| 1 | Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. | 2 | Highly efficient Cu/anatase TiO2 {001}-nanosheets catalysts for methanol synthesis from CO2显示文摘Anatase TiO_2 nanosheets(-ns-) with dominant exposed {001} facets were used as support to load copper,and the synthesized Cu/TiO_2-ns catalysts were evaluated for CO_2 hydrogenation to methanol. Under the reaction conditions, P = 3.0 MPa, T = 260 ℃, V(N_2):V(H_2):V(CO_2) = 8:69:23 and gas hourly space velocity(GHSV) = 3600 mL g^(-1)h^(-1), the methanol yield reached an appealing high value, 5.6%. Copper-loading amount, calcination temperature and reduction atmosphere have been investigated in this work, which significantly influence the particle sizes of copper and/or the defect concentration in TiO_2, then leading to different catalytic performance. Characterizations of XRD, EPR, CO_2-TPD and FTIR demonstrate that higher specific surface area of Cu is good for the hydrogenation of CO_2 and adequate amount of Ti^(3+) plays important roles in CO_2 activation. | 4 | Comparative study on wheel-rail dynamic interactions of side-frame cross-bracing bogie and sub-frame radial bogie显示文摘Improving freight axle load is the most effective method to improve railway freight capability; based on the imported technologies of railway freight bogie, the 27 t axle load side-frame cross-bracing bogie and sub-frame radial bogie are developed in China. In order to analyze and compare dynamic interactions of the two newly developed heavy-haul freight bogies, we establish a vehicle-track coupling dynamic model and use numerical calculation methods for computer simulation. The dynamic performances of the two bogies are simulated separately at various conditions. The results show that at the dipped joint and straight line running conditions, the wheel-rail dynamic interactions of both bogies are basically the same, but at the curve negotiation condition, the wear and the lateral force of the side-frame cross-bracing bogie are much higher than that of the sub-frame radial bogie, and the advantages become more obvious when the curve radius is smaller. | 5 | Overview to the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (Insight-HXMT) Satellite显示文摘As China’s first X-ray astronomical satellite, the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (HXMT), which was dubbed as Insight-HXMT after the launch on June 15, 2017, is a wide-band(1-250 ke V) slat-collimator-based X-ray astronomy satellite with the capability of all-sky monitoring in 0.2-3 Me V. | 7 | Phytoplankton pigment pattern in the subsurface chlorophyll maximum in the South Java coastal upwelling system, Indonesia显示文摘Upwelling occurs on the coast of Java between June and October, forced by local alongshore winds associated with the southeasterly monsoon. This causes variations in phytoplankton community composition in the upwelling zone compared with the surrounding offshore area. Based on pigments analysis with subsequent calculations of group contributions to total chlorophyll a(Chl a) using CHEMTAX, we studied the distribution and composition of phytoplankton assemblages in the subsurface chlorophyll maximum along the south coast of Java and the influence of upwelling. Nineteen phytoplankton pigments were identified using high-performance liquid chromatography, and CHEMTAX analysis associated these to ten major phytoplankton groups. The phytoplankton community in the coastal area influenced by upwelling was characterized by high Chl a and fucoxanthin concentrations, indicating the dominance of diatoms. In contrast, in the offshore area, the Chl a and fucoxanthin concentrations declined to very low levels and the community was dominated by haptophytes represented by 19′-Hexanoyloxyfucoxanthin. Accordingly, microphytoplankton was found to be the major size class in the coastal area influenced by upwelling, while nanophytoplankton was most abundant in the offshore area. Low concentrations of other accessory pigments indicated less contribution from dinoflagellates,prasinophytes, chlorophytes and cryptophytes. Photo-pigment indices revealed that photosynthetic carotenoids(PSCs) were the largest component of the pigment pool, exceeding the proportion of Chl a, with the average PSCTP up to 0.62. | 13 | 3D S-wave velocity structure of the Ningdu basin in Jiangxi province inferred from ambient noise tomography with dense array显示文摘The Ningdu basin,located in southern Jiangxi province of southwest China,is one of the Mesozoic basin groups which has exploration prospects for geothermal energy.A study on the detailed velocity structure of the Ningdu basin can provide important information for geothermal resource exploration.In this study,we deployed a dense seismic array in the Ningdu basin to investigate the 3D velocity structure and discuss implications for geothermal exploration and geological evolution.Based on the dense seismic array including 35 short-period(5 s-100 Hz)seismometers with an average interstation distance of~5 km,Rayleigh surface wave dispersion curves were extracted from the continuous ambient noise data for surface wave tomographic inversion.Group velocity tomography was conducted and the 3D S-wave velocity structure was inverted by the neighborhood algorithm.The results revealed obvious low-velocity anomalies in the center of the basin,consistent with the low-velocity Cretaceous sedimentary rocks.The basement and basin-controlling fault can also be depicted by the S-wave velocity anomalies.The obvious seismic interface is about 2 km depth in the basin center and decreases to 700 m depth near the basin boundary,suggesting spatial thickness variations of the Cretaceous sediment.The fault features of the S-wave velocity profile coincide with the geological cognition of the western boundary basincontrolling fault,which may provide possible upwelling channels for geothermal fluid.This study suggests that seismic tomography with a dense array is an effective method and can play an important role in the detailed investigations of sedimentary basins. | Long Teng Xiangteng Wang Chunlei Fu Feng Bao Jiajun Chong Sidao Ni Zhiwei Li | 2023 | Earthquake Research Advances2023,3,1: | 0 |
| 14 | Fractional Distribution of Lead and Cadmium in Sludge and Soil Amended with Sludge Compost显示文摘The modified three-step sequential extraction procedure proposed by the BCR was used to predict Pb and Cd fractional distribution in sewage sludge and tomato soil amended with sludge compost. There was no significant increasing of Pb and Cd contents in the soil with sludge application as compared with that in the reference soil. The Pb contents were much lower for the soil samples than for the National Soil Standards of Environmental Quality, but Cd contents in soil were much more than background mean Cd contents. Pb content in soil fractions was followed with residual Pb > reducible Pb > exchangeable and weak acid soluble Pb > oxidizable Pb. In all soil samples, the partitioning of Cd had the same extractability in the first two steps of the procedure and the residual fraction. | 15 | Rumen microbiota-host transcriptome interaction mediates the protective effects of trans-10,cis-12 CLA on facilitating weaning transition of lambs显示文摘Developing alternatives to antibiotics for prevention of gastrointestinal dysbiosis in early-weaning farmed animals is urgently needed.This study was to explore the potential effects of trans-10,cis-12 conjugated linoleic acid(CLA)on maintaining ruminal homeostasis of young ruminants during the weaning transition period.Thirty neonatal lambs were selected(6 lambs per group)and euthanized for rumen microbial and epithelial analysis.The lambs were weaned at 28 d and experienced the following 5 treatments:euthanized on d 28 as the pre-weaning control(CON0),fed starter feed for 5(CON5)or 21(CON21)d,fed starter feed with 1%of CLA supplemented for 5(CLA5)or 21(CLA21)d.Results showed that the average daily weight gain and dry matter intake were significantly higher in CLA5 than CON5 group.As compared with the CON5 and CON21 group,the relative abundances of volatile fatty acid(VFA)producing bacteria including Bacteroides,Treponema,Parabacteroides and Anaerovibrio,as well as the concentrations of acetate,butyrate and total VFA were significantly increased in CLA5 and CLA21 group,respectively.Integrating microbial profiling and epithelial transcriptome results showed that 7 downregulated inflammatory signaling-related host genes IL2RA,CXCL9,CD4,CCR4,LTB,SPP1,and BCL2A1 with CLA supplementation were significantly negatively correlated with both VFA concentration and VFA producing bacteria,while 3(GPX2,SLC27A2 and ALDH3A1)and 2(GSTM3 and GSTA1)upregulated metabolism-related genes,significantly positively correlated with either VFA concentration or VFA producing bacteria,respectively.To confirm the effects of CLA on epithelial signal transduction,in vitro experiment was further conducted by treating rumen epithelial cells without or with IL-17A+TNF-αfor 12 h after pretreatment of 100μM CLA or not(6 replicates per treatment).The results demonstrated the anti-inflammatory effect of CLA via suppressing the protein expression of NF-кB p-p65/p65 with the activation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma(PPARγ).In conclusion,CLA supplementation enhanced the ruminal microbiota-driven transcriptional regulation in healthy rumen epithelial development via rumen VFA production,and CLA may therefore serve as an alternative way to alleviate early-weaning stress and improve physiological and metabolic conditions of young ruminants. | Chunlei Yang Xiangfei Deng Peter Lund Haixia Liu Xingwang Ding Zhengwei Fu Naifeng Zhang Jinjun Li Lifeng Dong | 2023 | Animal Nutrition2023,,1: | 0 |
| 16 | Study on time-resolved fluorescence dynamics of cyanine dye sensitizing AgBr显示文摘The fluorescence spectra of three different dyes adsorbed on the tabular and cubic AgBr microcrystals are obtained by the picosecond time-resolved streak camera technique. The dependence of the ultrafast electron transferring from dye-aggre-gates to the conduction band of AgBr and the efficiency of spectral sensitization on different kinds of dyes with different concentrations is analyzed. Further more,the microcosmic mechanism of the sensitization process is discussed. It is found that the fluorescence decay curves are fitted very well by the double exponential func-tion,consisting of a slow component and a fast one with large amplitude. | 18 | Inter-Provincial Transaction Model in Two-Level ElectricityMarket Considering Carbon Emission and Consumption Responsibility Weights显示文摘In the context of the joint operation of China’s intra-provincial markets and inter-provincial trading,how to meet the load demand and energy consumption using inter-provincial renewable energy trading is a key problem.The combined operation of intra-provincial and inter-provincial markets provides a new way for provincial power companies to optimize and clear the intra-provincial power market,complete the intra-provincial consumption responsibility weight index,and consume renewable energy across provinces and regions.This paper combines power generation and consumption within the province,uses inter-provincial renewable energy trading tomeet the load demand within the province and completes the index of intra-provincial consumption responsibility weights.The intra-provincial market trading and inter-provincial market clearing are respectively taken as the upper and lower levels of the model.Under the two-level electricity market operation framework,the upper-level model aims to minimize the expected total operating cost within the province considering the carbon emission cost and the weight of the consumption responsibility,while the lower-level model aims to minimize the inter-provincial renewable energy purchasing cost.Finally,the influence of inter-provincial transaction mechanism,risk aversion coefficient,voucher price,and responsibility weight on operating cost is analyzed.Simulation is used to verify that the proposed model can meet the requirements of the provincial load power consumption and the consumption responsibility weight index,and promote the consumption of renewable energy. | Chunlei Jiao HongyanHao Ming Li Rifucairen Fu Yichun Liu Shunfu Lin Ronghui Liu | 2023 | Energy Engineering2023,120,10: | 0 |
| 19 | Detection of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons using a high performance-single particle aerosol mass spectrometer显示文摘The real-time detection of the mixing states of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)and nitro-PAHs in ambient particles is of great significance for analyzing the source,aging process,and health effects of PAHs and nitro-PAHs;yet there is still few effective technology to achieve this type of detection.In this study,11 types of PAH and nitro-PAH standard sampleswere analyzed using a high performance-single particle aerosolmass spectrometer(HP-SPAMS)in lab studies.The identification principles‘parent ions’and‘mass-to-charge(m/z)=77’of each compound were obtained in this study.It was found that different laser energies did not affect the identification of the parent ions.The comparative experiments of ambient atmospheric particles,cooking and biomass burning emitted particles with and without the addition of PAHs were conducted and ruled out the interferences from primary and secondary organics on the identification of PAHs.Besides,the reliability of the characteristic ions extraction method was evaluated through the comparative study of similarity algorithm and deep learning algorithm.In addition,the real PAH-containing particles from vehicle exhaust emissions and ambient particles were also analyzed.This study improves the ability of single particle mass spectrometry technology to detect PAHs and nitro-PAHs,and HP-SPAMS was superior to SPAMS for detecting single particles containing PAHs and nitro-PAHs.This study provides support for subsequent ambient observations to identify the characteristic spectrum of single particles containing PAHs and nitro-PAHs. | Yao Zhang Chenglei Pei Jinwen Zhang Chunlei Cheng Xiufeng Lian Mubai Chen Bo Huang Zhong Fu Zhen Zhou Mei Li | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,2: | 0 |
