Rice Expression Database(RED):An integrated RNA-Seq-derived gene expression database for rice显示文摘Rice is one of the most important stable food as well as a monocotyledonous model organism for the plant research community. Here,we present RED(Rice Expression Database;http://gffzzd1bc3ab4bbbc4005h9ccx6fkkcfbw69cb.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn),an integrated database of rice gene expression profiles derived entirely from RNA-Seq data.RED features a comprehensive collection of 284 high-quality RNA-Seq experiments, integrates a large number of gene expression profiles and covers a wide range of rice growth stages as well as various treatments.Based on massive expression profiles,RED provides a list of housekeeping and tissue-specific genes and dynamically constructs co-expression networks for gene(s) of interest.Besides,it provides user-friendly web interfaces for querying, browsing and visualizing expression profiles of concerned genes.Together,as a core resource in BIG Data Center,RED bears great utility for characterizing the function of rice genes and better understanding important biological processes and mechanisms underlying complex agronomic traits in rice.Lin Xia Dong Zou Jian Sang Xingjian Xu Hongyan Yin Mengwei Li Shuangyang Wu Songnian Hu Lili Hao Zhang Zhang 2017Journal of Genetics and Genomics2017,44,5:12
Inhibitory Activity of Honeysuckle Extracts against Influenza A Virus In Vitro and In Vivo显示文摘Honeysuckle has been used in the treatment of influenza virus infection for thousands of years in China. However, its main active components and the functional mechanisms remain to be elucidated. Here, four honeysuckle extracts, including acids extract, flavonoids extract, total extract and acids-flavonoids mixture, were prepared to clarify the main active antiviral components. The cytopathic effect reduction assay showed that all the four extracts inhibited the replication of influenza viruses H1N1,H3N2 and the oseltamivir-resistant mutant strain H1N1-H275Y.The acids-flavonoids mixture had the strongest inhibitory effects in vitro with EC_(50) values of 3.8,4.1,and >20 lg/m L against H1N1,H3N2 and H1N1-H275Y,respectively,showing competitive antiviral activity with oseltamivir and ribavirin.Honeysuckle acids extract also showed the most significant antiviral activity in vivo.Oral administration of the acids extract at a dosage of 600 mg/kg/d effectively alleviated viral pneumonia, maintained body weight and improved the survival rate to 30% of the mice infected with a lethal dose of H1N1.The results of time-of-drug addition experiment and neuraminidase (NA) inhibition assay showed that honeysuckle extracts had a broad-spectrum inhibitory effect against influenza virus NAs.The flavonoid extract showed the strongest inhibitory effect on the NA of influenza virus H7N9 with an IC_(50) of 24.7 lg/m L.These results suggested that these extracts might exert their antiviral activity by suppressing the release of influenza viruses.Briefly, our findings demonstrate that acids and flavonoids extracts of honeysuckle are the major antiviral active components, and the acids extract has the potential to be developed into an antiviral agent against influenza virus, especially for oseltamivirresistant viruses.Mengwei Li Yuxu Wang Jing Jin Jie Dou Qinglong Guo Xue Ke Changlin Zhou Min Guo 2021Virologica Sinica2021,36,3:11
Cystathionine-γ-lyase ameliorates the histone demethylase JMJD3-mediated autoimmune response in rheumatoid arthritis显示文摘Cystathionine-γ-lyase(CSE),an enzyme associated with hydrogen sulfide(H2S)production,is an important endogenous regulator of inflammation.Jumonji domain-containing protein 3(JMJD3)is implicated in the immune response and inflammation. Here,we investigated the potential contribution of JMJD3 to endogenous CSE-mediated inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Upregulated CSE and JMJD3 were identified in synovial fibroblasts(SFs)from RA patients as well as in the joints of arthritic mice.Knocking down CSE augmented inflammation in IL-1β-induced SFs by increasing JMJD3 expression. In addition,CSE−/−mice with collagen-induced arthritis(CIA)developed severe joint inflammation and bone erosion.Conversely, overexpressing CSE inhibited JMJD3 expression by the transcription factor Sp-1 and was accompanied by reduced inflammation in IL-1β-treated SFs.Furthermore,JMJD3 silencing or the administration of the JMJD3 inhibitor GSK-J4 significantly decreased the inflammatory response in IL-1β-treated SFs,mainly by controlling the methylation status of H3K27me3 at the promoter of its target genes.GSK-J4 markedly attenuated the severity of arthritis in CIA mice.In conclusion, suppressing JMJD3 expression by the transcription factor Sp-1 is likely responsible for the ability of CSE to negatively modulate the inflammatory response and reduce the progression of RA.Weijun Wu Ming Qin Wanwan Jia Zheng Huang Zhongzheng Li Di Yang Mengwei Huang Chenxi Xiao Fen Long Jianchun Mao Philip K.Moore Xinhua Liu Yi Zhun Zhu 2019Cellular & Molecular Immunology2019,16,8:9
Inositol Pyrophosphate lnsP8 Acts as an Intracellular Phosphate Signal in Arabidopsis显示文摘The maintenance of cellular phosphate(Pi)homeostasis is of great importance in living organisms. The SPX domain-containing protein 1(SPX1)proteins from both Arabidopsis and rice have been proposed to act as sensors of Pi status. The molecular signal indicating the cellular Pi status and regulating Pi homeostasis in plants, however, remains to be identified,as Pi itself does not bind to the SPX domain. Here,we report the identification of the inositol pyrophosphate lnsP8 as a signaling molecule that regulates Pi homeostasis in Arabidopsis.Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis profiling of InsPs revealed that lnsP8 level positively correlates with cellular Pi concentration. We demonstrated that the homologs of diphosphoinositol pentaki-sphosphate kinase(PPIP5K),VIH1 and VIH2,function redundantly to synthesize lnsP8,and that the vih1 vih2 double mutant overaccumulates Pi.SPX1 directly interacts with PHR1,the central regulator of Pi starvation responses,to inhibit its function under Pi-replete conditions. However, this interaction is compromised in the vih1 vih2 double mutant, resulting in the constitutive induction of Pi starvation-induced genes, indicating that plant cells cannot sense cellular Pi status without lnsP8.Furthermore,we showed that lnsP8 could directly bind to the SPX domain of SPX1 and is essential for the interaction between SPX1 and PHR1.Collectively,our study suggests that lnsP8 is the intracellular Pi signaling molecule serving as the ligand of SPX1 for controlling Pi homeostasis in plants.Jinsong Dong Guojie Ma Liqian Sui Mengwei Wei Viswanathan Satheesh Ruyue Zhang Shenghong Ge Jinkai Li Tong-En Zhang Christopher Wittwer Henning JJessen Huiming Zhang Guo-Yong An Dai-Yin Chao Dong Liu Mingguang Lei 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,11:8
Trends in insulin resistance:insights into mechanisms and therapeutic strategy显示文摘The centenary of insulin discovery represents an important opportunity to transform diabetes from a fatal diagnosis into a medically manageable chronic condition.Insulin is a key peptide hormone and mediates the systemic glucose metabolism in different tissues.Insulin resistance(IR)is a disordered biological response for insulin stimulation through the disruption of different molecular pathways in target tissues.Acquired conditions and genetic factors have been implicated in IR.Recent genetic and biochemical studies suggest that the dysregulated metabolic mediators released by adipose tissue including adipokines, cytokines, chemokines, excess lipids and toxic lipid metabolites promote IR in other tissues.IR is associated with several groups of abnormal syndromes that include obesity, diabetes, metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD),cardiovascular disease, polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS),and other abnormalities.Although no medication is specifically approved to treat IR,we summarized the lifestyle changes and pharmacological medications that have been used as efficient intervention to improve insulin sensitivity.Ultimately, the systematic discussion of complex mechanism will help to identify potential new targets and treat the closely associated metabolic syndrome of IR.Mengwei Li Xiaowei Chi Ying Wang Sarra Setrerrahmane Wenwei Xie Hanmei Xu 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,8:5

Late Holocene mangrove development and response to sea level change in the northwestern South China Sea显示文摘Mangroves, widely distributed along the coasts of tropical China, are influenced by Asia monsoon, relative sea level change and enhanced human activity. To predict the impacts of future climate change on mangrove ecosystems,it can be understood by reconstructing past mangrove dynamics using proxies preserved in coastal sediments. In this study,we quantitatively partitioned buried organic matter(OM)sources, collected from a vulnerable mangrove swamp in the Qinzhou Bay of northwestern South China Sea,using a ternary end-member mixing model of δ^13C and C:N values.Mangrove-derived OM(MOM)contribution was used as a tracer for mangrove development since 2.34 cal ka BP.This information, together with paleoclimate records(i.e.,speleothem δ^18O values, sea level change, grain size parameters)and human activity, was used to divide mangrove development into three stages during the late Holocene:relative flourish(2.34-1.13 cal ka BP),relative degradation(1.13-0.15 cal ka BP)and further degradation(0.15-0 cal ka BP).Before 1.13 cal ka BP,mangroves flourished with a high MOM contribution((88.9±10.6)%),corresponding to stable and high sea level under a warm and humid climate. After 1.13 cal ka BP,rapid fall in relative sea level coupled with the strengthening of the Asian winter monsoon, resulted in mangrove degradation and MOM reduction((62.4±18.9)%).Compared with air temperature and precipitation, the relative sea level fall was the main controlling factor in mangrove development before entering the Anthropocene(the time of the Industrial Revolution).After^150 cal a BP,reclamation of mangrove swamps to shrimp ponds is the main factor causing mangrove degradation and MOM reduction.Peng Xia Xianwei Meng Zhen Li Pengyao Zhi Mengwei Zhao Enkang Wang 2019Acta Oceanologica Sinica2019,38,11:4
Effect of Mischmetal Addition on Catalytic Performance of PtSnNa/ZSM-5 for Propane Dehydrogenation显示文摘The influence of mischmetal addition on physicochemical properties of PtSnNa/ZSM-5 catalyst was studied by means of XRF,H 2 chemisorption,XRD,TPR,NH 3-TPD and TPO techniques. The results showed that the presence of mischmetal had an obvious impact on the catalytic performance of the PtSnNa/ZSM-5 catalyst.A suitable content of mischmetal not only could enhance the interactions between Pt species and the support, but also inhibit the formation of coke during the reaction, thus improving the catalytic activity and stability. In our experiments, when the content of mischmetal was 3m%,the catalyst exhibited best catalytic performance. However, the continuous addition of mischmetal could promote the reduction of Sn species to metallic tin, which was disadvantageous to the reaction.Xue Mengwei Zhou Yuming Huang Li Zhang Yiwei Duan Yongzheng Sheng Xiaoli 2011China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2011,13,3:4
Enzymology properties of two different xylanases and their impacts on growth performance and intestinal microflora of weaned piglets显示文摘The enzyme xylanase is more and more widely used in feed production, but different xylanase have different properties, mechanism and application effects. To provide a theoretical basis for choosing more suitable xylanase in feed production, we selected bacterial xylanase(BX), labeled enzyme A, and trichoderma xylanase(TX), labeled enzyme B, and studied the enzymology properties and application effects on growth performance and gut flora in weaned piglets. The results showed that the activity levels of both appear parabolic along with increasing pH or temperature, but the amplitude of enzyme activity changing curves and the pH/temperature of optimal activity level are different, where enzyme A has the optimal activity level at 50 ℃ with a pH value of 5.0. The optimal activity level of enzyme B was achieved at 70 ℃ with a pH around 6.0. Enzyme B suffered very little activity loss with moisture level at16% and temperature from 80℃ to 90 ℃. Enzyme A suffered a big drop in activity level when processed with high temperature from around 80 ℃ to 90 ℃, and it was even completely inactivated at 90 ℃,Enzyme A has very low activity level after being processed in acid environment, but enzyme B has minor changes in activity level with respect to changes in acid level, indicating significantly different enzymatic properties between the two different sources of xylanases. In feeding experiment, the control group, was fed the basal diet, and the BX group and TX group were fed basal diets supplemented with 0,01% bacterial and fungal xylanases, respectively. The results showed that ADG of the BX group and TX group increased by 3.25%(P> 0.05) and 8.22%(P < 0.05), respectively, and the feed conversion ratio decreased by 6.74% and 7.86%(P > 0.05), respectively compared with the control group; TX group had significantly higher(P < 0.05) ADG compared with BX group; BX group and TX group had significantly lower ileum Escherichia coli level than the control group, which were reduced by up to 12.98%(P < 0.05) and 11.68%(P < 0.05), respectively, but the ileal lactic acid bacteria levels were significantly increased by 16.21%(P < 0.01) and 27.02%(P < 0.01),respectively. There were no significant differences(P > 0.05) between BX group and TX group in terms of lactic acid bacteria E. coli level. We concluded that fungal xylanase(enzyme B) has better performances in improving weaned piglet growth and in increasing ileal lactic acid bacteria level compared with bacterial xylanase(enzyme A).Qinghua Chen Mengwei Li Xiong Wang 2016Animal Nutrition2016,,1:3
Ordered two-dimensional porous Co3O4 nanosheets as electrocatalysts for rechargeable Li-O2 batteries显示文摘Lithium-oxygen batteries have attracted considerable interest in the past a few years, because they have higher theoretical specific energy than Li-ion batteries. However, the available en ergy den sities of the Li-O2 batteries are much less than expected. It is particularly urgent to find catalyst with high activity. Herein, a series of Co3O4 with differe nt morphologies (ordered two-dimensio nal porous nano sheets, flowerlike and cuboidlike) were successfully prepared through facile hydrothermal and calcinatio n methods. Ordered two-dime nsional Co3O4 nano sheets show the best cycling stability. Detailed experimental results reveal that the superiority of the unique two-dimensional uniform porous structures is vital for Li-O2 batteries cathode catalysts. Due to the ordered structures with high surface areas and active sites, the catalysts indicate a high specific discharge capacity of about 10,417 mAh/g at a current density of 200 mA/g, and steadily cycle for more than 50 times with a limited capacity of 1,000 mAh/g.Yu Zhang Mingzhen Hu Mengwei Yuan Genban Sun Yufeng Li Kebin Zhou Chen Chen Caiyun Nan Yadong Li 2019Nano Research2019,12,2:3
Powder Quartz/Nano-TiO2 Composite: Mechanochemical Preparation and Photocatalytic Degradation of Formaldehyde显示文摘Powder quartz(PQ)/nano-TiO_2 composite was prepared by a mechanochemical method. Based on as-prepared PQ/nano-TiO_2 composite, we prepared interior paints and investigated the degradation efficiency of formaldehyde(DEF). Scanning electron microscopy showed that nano-TiO_2 got well dispersed by the adding of PQ. Thermogravimetric analysis indicated that the mass ratio of 4:1 was a relatively good proportion for the most production of PQ/nano-TiO_2 composite. Fourier transform-infrared spectrometry showed that the peak position of Ti-O-Si bond varied with the milling time. At the early stage, no characteristic peak of Ti-O-Si bond was observed, while at the later stage, new peaks at 902 cm^(-1) and 937 cm^(-1) appeared. Meanwhile, PQ/nano-TiO_2 composite-based interior paint exhibited significant DEF of 96.3% compared to that consisting of sole nanoTiO_2 of 92.0% under visible light illumination. As an abundant mineral resource, PQ would make interior paints with HCHO purifying effect much more efficient and cheaper.汪彬彬 邓跃全 何平 DONG Faqin DONG Mengwei DAI Ke ZHENG Guangya TIAN Hanxu LI Guanghua 2018Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2018,33,6:3
Ultrathin hexagonal boron nitride as a van der Waals, force initiator activated graphene for engineering efficient non-metal electrocatalysts of Li-CO_(2) battery显示文摘Reasonably regulating electronic coupling to promote charge transfer and exciton separation has been regarded a promising approach in catalysis. The material engineering of van der Waals heterojunction(vdWsH)based on two-dimensional(2D)materials would be a potential way to optimize the as-prepared extrinsic physicochemical characteristics. However,it was still an almost uncultivated land waiting for exploration in catalysis.Herein,we introduced the inert h-boron nitride(h-BN)in non-metal reduced graphene oxide(GN)catalysts and constructed BN-GN vdWsH.The theoretical calculation demonstrated that the h-BN can effectively modify the electronic properties of graphene. With the introduction of h-BN,the BN-GN vdWsH can obviously enhance the catalytic activity of Li-CO_(2) battery. The existence of BN-GN vdWsH can reduce the overpotential more than 700 mV compared with reduced graphene oxide during the CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)and CO_(2) evolution reaction(CO_(2)ER),and it extended cyclic stability more than three times, which was one structure design made it work as a high efficient electrocatalyst, catalytic materials.Zemin Sun Di Wang Liu Lin Yuhui Liu Mengwei Yuan Caiyun Nan Huifeng Li Genban Sun Xiaojing Yang 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:3
Role of Eclipta prostrata extract in improving spatial learning and memory deficits in D-galactose-induced aging in rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the role of Eclipta prostrata (E. prostrata) extract in improving spatial learning and memory deficits in D-galactose-induced aging in rats. METHODS: Rats were divided into five groups, with 10 animals in each group. Aging rats were produced by treatment with 100 mg·kg-1·d-1 of D-galactose for 6 weeks. Rats in the E. prostrata treatment groups received an aqueous extract of E. prostrata orally at a concentration of 50, 100, or 200 mg·kg-1· d-1 for 3 weeks. Animals in both the normal and model groups were treated with similar volumes of saline. Spatial memory performance was measured using the Morris water maze. The mRNA levels and enzyme activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GPx) and glutathione reductase (GR) were analyzed using real- time quantitative PCR and spectrophotometry, respectively. The levels of induced nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), nitric oxide (NO), dopamine (DA), norepinephrine (NE), and serotonin (5-HT) were determined using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and spectrophotometry. RESULTS: Compared with the normal group, rats in the D-galactose-treated model group exhibited significant memory loss. There was severe damage to the hippocampal CA1 area, and expression levels of SOD, CAT, GPx, and GR were significantly decreased in the model group compared with the normal group. In the model group, levels of iNOS and NO were significantly increased compared with the normal group. However, treatment with E. prostrata extract reversed the conditions caused by D-galactose- induced aging, especially in the groups with higher treatment concentrations. Compared with the normal group, the levels of DA, NE, and 5-HT were significantly lower in the D-galactose-treated model group. In the E. prostrata extract-treated groups, however, there was a dose-dependent upregulation of DA, NE, and 5-HT expression. CONCLUSION: Our results suggest that administration of E. prostrata extract can result in an improvement in the learning and memory impairments that are induced by D-galactose treatment in rats. This improvement may be the result of enhanced antioxidative ability, decreased iNOS and NO levels, and the induction of DA, NE, and 5-HT expression in the brain.Xia Xichao Yu Ruixue Wang Xiaowei Wei Mengwei Yi Li Wang Aimei Ma Yuhong Zhang Junfeng Ji Zhaohui Li Yuan Wang Qiong 2019Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2019,39,5:2
Effective electromechanical coupling coefficient of high-overtone bulk acoustic resonator显示文摘A high-overtone bulk acoustic resonator(HEAR) is composed of a substrate,a piezoelectric film and upper and lower electrodes, the influences of their structure parameter(thickness) and performance parameter(characteristic impedance) on effective electromechanical coupling coefficient K_(eff)~2 are investigated systematically. The relationship between K_(eff)~2 and these parameters is obtained by a lumped parameter equivalent circuit instead of distributed parameter equivalent circuit near the resonant frequency, and K_(eff)~2 at the resonance frequency closest to the given frequency is analyzed. The results show that K_(eff)~2 declines rapidly and oscillatorily with the continuous increase of the substrate thickness when the piezoelectric film thickness is fixed, and decreases inversely proportion to the thickness when the substrate thickness is greater than a certain value. With the ratio of the characteristic impedance of the substrate to the piezoelectric layer increasing, the maximum of K_(eff)~2 obtained from the variation curve of K_(eff)~2 with the continuous increase of the piezoelectric film thickness decreases rapidly before reaching the minimum value, and later increases slowly.Fused silica with low impedance is appropriate as the substrate of HBAR to get a larger K_(eff)~2.Compared with Al electrode,Au electrode can obtain larger K_(eff)~2 when the appropriate electrode thickness is selected. The revealed laws above mentioned provide the theoretical basis for optimizing parameters of HBAR.LI Jian WANG Chenghao LIU Mengwei 2017Chinese Journal of Acoustics2017,36,1:2

Ultralong cycle life enabled by in situ growth of CoMo_(1-x)P/Mo heterostructure for lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur batteries(Li-S batteries) are considered as promising new-generation electrochemical energy storage devices due to their extremely high theoretical energy density(2600 Wh kg-1) and theoretical specific capacity(1675 m Ah g^(-1)). However, numerous problems such as poor conductivity and the shuttle effect during discharge-charge process limit the practical application of lithium-sulfur batteries. In this work, porous tubular Co Mo_(1-x)P/Mo constructed by in situ growth of metal Mo was designed as the sulfur host for lithium-sulfur batteries. The introduction of Mo modulated the electronic structure of Co Mo P to improve the conductivity of cathode and facilitate the redox kinetics, as well as the Co Mo_(1-x)P/Mo heterostructure was beneficial to inhibit the shuttle effect through the interaction with lithium polysulfides, which improved cycling stability. As a result, Co Mo_(1-x)P/Mo/S cathode had a low-capacity decay rate of only 0.029% per cycle after 2000 cycles at 0.5 C. This work provided a new perspective for the further design of high-performance lithium-sulfur battery cathode materials.Donghua Guo Mengwei Yuan Xingzi Zheng Miaomiao Li Caiyun Nan Genban Sun Xianqiang Huang Huifeng Li 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,10:2
Advanced noble-metal-free bifunctional electrocatalysts for metal-air batteries显示文摘The sluggish reaction kinetics at the oxygen cathode is one of the important issues hindering the commercialization of the metal-air batteries.Although the noble metal can be used as the high-efficiency electrocatalyst to solve the problems to some extent, the high cost and scarcity of these noble-metal catalysts have limited their application in electrocatalysis. In this review,we discussed the mecha-nisms of the ORR and OER,and proposed the principles for the bifunctional electrocatalysts firstly, and then the state-of-the-art bifunctional catalysts, including carbon-based materials and transition-metal-based materials. On the basis of that, the self-supporting 3D noble-metal-free bifunctional ORR/OER catalysts were also discussed. Finally, the perspectives for the bifunctional electrocatalysts were discussed.Wenhao Tang Boya Li Kewei Teng Xiaodong Wang Ruiping Liu Mengwei Wu Lei Zhang Pengfei Ren Junqing Zhang Ming Feng 2022Journal of Materiomics2022,8,2:2
Mechanical quality factor of high-overtone bulk acoustic resonator显示文摘Mechanical quality factor Qm is a key characteristic parameter of High-overtone bulk acoustic resonator(HBAR). The effects of structure parameter(thickness) and perfor?mance parameters(characteristic impedance and mechanical attenuation factor) of substrate, piezoelectric film and electrode constituting HBAR on Qm are carried out. The relationships between Qm and these parameters are obtained by a lumped parameter equivalent circuit instead of distributed parameter equivalent circuit near the resonance frequency, and the an?alytical expressions oi Qm are given. The results show that Qm increases non-monotonically with the continuous increase of the substrate thickness for HBAR with certain piezoelectric film thickness, and it approaches to the substrate material mechanical quality factor as the substrate thickness is large. Qm decreases wavily with the continuous increase of the piezoelectric film thickness for HBAR with certain substrate thickness. Sapphire and YAG with low mechanical loss are appropriate as the substrate to get a larger Qm- The electrode loss must be considered since it can reduce Qm- Compared with Au electrode, A1 electrode with lower loss can obtain higher Qm when the appropriate electrode thickness is selected. In addition, Qm decreases with the increase of frequency. These results provide the theoretical basis for optimizing the parameters of HBAR and show that trade-oflFs between Qm and must be considered in the design because their changes are often inconsistent.LI Jian LIU Mengwei LI Junhong MA Jun WANG Chenghao 2016Chinese Journal of Acoustics2016,35,3:2
Experimental design and theoretical evaluation of nitrogen and phosphorus dual-doped hierarchical porous carbon for high-performance sodium-ion storage显示文摘Starch has a wide range of sources and can be used as a high-quality precursor for sodium-ion battery anode materials. However, the carbonization yield and specific capacity of carbon materials obtained by directly pyrolyzing starch are low.Herein, starch is used as the carbon source, and ammonium polyphosphate(APP)is used as the cross-linking agent and dopant to prepare a nitrogen and phosphorus co-doped porous carbon(NPPC).As the anode for sodium-ion batteries,NPPC-2 exhibits a high reversible capacity of 385.8 mAhg^(-1)at 50 mAg^(-1).Even after 1000 cycles at a large current density of 5 Ag^(-1),the reversible capacity can still be maintained at 126.9 mAhg^(-1).Based on detailed data and first-principles calculations, the excellent performance of NPPC is due to the effective doping of nitrogen and phosphorus elements, which distorts the graphite sheet, introduces defects, and increases the graphite layer spacing, thereby enhancing the adsorption capacity of the carbon material for sodium ions, reducing the diffusion barrier of sodium ions. This work provides a new idea for heteroatom doping and carbon material modification.Chen Chen Ying Huang Zhuoyue Meng Mengwei Lu Zhipeng Xu Panbo Liu Tiehu Li 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,17:2
Effect of electroacupuncture on E-prostanoid 2 expression in the spinal cord in rats with neuropathic pain显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) treatment on the expression of E-prostanoid 2(EP2) in the spinal cord using a rat model of neuropathic pain, and to examine the effect of different acupuncture prescriptions.METHODS: Rats were randomly divided into six groups: a normal group, model group, sham group,EA 1 group(distal-proximal acupoints), EA 2 group(proximal acupoints), and EA 3 group(distal acupoints). Rats in the EA groups were treated for20 min, once daily for 7 days. The mechanical withdrawal threshold was evaluated at 1 day preoperatively and at 3, 5, and 7 days postoperatively. At 7days postoperatively, hematoxylin-eosin(HE) staining was used to investigate spinal morphological changes. Spinal EP2 messenger ribonucleic acid(m RNA) was detected using reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction.RESULTS: After the EA treatment, the mechanical withdrawal threshold was up-regulated compared with the model group(P < 0.05). The expression of EP2 m RNA was up-regulated in the spinal cord on day 7 after surgery(P < 0.05). EA stimulation tended to down-regulate EP2 m RNA expression compared with the model group(P > 0.05). The EA 1and EA 2 groups showed a larger treatment effect than the EA 3 group. The HE results showed that EA can improve spinal histomorphology induced by neuropathic pain.CONCLUSION: EA had a strong analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. The therapeutic effect of EA on the down-regulation of spinal EP2 m RNA expression may be greater when either local acupoints or a distal-proximal combination of acupoints are used than when distal points are used.Ji Lili Jiang Huili Ren Xiujun Guo Mengwei Ge Dongyu Li Genmao Tu Ya 2017Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,4:1
