Multi-UAV reconnaissance task allocation for heterogeneous targets using an opposition-based genetic algorithm with double-chromosome encoding显示文摘This paper presents a novel multiple Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs) reconnaissance task allocation model for heterogeneous targets and an effective genetic algorithm to optimize UAVs' task sequence. Heterogeneous targets are classified into point targets, line targets and area targets according to features of target geometry and sensor's field of view. Each UAV is regarded as a Dubins vehicle to consider the kinematic constraints. And the objective of task allocation is to minimize the task execution time and UAVs' total consumptions. Then, multi-UAV reconnaissance task allocation is formulated as an extended Multiple Dubins Travelling Salesmen Problem(MDTSP), where visit paths to the heterogeneous targets must meet specific constraints due to the targets' feature. As a complex combinatorial optimization problem, the dimensions of MDTSP are further increased due to the heterogeneity of targets. To efficiently solve this computationally expensive problem, the Opposition-based Genetic Algorithm using Double-chromosomes Encoding and Multiple Mutation Operators(OGA-DEMMO) is developed to improve the population variety for enhancing the global exploration capability. The simulation results demonstrate that OGADEMMO outperforms the ordinary genetic algorithm, ant colony optimization and random search in terms of optimality of the allocation results, especially for large scale reconnaissance task allocation problems.Zhu WANG Li LIU Teng LONG Yonglu WENa 2018Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2018,31,2:35
Tolerance of Grasses to Heavy Metals and Microbial Functional Diversity in Soils Contaminated with Copper Mine Tailings显示文摘Copper(Cu) mine tailings, because of their high content of heavy metals, are usually hostile to plant colonization.A pot experiment was conducted to determine the tolerance of four forage grasses to heavy metals in Cu mine tailings and to examine the variation in the microbial functional diversity of soils from the tailing sites in southern China. All the four grass species survived on Cu mine tailings and Cu mine tailing-soil mixture. However,on pure mine tailings, the growth was minimal, whereas the growth was maximum for the control without mine tailings. The tolerance of grasses to heavy metals followed the sequence:Paspalum notatum > Festuca arundinacea > Lolium perenne > Cynodon dactylon. The planting of forage grasses enhanced the soil microbial biomass. The Biolog data indicated that the soil microbial metabolic profile values(average well color development, community richness, and Shannon index) of the four forage grasses also followed the sequence:P.notatum > F.arundinacea > L.perenne > C.dactylon.Thus,P.notatum,under the experimental conditions of this study, may be considered as the preferred plant species for revegetation of Cu mine tailing areas.TENG Ying LUO Yong-Ming HUANG Chang-Yong LONG Jian LI Zhen-Gao P. 3Advanced technology of high-resolution radar: target detection, tracking, imaging, and recognition显示文摘In recent years, the performances of radar resolution, coverage, and detection accuracy have been significantly improved through the use of ultra-wideband, synthetic aperture and digital signal processing technologies. High-resolution radars(HRRs) utilize wideband signals and synthetic apertures to enhance the range and angular resolutions of tracking, respectively. They also generate one-, two-, and even threedimensional high-resolution images containing the feature information of targets, from which the targets can be precisely classified and identified. Advanced signal processing algorithms in HRRs obtain important information such as range-Doppler imaging, phase-derived ranging, and micro-motion features. However, the advantages and applications of HRRs are restricted by factors such as the reduced signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)of multi-scatter point targets, decreased tracking accuracy of multi-scatter point targets, high demands of motion compensation, and low sensitivity of the target attitude. Focusing on these problems, this paper systematically introduces the novel technologies of HRRs and discusses the issues and solutions relevant to detection, tracking, imaging, and recognition. Finally, it reviews the latest progress and representative results of HRR-based research, and suggests the future development of HRRs.Teng LONG Zhennan LIANG Quanhua LIU 2019Science China(Information Sciences)2019,62,4:17
Metamodel-based Global Optimization Using Fuzzy Clustering for Design Space Reduction显示文摘High fidelity analysis are utilized in modern engineering design optimization problems which involve expensive black-box models. For computation-intensive engineering design problems, efficient global optimization methods must be developed to relieve the computational burden.A new metamodel-based global optimization method using fuzzy clustering for design space reduction(MGO-FCR) is presented. The uniformly distributed initial sample points are generated by Latin hypercube design to construct the radial basis function metamodel, whose accuracy is improved with increasing number of sample points gradually.Fuzzy c-mean method and Gath-Geva clustering method are applied to divide the design space into several small interesting cluster spaces for low and high dimensional problems respectively.Modeling efficiency and accuracy are directly related to the design space,so unconcerned spaces are eliminated by the proposed reduction principle and two pseudo reduction algorithms. The reduction principle is developed to determine whether the current design space should be reduced and which space is eliminated. The first pseudo reduction algorithm improves the speed of clustering, while the second pseudo reduction algorithm ensures the design space to be reduced.Through several numerical benchmark functions, comparative studies with adaptive response surface method, approximated unimodal region elimination method and mode-pursuing sampling are carried out.The optimization results reveal that this method captures the real global optimum for all the numerical benchmark functions. And the number of function evaluations show that the efficiency of this method is favorable especially for high dimensional problems.Based on this global design optimization method,a design optimization of a lifting surface in high speed flow is carried out and this method saves about 10 h compared with genetic algorithms. This method possesses favorable performance on efficiency, robustness and capability of global convergence and gives a new optimization strategy for engineering design optimization problems involving expensive black box models.LI Yulin LIU Li LONG Teng DONG Weili 2013Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,5:13
Ground moving target signal model and power calculation in forward scattering micro radar显示文摘Forward scattering micro radar is used for situation awareness;its operational range is relatively short because of the battery power and local horizon, the free space propagation model is not appropriate. The ground moving targets, such as humans, cars and tanks, have only comparable size with the transmitted signal wavelength;the point target model and the linear change of observation angle are not applicable. In this paper, the signal model of ground moving target is developed based on the case of forward scattering micro radar, considering the two-ray propagation model and area target model, and nonlinear change of observation angle as well as high order phase error. Furthermore, the analytical form of the received power from moving target has been obtained. Using the simulated forward scattering radar cross section, the received power of theoretical calculation is near to that of measured data. In addition, the simulated signal model of ground moving target is perfectly matched with the experimented data. All these results show the correctness of analytical calculation completely.LONG Teng HU Cheng MIKHAIL Cherniakov 2009Science in China(Series F)2009,52,9:12

Physical modeling and spectrum spread analysis of surface clutter in forward scattering radar显示文摘In this paper, based on the processing results of measured clutter data in forward scattering radar, a special phenomenon that the clutter spectrum spread is insensitive to the wind speed and carrier frequency is observed. The pendulum model is first time introduced into the physical modeling and formation mechanism analysis of surface clutter, and the quantitative expression of clutter spectrum spread is analytically obtained. Under the assumption of pendulum model, the processing results of measured clutter data agree well with the results of theoretical analysis, which fully verifies the correctness of pendulum model and reveals the formation mechanism of surface clutter spectrum in forward scattering radar. Furthermore, according to the stability of clutter spectrum spread with respect to carrier frequencies and wind speed, the optimal cutofrequencies of clutter filter can be obtained, which establishes the basis for moving target detection and accurate parameters estimation.LONG Teng, HU Cheng, ZENG Tao & LI XiaoLiang Radar Research Laboratory, Department of Electronic Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing 100081, China 2010Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,11:11

A new complex Duffing oscillator used in complex signal detection显示文摘In view of the fact that complex signals are often used in the digital processing of certain systems such as digital communication and radar systems,a new complex Duffing equation is proposed. In addition, the dynamical behaviors are analyzed.By calculating the maximal Lyapunov exponent and power spectrum,we prove that the proposed complex differential equation has a chaotic solution or a large-scale periodic one depending on different parameters.Based on the proposed equation,we present a complex chaotic oscillator detection system of the Duffing type.Such a dynamic system is sensitive to the initial conditions and highly immune to complex white Gaussian noise,so it can be used to detect a weak complex signal against a background of strong noise. Results of the Monte-Carlo simulation show that the proposed detection system can effectively detect complex single frequency signals and linear frequency modulation signals with a guaranteed low false alarm rate.DENG XlaoYing LIU HaiBo LONG Teng 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,17:11
HPRF pulse Doppler stepped frequency radar显示文摘Stepped frequency radar is a well known scheme to generate high range resolution profile(HRRP) of targets. Through appropriate radar parameter design, the radar enables both unambiguous velocity measurement and high resolution ranging within a single dwell in a high pulse repetition frequency(HPRF) mode. This paper analyzes in detail the design principle of the HPRF stepped frequency radar system, the solution to its ambiguity issue,as well as its signal processing method. Both theoretical analysis and simulation results demonstrate that the proposed radar scheme can work independently to solve the problem of motion compensation, and is therefore highly applicable to many new types of radar.LONG Teng REN LiXiang 2009Science in China(Series F)2009,52,5:8
Impacts of ionospheric scintillation on geosynchronous SAR focusing: preliminary experiments and analysis显示文摘亲爱的编辑,同步合成孔径雷达(GEO SAR)具有显着的潜在危害和灾害监测应用时,由于其短重访时间约24小时,约1 / 3的地球表面[1,2],覆盖面广。 LI YuanHao HU Cheng DONG XiChao TIAN WeiMing LONG Teng 2015Science China(Information Sciences)2015,58,10:8
Compound Formula Rehmannia alleviates levodopainduced dyskinesia in Parkinson's disease显示文摘Compound Formula Rehmannia has been shown to be clinically effective in treating Parkinson's disease and levodopa-induced dyskinesia; however, the mechanisms remain unclear. In this study,we established a model of Parkinson's disease dyskinesia in rats, and treated these animals with Compound Formula Rehmannia.Compound Formula Rehmannia inhibited the increase in mRNA expression of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor subunits 1 and 2 and excitatory amino acid neurotransmitter genes, and it inhibited the reduction in expression of γ-aminobutyric acid receptor B1,an inhibitory amino acid neurotransmitter gene,in the corpus striatum. In addition,Compound Formula Rehmannia alleviated dyskinesia symptoms in the Parkinson's disease rats. These experimental findings indicate that Compound Formula Rehmannia alleviates levodopa-induced dyskinesia in Parkinson's disease by modulating neurotransmitter signaling in the corpus striatum.Long Teng Fang Hong Chenguang Zhang Jiancheng He Haiying Wang 2014Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,4:8
Insight-HXMT:China's First X-Ray Astronomical Satellite显示文摘The Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope(HXMT) satellite is the first X-ray astronomical satellite in China. Utilizing the 'direct demodulation image reconstruction method', HXMT will perform broad band(1-250 keV) survey of large sky areas in scanning mode, which can result in source detection characterized with high sensitivity and spatial resolution. Point observation is another key working mode of HXMT, and is specified for observations of galactic bright sources like X-Ray Binary(XRB) and others. 14High Resolution Radar Real-Time Signal and Information Processing显示文摘Radar is an electronic device that uses radio waves to determine the range, angle, or velocity of objects. Real-time signal and information processor is an important module for real-time positioning, imaging, detection and recognition of targets. With the development of ultra-wideband technology, synthetic aperture technology, signal and information processing technology, the radar coverage, detection accuracy and resolution have been greatly improved, especially in terms of one-dimensional(1D) high-resolution radar detection, tracking, recognition, and two-dimensional(2D) synthetic aperture radar imaging technology. Meanwhile, for the application of radar detection and remote sensing with high resolution and wide swath, the amount of data has been greatly increased. 15The possibility of isolated target 3-D position estimation and optimal receiver position determination in SS-BSAR显示文摘Starting from the generalized ambiguity function of bistatic SAR(BSAR) ,it is shown that 3-D point target estimation can be carried out in space-surface bistatic SAR(SS-BSAR) . Appropriate analytical equations, based on maximum likelihood estimation(MLE) ,are derived and confirmed via computer simulation. Furthermore, the performance of the estimate using the Crammer-Rao bound is analyzed for the case in question, thus further revealing the possibility and potential of target 3-D position estimation. Setting the determinant maximum of the information matrix as the criterion, the optimal receiver position and multi-receiver configuration are analytically determined in the SS-BSAR system. Simulation results also validate the correctness of the analytical calculation.HU Cheng LONG Teng ZENG Tao 2008Science in China(Series F)2008,51,9:7
A reduced order aerothermodynamic modeling framework for hypersonic vehicles based on surrogate and POD显示文摘Aerothermoelasticity is one of the key technologies for hypersonic vehicles. Accurate and efficient computation of the aerothermodynamics is one of the primary challenges for hypersonic aerothermoelastic analysis. Aimed at solving the shortcomings of engineering calculation, computation fluid dynamics(CFD) and experimental investigation, a reduced order modeling(ROM)framework for aerothermodynamics based on CFD predictions using an enhanced algorithm of fast maximin Latin hypercube design is developed. Both proper orthogonal decomposition(POD) and surrogate are considered and compared to construct ROMs. Two surrogate approaches named Kriging and optimized radial basis function(ORBF) are utilized to construct ROMs. Furthermore,an enhanced algorithm of fast maximin Latin hypercube design is proposed, which proves to be helpful to improve the precisions of ROMs. Test results for the three-dimensional aerothermodynamic over a hypersonic surface indicate that: the ROMs precision based on Kriging is better than that by ORBF, ROMs based on Kriging are marginally more accurate than ROMs based on PODKriging. In a word, the ROM framework for hypersonic aerothermodynamics has good precision and efficiency.Chen Xin Liu Li Long Teng Yue Zhenjiang 2015Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2015,28,5:7
An improved motion compensation method for high resolution UAV SAR imaging显示文摘The polynomial and sinusoidal motion errors always exist in the unmanned aero vehicle(UAV)SAR due to the small size and low velocity of the platform, causing serious spectrum compressing/stretching and significant spectral replicas of the azimuth signal. The motion errors induce serious blurring of the SAR image and'ghost targets',and can hardly be precisely estimated by the conventional motion compensation(MOCO)method. In this paper,an improved MOCO method is proposed to estimate and eliminate the motion errors in the high resolution UAV SAR without high precision inertial navigation system(INS)data. The time domain range walk correction(RWC)operation in the coarse phase error estimation process of the proposed MOCO method is the key operation that ensures the estimation accuracy of the whole MOCO method. Finally, the validity of the improved MOCO method is verified by computer simulations and real UAV SAR data processing.FAN BangKui DING ZeGang GAO WenBin LONG Teng 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,12:6
A high-precision phase-derived range and velocity measurement method based on synthetic wideband pulse Doppler radar显示文摘Development of radar technology needs to address the two-dimensional high resolution of range and velocity simultaneously for high-speed targets. Taking advantage of the superior coherent performance of synthetic wideband pulse Doppler radar, this paper elaborates the principles of phase-derived range and velocity measurements. Moreover, this paper explores the key technologies of unwrapping phase ambiguity, and discusses the phase unwrapping strategy at a low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR). The proposed method can be applied to the conditions of low SNR and has comparatively strong practicality in engineering. Both the ejection ball and civil aircraft experiments have validated the correctness and feasibility of the proposed method. In particular, the experimental results reveal that the accuracy of phase-derived range and velocity measurement has reached a level of submillimeter or millimeter and centimeter/second or submillimeter/second, respectively.Huayu FAN Lixiang REN Teng LONG Erke MAO 2017Science China(Information Sciences)2017,60,8:6
Global Optimization Method Using SLE and Adaptive RBF Based on Fuzzy Clustering显示文摘High fidelity analysis models, which are beneficial to improving the design quality, have been more and more widely utilized in the modern engineering design optimization problems. However, the high fidelity analysis models are so computationally expensive that the time required in design optimization is usually unacceptable. In order to improve the efficiency of optimization involving high fidelity analysis models, the optimization efficiency can be upgraded through applying surrogates to approximate the computationally expensive models, which can greately reduce the computation time.An efficient heuristic global optimization method using adaptive radial basis function(RBF) based on fuzzy clustering(ARFC) is proposed. In this method,a novel algorithm of maximin Latin hypercube design using successive local enumeration(SLE) is employed to obtain sample points with good performance in both space-filling and projective uniformity properties, which does a great deal of good to metamodels accuracy.RBF method is adopted for constructing the metamodels, and with the increasing the number of sample points the approximation accuracy of RBF is gradually enhanced. The fuzzy c-means clustering method is applied to identify the reduced attractive regions in the original design space. The numerical benchmark examples are used for validating the performance of ARFC.The results demonstrates that for most application examples the global optima are effectively obtained and comparison with adaptive response surface method(ARSM) proves that the proposed method can intuitively capture promising design regions and can efficiently identify the global or near-global design optimum. This method improves the efficiency and global convergence of the optimization problems, and gives a new optimization strategy for engineering design optimization problems involving computationally expensive models.ZHU Huaguang LIU Li LONG Teng ZHAO Junfeng 2012Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,4:6
Room temperature ferromagnetism in ultra-thin van der Waals crystals of 1T-CrTe2显示文摘Although many emerging new phenomena have been unraveled in two dimensional(2D)materials with long-range spin orderings, the usually low critical temperature in van der Waals(vdW)magnetic material has thus far hindered the related practical applications. Here,we show that ferromagnetism can hold above 300 K in a metallic phase of 1T-CrTe2 down to the ultra-thin limit. It thus makes CrTe2 so far the only known exfoliated ultra-thin vdW magnets with intrinsic long-range magnetic ordering above room temperature. An in-plane room-temperature negative anisotropic magnetoresistance(AMR)was obtained in ultra-thin CrTe2 devices, with a sign change in the AMR at lower temperature,with−0.6%and+5%at 300 and 10 K,respectively. Our findings provide insights into magnetism in ultra-thin CrTe2,expanding the vdW crystals toolbox for future room-temperature spintronic applications.Xingdan Sun Wanying Li Xiao Wang Qi Sui Tongyao Zhang Zhi Wang Long Liu Da Li Shun Feng Siyu Zhong Hanwen Wang Vincent Bouchiat Manuel Nunez Regueiro Nicolas Rougemaille Johann Coraux Anike Purbawati Abdellali Hadj-Azzem Zhenhua Wang Baojuan Dong Xing Wu Teng Yang Guoqiang Yu Bingwu Wang Zheng Han Xiufeng Han Zhidong Zhang 2020Nano Research2020,13,12:6
