| 1 | Effect of Withdrawal Rates on Microstructure and Creep Strength of a Single Crystal Superalloy Processed by LMC显示文摘A nickel base single crystal (SC) superalloy was directionally solidified using liquid metal cooling (LMC) process at various withdrawal rates. The microstructure was refined as increasing the withdrawal rate from 3 to 12 mm/min. However, higher withdrawal rate of 15 mm/min induced the formation of stray grains. Size and volume fraction of the eutectics were found to decrease with the increasing in withdrawal rate. After solution heat treatment at 1250℃, un-dissolved eutectic was observed in specimens. High temperature creep rupture life was observed to be very sensitive to the fraction of these remaining eutectics. | 3 | Improved magnetostriction of Fe83Ga17 ribbons doped with Sm显示文摘In order to demonstrate that light rare-earth(RE)dopants with strong magnetocrystalline anisotropy, whose net moment couples are antiparallel to those of iron, can also induce giant magnetostriction in Gafenol, a light RE element Sm was selected as the third element to dope into Fe_(83)Ga_(17) alloy.(Fe_(83)Ga_(0.17))_(100-x) Sm_x(0≤x≤0.42) ribbons were prepared by melt spinning. The increase of the lattice parameters and saturation magnetization indicates that some Sm atoms enter the A2 matrix substitutionally. Doping the Fe_(83)Ga_(17) ribbons with the light RE Sm element drastically improves the magnetostriction. Perpendicular magnetostriction value of λ_⊥=-5*10^(-4)is achieved in(Fe_(83)Ga_(0.17))_(99.75)Sm_(0.25). It is confirmed that the stronger local magnetocrystalline anisotropy induces larger enhanced magnetostrictions. The greatly enhanced magnetostriction is somehow related to the local microstrains induced by the RE dopants. | 4 | Fabrication of highly efficient heterostructured Ag-CeO2/g-C3N4 hybrid photocatalyst with enhanced visible-light photocatalytic activity显示文摘On the basis of hydrothermal synthesis of Ag-CeO2 microspheres,Ag-CeO2/g-C3N4 composite photocatalyst with heterostructure was prepared by simple solvent evaporation of Ag-CeO2 and g-C3N4.To characterize the composition,structure,morphology and light absorption properties of the as-prepared Ag-CeO2/g-C3N4 composites,XRD,FTIR XPS,SEM,TEM,PL,BET and UV-vis DRS were used,respectively.The as-prepared photocatalyst was subjected to photocatalytic degradation of pollutants,and the prepared composite material has excellent photocatalytic activity for photodegradation of methylene blue(MB).The research shows that the photocatalytic properties of Ag-CeO2/g-C3N4 composites were related to the mass ratio of Ag-CeO2 microspheres and g-C3N4 nanosheets.When the ratio of Ag-CeO2 microspheres:g-C3N4 is 1:5,the composites have the highest photocatalytic activity,which was 9.6 and 3.3 times that of single Ag-CeO2 and g-C3N4,respectively.The improvement of photocatalytic activity is attributed to the heterostructure between the composite materials and the addition of noble metal silver,and the degradation of methylene blue by the visible light irradiation material is greatly improved.Finally,an attempt was made to analyze the principle of photocatalytic degradation of pollutants in prepared materials. | Chengbao Liu Dongxing Mao Jian Pan Junchao Qian Wenya Zhang Feng Chen Zhigang Chen Yenan Song | 2019 | Journal of Rare Earths2019,37,12: | 7 |

| 6 | Adsorption of phenol from aqueous solution by a hierarchical micro-nano porous carbon material显示文摘A hierarchical micro-nano porous carbon material (MNC) was prepared using expanded graphite (EG), sucrose, and phosphoric acid as raw materials, followed by sucrose-phosphoric acid solution impregnation, solidification, carbonization and activation. Nitrogen adsorption and mercury porosimetry show that mixed nanopores and micropores coexist in MNC with a high specific surface area of 1978 m2·g-1 and a total pore volume of 0.99 cm3·g-1. In addition, the MNC is found to consist of EG and activated carbon with the latter deposited on the interior and the exterior surfaces of the EG pores. The thickness of the activated carbon layer is calculated to be about one hundred nanometers and is further confirmed by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission election microscope (TEM). A maximum static phenol adsorption of 241.2 mg·g-1 was obtained by using MNC, slightly higher than that of 220.4 mg·g-1 by using commercial activated carbon (CAC). The phenol adsorption kinetics were investigated and the data fitted well to a pseudo-second-order model. Also, an intra-particle diffusion mechanism was proposed. Furthermore, it is found that the dynamic adsorption capacity of MNC is nearly three times that of CAC. | 9 | Efficacy and Safety of Yanggan Jian in Hepatitis B Virusrelated Decompensated Cirrhosis:A Randomized,Doubleblind,Controlled Trial显示文摘Background and Aims:The aim was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Yanggan Jian(YGJ)in HBV-infected patients with decompensated cirrhosis.Methods:This randomized,double-blind controlled trial enrolled 160 patients with HBV-related decompensated cirrhosis who were already receiving or about to start antiviral therapy.Patients were randomly assigned to receive YGJ or placebo for 24 weeks,and were followed-up to 36 weeks.The primary outcome was the proportion of patients with a≥2 point reduction in Child-Turcotte-Pugh(CTP)score from baseline at week 24.Secondary outcomes were CTP class and score,serum liver function indices,mortality,incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma and variceal bleeding.Results:The proportion of patients with a CTP score reduction≥2 was significantly greater in the YGJ than in the placebo group(p=0.009);the percentage of patients with CTP class C was significantly less than that in the placebo group(p<0.05),and the YGJ group had a significantly greater mean change from baseline in CTP score at week 24(p=0.034).The improvement in measured values and change from baseline of prothrombin time,serum albumin,platelets,cholinesterase,international normalized ratio,and activated partial thromboplastin time were significantly better with YGJ than with placebo.Between-group differences in cumulative rates of variceal bleeding,hepatocellular carcinoma,death,or the frequency of any adverse event(AE),AEs related to treatment,or discontinuation because of AEs were not significant.Conclusions:YGJ significantly improved CTP scores and hepatic synthetic and reserve function in patients with HBV-related decompensated cirrhosis,and was safe and well tolerated. | Long Chen Chaoqun Zhao Weili Yao Wei Liu Hua Zhang Yongping Mu Hong Cai Dongying Xue Chengbao Wang Wan’e Wang Yuehong Lin Jiamei Chen Ping Liu | 2023 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2023,11,1: | 3 |

Owing to its unique hierarchical structure and periodic meso-macro scale features, the obtained CeO2 exhibits high catalytic activity in CO oxidation. | 11 | Effects of Composition and Thermal Cycle on Transformation Behaviors,Thermal Stability and Mechanical Properties of CuAlAg Alloy显示文摘The phase transformation behavior, mechanical properties, and the thermal stability of CuAlAg alloy were studied andminor rare earth (0.1 wt pct La+Ce) was added to improve the mechanical property of the studied alloy. It was foundthat Ag addition in the CuAl binary alloy can improve the stability of martensitic transformation and high Al contentleads to the disappearing of martensitic transformation. The tensile strength and strain of the Cu-10.6Al-5.8Ag (wtpct) alloy were measured to be 383.5 MPa and 0.86%, respectively. With rare earth addition, the tensile strainincreased from 0.86% to 1.47%. The CuAlAg alloy did not exhibit martensitic transformation on the second heatingprocess. | 15 | Fast CO_(2) Retrieval Using a Semi-Physical Statistical Model for the High-Resolution Spectrometer on the Fengyun-3D Satellite显示文摘China’s Fengyun-3D meteorological satellite launched in December 2016 carries the high-resolution greenhouse-gases absorption spectrometer(GAS)aimed at providing global observations of carbon dioxide(CO_(2)).To date,GAS is one of the few instruments measuring CO_(2) from the near-infrared spectrum.On orbit,the oxygen(O_(2))A band suffers a disturbance,and the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)is significantly lower than the nominal specification.This leads to difficulties in the retrieval of surface pressure and hence a degradation of the retrieval of the column-averaged CO_(2) dry air mole fraction(XCO_(2))if a full physics retrieval algorithm is used.Thus,a fast CO_(2) inverse method,named semi-physical statistical algorithm,was developed to overcome this deficiency.The instrument characteristics,the semi-physical statistical algorithm,and the results of comparison with ground-based measurements over land were introduced in this paper.XCO_(2) can be obtained from three bands,namely,the O_(2) A,weak CO_(2),and strong CO_(2) bands,with compensation from the Medium Resolution Spectral Imager-2(MERSI-2)products,ECMWF Reanaly-sis v5(ERA-5)data,and Total Carbon Column Observing Network(TCCON)data.The eigenvectors of covariance matrices and the least square fits were used to derive retrieval coefficients and yield cloud-free solutions.In addition to the GAS radiance,some key factors necessary for the accurate estimations of XCO_(2) were also taken as input information(e.g.,air mass,surface pressure,and a priori XCO_(2)).The global GAS XCO_(2) restricted over land was compared against the simultaneously collocated observations from TCCON.The retrieval algorithm can mitigate the issue caused by the low SNR of the O_(2) A band to a certain extent.Overall,through site-by-site comparisons,GAS XCO_(2) agreed well with the average precision(1σ)of 1.52 ppm and bias of−0.007 ppm.The seasonal variation trends of GAS XCO_(2) can be clearly seen at TCCON sites on the 1-yr timescale. | Yanmeng BI Peng ZHANG Zhongdong YANG Qian WANG Xingying ZHANG Chengbao LIU Pengmei XU Lizhou HOU Junyu KE Naiqiang ZHANG | 2022 | Journal of Meteorological Research2022,36,2: | 2 |

| 17 | Characterization and adsorption behaviors of a novel synthesized mesoporous silica coated carbon composite显示文摘A novel mesoporous silica coated carbon composite(denoted SEG) with hierarchical pore structure has been successfully prepared in an aqueous solution that contains triblock copolymer template, aluminum chloride, siliceous source and expanded graphite. Textural property and morphology of the SEG composite were characterized by the combination of X-ray diffraction, N_2 adsorption–desorption, scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared measurements. Results show that mesoporous silica is steadily and uniformly grown on the surface of the graphite slices and the thickness of the silica layer can be finely tuned according to the silica/C molar ratio in the initial reaction solution. This newly synthesized SEG composite shows greatly increased adsorption capacity to methylene blue than the pristine expanded graphite in the batch tests. Both Langmuir and Frendlich models were further used to evaluate the adsorption isotherms of methylene blue over expanded graphite and SEG samples with different silica contents.
