1A novel enriched CB shell element method for simulating arbitrary crack growth in pipes显示文摘In this work, a novel numerical method is developed for simulating arbitrary crack growth in pipes with the idea of enriched shape functions which can represent the discontinuity independent of the mesh. The concept of the enriched shape functions is introduced into the continuum-based (CB) shell element. Due to the advantage of CB shell element, the shell thickness varia- tion and surface connection can be concerned during the deformation. The stress intensity factors of the crack in the CB shell element are calculated by using the 'equivalent domain integral' method for 3D arbitrary non-planar crack. The maximum en- ergy release rate is used as a propagation criterion. This method is proved able to capture arbitrary crack growth path in pipes which is independent of the element mesh. 2A detailed investigation of low latitude tweek atmospherics observed by the WHU ELF/VLF receiver:2.Occurrence features and associated ionospheric parameters显示文摘As a companion paper to Zhou RX et al.(2020),this study describes application of the automatic detection and analysis module to identify all the tweek atmospherics detectible in the WHU ELF/VLF receiver data collected at Suizhou station during the period of 3 February through 29 February 2016.Detailed analysis of the identified low-latitude tweek events reveals that the occurrence rate varies considerably—from 800 to 6000 tweeks per day,and exhibits a strong diurnal and local time dependence,the peak occurring before local midnight.The diurnal variation of identified tweeks was similar to that of the lightning data obtained by the World-Wide Lightning Location Network(WWLLN)..Estimates of the propagation distance and ionospheric reflection height of tweek atmospherics suggest that the majority(~92%)of the low latitude tweeks originate from the lightning activity within a radius of 4000 km and that they are very likely to reflect from the lower ionospheric D-region at the height range of 75–85 km.At these lower ionospheric reflection altitudes,~74%of the corresponding electron densities from the tweek spectral measurements are within 24.5–27.5 cm^-3.The daily variation of estimated D-region electron densities in the considered period(February 2016)also exhibits a small overall increasing trend from early to later in the month.Juan Yi XuDong Gu Wen Cheng XinYue Tang Long Chen BinBin Ni RuoXian Zhou ZhengYu Zhao Qi Wang LiQing Zhou 2020Earth and Planetary Physics2020,4,3:8
3Whole genome sequencing of 10K patients with acute ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack: design, methods and baseline patient characteristics显示文摘Background and purpose Stroke is the second leading cause of death worldwide and the leading cause of mortality and long-term disability in China,but its underlying risk genes and pathways are far from being comprehensively understood.We here describe the design and methods of whole genome sequencing(WGS)for 10914 patients with acute ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack from the Third China National Stroke Registry(CNSR-III).Methods Baseline clinical characteristics of the included patients in this study were reported.DNA was extracted from white blood cells of participants.Libraries are constructed using qualified DNA,and WGS is conducted on BGISEQ-500 platform.The average depth is intended to be greater than 30×for each subject.Afterwards,Sentieon software is applied to process the sequencing data under the Genome Analysis Toolkit best practice guidance to call genotypes of single nucleotide variants(SNVs)and insertion-deletions.For each included subject,21 fingerprint SNVs are genotyped by MassARRAY assays to verify that DNA sample and sequencing data originate from the same individual.The copy number variations and structural variations are also called for each patient.All of the genetic variants are annotated and predicted by bioinformatics software or by reviewing public databases.Results The average age of the included 10914 patients was 62.2±11.3 years,and 31.4%patients were women.Most of the baseline clinical characteristics of the 10914 and the excluded patients were balanced.Conclusions The WGS data together with abundant clinical and imaging data of CNSR-III could provide opportunity to elucidate the molecular mechanisms and discover novel therapeutic targets for stroke.Si Cheng Zhe Xu Yang Liu Jinxi Lin Yong Jiang Yilong Wang Xia Meng Anxin Wang Xinying Huang Zhimin Wang Guohua Chen Songdi Wu Zhengchang Jia Yongming Chen Xuerong Qiu Jun Wu Binbin Song Weizhong Ji Zhongping An Wenjun Xue Lili Zhao Yu Geng Hongyan Li Hao Li Yongjun Wang 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2:8
4Dark matter direct search sensitivity of the PandaX-4T experiment显示文摘The Panda X-4T experiment, a 4-ton scale dark matter direct detection experiment, is being planned at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. In this paper we present a simulation study of the expected background in this experiment. In a 2.8-ton fiducial mass and the signal region between 1-10 keV electron equivalent energy, the total electron recoil background is found to be 4.9 × 10^(-5) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). The nuclear recoil background in the same region is 2.8 × 10^(-7) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). 6Stability and bifurcation control of a neuron system under a novel fractional-order PD controller显示文摘In this paper, we address the problem of bifurcation control for a delayed neuron system. By introducing a new fractional-order Proportional-Derivative(PD) feedback controller, this paper aims to control the stability and Hopf bifurcation through adjusting the control gain parameters. The order chosen in PD controller is different with that of the integer-order neuron system. Sufficient conditions for guaranteeing the stability and generating Hopf bifurcation are constructed for the controlled neuron system. 14Extraction of Alpha transmitter signals from single-station observations using the direction-finding method显示文摘For the applications of Alpha very-low-frequency(VLF) systems consisting of multiple transmitters, determining the origin transmitter station of received signals is a crucial problem. Based on single-station observations, this study develops a directionfinding method to extract Russian Alpha transmitter signals. First, the amplitudes of Alpha signals received in Suizhou City,Hubei Province(31.57°N, 113.32°E) in the east-west(EW) and north-south(NS) directions are obtained by the power spectrum method. The amplitude ratios of signals in the two directions are subsequently adopted to estimate the propagation angles of the signals with respect to the NS direction of the VLF receiver station. Phase ambiguity in our system is eliminated by comparing Alpha signal waveform with that from the VTX transmitter in India(8.39°N, 77.75°E) as a reference station. Finally, we can determine the quadrant where the incoming wave signals are located relative to the receiver and eventually distinguish the exact Alpha transmitters. Based on the direction-finding results, the amplitudes of each Alpha signal are extracted, and their diurnal variation features are analyzed to verify the performance of our method. 15Local singularity and S–A methods for analyzing ore-producing anomalies in the Jianbiannongchang area of Heilongjiang,China显示文摘The Heilongjiang Jianbiannongchang area is located at the confluence of the Great and Lesser Xing’an Ranges.This area has a complex magmatic and tectonic evolutionary history that has resulted in a complex and diverse geological background for mineralization.In this study,isometric logarithmic ratio(ILR)transformations of Au,Cu,Pb,Zn,and Sb contents were performed in the1:50,000 soil geochemical data of the Jianbiannongchang area.Robust principal component analysis(RPCA)was conducted based on ILR transformation.The local singularity and spectrum-area(S-A)methods were used to extract information on mineralogic anomalies.The results showed that:(1)the transformed data eliminated the influence of the original data closure effect,and the PC1and PC2 information obtained by applying RPCA reflected ore-producing element anomalies dominated by Au and Cu.(2)The local singularity method can enhance the information of the local strong and weak slow anomalies.After performing local singularity analysis on PC1 and PC2,the obtained local anomalies reflected the local singularity spatial anomaly patterns related to Cu and Au mineralization in this area,which is an effective method for trapping ore-producing anomalies.(3)Furthermore,the composite anomaly decomposition of PC1 and PC2 was performed using the S-A method,and the screened anomalous and background fields reflect the ore-producing anomalies related to Cu and Au mineralization.This information is in agreement with known Cu and Au mineralization.(4)The geochemical anomalies with mineralization potential were obtained outside the known mineralization sites by integrating the information of oreproducing anomalies extracted by the local singularity and S-A methods,providing the theoretical basis and exploration direction for future exploration in the study area.Zhonghai Zhao Kai Qiao Yiwen Liu Xiaomeng Cui Binbin Cheng Shanshan Liang Chenglu Li 2023Acta Geochimica2023,42,2:1
16Hemispheric Distribution of Lower-band Chorus Waves Observed by Van Allen Probes显示文摘Whistler mode chorus waves are important electromagnetic emissions due to their dual roles in acceleration and loss processes of Earth's radiation belt electrons.A detailed global survey of lower-band chorus is performed using EMFISIS data from Van Allen Probes in near-equatorial orbits.In addition to the confirmation of the positive correlation of chorus wave intensities to geomagnetic activity and dayside-nightside distribution asymmetry of wave amplitude and occurrence probability,the analysis results find that in statistics lower-band chorus emissions exhibit higher wave occurrence rates and larger normalized peak wave frequencies in the magnetically northern hemisphere but somehow stronger peak wave intensities in the magnetically southern hemisphere.While overall the differences between the two magnetically hemispheric distributions tend to be not significant,it is important to establish the magnetically hemispheric distribution profiles of lowerband chorus with respect to L-shell,magnetic local time,and geomagnetic latitude for improved understanding of chorus-induced dynamics of radiation belt electrons.CHENG Xiaowei GU Xudong NI Binbin ZHANG Yang 2020空间科学学报2020,40,2:1
17Diurnal Variation of Volatile Organic Compounds in Recreational Forests and Its Relationship with Microclimate Factors显示文摘This study used the dynamic headspace adsorption(DHS) to collect volatile organic compounds(VOCs) released from the Fokienia hodginsii forest in summer, and analyzed the the composition and concentration of VOCs and their correlation with environmental factors. The results showed that: there were 165 types of VOCs in the Fokienia hodginsii forest;the diurnal variation of the concentration of total volatile organic compounds(TVOCs) was 'W'-shaped, the concentration reached its peak at 13:00–15:00 and its trough at 1:00–3:00;VOCs beneficial to human health mainly appeared at 13:00, while VOCs harmful to human health chiefly occurred at 11:00–19:00. The correlation analysis between the concentration of VOCs and climatic factors indicated that the concentration of VOCs was basically proportional to the temperature and illumination intensity and inversely proportional to the humidity and wind speed. 19Tumor microenvironment-responsive MnSiO_(3)-Pt@BSA-Ce6 nanoplatform for synergistic catalysis-enhanced sonodynamic and chemodynamic cancer therapy显示文摘Compared with traditional photodynamic therapy(PDT),ultrasound(US)triggered sonodynamic therapy(SDT)has a wide application prospect in tumor therapy because of its deeper penetration depth.Herein,a novel MnSiO_(3)-Pt(MP)nanocomposite composed of Mn Si O_(3)nanosphere and noble metallic Pt was successfully constructed.After modification with bovine serum albumin(BSA)and chlorine e6(Ce6),the multifunctional nanoplatform Mn SiO_(3)-Pt@BSA-Ce6(MPBC)realized the magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)-guided synergetic SDT/chemodynamic therapy(CDT).In this nanoplatform,sonosensitizer Ce6 can generate singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2))to kill cancer cells under US irradiation.Meanwhile,the loaded Pt has the ability to catalyze the decomposition of overexpressed hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))in tumor microenvironment(TME)to produce oxygen(O_(2)),which can conquer tumor hypoxia and promote the SDT-induced^(1)O_(2)production.In addition,MP can degrade in mildly acidic and reductive TME,causing the release of Mn^(2+).The released Mn^(2+) not only can be used for MRI,but also can generate hydroxyl radical(^·OH)for CDT by Fenton-like reaction.The multifunctional nanoplatform MPBC has high biological safety and good anticancer effect,which displays the great latent capacity in biological application.Fan Jiang Chunzheng Yang Binbin Ding Shuang Liang Yajie Zhao Ziyong Cheng Min Liu Bengang Xing Ping’an Ma Jun Lin 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,6:1
20A Comparison of Human Comfort Between the Inner and Outer Fokienia hodginsii Forests and the Urban Area in Autumn显示文摘This study observed the temperature,relative humidity,and wind speed of the inner and outer Fokienia hodginsii forests and the urban area in autumn,used the comprehensive comfort index to represent human comfort,compared the differences in the microclimates between the inner and outer forests and the urban area,and evaluated the impacts of the 3 plots on the comfort level of people’s outdoor activities.The results showed that: The inner forest had a drop in temperature ranging 0.7℃ to 1.5 ℃ compared with the outer forest;the outer forest had a drop in temperature ranging 0.6℃ to 3.5℃ compared with the urban area;the relative humidity of the inner forest was 0.04–5% higher than that of the outer forest,and 21.7–37.1% higher than that of the urban area;the wind speed of the inner forest was 56% lower than that of the urban area,and 35% lower than that of the outer forest.In short,the inner forest,where people felt most comfortable,was a better place for developing outdoor activities in autumn.WANG Qian WANG Cheng ZHANG Zhongxia REN Binbin XU Chao GUO Junqi 2019Journal of Landscape Research2019,11,5:0
