1Effectiveness and safety of Ginkgo biloba extract(GBE50)in the treatment of dizziness caused by cerebral arteriosclerosis:a multi-center,double-blind,randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Ginkgo biloba extract(GBE50)in the treatment of dizziness caused by cerebral arteriosclerosis.METHODS:This was a multi-center,double-blind,double-dummy,positive-controlled,parallel randomized controlled clinical trial with 1∶1 allocation.We recruited 404 patients with dizziness caused by cerebral arteriosclerosis(blood stasis symptom pattern)in 10 hospitals in China.GBE50 group received GBE50 and Naoxinqing tablet(NXQ)of mimetic agent,control group received NXQ and GBE50 of mimetic agent.The main outcome was Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)symptom pattern score of blood stasis after 6 weeks.The secondary outcomes were changes in the dizziness handicap inventory(DHI)score,vertigo visual analogue scale(VAS)score,the university of California vertigo questionnaire(UCLA-DQ)score and single-item symptom score of TCM from baseline to 2,4 and 6 weeks.Safety indicators included the incidence of adverse events,severe adverse events and laboratory examination including blood routine,liver function,renal function,and so forth.RESULTS:The total effective rate of TCM symptom pattern score in the GBE50 group after 6 weeks of treatment was higher than that in the control group,the difference in rate was statistically significant(92.67%vs 83.07%,P=0.004).Compared with the control group,there was no difference in the incidence of adverse reactions(9.95%vs 14.85%,P=0.136).CONCLUSION:The treatment of dizziness caused by cerebral arteriosclerosis with GBE50 is effective,safe and reliable.SHA Rina TANG Lu DU Yawei WU Shengxian SHI Huawei ZOU Hongxin ZHANG Xuran DONG Xinglu ZHOU Li 2022Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2022,42,1:5
2Ultralight and ordered lamellar polyimide-based graphene foams with efficient broadband electromagnetic absorption显示文摘The development of high-performance microwave absorption materials with strong absorption capacity and broad bandwidth is highly desirable in the field of electromagnetic pollution protection.Herein,ultralight polyimide-based graphene foam with ordered lamellar structure is precisely designed and controllably constructed by bidirectional freezing process.More lamellar interfaces formed inside the foam per unit volume effectively facilitate the layer-by-layer dissipation for the vertical incident electromagnetic waves,thereby endowing the foam with efficient broadband electromagnetic absorption performance.More importantly,electromagnetic absorption performance can be controllably adjusted by optimizing impedance distribution and microstructure of skeletons.As a result,the optimized foam with an ultralow density of 9.10 mg/cm^(3)presents a minimum reflection loss value of-61.29 dB at 9.25 GHz and an effective absorption bandwidth of 5.51 GHz(7.06-12.57 GHz,covering the whole X band) when the thickness is 4.75 mm.Yawei Zhang Shuangshuang Li Xinwei Tang Wei Fan Qianqian Lan Le Li Piming Ma Weifu Dong Zicheng Wang Tianxi Liu 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,7:3
3Identification of novel Lynch syndrome mutations in Chinese patients with endometriod endometrial cancer显示文摘Objective:Lynch syndrome(LS)predisposes patients to early onset endometrioid endometrial cancer(EEC).However,little is known about LS-related EEC in the Chinese population.The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence of LS and to identify the specific variants of LS in Chinese patients with EEC.Methods:We applied universal immunohistochemistry screening to detect the expression of mismatch repair(MMR)proteins,which was followed by MLH1 methylation analysis to identify suspected LS cases,next-generation sequencing(NGS)to confirm LS,and microsatellite instability(MSI)analysis to verify LS.Results:We collected 211 samples with EEC.Twenty-seven(27/211,12.8%)EEC cases had a loss of MMR protein expression.After MLH1 methylation analysis,16 EEC cases were suggested to be associated with LS.Finally,through NGS and MSI analysis,we determined that 10 EEC(10/209,4.78%)cases were associated with LS.Among those cases,3 unreported mutations(1 frameshift and 2 nonsense)were identified.M SH6 c.597_597delC,found in 4 patients,is likely to be a founder mutation in China.Conclusions:We demonstrated the feasibility of a process for LS screening in Chinese patients with EEC,by using universal immunohistochemistry screening followed by MLH1 methylation analysis and confirmation through NGS and MSI analysis.The novel mutations identified in this study expand knowledge of LS.Caixia Ren Yan Liu Yuxiang Wang Yan Tang Yawei Wei Congrong Liu Hongquan Zhang 2020Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,2:3
4Applications of Metal–Organic Frameworks and Their Derivatives in Electrochemical CO_(2)Reduction显示文摘Electrochemically reducing CO_(2)to more reduced chemical species is a promising way that not only enables the conversion of intermittent energy resources to stable fuels,but also helps to build a closed-loop anthropogenic carbon cycle.Among various electrocatalysts for electrochemical CO_(2)reduction,multifunctional metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)have been employed as highly efficient and selective heterogeneous electrocatalysts due to their ultrahigh porosity and topologically diverse structures.Up to now,great progress has been achieved in the design and synthesis of highly active and selective MOF-related catalysts for electrochemical CO_(2)reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR),and their corresponding reaction mechanisms have been thoroughly studied.In this review,we summarize the recent progress of applying MOFs and their derivatives in CO_(2)RR,with a focus on the design strategies for electrocatalysts and electrolyzers.We first discussed the reaction mechanisms for different CO_(2)RR products and introduced the commonly applied electrolyzer configurations in the current CO_(2)RR system.Then,an overview of several categories of products(CO,HCOOH,CH_(4),CH_(3)OH,and multi-carbon chemicals)generated from MOFs or their derivatives via CO_(2)RR was discussed.Finally,we offer some insights and perspectives for the future development of MOFs and their derivatives in electrochemical CO_(2)reduction.We aim to provide new insights into this field and further guide future research for large-scale applications.Chengbo Li Yuan Ji Youpeng Wang Chunxiao Liu Zhaoyang Chen Jialin Tang Yawei Hong Xu Li Tingting Zheng Qiu Jiang Chuan Xia 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,8:2
5Analysis of human urine metabolites using SPE and NMR spectroscopy显示文摘Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopic analysis of metabonome/metabolome has widespread applications in biomedical science researches. However, most of NMR resonances for urinary metabolites remain to be fully assigned. In the present study, human urine samples from two healthy volunteers were pre-treated with C18 solid-phase extraction and the resultant 5 sub-fractions were subjected to one- and two-dimensional NMR studies, including 1H J-Resolved, 1H-1H COSY, 1H-1H TOCSY, 1H-13C HSQC, and HMBC 2D NMR. 6Direct and single-step sensing of primary ovarian cancers related glycosidases显示文摘High sensitive,accurate detection for tumor-associated overexpressed enzyme activity is highly significant for further understanding enzyme function,discovering potential drugs,and early diagnosis and prevention of diseases.In this work,we developed a facile,direct and single-step detection platform for primary ovarian cancers related glycosidase activity based on the inner filter effect(IFE)between glycosidase catalytic product and black phosphorus quantum dots(BPQDs).Highly fluorescent BPQDs were successfully synthesized from bulk black phosphorus by a simple liquid exfoliation method.Under the catalysis ofβ-galactosidase,p-nitrophenyl-β-D-galactopyranoside(PNPG)was transformed into pnitrophenol(PNP)andβ-D-galactopyranoside.Meanwhile,the absorption of catalytic product PNP greatly overlapped with the excitation and emission spectra of fluorescent BPQDs,leading to the fluorescence quenching of BPQDs with a high quenching efficiency.The proposed sensing strategy provided a low detection limit of 0.76 U/L,which was 1-2 orders of magnitude lower than most unmodified sensing platforms.D-Galactal was selected as the inhibitor forβ-galactosidase to further assess the feasibility of screening potential inhibitors.The fluorescence recovery of BPQDs suggests that the unmodified sensing platform is feasible to discover potential drugs ofβ-galactosidase.Our work paves a general way in the detection of glycosidase activity with fluorescent BPQDs,which can be promising for glycosidase-related disease diagnosis and pathophysiology elucidation.Dan Li Ling Liang Yawei Tang Linna Fu Shehua Xiao Quan Yuan 2019Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,5:2

12Self-powered ammonia synthesis under ambient conditions via N_(2) discharge driven by Tesla turbine triboelectric nanogenerators显示文摘Ammonia synthesis using low-power consumption and eco-friendly methods has attracted increasing attention.Here,based on the Tesla turbine triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG),we designed a simple and effective self-powered ammonia synthesis system by N_(2) discharge.Under the driving of the simulated waste gas,the Tesla turbine TENG showed high rotation speed and high output.In addition,the performance of two Tesla turbine TENGs with different gas path connections was systematically investigated and discussed.A controllable series-parallel connection with the control of gas supply time was also proposed.Taking advantage of the intrinsic high voltage,corona discharge in a N_(2) atmosphere was simply realized by a Tesla turbine TENG.With the flow of N_(2),the generated high-energy plasma can immediately react with water molecules to directly produce ammonia.The self-powered system achieved a yield of 2.14μg h^(−1)(0.126μmol h^(−1))under ambient conditions,showing great potential for large-scale synthesis.Kai Han Jianjun Luo Jian Chen Baodong Chen Liang Xu Yawei Feng Wei Tang Zhong Lin Wang 2021Microsystems & Nanoengineering2021,7,1:1

15Stable cycling of practical high-voltage LiCoO_(2)pouch cell via electrolyte modification显示文摘Nitriles as efficient electrolyte additives are widely used in high-voltage lithium-ion batteries.However,their working mechanisms are still mysterious,especially in practical high-voltage LiCoO_(2)pouch lithium-ion batteries.Herein,we adopt a tridentate ligandcontaining 1,3,6-hexanetricarbonitrile(HTCN)as an effective electrolyte additive to shed light on the mechanism of stabilizing high-voltage LiCoO_(2)cathode(4.5 V)through nitriles.The LiCoO_(2)/graphite pouch cells with the HTCN additive electrolyte possess superior cycling performance,90%retention of the initial capacity after 800 cycles at 25℃,and 72%retention after 500 cycles at 45℃,which is feasible for practical application.Such an excellent cycling performance can be attributed to the stable interface:The HTCN molecules with strong electron-donating ability participate in the construction of cathode-electrolyte interphase(CEI)through coordinating with Co ions,which suppresses the decomposition of electrolyte and improves the structural stability of LiCoO_(2)during cycling.In summary,the work recognizes a coordinating-based interphase-forming mechanism as an effective strategy to optimize the performance of high voltage LiCoO_(2)cathode with appropriate electrolyte additives for practical pouch batteries.Chao Tang Yawei Chen Zhengfeng Zhang Wenqiang Li Junhua Jian Yulin Jie Fanyang Huang Yehu Han Wanxia Li Fuping Ai Ruiguo Cao Pengfei Yan Yuhao Lu Shuhong Jiao 2023Nano Research2023,16,3:0
16Treatment of refractory H.pylori by Chai Ping Decoction:two case reports显示文摘目的:幽门螺杆菌感染是最常见的感染之一,目前已经广泛应用了很多医学治疗措施,比如四联疗法和序贯疗法。但部分患者经多次治疗仍有感染。在幽门螺杆菌感染的治疗中,中药得到了广泛的应用。对于反复感染幽门螺杆菌的患者,中医治疗与抗生素治疗相结合是否有效尚需临床观察。方法:报告2例难治性幽门螺杆菌感染病例。一例是一名60岁的中国妇女,诊断为慢性萎缩性胃炎和幽门螺杆菌感染,胃部不适,食欲不振,情绪低落,排便不规律。另一例是一名46岁的越南妇女,已经腹痛11年。我们采用柴平汤联合序贯治疗两例患者。结果:两例患者治疗后均疼痛缓解,幽门螺杆菌被根除。结论:中药联合序贯治疗可能清除幽门螺杆菌感染。根据中医理论,患者出现腹部不适症状,为脾虚湿气证,可以被较好的治疗。Heqing Chen Yawei Du Xiaoyi Tang Shuo Feng Xiaoli Wang Xinyi Li Yeyin Hu Youping Li Guihua Tian Bo Li 2018TMR Clinical Research2018,1,2:0
17Structural and functional imaging of brains显示文摘Analyzing the complex structures and functions of brain is the key issue to understanding the physiological and pathological processes.Although neuronal morphology and local distribution of neurons/blood vessels in the brain have been known,the subcellular structures of cells remain challenging,especially in the live brain.In addition,the complicated brain functions involve numerous functional molecules,but the concentrations,distributions and interactions of these molecules in the brain are still poorly understood.In this review,frontier techniques available for multiscale structure imaging from organelles to the whole brain are first overviewed,including magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),computed tomography(CT),positron emission tomography(PET),serial-section electron microscopy(ss EM),light microscopy(LM)and synchrotron-based X-ray microscopy(XRM).Specially,XRM for three-dimensional(3D)imaging of large-scale brain tissue with high resolution and fast imaging speed is highlighted.Additionally,the development of elegant methods for acquisition of brain functions from electrical/chemical signals in the brain is outlined.In particular,the new electrophysiology technologies for neural recordings at the single-neuron level and in the brain are also summarized.We also focus on the construction of electrochemical probes based on dual-recognition strategy and surface/interface chemistry for determination of chemical species in the brain with high selectivity and long-term stability,as well as electrochemophysiological microarray for simultaneously recording of electrochemical and electrophysiological signals in the brain.Moreover,the recent development of brain MRI probes with high contrast-to-noise ratio(CNR)and sensitivity based on hyperpolarized techniques and multi-nuclear chemistry is introduced.Furthermore,multiple optical probes and instruments,especially the optophysiological Raman probes and fiber Raman photometry,for imaging and biosensing in live brain are emphasized.Finally,a brief perspective on existing challenges and further research development is provided.Zhichao Liu Ying Zhu Liming Zhang Weiping Jiang Yawei Liu Qiaowei Tang Xiaoqing Cai Jiang Li Lihua Wang Changlu Tao Xianzhen Yin Xiaowei Li Shangguo Hou Dawei Jiang Kai Liu Xin Zhou Hongjie Zhang Maili Liu Chunhai Fan Yang Tian 2023Science China Chemistry2023,66,2:0
18Effects of degenerative autologous nucleus pulposus on the lumbar sympathetic trunk: Sympathetic inflammation in rats显示文摘Objective: We have reported the presence of discogenic visceral pain secondary to anterior herniation of the lumbar disc. The aim of this study was to observe the inflammatory response of the sympathetic trunk to an autologous degenerative nucleus pulposus(NP) injection under fluoroscopy. Methods: A total of 72 rats were used. In 24 rats,the autologous NP suspension was injected into the right sympathetic trunk. Next,food intake and body weight of each rat were monitored for 14 days. Fourteen days after the injection,the right lumbar sympathetic trunk was harvested for histological assessment,and protein levels of IL-1 β,IL-6,and TNF-α were quantified via ELISA. Results: In the NP-treated group,endoneural hyperemia and intensive infiltration of inflammatory cells could be identified in sections of the sympathetic trunk by the hematoxylin and eosin(H&E) stain. Meanwhile,elevated concentrations of IL-1 β,IL-6,and TNF-α were determined in the sympathetic trunk of the NP group as compared to that of the na?ve and control groups,which indicated the development of an inflammatory response. Furthermore,food intake and body weight of rats in the NP group decreased significantly. 19Experience with pulmonary vein isolation in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation by using a circular cryoablation catheter显示文摘Objective This study was to report our early experience with electrical isolation of pulmonary vein (PV) in paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AF) by using a circular cryoablation catheter. Methods After electroanatomic model of LA/PVs was established by Carto, cryoablation was performed in each PV. If complete isolation of PVs could not be achieved, then additional radiofrequency ablations would be applied to ablate the conduction gaps. Results Cryoablation was performed in totally 58 PVs in 14 cases with paroxysmal AF. Thirty-one PVs (53.4%) were successfully isolated with the single use of the circular cryoablation catheter after 2 to 5 (3.2±1.5) cryoablation, while 2 to 4 additional radiofrequency ablations needed to be applied at gaps on the circular cryoablation lines to achieve completely isolation in 27 PVs (46.6%). After a follow up of 18±7 months, 11 patients (78.6%) remained AF free. Selective pulmonary venography immediately and repeat magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan at 3 months post procedure showed there was no PV stenosis. 20Practical Blind Image Denoising via Swin-Conv-UNet and Data Synthesis显示文摘While recent years have witnessed a dramatic upsurge of exploiting deep neural networks toward solving image denoising,existing methods mostly rely on simple noise assumptions,such as additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN),JPEG compression noise and camera sensor noise,and a general-purpose blind denoising method for real images remains unsolved.In this paper,we attempt to solve this problem from the perspective of network architecture design and training data synthesis.Specifically,for the network architecture design,we propose a swin-conv block to incorporate the local modeling ability of residual convolutional layer and non-local modeling ability of swin transformer block,and then plug it as the main building block into the widely-used image-to-image translation UNet architecture.For the training data synthesis,we design a practical noise degradation model which takes into consideration different kinds of noise(including Gaussian,Poisson,speckle,JPEG compression,and processed camera sensor noises)and resizing,and also involves a random shuffle strategy and a double degradation strategy.Extensive experiments on AGWN removal and real image denoising demonstrate that the new network architecture design achieves state-of-the-art performance and the new degradation model can help to significantly improve the practicability.We believe our work can provide useful insights into current denoising research.The source code is available at http://gffzz188fe103f8f1460as6wwqnkw5vox56kuv.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/cszn/SCUNet.Kai Zhang Yawei Li Jingyun Liang Jiezhang Cao Yulun Zhang Hao Tang Deng-Ping Fan Radu Timofte Luc Van Gool 2023Machine Intelligence Research2023,20,6:0
