| 1 | Optimization of H_2O_2 dosage in microwave-H_2O_2 process for sludge pretreatment with uniform design method显示文摘A microwave-H2O2 process for sludge pretreatment exhibited high efficiencies of releasing organics,nitrogen,and phosphorus,but large quantities of H2O2 residues were detected.A uniform design method was thus employed in this study to further optimize H2O2 dosage by investigating effects of pH and H2O2 dosage on the amount of H2O2 residue and releases of organics,nitrogen,and phosphorus.A regression model was established with pH and H2O2 dosage as the independent variables,and H2O2 residue and releases of organics,nitrogen,and phosphorus as the dependent variables.In the optimized microwave-H2O2 process,the pH value of the sludge was firstly adjusted to 11.0,then the sludge was heated to 80°C and H2O2 was dosed at a H2O2:mixed liquor suspended solids(MLSS)ratio of 0.2,and the sludge was finally heated to 100°C by microwave irradiation.Compared to the microwave-H2O2 process without optimization,the H2O2 dosage and the utilization rate of H2O2 in the optimized microwave-H2O2 process were reduced by 80% and greatly improved by 3.87 times,respectively,when the H2O2:MLSS dosage ratio was decreased from 1.0 to 0.2,resulting in nearly the same release rate of soluble chemical oxygen demand in the microwave-H2O2 process without optimization at H2O2:MLSS ratio of 0.5. | Qingcong Xiao Hong Yan Yuansong Wei Yawei Wang Fangang Zeng Xiang Zheng | 2012 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,12: | 12 |

| 3 | Applications of Metal–Organic Frameworks and Their Derivatives in Electrochemical CO_(2)Reduction显示文摘Electrochemically reducing CO_(2)to more reduced chemical species is a promising way that not only enables the conversion of intermittent energy resources to stable fuels,but also helps to build a closed-loop anthropogenic carbon cycle.Among various electrocatalysts for electrochemical CO_(2)reduction,multifunctional metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)have been employed as highly efficient and selective heterogeneous electrocatalysts due to their ultrahigh porosity and topologically diverse structures.Up to now,great progress has been achieved in the design and synthesis of highly active and selective MOF-related catalysts for electrochemical CO_(2)reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR),and their corresponding reaction mechanisms have been thoroughly studied.In this review,we summarize the recent progress of applying MOFs and their derivatives in CO_(2)RR,with a focus on the design strategies for electrocatalysts and electrolyzers.We first discussed the reaction mechanisms for different CO_(2)RR products and introduced the commonly applied electrolyzer configurations in the current CO_(2)RR system.Then,an overview of several categories of products(CO,HCOOH,CH_(4),CH_(3)OH,and multi-carbon chemicals)generated from MOFs or their derivatives via CO_(2)RR was discussed.Finally,we offer some insights and perspectives for the future development of MOFs and their derivatives in electrochemical CO_(2)reduction.We aim to provide new insights into this field and further guide future research for large-scale applications. | Chengbo Li Yuan Ji Youpeng Wang Chunxiao Liu Zhaoyang Chen Jialin Tang Yawei Hong Xu Li Tingting Zheng Qiu Jiang Chuan Xia | 2023 | Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,8: | 2 |

| 5 | Esrrb plays important roles in maintaining self-renewal of trophoblast stem cells (TSCs) and reprogramming somatic cells to induced TSCs显示文摘Trophoblast stem cells (TSCs), which can be derived from the trophoectoderm of a blastocyst, have the ability to sustain self-renewal and differentiate into various placental trophoblast cell types. Meanwhile, essential insights into the molecular mechanisms controlling the placental development can be gained by using TSCs as the cell model. Esrrb is a transcription factor that has been shown to play pivotal roles in both embryonic stem cell (ESC) and TSC, but the precise mechanism whereby Esrrb regulates TSC-specific transcriptome during differentiation and reprogramming is still largely unknown. In the present study, we elucidate the function of Esrrb in self-renewal and differentiation of TSCs, as well as during the induced TSC (iTSC) reprogramming. We demonstrate that the precise level of Esrrb is critical for stem state maintenance and further trophoblast differentiation of TSCs, as ectopically expressed Esrrb can partially block the rapid differentiation of TSCs in the absence of fibroblast growth factor 4. However, Esrrb depletion results in downregulation of certain key TSC-specific transcription factors, consequently causing a rapid differentiation of TSCs and these Esrrb-deficient TSCs lose the ability of hemorrhagic lesion formation in vivo. This function of Esrrb is exerted by directly binding and activating a core set of TSC-specific target genes including Cdx2, Eomes, Sox2, Fgfr4, and Bmp4. Furthermore, we show that Esrrb overexpression can facilitate the MEF-to-iTSC conversion. Moreover, Esrrb can substitute for Eomes to generate GEsTM-iTSCs. | 7 | Dynamic nucleosome organization after fertilization reveals regulatory factors for mouse zygotic genome activation显示文摘Chromatin remodeling is essential for epigenome reprogramming after frilization.However,the underlying mechanisms of chromatin remodeling remain to be explored.Here,we investigated the dynamic changes in nucleosome occupancy and positioning in pronucleus-stage zygotes using ultra low-input MNase seq.We observed distinct features of inheritance and reconstruction of nucleosome positioning in both paternal and maternal genomes.Genome wide de novo nucleosome occupancy in the paternal genome was observed as early as 1 h after the injection of sperm into ooplasm.The nucleosome positioning pattern was continually rebuilt to form nucleosome-depleted regions(NDRs)at promoters and transcription factor(TF)binding sites with differential dynamics in paternal and maternal genomes.NDRs formed more quickly on the promoters of genes involved in zygotic genome activation(ZGA),and this formation is closely linked to histone acetylation,but not transcription elongation or DNA replication.Importantly,we found that NDR establishment on the binding motifs of specific TFs might be associated with their potential pioneer functions in ZGA.Further investigations suggested that the predicted factors MLX and RFX1 played important roles in regulating minor and major ZGA,respectively.Our data not only elucidate the nucleosome positioning dynamics in both male and female pronuclei fllowing frtiliatin,but also provide an eficient method for identifying key transcription regulators during development. | Chenfei Wang Chuan Chen Xiaoyu Liu Chong Li Qiu Wu Xiaolan Chen Lingyue Yang Xiaochen Kou Yanhong Zhao Hong Wang Yawei Gao Yong Zhang Shaorong Gao | 2022 | Cell Research2022,32,9: | 1 |

| 14 | Management of esophageal mucosa with high-grade dysplasia显示文摘Objective:Early detection and treatment in patients with esophageal cancer is the most effective way to improve the prognosis. Patients with high-grade dysplasia(HGD) in esophageal mucosa might be involved with early esophageal cancer,but the management of the disease is controversial. The purpose of our study was to explore the management of esophageal mucosa with HGD. Methods:We retrospectively analyzed 10 patients with HGD in esophageal mucosa,who underwent esophagectomy in Cancer Hospital of Fudan University from 1999 to 2006. The surgical approach,postoperative morbidity,in-hospital complications and pathological results of the patients were analyzed. Basing on our data together with other studies,we aimed at looking for an appropriate management for patients with HGD. Results:Of the 10 patients who received esophagectomy,the pathological results showed that 2(20%) cases were in situ carcinoma and 8(80%) cases were invasive cancer with no regional lymph nodes involved. 30-day mortality was 0. One patient experienced cervical anastomotic leakage,but healed in 2 weeks. There was no pulmonary complication. Conclusion:Most patients with HGD actually have occult carcinoma. High percentage of patients with HGD would develop into cancer during their lifetime.
