| 2 | Molecular Characterization of a Leaf Senescence-Related Transcription Factor BrWRKY75 of Chinese Flowering Cabbage显示文摘WRKY is a plant-specific transcription factor(TF) involved in the regulation of many biological processes; however, its role in leaf senescence of leafy vegetables remains unknown. In the present work, a WRKY TF, termed Br WRKY75 was isolated from Chinese flowering cabbage [Brassica rapa L. ssp. chinensis(L.) Mokino var. utilis Tsen et Lee]. Analysis of deduced amino acid sequence and the phylogenetic tree showed that Br WRKY75 has high homology with WRKY75 from Brassica oleracea and Arabidopsis thaliana, and belongs to the II c sub-group. Sub-cellular localization and transcriptional activity analysis revealed that Br WRKY75 is a nuclear protein with transcriptional repression activity, and was up-regulated during leaf senescence. Electrophoretic mobility shift assay confirmed that Br WRKY75 directly bound to the W-box(TTGAC) cis-element. | 3 | Energy dependence on modes of electric activities of neuron driven by different external mixed signals under electromagnetic induction显示文摘Energy supply and release play an important role in individual neuron and neural network. In this paper, the electrical activities and Hamilton energy of neuron are investigated when external mixed signals(i.e., the periodic stimulus current and the periodic electromagnetic field) are imposed on the neuron under the electromagnetic induction. As a result, the Hamilton energy is much dependent on the mode transition, the multiple electric activity modes and the numerical analysis of Hamilton energy are more complicated under various parameters. When the periodic high-low frequency electromagnetic radiation is imposed in neuron, it is found that the electrical activities are more complex, and the changing of energy is obvious. In addition, the response of electrical activity and Hamilton energy is much dependent on the changing of amplitude A, B when the external high-low frequency signal is imposed on the neuron, meanwhile, the energy of bursting state is lower than the one of spiking state. | 7 | Reduced macular inner retinal thickness and microvascular density in the early stage of patients with dysthyroid optic neuropathy显示文摘Background:The goal was to investigate changes of the inner intra-retinal layer thicknesses and retinal capillary density(RCD)around the macula in thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy(TAO)patients with or without dysthyroid optic neuropathy(DON).Methods:Forty-four TAO patients including 23 non-DON and 21 DON patients,and 38 healthy participants were enrolled.Spectral domain optical coherence tomography equipped with Angiovue was used to obtain threedimensional retinal thickness maps and microvascular images of the superficial and deep retinal capillary layers(SRCL and DRCL,respectively)around the macula.Quantitative analyses were performed using a custom automated algorithm.Results:The thicknesses of the nerve fiber layer,ganglion cell layer+inner plexiform layer,and ganglion cell complex(GCC)as well as the RCDs in the SRCL and DRCL in both TAO groups were significantly decreased compared to the controls.In addition,the RCDs in DRCL of the DON group were further decreased compared to the non-DON group.GCC thickness in both TAO groups was positively correlated with the RCDs of the SRCL in the total annular zone and in the temporal,inferior,and nasal sectors.The areas under the receiver operating characteristic curves for the GCC thickness combined with the RCD were generally larger than those of each single indicator.Conclusions:Thinned inner intra-retinal layers and decreased RCDs in the TAO patients without DON revealed that morphological changes might precede visual dysfunction.The composite index of the retinal structure and the microvascular density might be valuable in the diagnosing,monitoring,and intervention for early DON. | Yufei Wu Yunhai Tu Chaoming Wu Lulu Bao Jianhua Wang Fan Lu Meixiao Shen Qi Chen | 2020 | Eye and Vision2020,7,1: | 3 |

| 20 | Study on the adsorption kinetics of orthophosphate anions on layer double hydroxide显示文摘A kinetic study was conducted on the adsorption of orthophosphate anions on layer double hydroxide (LDH). The adsorption has proved itself to be a spontaneous endothermic process and is large in capacity and rate. The adsorption isotherm correlates well with the Freundlich model, and a rise in temperature will lead to an increase in adsorption efficiency. Additionally, the results suggested that the adsorption is an entropy-increasing process and is in good agreement with the pseudo-second order kinetics. The free energy (ΔG) of adsorption of orthophosphate onto LDH varies within the range of -1.75--3.34 kJ/mol, the enthalpy (ΔH) varies by 7.96 kJ/mol and the entropy (ΔS) by 33.59 kJ/mol.
