Further Information of the Associated Li Deposits in the No.6 Coal Seam at Jungar Coalfield, Inner Mongolia, Northern China显示文摘Total 138 coal samples and 14 parting samples were taken from the No. 6 Seam of the Jungar Coalfield, Inner Mongolia. These samples were analysed by optical microscopy, sequential chemical extraction procedure (SCEP), inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscope in conjunction with an energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometer (SEM-EDX) analysis. The results indicate that the Li contents have reached the industrial grade of the coal associated Li deposit, and the total Li reserves have reached 2406600 tons, that is, 5157000 tons Li2O in the No. 6 seam in the Jungar Coalfield. The sequential chemical extraction procedure results suggest that the Li concentration is mainly related to inorganic matter. The minerals in the coals consist of kaolinite, boehmite, chlorite-group mineral, quartz, calcite, pyrite, siderite and amorphous clay material. Some Li could be absorbed by clay minerals in the Li-bearing coal seam. The chlorite phase?could be?most likely the host for a part of Li. The Yinshan Oldland should be the most possible source of Li of the coal.SUN Yuzhuang ZHAO Cunliang LI Yanheng WANG Jinxi ZHANG Jianya JIN Zhe LIN Mingyue Wolfgang KALKREUTH 2013Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2013,87,4:33
Whole genome sequencing of 10K patients with acute ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack: design, methods and baseline patient characteristics显示文摘Background and purpose Stroke is the second leading cause of death worldwide and the leading cause of mortality and long-term disability in China, but its underlying risk genes and pathways are far from being comprehensively understood. We here describe the design and methods of whole genome sequencing(WGS)for 10914 patients with acute ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack from the Third China National Stroke Registry(CNSR-III).Methods Baseline clinical characteristics of the included patients in this study were reported.DNA was extracted from white blood cells of participants.Libraries are constructed using qualified DNA,and WGS is conducted on BGISEQ-500 platform. The average depth is intended to be greater than 30×for each subject.Afterwards,Sentieon software is applied to process the sequencing data under the Genome Analysis Toolkit best practice guidance to call genotypes of single nucleotide variants(SNVs)and insertion-deletions.For each included subject,21 fingerprint SNVs are genotyped by MassARRAY assays to verify that DNA sample and sequencing data originate from the same individual. The copy number variations and structural variations are also called for each patient. All of the genetic variants are annotated and predicted by bioinformatics software or by reviewing public databases. Results The average age of the included 10914 patients was 62.2±11.3 years, and 31.4%patients were women. Most of the baseline clinical characteristics of the 10914 and the excluded patients were balanced. Conclusions The WGS data together with abundant clinical and imaging data of CNSR-III could provide opportunity to elucidate the molecular mechanisms and discover novel therapeutic targets for stroke.Si Cheng Zhe Xu Yang Liu Jinxi Lin Yong Jiang Yilong Wang Xia Meng Anxin Wang Xinying Huang Zhimin Wang Guohua Chen Songdi Wu Zhengchang Jia Yongming Chen Xuerong Qiu Jun Wu Binbin Song Weizhong Ji Zhongping An Wenjun Xue Lili Zhao Yu Geng Hongyan Li Hao Li Yongjun Wang 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2:8
Low serum albumin levels predict poor outcome in patients with acute ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack显示文摘Background To examine the relationship of serum albumin with poor functional outcome and mortality in patients with acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)or transient ischaemic attack(TIA),and perform a meta-analysis to summarise the association. Methods We analysed data from the Third China National Stroke Registry(CNSR-Ⅲ).Patients were divided into four groups based on serum albumin levels at admission. The outcomes included poor functional outcome(modified Rankin Scale(mRS)score of 3 to 6)and mortality at 3 months and 1 year.Multiple logistic regression models and Cox regression models were used to evaluate the association, respectively. We used a fixed-effect model to calculate the risk ratio for poor functional outcome and a random-effect model for mortality in the meta-analysis.Results A total of 13618 patients were enrolled.During the 3-month follow-up period, compared with 40 to 44.9 g/L group, patients in<35 g/L group had an increased risk of poor functional outcome and mortality(adjusted OR 1.37(95%CI 1.12 to 1.67);adjusted HR 2.13(95%CI 1.41 to 3.23)).The relationship in per 10 g/L decreased serum albumin with prognosis was consistently inversed(adjusted OR 1.17(95%CI 1.01 to 1.35);adjusted HR 1.86(95%CI 1.30 to 2.64)).Also,low serum albumin levels were independently correlated with clinical outcomes at 1 year.In the meta-analysis,the OR for poor functional outcome pooled 3 studies per 1 g/L decrease was 1.03(95%CI 1.02 to 1.05),and the HR for mortality pooled 5 studies was 1.07(95%CI 1.03 to 1.11).Conclusions Low serum albumin levels predict poor functional outcome and mortality in patients with AIS or TIA.Hongyu Zhou Anxin Wang Xia Meng Jinxi Lin Yong Jiang Jing Jing Yingting Zuo Yilong Wang Xingquan Zhao Hao Li Yongjun Wang 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,3:7

LDL-C levels,lipid-lowering treatment and recurrent stroke in minor ischaemic stroke or TIA显示文摘Background and purpose Dyslipidaemia is a major risk factor for ischaemic stroke and transient ischaemic attack(TIA).This study aimed to investigate the association between baseline low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)level,lipid-lowering treatment and short-term risk of new stroke in patients with a minor ischaemic stroke or TIA.Methods We derived data from the Clopidogrel in High-risk patients with Acute Non-disabling Cerebrovascular Events trial.Patients with a minor stroke or TIA were categorised by LDL-C level at baseline(<2.6 or≥2.6 mmol/L(100 mg/dL))and with or without lipid-lowering treatment after symptom onset. The primary outcome was a new ischaemic stroke at 3 months. The association of baseline LDL-C level, lowering treatment and outcomes were assessed. Results Among 3027 patients,2154(71.2%)patients had an initial LDL-C≥2.6 mmol/L,of which 1267(41.9%)received lipid-lowering treatment.Elevated LDL-C level was associated with a higher risk of new ischaemic stroke at 3 months in patients without lipid-lowering treatment(adj.HR=1.35,95%CI:1.19 to 1.53),but not in those with lipid-lowering treatment(adj.HR=0.99,95%CI:0.82 to 1.19)(p for interaction=0.007).Patients with LDL-C≥2.6 mmol/L had a numerically higher risk of ischaemic stroke(11.8%vs 8.0%,adj.HR=1.37,95%CI:0.96 to 1.96)in those without lipid-lowering treatment. For patients with LDL-C≥2.6 mmol/L,lipid-lowering treatment was associated with reduced risk of ischaemic stroke at 3 months(7.9%vs 11.8%;adj.HR=0.54,95%CI:0.39 to 0.75).Conclusions Elevated untreated baseline LDL-C level was associated with an increased short-term risk of ischaemic stroke among patients presenting with minor ischaemic stroke or TIA.There was potential benefit of lipid-lowering treatment in minor stroke or TIA patients with LDL-C≥2.6 mmol/L.Trial registration number NCT00979589.Yuesong Pan Runqi Wangqin Hao Li Aoming Jin Jiejie Li Jinxi Lin Xia Meng Ying Xian Daniel T Laskowitz Yongjun Wang 2022Stroke & Vascular Neurology2022,7,4:2

Micro–meso-macroporous FeCo-N-C derived from hierarchical bimetallic FeCo-ZIFs as cathode catalysts for enhanced Li-O2 batteries performance显示文摘Developing bifunctional catalysts that increase both the OER and ORR kinetics and transport reactants with high efficiency is desirable. Herein, micro–meso-macroporous FeCo-N-C-X(denoted as 'MFeCo-N-C-X', X represents Fe/Co molar ratio in bimetallic zeolite imidazole frameworks FeCo-ZIFs) catalysts derived from hierarchical M-FeCo-ZIFs-X was prepared. The micropores in M-FeCo-N-C-X have strong capability in O2 capture as well as dictate the nucleation and early-stage deposition of Li2O2,the mesopores provided a channel for the electrolyte wetting, and the macroporous structure promoted more available active sites when used as cathode for Li-O2 batteries. More importantly, M-Fe CoN-C-0.2 based cathode showed a high initial capacity(18,750 mAh g-1@0.1 A g-1), good rate capability(7900 m Ah g-1@0.5 A g-1), and cycle stability up to 192 cycles. Interestingly, the FeCo-N-C-0.2 without macropores suffered relatively poorer stability with only 75 cycles, although its discharge capacity was still as high as 17,200 mA h g-1(@0.1 A g-1). The excellent performance attributed to the synergistic contribution of homogeneous Fe, Co nanoparticles and N co-doping carbon frameworks with special micro–meso-macroporous structure. The results showed that hierarchical FeCo-N-C architectures are promising cathode catalysts for Li-O2 batteries.Fufang Chao Baoxing Wang Jiaojiao Ren Yingwei Lu Wenrui Zhang Xizhang Wang Lin Cheng Yongbing Lou Jinxi Chen 2019Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,8:1
Biomarker and genomic analyses reveal molecular signatures of non-cardioembolic ischemic stroke显示文摘Acute ischemic stroke(AIS)is a major cause of disability and mortality worldwide.Non-cardioembolic ischemic stroke(NCIS),which constitutes the majority of AIS cases,is highly heterogeneous, thus requiring precision medicine treatments. This study aimed to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying NCIS heterogeneity. We integrated data from the Third China National Stroke Registry, including clinical phenotypes, biomarkers, and whole-genome sequencing data for 7695 patients with NCIS.We identified 30 molecular clusters based on 63 biomarkers and explored the comprehensive landscape of biological heterogeneity and subpopulations in NCIS.Dimensionality reduction revealed fine-scale subpopulation structures associated with specific biomarkers. The subpopulations with biomarkers for inflammation, abnormal liver and kidney function, homocysteine metabolism, lipid metabolism, and gut microbiota metabolism were associated with a high risk of unfavorable clinical outcomes, including stroke recurrence, disability, and mortality.Several genes encoding potential drug targets were identified as putative causal genes that drive the clusters, such as CDK10,ERCC3,and CHEK2.We comprehensively characterized the genetic architecture of these subpopulations, identified their molecular signatures, and revealed the potential of the polybiomarkers and polygenic prediction for assessing clinical outcomes. Our study demonstrates the power of large-scale molecular biomarkers and genomics to understand the underlying biological mechanisms of and advance precision medicine for NCIS.Lingling Ding Yu Liu Xia Meng Yong Jiang Jinxi Lin Si Cheng Zhe Xu Xingquan Zhao Hao Li Yongjun Wang Zixiao Li 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,6:0
