively correlated with bacteria, fungi(F) and total PLFAs, while negatively correlated with G+/G– and NS/MS. The findings suggest that belowground interactions in maize/peanut intercropping system play important roles in changing the soil microbial composition and the dominant microbial species, which was closely related with the improving of soil available nutrients(N and P) and enzymatic activities.LI Qi-song 2016Journal of Integrative Agriculture2016,15,1:24

17Immune response,stress resistance and bacterial challenge in juvenile rainbow trouts Oncorhynchus mykiss fed diets containing chitosan-oligosaccharides显示文摘Effects of dietary supplementation of chitosan-oligosaccharides(COS)on the growth performance,immune response,stress resistance,and disease resistance of juvenile rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss were studied.Four experimental diets containing 0,20,40,or 60 mg/kg COS(COS0,COS20,COS40,and COS60,respectively)were fed to juvenile rainbow trout(initial weight=5.2±0.3 g)for 8 weeks.By the end of the feeding trial,representative groups of fish from each dietary treatment were challenged with stressor(30 sec air exposure)and pathogen exposure(intraperitoneal injection with Aeromonas hydrophila).Results showed that supplementation of COS in diets did not affect production performance and body composition of rainbow trout.However,fish fed the COS40 diet demonstrated improved phagocytic activities,respiratory burst activities and decreased serum cortisol level.Additionally,survival following A.hydrophila challenge was significant higher among fish fed the COS-supplemented feeds,although there was no difference based on the level of supplementation.The present study suggests that COS can be used as an immuno-stimulant in rainbow trout feeds.Lin LUO Xuefeng CAI Chuan HE Min XUE Xiufeng WU Haining CAO 2009Current Zoology2009,55,6:22
18Electroacupuncture improves gut barrier dysfunction in prolonged hemorrhagic shock rats through vagus anti-inflammatory mechanism显示文摘AIM:To investigate whether electroacupuncture(EA)at Zusanli(ST36)prevents intestinal barrier and remote organ dysfunction following prolonged hemorrhagic shock through a vagus anti-inflammatory mechanism.METHODS:Sprague-Dawley rats were subjected to about 45%of total blood volume loss followed by delayed fluid replacement(DFR)with Ringer lactate 3h after hemorrhage.In a first study,rats were randomly divided into six groups:(1)EAN:EA at non-channel acupoints followed by DFR;(2)EA:EA at ST36 after hemorrhage followed by DFR;(3)VGX/EA:vagotomy(VGX)before EA at ST36 and DFR;(4)VGX/EAN:VGX before EAN and DFR;(5)α-bungarotoxin(α-BGT)/EA:intraperitoneal injection ofα-BGT before hemorrhage,followed by EA at ST36 and DFR;and(6)α-BGT/EAN group:α-BGT injection before hemorrhage followed by EAN and DFR.Survival and mean arterial pressure(MAP)were monitored over the next 12 h.In a second study,with the same grouping and treatment,cytokine levels in plasma and intestine,organ parameters,gut injury score,gut permeability to 4 kDa FITC-dextran,and expression and distribution of tight junction protein ZO-1 were evaluated.RESULTS:MAP was significantly lowered after blood loss;EA at ST36 improved the blood pressure at corresponding time points 3 and 12 h after hemorrhage.EA at ST36 reduced tumor necrosis factor-αand interleukin(IL)-6 levels in both plasma and intestine homogenates after blood loss and DFR,while vagotomy or intraperitoneal injection ofα-BGT before EA at ST36reversed its anti-inflammatory effects,and EA at ST36did not influence IL-10 levels in plasma and intestine.EA at ST36 alleviated the injury of intestinal villus,the gut injury score being significantly lower than that of EAN group(1.85±0.33 vs 3.78±0.59,P<0.05).EA at ST36 decreased intestinal permeability to FITCdextran compared with EAN group(856.95 ng/mL±90.65 ng/mL vs 2305.62 ng/mL±278.32 ng/mL,P<0.05).EA at ST36 significantly preserved ZO-1 protein expression and localization at 12 h after hemorrhage.However,EA at non-channel acupoints had no such effect,and abdominal vagotomy andα-BGT treatment could weaken or eliminate the effects of EA at ST36.Besides,EA at ST36 decreased blood aminotransferase,MB isoenzyme of creatine kinase and creatinine vs EAN group at corresponding time points.At the end of 12-h experiment,the survival rate of the EA group was significantly higher than that of the other groups.CONCLUSION:EA at ST36 attenuates the systemic inflammatory response,protects intestinal barrier integrity,improves organ function and survival rate after hemorrhagic shock via activating the cholinergic antiinflammatory mechanism.Ming-Hua Du Hong-Min Luo Sen Hu Yi Lv Zhi-Long Lin Li Ma 2013World Journal of Gastroenterology2013,19,36:21
