2Prediction of cervical lymph node metastases in papillary thyroid microcarcinoma by sonographic features of the primary site显示文摘Objective: To study the sonographic features of the primary site of papillary thyroid microcarcinoma(PTMC) for the prediction of cervical lymph node metastasis during preoperative diagnosis.Methods: A total of 710 PTMC patients between 2013 and 2016 with a diagnosis of cervical lymph node metastases were reviewed.We analyzed the sonographic features of the PTMC primary site to predict ipsilateral or central lymph node metastases in univariate and multivariate models.The ratio of abutment/perimeter of the PTMC primary site was utilized to evaluate cervical lymph node status.Results: Regarding clinical characteristics, multifocality and extrathyroidal extension were associated with cervical lymph node involvement.In the multivariate regression model, calcification and the abutment/perimeter ratio of lesions were evaluated as independent factors in level Ⅵ, ipsilateral or skip cervical lymph node metastases.The cut-off value of the ratio of abutment/perimeter of the PTMC primary site(25%) was significantly correlated with cervical lymph node metastases(P = 0.000).Conclusions: Independent sonographic features, including lesion size, lesion location, calcification, and the ratio of abutment/perimeter of the primary site, were associated with cervical lymph node metastases in PTMC patients.Xi Wei Meng Wang Xiaoqing Wang Xiangqian Zheng Ying Li Yi Pan Yueguo Li Jiali Mu Yang Yu Dapeng Li Ming Gao Sheng Zhang 2019Cancer Biology & Medicine2019,16,3:22

4APC and K-ras gene mutation in aberrant crypt foci of human colon显示文摘AIM To study the genetic alteration in ACF andto define the possibility that ACF may be a veryearly morphological lesion with molecularchanges, and to explore the relationshipbetween ACF and colorectal adenoma evencarcinoma.METHODS DNA from 35 CRC, 15 adenomas, 34ACF and 10 normal mucus was isolated by meansof microdissection. Direct gene sequencing of K-ras gene including codon 12, 13 and 61 as well asthe mutation cluster region (MCR) of APC genewas performed.RESULTS K-ras gene mutation frequency inACF, adenoma and carcinoma was 17.6% (6/34), 13.3% (2/ 15), and 14.3% (5/ 35)respectively, showing no difference ( P > 0.05)in K-fas gene mutation among three pathologicprocedures. The K-ras gene mutation inadenoma, carcinoma and 4 ACF restricted incodon 12 (GGT→GAT), but the other 2 mutationsfrom ACF located in codon 13 (GGC→GAC). K-res gene mutation was found more frequently inolder patients and patients with polypoidcancer. No mutation in codon 61 was found in thethree tissue types. Mutation rate of APO gene inadenoma and carcinoma was 22.9% (8/35) and26.7% (4/ 15), which was higher than ACF(2.9%) (P < 0.05). APC gene mutation incarcinoma was not correlated with age ofpatients, location, size and differentiation oftumor.CONCLUSION ACF might be a very earlymorphological lesion in the tumorogenesis ofcolorectal tumor. The morphological feature andgene mutation status was different in ACF andadenoma. ACF is possibly putative'microadenoma' that might be the precursor ofadenoma. 5Effect of different concentrations of surfactant on the wettability of coal by molecular dynamics simulation显示文摘Anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate(SDBS)at varying concentrations was selected to investigate the influence on the wettability of Zhaozhuang Coal by molecular dynamics simulation.Six groups of water/surfactant/coal systems with different concentrations were constructed.The influence of surfactant with different concentrations on the wettability of coal was concluded by analyzing various properties from the energetic behaviors to the dynamic characteristics.The results show that the interfacial tension decreases sharply and then rises slowly with the increase of SDBS surfactant concentration,obtaining that surfactants can obviously reduce the interfacial tension.The surfactant molecules could be detected at the water/coal interface through analyzing the system’s relative concentration distribution.In addition,the difference in the wettability of surfactants on coal surfaces is caused by the spatial distribution differences of alkyl chains and the benzene ring of the surfactant molecules.And the negative interaction energy between SDBS and the coal surface indicates that adsorption process is spontaneous.Furthermore,it is of great practical significance for improving the dust reduction effect and reducing the disaster of coal dust by exploring the effects of surfactant molecules on the wettability of coal.Junqing Meng Feifei Yin Shichao Li Ruquan Zhong Zeyuan Sheng Baisheng Nie 2019International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2019,29,4:20

10Report on Childhood Obesity in China (10): Association of Sleep Duration with Obesity显示文摘Objectives To explore the association of sleep duration with obesity among children in urban areas of China.Methods A total of 6 576 children(3 293 boys and 3 283 girls) aged 7-11 years were randomly selected from 36 primary schools in 6 metropolitan cities in China.A 7-day Physical Activity Recall was used to assess the sleep duration and physical activity level.The height,weight,waist circumference(WC) and percentage of body fat(%BF,as determined by bioelectrical impedance analysis technique) were measured by following the standardized operation procedures.The information on demography,lifestyle and eating habits was collected with a self-administered questionnaire from participants and their parents.Results The average sleep duration per night in the children was 9.7 h with the decreasing trends along with the increase of age(P<0.05).The sleep duration was negatively associated with body mass index(BMI) and WC in both boys and girls after adjustment for confounders(β value-0.23 and-0.82 for boys,-0.24 and-0.91 for girls,respectively,P<0.01).However,no significant association of sleep duration with %BF was found.Children who slept less than 9.0 h per night had a higher risk for overweight and obesity(OR=1.29,95% CI:1.01,1.64) and abdominal obesity(OR=1.38,95% CI:1.04,1.83) as compared with those who slept for 10.0-10.9 h.Conclusions Short sleep duration is associated with obesity.It is important to ensure adequate sleep duration of children and foster their healthy lifestyle at an early stage of life.MENG Li Ping LIUAi Ling HU Xiao Qi ZHANG Qian DU Song Ming FANG Hong Yun MA Jun XU Gui Fa LI Ying GUO Hong Wei DU Lin MA Guan Sheng 2012Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2012,25,2:16

12Inner wrinkling control in hydrodynamic deep drawing of an irregular surface part using drawbeads显示文摘Inner wrinkling phenomenon is more likely to develop during hydrodynamic deep drawing(HDD) of complicated component-forms due to the higher demand for controlling deformation sequences. Aiming at the problems in control of inner wrinkling for an irregular surface part featured with both concavity and convex, this research proposes an optimal design method of drawbead parameters to change the material flow. According to theoretical analysis of the mechanism of inner wrinkling, optimizing cavity pressure only is unreasonable to form a wrinkle-free deep-drawn part,so semi-circular drawbeads are employed. The effects of layout and height of drawbeads on forming results are discussed, and a process window is established based on evaluation indicators including the anti-wrinkle coefficient and the minimum wall thickness. Experiments are carried out to validate the process window, and the wall thickness and the wrinkle height are measured and compared with numerical findings. 13VdPKS1 is required for melanin formation and virulence in a cotton wilt pathogen Verticillium dahliae显示文摘Verticillium dahliae is a soil-borne phytopathogenic fungus that causes vascular wilt disease in a broad range of hosts.This pathogen survives for many years in soil in the form of melanized microsclerotia.To investigate the melanin synthesis in V.dahliae,we identified a polyketide synthase gene in V.dahliae,namely VdPKS1.PKS1 is known to involve in the dihydroxynaphthalene melanin synthesis pathway in many fungi.We found that VdPKS1 was required for melanin formation but not for microsclerotial production in V dahliae.The VdPKS1 gene-disruption mutant (vdpksl) formed melanin-deficient albino microsclerotia,which did not affect the fungal colonization in host tissues but significantly reduced the disease severity.Gene transcription analysis in the wild-type and the vdpksl strains suggested that VdPKS1 gene-disruption influenced the expression of a series of genes involved in ethylene biosynthesis,microsclerotial formation and pathogenesis.Our results suggest that the VdPKS1-mediated melanin synthesis is important for virulence and developmental traits of V.dahliae.Ting Zhang Bosen Zhang Chenlei Hua Pei Meng Sheng Wang Zhirong Chen Yejuan Du Feng Gao Jiafeng Huang 2017Science China(Life Sciences)2017,60,8:14

15Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. 17The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. 18Indocyanine Green Nanoparticles for Theranostic Applications显示文摘Theranostics is a concept that integrated imaging and therapy. As an emerging field, it embraces multiple techniques to arrive at an individualized treatment purpose. Indocyanine green(ICG) is a near infrared dye that has been approved by Food and Drug Administration(FDA) in USA for the use in indicator-dilution studies in humans. ICG nanoparticles(NPs) have attracted much attention for its potential applications in cancer theranostics. This review focuses on the preparation, application of ICG NPs for in vivo imaging(fluorescent imaging and photoacoustic imaging) and therapeutics(photothermal therapy, photodynamic therapy and photoacoustic therapy), and future directions based on recent developments in these areas. 20Repeatability and Reproducibility of Quantitative Assessment of the Retinal Microvasculature Using Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography Based on Optical Microangiography显示文摘Objective The aim of this study was to determine the repeatability and reproducibility of optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA) based on optical microangiography(OMAG) measurements of macular vessels in normal eyes. Methods In this prospective cohort study, 40 eyes of 40 healthy volunteers underwent repeated OCTA(Cirrus HD-OCT 5000 angiography system, Carl Zeiss Meditec, Inc.) scans on two separate visit days. On each visit day, the eyes were scanned three times. The following parameters were used to quantitatively describe the OCTA images of the superficial vascular network: vessel area density(VAD), vessel skeleton density(VSD), vessel diameter index(VDI), vessel perimeter index(VPI), vessel complexity index(VCI), flux, and foveal avascular zone(FAZ). Coefficient of variation(CV) and intraclass correlation coefficient(ICC) were calculated for evaluating intravisit and intervisit repeatability, as well as interobserver reproducibility. Results The measurements showed high repeatability [CVs ≤ 4.2%(intravisit) and ≤ 4.6%(intervisit)] and interobserver reproducibility(ICCs ≥ 0.923) for all parameters.
