1Three-dimensional modeling and simulation of asphalt concrete mixtures based on X-ray CT microstructure images显示文摘X-ray CT(computed tomography) was used to scan asphalt mixture specimen to obtain high resolution continuous cross-section images and the meso-structure.According to the theory of three-dimensional(3D) reconstruction,the 3D reconstruction algorithm was investigated in this paper.The key to the reconstruction technique is the acquisition of the voxel positions and the relationship between the pixel element and node.Three-dimensional numerical model of asphalt mixture specimen was created by a self-developed program.A splitting test was conducted to predict the stress distributions of the asphalt mixture and verify the rationality of the 3D model.Hainian Wang Zhihan Huang Lei Li Zhanping You Yu Chen 2014Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2014,1,1:30

3Review on evolution and evaluation of asphalt pavement structures and materials显示文摘The purpose of this study was to summarize the wide-range literatures on asphalt pavements, explore the evolution of road pavements, analyze typical asphalt pavement structures, highlight current trends in research and industry, and to recommend future areas of research and development. In this research, road pavement evolution was explored from the earliest roads to the modern pavements. A new method was recommended to categorize asphalt pavement materials into the three large families which may be further sub-divided according to their mechanical parameters. A unified asphalt pavement classification(UAPC) method was proposed and the worldwide asphalt pavements could be divided into six types through the new method. Based o n the UAPC method, 1087 asphalt pavement structures were classified and analyzed to explore the asphalt thickness variation. In order to evaluate asphalt pavement performance, the Chinese design specification was employed for analyzing lives of 29 high-volume pavements and 28 low-volume pavements. Through this research, it was found that:(1) in the past 100 years, asphalt pavement materials and structures had been becoming more and more strong;(2) asphalt layer thicknesses were various from 5 to 60 cm and the overall pavement thicknesses were various from 28 to 160 cm;(3) the long-life pavements in the other countries may become'shorter-life' pavements according to the prediction based on the Chinese specification.Yu Liu Peifeng Su Miaomiao Li Zhanping You Mohan Zhao 2020Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2020,7,5:6

11A new energy-absorbing bolt used for large deformation control of tunnel surrounding rock显示文摘In order to control the large deformation of tunnel surrounding rock,a new energy-absorbing bolt is developed.This bolt can be transformed into a rigid support when the deformation of the surrounding rock reaches the length of the sleeve tube,thus preventing the surrounding rock from continuing to deform.Moreover,this bolt has a simple structure and is easy to manufacture and assemble.Then the static tensile test is conducted on the bolt specimen to test its working performance.The test results show that when the cone angle of the cone block is small,the load–displacement curve of the bolt contains three stages;when the cone angle is large,the load–displacement curve contains only two stages.Meanwhile,both the average constant resistance and the maximum absorbed energy increase linearly with the increase of cone angle.On this basis,ignoring the influence of shear stress,and it is supposed that the thickness of the sleeve tube is constant,then the theoretical calculation formula of constant resistance for the new bolt is derived,and the rationality of the formula is verified using the static tensile test results.It is found that the error of the calculated result is less than 15%when the cone angle does not exceed 15.At last,the numerical simulation method is used to analyze the performance of the new bolt.The simulation results indicate that the generation of shear stress and the change of tube thickness during the movement of the cone block are two important factors that cause theoretical errors.Junbao Wang Wei Liu Zhanping Song Lingfeng Li Shijin Feng Yun Cheng 2022International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2022,32,5:1
