| 1 | Human bocavirus in children hospitalized for acute respiratory tract infection in Rome显示文摘Background The role of human bocavirus (HBoV) as a respiratory pathogen has not been fulfilled yet.We aimed to describe clinical and serological characteristics of children with HBoV hospitalized for acute respiratory tract infection and to evaluate whether differences occur between HBoV alone and in co-infection.Methods We retrospectively reviewed data from 60 children (median age of 6.2 months,range 0.6-70.9) hospitalized for acute respiratory symptoms,with HBoV detected from a respiratory sample,using a reverse transcriptase-PCR for 14 respiratory viruses (including respiratory syncytial virus (RSV),influenza virus A and B,human coronavirus OC43,229E,NL-63 and HUK1,adenovirus,rhinovirus,parainfluenza virus 1-3,and human metapneumovirus).Results HBoV was detected alone in 29 (48.3%) patients,while in co-infection with other viruses in 31 patients (51.7%),with a peak between December and January.Among the 60 patients,34 were bronchiolitis,19 wheezing,3 pneumonia,2 upper respiratory tract infection,and 2 whooping cough.Seven children (11.6%) required admission to the paediatric intensive care unit (PICU) for respiratory failure.No differences was observed in age,family history for atopy and/or asthma,clinical presentations,chest X-ray,or laboratory findings in children with HBoV alone vs.multiple viral detection.RSV was the most frequently co-detected virus (61.3%).When compared with HBoV detection alone,the co-detection of RSV and HBoV was associated with male sex (P=0.013),younger age (P=0.01),and lower blood neutrophil count (P=0.032).Conclusions HBoV can be detected alone and in co-infection respiratory samples of children with an acute respiratory tract infection.A cause-effect relationship between HBoV and respiratory infection is not clear,so further studies are needed to clarify this point. | Laura Petrarca Raffaella Nenna Antonella Frassanito Alessandra Pierangeli Greta Di Mattia Carolina Scagnolari Fabio Midulla | 2020 | World Journal of Pediatrics2020，16，3： | 17 |

| 3 | One-step hydrothermal synthesis of hierarchical Ag/Bi_2WO_6 composites: In situ growth monitoring and photocatalytic activity studies显示文摘Hierarchical Ag/Bi2WO6 nanomaterials were prepared by a facile one-step hydrothermal method in mixed acetic acid and ethylene glycol (EG) medium. EG is employed as mild reducing agent for the formation of metallic Ag from Ag+ precursors. In situ energy dispersive X-ray diffraction (EDXRD) monitoring showed that the hydrothermal formation kinetics of Bi2WO6 in the presence of EG was significantly slowed down due to its very high viscosity. The photocatalytic activities of Ag/Bi2WO6 composites were evaluated by the photodegradation of methylene blue (MB) under visible light irradiation. The photocatalytic activity of Bi2WO6 is strongly influenced by the Ag loading. | 4 | Long-term results of endosurgical and open surgical approach for Zenker diverticulum显示文摘AIM: To assess the effectiveness of minimally invasive versus traditional open surgical approach in the treatment of Zenker diverticulum. METHODS: Between 1976 and 2006, 297 patients underwent transoral stapling (n = 181) or stapled diverticulectomy and cricopharyngeal myotomy (n = 116). Subjective and objective evaluations of the outcome of the two procedures were made at 1 and 6 mo after operation, and then every year. Long-term follow-up data were available for a subgroup of patients at a minimum of 5 and 10 years. RESULTS: The operative time and hospital stay were markedly reduced in patients undergoing the endosurgical approach. Overall, 92% of patients undergoing the endosurgical approach and 94% of those undergoing the open approach were symptom-free or were significantly improved after a median follow-up of 27 and 48 mo, respectively. At a minimum follow-up of 5 and 10 years, most patients were asymptomatic after both procedures, except for those individuals undergoing an endosurgical procedure for a small diverticulum (< 3 cm). CONCLUSION: Both operations relieve the outflow obstruction at the pharyngoesophageal junction, indicating that cricopharyngeal myotomy has an important therapeutic role in this disease independent of the resection of the pouch and of the surgical approach. | 7 | Laser additive manufacturing of Si/ZrO_(2)tunable crystalline phase 3D nanostructures显示文摘The current study is directed to the rapidly developing field of inorganic material 3D object production at nano-/micro scale.The fabrication method includes laser lithography of hybrid organic-inorganic materials with subsequent heat treatment leading to a variety of crystalline phases in 3D structures.In this work,it was examined a series of organometallic polymer precursors with different silicon(Si)and zirconium(Zr)molar ratios,ranging from 9:1 to 5:5,prepared via sol-gel method.All mixtures were examined for perspective to be used in 3D laser manufacturing by fabricating nano-and micro-feature sized structures.Their spatial downscaling and surface morphology were evaluated depending on chemical composition and crystallographic phase.The appearance of a crystalline phase was proven using single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis,which revealed a lower crystallization temperature for microstructures compared to bulk materials.Fabricated 3D objects retained a complex geometry without any distortion after heat treatment up to 1400℃.Under the proper conditions,a wide variety of crystalline phases as well as zircon(ZrSiO_(4)-a highly stable material)can be observed.In addition,the highest new record of achieved resolution below 60 nm has been reached.The proposed preparation protocol can be used to manufacture micro/nano-devices with high precision and resistance to high temperature and aggressive environment. | Greta Merkininkaitė Edvinas Aleksandravičius Mangirdas Malinauskas Darius Gailevičius SimasŠakirzanovas | 2022 | Opto-Electronic Advances2022，5，5： | 3 |

| 11 | Extrahepatic aneurysm of the portal venous system and portal hypertension显示文摘Portal venous aneurysm (PVA) is a rare condition characterized by dilatation of the portal venous system. PVA manifestation of symptoms is varied and depends on the aneurysm size, location and related-complications, such as thrombosis. While the majority of reported cases of PVA are attributed to portal hypertension, very little is known about the condition's pathophysiology and clinical management remains a challenge. Here, we describe a 67-year-old woman who presented with complaint of dyspepsia and without a significant medical history, for whom PVA was incidentally diagnosed. The initial upper abdominal ultrasound revealed marked dilatation of the main portal vein, and subsequent contrast-enhanced computed tomography with angiography revealed a large aneurysm arising from the extrahepatic troncus portion of the portal vein, as well as gastroesophageal varices. A conservative approach using beta-blocker therapy was chosen. | 12 | Atrophic gastritis and gastric cancer tissue miRNome analysis reveals hsa-miR-129-1 and hsa-miR-196a as potential early diagnostic biomarkers显示文摘BACKGROUND Gastric cancer(GC)is one of the most frequently diagnosed tumor globally.In most cases,GC develops in a stepwise manner from chronic gastritis or atrophic gastritis(AG)to cancer.One of the major issues in clinical settings of GC is diagnosis at advanced disease stages resulting in poor prognosis.Micro RNAs(mi RNAs)are small noncoding molecules that play an essential role in a variety of fundamental biological processes.However,clinical potential of mi RNA profiling in the gastric cancerogenesis,especially in premalignant GC cases,remains unclear.AIM To evaluate the AG and GC tissue mi RNomes and identify specific mi RNAs’potential for clinical applications(e.g.,non-invasive diagnostics).METHODS Study included a total of 125 subjects:Controls(CON),AG,and GC patients.All study subjects were recruited at the Departments of Surgery or Gastroenterology,Hospital of Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and divided into the profiling(n=60)and validation(n=65)cohorts.Total RNA isolated from tissue samples was used for preparation of small RNA sequencing libraries and profiled using next-generation sequencing(NGS).Based on NGS data,deregulated mi RNAs hsa-mi R-129-1-3 p and hsa-mi R-196 a-5 p were analyzed in plasma samples of independent cohort consisting of CON,AG,and GC patients.Expression level of hsa-mi R-129-1-3 p and hsa-mi R-196 a-5 p was determined using the quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and 2-ΔΔCt method.RESULTS Results of tissue analysis revealed 20 differentially expressed mi RNAs in AG group compared to CON group,129 deregulated mi RNAs in GC compared to CON,and 99 altered mi RNAs comparing GC and AG groups.Only 2 mi RNAs(hsa-mi R-129-1-3 p and hsa-mi R-196 a-5 p)were identified to be step-wise deregulated in healthy-premalignant-malignant sequence.Area under the curve(AUC)-receiver operating characteristic analysis revealed that expression level of hsa-mi R-196 a-5 p is significant for discrimination of CON vs AG,CON vs GC and AG vs GC and resulted in AUCs:88.0%,93.1%and 66.3%,respectively.Comparing results in tissue and plasma samples,hsa-mi R-129-1-3 p was significantly down-regulated in GC compared to AG(P=0.0021 and P=0.024,tissue and plasma,respectively).Moreover,analysis revealed that hsa-mi R-215-3 p/5 p and hsa-mi R-934 were significantly deregulated in GC based on Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)infection status[log2 fold change(FC)=-4.52,P-adjusted=0.02;log2 FC=-4.00,P-adjusted=0.02;log2 FC=6.09,P-adjusted=0.02,respectively].CONCLUSION Comprehensive mi RNome study provides evidence for gradual deregulation of hsa-mi R-196 a-5 p and hsa-mi R-129-1-3 p in gastric carcinogenesis and found hsami R-215-3 p/5 p and hsa-mi R-934 to be significantly deregulated in H.pylori carrying GC patients. | Greta Varkalaite Evelina Vaitkeviciute Ruta Inciuraite Violeta Salteniene Simonas Juzenas Vytenis Petkevicius Rita Gudaityte Antanas Mickevicius Alexander Link Limas Kupcinskas Marcis Leja Juozas Kupcinskas Jurgita Skieceviciene | 2022 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2022，28，6： | 2 |

| 14 | Current status of minimally invasive endoscopic management for Zenker diverticulum显示文摘Surgical resection has been the mainstay of treatment of pharyngoesophageal(Zenker) diverticula over the past century. Developments in minimally invasive surgery and new endoscopic devices have led to a paradigm change. The concept of dividing the septum between the esophagus and the pouch rather than resecting the pouch itself has been revisited during the last three decades and new technologies have been investigated to make the transoral operation safe and effective. The internal pharyngoesophageal myotomy accomplishedthrough the transoral stapling approach has been shown to effectively relieve outflow obstruction and restore physiological bolus transit in patients with medium size diverticula. Transoral techniques, either through a rigid device or by flexible endoscopy, are gaining popularity over the open surgical approach due the low morbidity, the fast recovery time and the fact that the procedure can be safely repeated.
