1Synergistic catalytic removals of NO,CO and HC over CeO_2 modified Mn-Mo-W-O_x/TiO_2-SiO_2 catalyst显示文摘A series of Mn-Mo-W-O_x/TiO_2-SiO_2 catalysts was modified with CeO_2 using an extrusion molding method. The catalytic activities of the obtained catalysts were tested for the synergistic catalytic removals of CO, NO and C_3H_8. The ratio of catalyst composition on catalytic activities for NH_3-SCR was optimized, which reveals that the molar ratio of Ti/Si was 9:1 and the catalyst containing 1.5 wt% CeO_2 and 12 wt% Mn-Mo-W-O_x exhibits the best catalytic performances. These samples were characterized by XRD, N_2-BET, Py-IR, NH_3-TPD, SEM/element mapping, H_2-TPR and XPS, respectively. Results show that the optimal catalyst exhibits more than 99% NO conversion, 86% CO conversion and 100% C_3H_8 conversion under GHSV of 5000 h^(-1). In addition, the GHSV has little influence on removal of NO when it is less than 15,000 h^(-1). Furthermore, the addition of CeO_2 will enhance the surface acidity, increase Mn^(4+)concentration and inhibit the grain growth, which are favorable for the excellent catalytic performance.Anyway,the 1.5 wt% CeO_2-12 wt% Mn-Mo-W-O_x/TiO_2-SiO_2 possesses outstanding redox properties,abundant acid sites and high Mn^(4+) concentration, which provide a guarantee for synergistic catalytic removal of CO, NO and HC.Qijie Jin Yuesong Shen Guorong Sui Xingjun Tao Youchun Pan Shemin Zhu 2018Journal of Rare Earths2018,36,2:11

3Defined tumor antigen-specific T cells potentiate personalized TCR-T cell therapy and prediction of immunotherapy response显示文摘Personalized immunotherapy targeting tumor-specific antigens(TSAs)could generate efficient and safe antitumor immune response without damaging normal tissues.Although neoantigen vaccines have shown therapeutic effect in clinic trials,precise prediction of neoantigens from tumor mutations is still challenging.The host antitumor immune response selects and activates T cells recognizing tumor antigens.Hence,T cells engineered with T-cell receptors(TCRs)from these naturally occurring tumor antigen-specific T(Tas)cells in a patient will target personal TSAs in his/her tumor.To establish such a personalized TCR-T cell therapy,we comprehensively characterized T cells in tumor and its adjacent tissues by single-cell mRNA sequencing(scRNA-seq),TCR sequencing(TCR-seq)and in vitro neoantigen stimulation.Compared to bystander T cells circulating among tissues,Tas cells were characterized by tumor enrichment,tumor-specific clonal expansion and neoantigen specificity.We found that CXCL13 is a unique marker for both CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)Tas cells.Importantly,TCR-T cells expressing TCRs from Tas cells showed significant therapeutic effects on autologous patient-derived xenograft(PDX)tumors.Intratumoral Tas cell levels measured by CXCL13 expression precisely predicted the response to immune checkpoint blockade,indicating a critical role of Tas cells in the antitumor immunity.We further identified CD200 and ENTPD1 as surface markers for CD4^(^(+))and CD8^(^(+))Tas cells respectively,which enabled the isolation of Tas cells from tumor by Fluorescence Activating Cell Sorter(FACS)sorting.Overall,our results suggest that TCR-T cells engineered with Tas TCRs are a promising agent for personalized immunotherapy,and intratumoral Tas cell levels determine the response to immunotherapy.Jingjing He Xinxin Xiong Han Yang Dandan Li Xuefei Liu Shuo Li Shuangye Liao Siyu Chen Xizhi Wen Kuai Yu Lingyi Fu Xingjun Dong Kaiyu Zhu Xiaojun Xia Tiebang Kang Chaochao Bian Xiang Li Haiping Liu Peirong Ding Xiaoshi Zhang Zhenjiang Liu Wende Li Zhixiang Zuo Penghui Zhou 2022Cell Research2022,32,6:10
4Insight into the temperature sensitivity of forest litter decomposition and soil enzymes in subtropical forest in China显示文摘Aims With the continuing increase in the impact of human activities on ecosystems,ecologists are increasingly interested in understanding the effects of high temperature on litter decomposition since litter decomposition and the accompanying release of nutrients and carbon dioxide are key processes in ecosystem nutrient cycling and carbon flux.This study was conducted to evaluate the temperature sensitivity of forest litter decomposition and soil enzymes during litter decomposition in subtropical forest in China.Methods Two dominant litter types were chosen from Zijin Mountain in China:Quercus acutissima leaves from a broadleaf forest(BF)and Pinus massoniana needles from a coniferous forest(CF).The litter samples were incubated in soil microcosms at ambient control temperature(20C)and 10C warmer.During a 5-month incubation,chemical composition of litter samples,litter mass losses,and related soil enzyme activities were determined.Important Findings Three main results were found:(i)high temperature accelerated decomposition rates of both litter types,and the temperature sensitivities of litter decomposition for BF leaves and that for CF needles are equivalent basically,(ii)high temperature enhanced soil enzyme activities in the two forest types,and the temperature sensitivities of polyphenol oxidase were significantly higher than those of the other soil enzymes and(iii)the temperature sensitivities of nitrate reductase were significantly higher in the CF soil than in the BF soil,while there was no significant difference in the temperature sensitivities of the other soil enzymes between BF and CF.As a long-term consequence,the high-temperature-induced acceleration of litter decomposition rates in these subtropical forests may cause carbon stored belowground to be transferred in the atmosphere,which may alter the balance between carbon uptake and release,and then alter the global carbon cycle in the coming decades.Congyan Wang Guomin Han Yong Jia Xiaoguang Feng Xingjun Tian 2012Journal of Plant Ecology2012,5,3:8
5Research progresses on Cherenkov and transit-time high-power microwave sources at NUDT显示文摘Research progresses on Cherenkov and transit-time high-power microwave(HPM)sources in National University of Defense Technology(NUDT)of China are presented.The research issues are focused on the following aspects.The pulse-shortening phenomenon in O-type Cerenkov HPM devices is suppressed.The compact coaxial relativistic backward-wave oscillators(RBWOs)at low bands are developed.The power efficiency in M-Type HPM tubes without guiding magnetic field increased.The power capacities and power efficiencies in the triaxial klystron amplifier(TKA)and relativistic transit-time oscillator(TTO)at higher frequencies increased.In experiments,some exciting results were obtained.The X-band source generated 2 GW microwave power with a pulse duration of 110 ns in 30 Hz repetition mode.Both L-and P-band compact RBWOs generated over 2 GW microwave power with a power efficiency of over 30%.There is approximately a 75% decline of the volume compared with that of conventional RBWO under the same power capacity conditions.A 1.755 GHz MILO produced 3.1 GW microwave power with power efficiency of 10.4%.A 9.37 GHz TKA produced the 240 MW microwave power with the gain of 34 dB.A 14.3 GHz TTO produced 1 GW microwave power with power efficiency of 20%.Jiande Zhang Xingjun Ge Jun Zhang Juntao He Yuwei Fan Zhiqiang Li Zhenxing Jin Liang Gao Junpu Ling Zumin Qi 2016Matter and Radiation at Extremes2016,1,3:7

7Seismic response analysis of continuous rigid frame bridge considering canyon topography effects under incident SV waves显示文摘To evaluate the importance of the canyon topography effects on large structures, based on a rigid frame bridge across a 137-m-deep and 600-m-wide canyon, the seismic response of the canyon site is analyzed using a two-dimensional finite element model under different seismic SV waves with the assumptions of vertical incidence and oblique incidence to obtain the ground motions, which are used as the excitation input on the pier foundations of the bridge with improved large mass method. The results indicate that canyon topography has significant influences on the ground motions in terms of incident angle. The peak ground acceleration values vary greatly from the bottom of the canyon to the upper corners. Under vertical incident SV waves, at the upper corners of canyon the peak ground accelerations greatly increase; whereas the peak ground accelerations diminish at the bottom corners of canyon. Under oblique incident SV waves, the shaking of the canyon slope perpendicular to the incidence direction is much more severe than that of the opposite side of canyon. And the ground surface has been characterized by larger deformations in the case of oblique incident waves. It is also concluded that the low piers and frame of the continuous rigid frame bridge are more sensitive to the multi-support seismic excitations than the flexible high piers. 8Insights into seasonal variation of litter decomposition and related soil degradative enzyme activities in subtropical forest in China显示文摘We used a litterbag method to investigate litter decomposition and related soil degradative enzyme activities across four seasons in a broad-leaved forest and a coniferous forest on Zijin Mountain in sub-tropical China.Across four seasons, we quantified litter mass losses,soil pH values, and related soil degradative enzyme activities.Litter decomposition rates differed significantly by season.Litter decomposition rates of broadleaf forest leaves were higher than for coniferous forests needles across four seasons, and maximal differences in litter decomposition rates between the two litter types were found in spring.Obvious differences in litter decomposition rates of the two litter types were found in winter, which were similar to rates in spring.Litter decomposition rates of the two litter types in autumn were significantly higher than in spring.Soil degradative enzyme activities were lowest in winter and highest in summer in most cases across four seasons.WANG Cong-yan Lü Yan-na WANG Lei LIU Xue-yan TIAN Xingjun 2013Journal of Forestry Research2013,24,4:6
9A modified model for concurrent topology optimization of structures and materials显示文摘This paper presents a study on the concurrent topology optimization of a structure and its material microstructure. A modified optimization model is proposed by introducing microstructure orientation angles as a new type of design variable. The new model is based on the assumptions that a structure is made of a material with the same microstructure, and the material may have a different orientation within the design domain of the structure. The homogenization theory is applied to link the material and structure scales. An additional post-processing technique is developed for modifying the obtained design to avoid local optima caused by the use of orientation angle variables.Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the viability and effectiveness of the proposed model. 11A design method for high fabrication tolerance integrated optical mode multiplexer显示文摘The tapered asymmetric directional coupler has the potential to realize high fabrication tolerance and high transmission efficiency on-chip mode multiplexer.However,the geometry parameter selection of tapered structure remains empirical.In this paper,we propose a design method for the tapered structure based on genetic algorithm.Combined with the adjusted coupling equations and interpolation method,lowtime-cost optimization can be realized.Three mode multiplexers(TE0&TE1,TE0&TE2 and TE0&TE5)are designed by our method.According to simulation results,the insertion loss of the designed devices is lower than 1.8 dB and the crosstalk is lower than-15 dB when the fabrication error is within required range(±10 nm for TE0&TE2 and TE0&TE5,and±20 nm for TE0&TE1)in the bandwidth of 1.5–1.6μm.In addition,the entire optimization process takes only 2 h for each device,which is around the time cost of a single 3 D simulation.Bitao SHEN Haowen SHU Linjie ZHOU Xingjun WANG 2020Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,6:3

14Particle swarm optimization and its application to seismic inversion of igneous rocks显示文摘In order to improve the fine structure inversion ability of igneous rocks for the exploration of underlying strata, based on particle swarm optimization(PSO), we have developed a method for seismic wave impedance inversion. Through numerical simulation, we tested the effects of different algorithm parameters and different model parameterization methods on PSO wave impedance inversion, and analyzed the characteristics of PSO method. Under the conclusions drawn from numerical simulation, we propose the scheme of combining a cross-moving strategy based on a divided block model and high-frequency filtering technology for PSO inversion. By analyzing the inversion results of a wedge model of a pitchout coal seam and a coal coking model with igneous rock intrusion, we discuss the vertical and horizontal resolution, stability and reliability of PSO inversion. 15Allotransplantation of adult spinal cord tissues after complete transected spinal cord injury: long-term survival and functional recovery in canines显示文摘Spinal cord injury(SCI), especially complete transected SCI, leads to loss of cells and extracellular matrix and functional impairments. In a previous study, we transplanted adult spinal cord tissues(aSCTs) to replace lost tissues and facilitate recovery in a rat SCI model. However, rodents display considerable differences from human patients in the scale, anatomy and functions of spinal cord systems, and responses after injury. Thus, use of a large animal SCI model is required to examine the repair efficiency of potential therapeutic approaches. In this study, we transplanted allogenic aSCTs from adult dogs to the lesion area of canines after complete transection of the thoracic spinal cord, and investigated the long-term cell survival and functional recovery. To enhance repair efficiency, a growth factor cocktail was added during aSCT transplantation, providing a favorable microenvironment. The results showed that transplantation of a SCTs, in particular with the addition of growth factors, significantly improves locomotor function restoration and increases the number of neurofilament-, microtubule-associated protein2-, 5-hydroxytryptamine-, choline acetyltransferase-and tyrosine hydroxylase-positive neurons in the lesion area at 6 months post-surgery. In addition, we demonstrated that donor neurons in a SCTs can survive for a long period after transplantation. 17The development of machine learning-based remaining useful life prediction for lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Lithium-ion batteries are the most widely used energy storage devices,for which the accurate prediction of the remaining useful life(RUL)is crucial to their reliable operation and accident prevention.This work thoroughly investigates the developmental trend of RUL prediction with machine learning(ML)algorithms based on the objective screening and statistics of related papers over the past decade to analyze the research core and find future improvement directions.The possibility of extending lithium-ion battery lifetime using RUL prediction results is also explored in this paper.The ten most used ML algorithms for RUL prediction are first identified in 380 relevant papers.Then the general flow of RUL prediction and an in-depth introduction to the four most used signal pre-processing techniques in RUL prediction are presented.The research core of common ML algorithms is given first time in a uniform format in chronological order.The algorithms are also compared from aspects of accuracy and characteristics comprehensively,and the novel and general improvement directions or opportunities including improvement in early prediction,local regeneration modeling,physical information fusion,generalized transfer learning,and hardware implementation are further outlooked.Finally,the methods of battery lifetime extension are summarized,and the feasibility of using RUL as an indicator for extending battery lifetime is outlooked.Battery lifetime can be extended by optimizing the charging profile serval times according to the accurate RUL prediction results online in the future.This paper aims to give inspiration to the future improvement of ML algorithms in battery RUL prediction and lifetime extension strategy.Xingjun Li Dan Yu Vilsen Søren Byg Store Daniel Ioan 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,7:3
18Towards silicon photonic neural networks for artificial intelligence显示文摘Brain-inspired photonic neural networks for artificial intelligence have attracted renewed interest.For many computational tasks,such as image recognition,speech processing and deep learning,photonic neural networks have the potential to increase the computing speed and energy efficiency on the orders of magnitude compared with digital electronics.Silicon Photonics,which combines the advantages of electronics and photonics,brings hope for the large-scale photonic neural network integration.This paper walks through the basic concept of artificial neural networks and focuses on the key devices which construct the silicon photonic neuromorphic systems.We review some recent important progress in silicon photonic neural networks,which include multilayer artificial neural networks and brain-like neuromorphic systems,for artificial intelligence.A prototype of silicon photonic artificial intelligence processor for ultra-fast neural network computing is also proposed.We hope this paper gives a detailed overview and a deeper understanding of this emerging field.Bowen BAI Haowen SHU Xingjun WANG Weiwen ZOU 2020Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,6:3
19Cutting performance of micro-textured PCBN tool显示文摘To study the efect of micro-texture on the cutting performance of polyrystalline cubic boron nitide(PCBN)tools,five types of micro-textures(circular pits,eliptical grooves,transverse grooves,composite grooves,and wavy grooves)were applied to the rake surface of PCBN tools by an optical fber laser marking machine.Through a combination of three dimensional cutting simulations and experiments,the influences of micro-texture on chip-tool contact area,cutting force,chip morphology,shear angle,and surface roughness during the cuting process were analyzed.The results indicated that the chip--tool contact area and cutting force of both non-textured and micro textured tools increased with increasing cutting speed,while the shear angle decreased with increasing cutting speed.The chip-tool contact area and cutting force of the five types of micro-textured tools were smaller than those of the non textured tool The chip-tool contact area and cutting force obtained by the wavy-groove micro textured tool were the smallest.The chip radius produced by the five types of micro-textured tools was smaller than that produced by the non-textured tool,and the chip morphology was more stable.The transverse-groove micro-textured tool had a better chip breaking efect.The chip rnadius generated by the lliptical groove micro textured tool was 0.96 cm,while that generated by the wavy-groove tool varied from 0.55 cm to 1.26 cm.The presence of a micro-texture reduced the surface roughness of the workpiece by 11.73%-56.7%.Under the same cutting conditions,the five types of micro-textured tools gave a smaller chip--tool contact area,cutting force,chip radius,and surface roughness and a larger shear angle than the non-textured tool.In addition,the elliptical groove and wavy-groove micro-textured tools had better cuting performance.Lin Fan Zilong Deng Xingjun Gao Yan He 2021Nanotechnology and Precision Engineering2021,4,2:3
20Fully integrated hybrid microwave photonic receiver显示文摘Microwave photonic receivers are a promising candidate in breaking the bandwidth limitation of traditional radio-frequency(RF)receivers.To further balance the performance superiority with the requirements regarding size,weight,and power consumption(SWa P),the implementation of integrated microwave photonic microsystems has been considered an upgrade path.However,up to now,to the best of our knowledge,chip-scale fully integrated microwave photonic receivers have not been reported due to the limitation of material platforms.In this paper,we report a fully integrated hybrid microwave photonic receiver(FIH-MWPR)obtained by comprising the indium phosphide(In P)laser chip and the monolithic silicon-on-insulator(SOI)photonic circuit into the same substrate based on the low-coupling-loss micro-optics method.Benefiting from the integration of all optoelectronic components,the packaged FIH-MWPR exhibits a compact volume of 6 cmand low power consumption of 1.2 W.The FIH-MWPR supports a wide operation bandwidth from 2 to 18 GHz.Furthermore,its RF-link performance to down-convert the RF signals to the intermediate frequency is experimentally characterized by measuring the link gain,the noise figure,and the spurious-free dynamic range metrics across the whole operation frequency band.Moreover,we have utilized it as a de-chirp receiver to process the broadband linear frequencymodulated(LFM)radar echo signals at different frequency bands(S-,C-,X-,and Ku-bands)and successfully demonstrated its high-resolution-ranging capability.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first realization of a chip-scale broadband fully integrated microwave photonic receiver,which is expected to be an important step in demonstrating the feasibility of all-integrated microwave photonic microsystems oriented to miniaturized application scenarios.JIACHEN LI SIGANG YANG HONGWEI CHEN XINGJUN WANG MINGHUA CHEN WEIWEN ZOU 2022Photonics Research2022,10,6:2
