1Spiral Steel Wire Based Fiber-Shaped Stretchable and Tailorable Triboelectric Nanogenerator for Wearable Power Source and Active Gesture Sensor显示文摘Continuous deforming always leads to the performance degradation of a flexible triboelectric nanogenerator due to the Young’s modulus mismatch of different functional layers.In this work,we fabricated a fiber-shaped stretchable and tailorable triboelectric nanogenerator(FST-TENG)based on the geometric construction of a steel wire as electrode and ingenious selection of silicone rubber as triboelectric layer.Owing to the great robustness and continuous conductivity,the FST-TENGs demonstrate high stability,stretchability,and even tailorability.For a single device with ~6 cm in length and ~3 mm in diameter,the open-circuit voltage of ~59.7 V,transferred charge of ~23.7 nC,short-circuit current of ~2.67 μA and average power of ~2.13 μW can be obtained at 2.5 Hz.By knitting several FST-TENGs to be a fabric or a bracelet,it enables to harvest human motion energy and then to drive a wearable electronic device.Finally,it can also be woven on dorsum of glove to monitor the movements of gesture,which can recognize every single finger,different bending angle,and numbers of bent finger by analyzing voltage signals.Lingjie Xie Xiaoping Chen Zhen Wen Yanqin Yang Jihong Shi Chen Chen Mingfa Peng Yina Liu Xuhui Sun 2019Nano-Micro Letters2019,11,3:13
2LncRNA TUG1 promotes cisplatin resistance in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma cells by regulating Nrf2显示文摘Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)is a common malignancy with poor prognosis.The drug resistance compromises the efficacy of chemotherapy for ESCC.Long non-coding RNA taurine upregulated gene 1(TUG1)has been identified as a promoter of cancer progression and chemotherapy resistance in many malignancies.However,the exact role of TUG1 in ESCC chemotherapy resistance remains unclear.In this study,we showed that TUG1 expression in TE-1-derived cisplatin(DDP)-resistant(TE-1/DDP)cells was higher than that in TE-1 cells.Furthermore,TUG1 promoted DDP resistance in TE-1 and TE-1/DDP cells by promoting cell proliferation,suppressing cell apoptosis,and elevating protein expression of the classical multi-drug resistance-related P-gp.In contrast,TUG1 knockdown exerted an opposite effect.Mechanistically,RNA pull-down and RNA immunoprecipitation assays confirmed that TUG1 directly bound to nuclear factor(erythroid-derived 2)-like 2(Nrf2)protein and elevated Nrf2 protein expression.Moreover,Nrf2-neutralizing antibody effectively reversed the TUG1 overexpression-mediated promotion of ESCC cell resistance to DDP.In conclusion,our findings demonstrated that TUG1 promoted ESCC cell resistance to DDP,at least in part,through upregulating Nrf2.Zhenghua Zhang Ran Xiong Caiwei Li Meiqing Xu Mingfa Guo 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,8:7
3Uncertain multiobjective redundancy allocation problem of repairable systems based on artificial bee colony algorithm显示文摘Based on the uncertainty theory, this paper is devoted to the redundancy allocation problem in repairable parallel-series systems with uncertain factors, where the failure rate, repair rate and other relative coefficients involved are considered as uncertain variables. The availability of the system and the corresponding designing cost are considered as two optimization objectives. A crisp multiobjective optimization formulation is presented on the basis of uncertainty theory to solve this resultant problem. For solving this problem efficiently, a new multiobjective artificial bee colony algorithm is proposed to search the Pareto efficient set, which introduces rank value and crowding distance in the greedy selection strategy, applies fast non-dominated sort procedure in the exploitation search and inserts tournament selection in the onlooker bee phase. It shows that the proposed algorithm outperforms NSGA-II greatly and can solve multiobjective redundancy allocation problem efficiently. 5Content Addressable Storage Optimization for Desktop Virtualization Based Disaster Backup Storage System显示文摘This paper proposes a content addressable storage optimization method, VDeskCAS, for desktop virtualization storage based disaster backup storage system. The method implements a block-level storage optimization, by employing the algorithms of chunking image file into blocks, the block-finger calculation and the block deduplication. A File system in Use Space (FUSE) based storage process for VDeskCAS is also introduced which optimizes current direct storage to suit our content addressable storage. An interface level modification makes our system easy to extend. 9Neural stem cell proliferation and differentiation in a neonatal rat model of hypoxia/ischemia injury Acupuncture at Ren,Du,and urinary bladder meridians显示文摘BACKGROUND:Acupuncture improves the prognosis of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE).However,the cytological mechanism of acupuncture therapy remains poorly under-stood.In situ neural stem cell(NSC) proliferation theory proposes that the proliferation and differentiation of NSCs plays an important role in HIE treatment with acupuncture.OBJECTIVE:To investigate NSC proliferation and differentiation in the brain of a rat model of HIE during acupuncture at Ren,Du,and urinary bladder meridians.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized,controlled animal experiment was performed at the Central Laboratory of Shantou University Medical College from July 2005 to June 2009.MATERIALS:A 32# 1-cun stainless steel acupuncture needle was purchased from Suzhou Acupuncture Supplies Co.Ltd.,China.METHODS:A total of 90 Sprague-Dawley rats,aged 7 days,were randomly assigned to acupunc-ture,model and normal groups,with 30 animals in each group.Animals in acupuncture and model groups were subjected to left common carotid artery ligation followed by hypoxia for 2 hours to establish neonatal HIE models.Acupuncture group rats underwent acupuncture at Ren,Du,and uri-nary bladder meridians,once a day.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:The number,appearance,and distribution of bromodeoxyuridine(BrdU)-positive cells in the cerebral cortex and hippocampus of each group were compared.In ad-dition,NSC differentiation in the occipital cortex and hippocampal dentate gyrus 40 days following model establishment was detected.RESULTS:BrdU-positive cells were dispersed in the cerebral cortex and hippocampus.The num-ber of BrdU-positive cells in occipital cortex and hippocampal dentate gyrus of HIE rats remained unchanged following 3 and 7 days of acupuncture,but a significant increase was detected on days 14 and 28(P<0.01 or P<0.05).At 40 days,immunofluorescence showed that a majority of BrdU-positive cells were co-lableled with the neuron marker,and neuron specific enolase,and a few were co-labeled with the astrocyte marker,and glial fibrillary acidic protein.CONCLUSION:Acupuncture at Ren,Du,and urinary bladder meridians promoted NSC proliferation in the occipital cortex and hippocampal dentate gyrus of HIE rats.Moreover,acupuncture-induced neoformative NSCs mostly differentiated into neurons.Minghua Zhuang Jianming Luo Ye Bai Mingfa Liu 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,4:2
