1The Impact of Farmland Transfers on Agricultural Investment in China:A Perspective of Transaction Cost Economics显示文摘There is growing concern that farmland transfers lead to less agricultural investment, which may adversely affect agricultural productivity growth in China.Prior research has primarily focused on the differences between owned cultivated land and rented plots,but little is known about how farmland transfers between relatives,which are popular in rural China,specifically affect agricultural investment.In this paper,we present a conceptual framework of transaction cost economics to compare different contracting strategies in China's farmland rental markets.As farmland rental markets in China are immature,land transfer between relatives establishes bilateral governance,which has the advantage of addressing the opportunistic activities of both parties and can ultimately increase investment by tenants.Based on data from two waves of household surveys,we empirically examine the impact of bilateral governance on the application of organic fertilizer,an indicator for agricultural investment.Our findings show that apart from economic factors, kinship is important to the functioning of farmland rental markets in rural areas.Liangliang Gao Dingqiang Sun Cuiping Ma 2019China & World Economy2019,27,1:6

3Calcium silicate accelerates cutaneous wound healing with enhanced re-epithelialization through EGF/EGFR/ERK-mediated promotion of epidermal stem cell functions显示文摘Background:Human epidermal stem cells(hESCs)play an important role in re-epithelialization and thereby in facilitating wound healing,while an effective way to activate hESCs remains to be explored.Calcium silicate(CS)is a form of bioceramic that can alter cell behavior and promote tissue regeneration.Here,we have observed the effect of CS on hESCs and investigated its possible mechanism.Methods:Using a mouse full-thickness skin excision model,we explored the therapeutic effect of CS on wound healing and re-epithelialization.In vitro,hESCs were cultured with diluted CS ion extracts(CSIEs),and the proliferation,migration ability and stemness of hESCs were evaluated.The effects of CS on the epidermal growth factor(EGF),epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)and extracellular signal-related kinase(ERK)signaling pathway were also explored.Results:In vivo,CS accelerated wound healing and re-epithelialization.Immunohistochemistry demonstrated that CS upregulated cytokeratin 19 and integrinβ1 expression,indicating that CS improved hESCs stemness.In vitro studies confirmed that CS improved the biological function of hESCs.And the possible mechanism could be due to the activation of the EGF/EGFR/ERK signaling pathway.Conclusion:CS can promote re-epithelialization and improve the biological functions of hESCs via activating the EGF/EGFR/ERK signaling pathway.Bingmin Li Haowen Tang Xiaowei Bian Kui Ma Jiang Chang Xiaobing Fu Cuiping Zhang 2021Burns & Trauma2021,9,1:3
4Extrarenal Wilms’ Tumor of the Female Genital System:A Case Report and Literature Review显示文摘Extrarenal Wilms’ Tumors (ERWTs) are rare. There have been only 25 cases of ERWT arising from the female genital system reported in the literature. In this paper, we report a 60-year-old woman with a complaint of vaginal bleeding and a polypoid mass in the uterine cavity by sonography that was demonstrated as ERWT by pathology after resection. 5Tidal Asymmetry Changes in a Shallow Mud Estuary by a Restoration Project显示文摘The tidal asymmetry-induced siltation below tidal barriers is a worldwide problem that restricts regional socio-economic and environmental development. The hydrodynamic processes of the small mud estuary also feature a high uncertainty after estuary restoration measures. In this study, a hydrodynamic model based on the MIKE21 is used to quantify the responses of tidal asymmetry to a two-phase restoration project in Shuanglong Estuary, Bohai Bay, China. According to the numerical modeling results, the tidal flat removal in the upper estuary(first-phase restoration) induces the flood asymmetry switching to the ebb asymmetry in unrestored reach but enhances flood asymmetry in widening restored reach. Although the tidal asymmetry reverts to flood-dominated pattern after full restoration over the estuary, the imbalance between flood and ebb velocities is relieved. A possible net sediment transport pattern based on a comparison of dominant asymmetric current and actual sediment transport period shows net sediments in the upper estuary and inlet transport seaward and landward, respectively, in the first-phase restoration, whereas landward net sediment transport occurs in the whole estuary under the second-phase restoration scenario. Given these results, we assume that a switch from the flood-dominated estuary to ebb-dominated estuary can be caused by redesigning the cross-sectional profile. The quantitative comparison of Lagrangian residual currents also implies that a channel–shoal structure rather than a flat bathymetry can promote the mass transport. 7Inhibition of Breast Cancer Resistance Protein(BCRP) by Ko143 Can Affect Pharmacokinetics of Enrofloxacin in Exopalaemon carinicauda显示文摘Adenosine triphosphate-binding cassette transporter breast cancer resistance protein(BCRP) exists highly in the apical membranes of epithelia, and is involved in drug availability. Ko143 is a typical inhibitor of BCRP in rodents. The synthetic antibacterial agent enrofloxacin(ENRO) is a fluoroquinolone employed as veterinary and aquatic medicine, and also a substrate for BCRP. BCRP gene highly expressed in the hepatopancreas and intestine of Exopalaemon carinicauda as was determined with real-time quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-q PCR) method. The effects of Ko143 on the abundance of BCRP m RNA and ENRO pharmacokinetics in E. carinicauda were studied. The m RNA abundance of BCRP decreased significantly in hepatopancreas and intestine(P < 0.05) after Ko143 treatment. Co-administration of Ko143 significantly changed the pharmacokinetics of orally administered enrofloxacin, which was supported by higher distribution half-life(t_(1/2α)), elimination half-life(t_(1/2β)), area under the curve up to the last measurable concentration(AUC_(0-t)), peak concentration(C_(max)) and lower clearance(CL/F). These findings revealed that Ko143 downregulates BCRP expression in hepatopancreas and intestine, thus affects the pharmacokinetics of orally administered enrofloxacin in E. carinicauda. 13Purification and Refolding of a Novel β-Agarase from Inclusion Body of E. coli显示文摘β-agarase AgaB appears to represent a new family of glycoside hydrolase; it is structurally and functionally different from other known agarases. In the present study, AgaB was expressed with a temperature-inducible expression system in E. coli BL21 (DE3) as a fusion protein bearing a C-terminal hexahistidine tag. The protein existed mainly in the form of inclusion body. After being washed and solubilized, AgaB in inclusion body was denatured and purified to electrophoretic purity by immobilized metal affinity chromatography. The purified AgaB was then refolded using a simple pulse dilution method, and the refolded AgaB showed a high specific hydrolysis activity of about 1600 units /mg protein. 14Two-phase flow in anode flow field of a small direct methanol fuel cell in different gravities显示文摘An in-situ visualization of two-phase flow inside anode flow bed of a small liquid fed direct methanol fuel cells in normal and reduced gravity has been conducted in a drop tower.The anode flow bed con-sists of 11 parallel straight channels.The length,width and depth of single channel,which had rec-tangular cross section,are 48.0,2.5 and 2.0mm,respectively.The rib width was 2.0mm.The experi-mental results indicated that when the fuel cell orientation is vertical,two-phase flow pattern in anode channels can evolve from bubbly flow in normal gravity into slug flow in microgravity.The size of bub-bles in the reduced gravity is also bigger.In microgravity,the bubbles rising speed in vertical channels is obviously slower than that in normal gravity.When the fuel cell orientation is horizontal,the slug flow in the reduced gravity has almost the same characteristic with that in normal gravity.It implies that the effect of gravity on two-phase flow is small and the bubbles removal is governed by viscous drag.When the gas slugs or gas columns occupy channels,the performance of liquid fed direct methanol fuel cells is failing rapidly.It infers that in long-term microgravity,flow bed and operating condition should be optimized to avoid concentration polarization of fuel cells.GUO Hang WU Feng YE Fang ZHAO JianFu WAN ShiXin LüCuiPing MA ChongFang 2009Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,6:1
15Novel neutrophil extracellular trap-related mechanisms in diabetic wounds inspire a promising treatment strategy with hypoxia-challenged small extracellular vesicles显示文摘Neutrophil extracellular traps(NETs)have been considered a significant unfavorable factor for wound healing in diabetes,but the mechanisms remain unclear.The therapeutic application of small extracellular vesicles(sEVs)derived from mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)has received considerable attention for their properties.Hypoxic preconditioning is reported to enhance the therapeutic potential of MSC-derived sEVs in regenerative medicine.Therefore,the aim of this study is to illustrate the detailed mechanism of NETs in impairment of diabetic wound healing and develop a promising NET-targeting treatment based on hypoxic pretreated MSC-derived sEVs(Hypo-sEVs).Excessive NETs were found in diabetic wounds and in high glucose(HG)-induced neutrophils.Further research showed that high concentration of NETs impaired the function of fibroblasts through activating endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress.Hypo-sEVs efficiently promoted diabetic wound healing and reduced the excessive NET formation by transferring miR-17-5p.Bioinformatic analysis and RNA interference experiment revealed that miR-17-5p in Hypo-sEVs obstructed the NET formation by targeting TLR4/ROS/MAPK pathway.Additionally,miR-17-5p overexpression decreased NET formation and overcame NET-induced impairment in fibroblasts,similar to the effects of Hypo-sEVs.Overall,we identify a previously unrecognized NET-related mechanism in diabetic wounds and provide a promising NET-targeting strategy for wound treatment.Ziqiang Chu Qilin Huang Kui Ma Xi Liu Wenhua Zhang Shengnan Cui Qian Wei Huanhuan Gao Wenzhi Hu Zihao Wang Sheng Meng Lige Tian Haihong Li Xiaobing Fu Cuiping Zhang 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,9:1

17乳腺癌新辅助化疗前后HER-2表达的变化(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of this study was to study changes of HER-2 expression after neoadjuvant chemotherapy in the breast cancer cases.Methods:One hundred and thirty-seven female patients with primary breast cancers,who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy,underwent core needle puncture and Mammotome biopsy before chemotherapy,and the biopsy results were used as the basis of histological diagnosis,fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) was performed to test HER2 status of tumor tissues before and after chemotherapy.All patients underwent FEC,TE,or AC neoadjuvant chemotherapy of 2-6 cycles before surgery.Results:Twenty-two patients were positive according to FISH test among 137 preoperative patients,8 patients achieved pathological complete remission after chemotherapy (three HER-2 positive patients and five negative patients),91 patients achieved partial remission,24 patients were stable,and 14 cases were invalid.Twenty-two patients were positive according to FISH test (8 patients with pathological complete remission did not undergo test),and positive patients still expressed positively after chemotherapy before neoadjuvant chemotherapy.Three negative patients were converted to be positive,and changes before and after chemotherapy had no statistical difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:Neoadjuvant chemotherapy makes no influence on patients with HER-2 positive expression,while patients with negative expression can be converted to be positive,but without significant difference.Yaojun Feng Xinhong Wu Cuiping Pan Juan Xu Wei Zhong Jun Shao Biao Ma 2011The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2011,10,8:1

19Influence of Headland Breakwaters on Morphological Processes at Longfengtou Beach in Haitan Bay,Facing the Taiwan Strait显示文摘Breakwaters can be used as artificial headlands in beach nourishment to mitigate coastal erosion. Longfengtou Beach, located on the southwest coast of Haitan Bay facing the Taiwan Strait on the northeast, suffers severe erosion, where the monsoon causes significant season hydrodynamic variations. Headland breakwaters are intended to be employed to mitigate coastal erosion. A 2D sediment transport model is established using MIKE21 based on current-wave coupling and calibrated by measured data. Summer and winter wave conditions are chosen as characteristic weak and strong waves respectively. The numerical results of suspended sediment concentration and seasonal morphological evolution are compared under the conditions with and without the headland breakwaters. Sediment transport in summer can be regarded as mainly determined by current field, while in winter wave effect is strong enough to change current field. The northern breakwater, nearly perpendicular to the ebb current direction, obstructs the currents and decreases velocity of the ebb currents, and confines the water carrying sediments within the protection area during the flood period. The southern breakwater also breaks the waves in advance and significantly reduces the hydrodynamic effects during the flood period and maintains high suspended sediment concentration in the protection area. 20Epidemiological Investigation and Analysis of Major Viral Diseases of Pig Farms in Guangxi from 2019 to 2022显示文摘In order to understand the epidemic characteristics of major viral infectious diseases of pig farms in Guangxi from 2019 to 2022,the PCR and RT-PCR methods were applied to detect the pathogens of 1046 samples suspected CSFV(swine fever virus),PRRSV(porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus),PCV-2(porcine circovirus virus type 2),PCV-3(porcine circovirus virus type 3),PRV(pseudorabies virus),TGEV(transmissible gastroeneritis of pigs virus),PEDV(porcine epidemic diarrhea virus)and PoRV(porcine rotavirus)infections in recent four years,and epidemiological analysis was carried out.The results showed that positive rates of CSFV,PRRSV,PCV-2,PCV-3,PRV,TGEV,PEDV and PoRV were 3.91%(21/537),20.46%(143/699),29.90%(116/388),16.10%(81/503),27.75%(121/436),2.10%(8/381),28.50%(61/214)and 13.74%(18/131).The infection rates of PCV-2 and PEDV were decreasing year by year,while the infection rate of TGEV was increasing year by year.In single infection,the infection rates of PRV and PEDV were higher,with an average infection rate of 13.53%and 18.22%.In the mixed infection,the infection rate of PRRSV and PCV-2 was the highest,with an average infection rate of 11.34%.The second mixed infection rate was PEDV and PoRV,and the average infection rate was 8.05%.The infection rate of PCV-3 and PEDV was higher in spring,with 18.80%and 40.00%respectively.The infection rate of PRRSV,PCV-2,PRV,TGEV and PoRV was higher in winter,with 24.40%,40.57%,37.30%,3.23%and 19.44%respectively.The results showed that PRRSV,PCV-2,PRV and PEDV were the main viral diseases with serious damage to pig farms in Guangxi.It was necessary to strengthen pathogen monitoring and improve comprehensive prevention and control ability,in order to reduce the incidence of disease and economic losses.Bi ZHANG Cuiping YUAN Changliang LIANG Jiajia ZENG Yuyi MA Huili HE 2023Meteorological and Environmental Research2023,14,3:0
